An NGO boat carrying 237 “rescued” migrants landed in the Spanish port of Malaga, causing the reception center there to be strained beyond its capacity. Meanwhile, Britain’s National Crime Agency warns that 700,000 migrants are backed up in Libya, waiting to enter Europe.
In other news, according to the latest poll, the number of Britons who want to leave the EU has increased by 15% since the Brexit referendum.

Italian Economy Slowing, But Positive Signs — Bank of Italy
Bank of Italy Governor Ignazio Visco said Tuesday that there were several good signs for Italy’s economic outlook even though growth was slowing.
He added, however, that Italy would be more vulnerable if there were a new economic crisis than it was 10 years ago. The governor told the assembly of banking association ABI that the Italian economy was slowing “along with the other main economies”, saying that “deceleration signals spread to the spring”.

Boston Dynamics Upgrades “Terrifying” Robots With Creepy Features
Boston Dynamics has upgraded their two “nightmare inducing” robots since last our last report — adding several new tricks to their arsenal that should help considerably in the robot uprising.
In May, the company’s “Atlas” humanoid robot could be seen running through a field as if in hot pursuit of John Connor. Now, the first horseman of the robot apocalypse can dodge obstacles — so if you try to tip over garbage cans to slow it down in an alley, it’ll probably just do a forward flip over them before reacquiring you with its laser cannon (we imagine. Atlas currently has no munitions we are aware of).
Also in May — BD’s “Spot mini” robot was featured prancing around — going up and down stairs at the Boston Dynamics laboratories, ominously. Now it can navigate the whole facility by itself.

Explaining American Leftists: Part 1
As I watch a great number of my fellow Americans and virtually all of the mainstream media descend further and further into irrational and immoral hysteria — regularly calling the president of the United States and all of his supporters Nazis, white supremacists and the like; harassing Republicans where they eat, shop and live; ending family ties and lifelong friendships with people who support the president; declaring their opposition to Trump and the Republican Party the “Resistance,” as if they were American reincarnations of the French who fought real Nazis in World War II; and so on — I ask myself: What is going on? How does one explain them?
Here are some answers:…

Fake News and False Flags Are Political Tools
[…]
James Scott, cybersecurity and information warfare expert, explained this principle in an earlier interview with The Epoch Times. He stated that groups like the Muslim Brotherhood and its cyber caliphate “are constantly in search of an incident that can fan the flame of the illusion of rampant xenophobia here.”
In addition, he said, “This is what they use when they go to Black Lives Matter and Antifa: to find self-radicalizing wound collectors that they can bring in, mentor, and isolate, but expedite their radicalization to get them to act out kinetically.”
When the groups do act out with physical violence, and after there is a public outcry, Scott said, “they then weaponize that outcry and say, ‘See, told you, rampant xenophobia.’“

Henry Kissinger Pens Ominous Warning on Dangers of Artificial Intelligence
Former US Secretary of State Henry Kissinger has issued a stark warning to humanity: advances in artificial intelligence could lead to a world which humans will no longer be able to understand — and we should start preparing now.
What if machines learn to communicate with each other? What if they begin to establish their own objectives? What if they become so intelligent that they are making decisions beyond the capacity of the human mind?
Those are some of the questions the 95-year-old Kissinger poses in a piece published by the Atlantic under the apocalyptic headline: ‘How The Enlightenment Ends.’

The very day after Nikolas Cruz shot up Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland Florida, Susan Duclos published this story on ANP in which she reported upon the series of catastrophic failures by the FBI that led up to the shooting while asking, “Is The FBI’s incompetence DELIBERATE as part of their gun control agenda?”
Also pointing out that they were spending WAY TOO MANY resources and energy pursuing the ‘fake Russia collusion narrative’ and far too little of them stopping mass killers who were well known to them due to threats they had made, days after that shooting we asked on ANP if school shooter Cruz had been ‘molded’ into a mind-controlled shooter, a ‘perfect patsy’ who’d suffered mental illness and was on psychotropic drugs.
As Susan pointed out within her story, many had considered Cruz a walking time bomb and he was well known within the law enforcement community but nothing was done about him despite the many threats he had made. Susan then pointed out the similar circumstances in the Boston Marathon bombing, the Pulse Nightclub shooting, the San Bernardino Massacre and Fort Hood, where in each case the perpetrator of those horrific crimes was well know to the FBI long before the events occurred.

Just 300 Show Up for Protest Against Trump’s Supreme Court Nominee
Despite relentless media hysteria, a demonstration to protest against President Trump’s Supreme Court pick drew relatively few people.
During an appearance on Bill Maher’s show last month, far-left film maker Michael Moore said he would “join a million other people surrounding the United States Capitol” to prevent the Supreme Court nominee from being confirmed.
That figure is looking somewhat optimistic given the turnout last night.

Many years ago, Democrats were known for their staunch support of peaceful protests and our First Amendment rights guaranteeing free speech. Today, party activists have become intolerant, hateful and, in too many cases, violent.
It seems that almost every week a Trump administration official or supporter is being badgered by leftist protesters. It happened to Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen at a restaurant and at her home. Both Senior White House Policy Advisor Stephen Miller and former EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt were recently harassed at restaurants. Of course, White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders and her family were not allowed to eat dinner at the Red Hen Restaurant in Lexington, Virginia because of her support for the President’s policies.
Even movie theaters are not save havens for Trump supporters. Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi, a staunch Republican and supporter of the President, was hounded by a menacing group as she was trying to attend a movie celebrating the life of the iconic television personality Mr. Rogers, an opponent of unfair treatment and bullying. Presumably, the leftist mob learned nothing about manners from the life of Mr. Rogers.
All of this mistreatment has been encouraged by some far-left activists and Democrat Party leaders like Congresswoman Maxine Waters (D-CA). At a June 23 rally in Los Angeles, Waters urged her supporters to continue the abuse. She said, “Let’s make sure we show up wherever we have to show up. And if you see anybody from that Cabinet in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and you create a crowd. And you push back on them. And you tell them they’re not welcome anymore, anywhere.”
These incendiary comments are being taken literally by progressive agitators throughout the nation.
[Comment: Nothing less than sedition — this includes the fifth column that is the mainstream media.]
— Hat tip: JD | [Return to headlines] |
The Seditious, Treasonous and Pathological Conduct of the Left
Although sedition laws are still on the books, the Warren Court effectively neutralized them on Red Monday, 1957. Yates v. United States, 354 U.S. 298 (1957), was a case decided by the Supreme Court of the United States that held that the First Amendment protected radical and reactionary speech, unless it posed a “clear and present danger.” Link H/T to John and Andy Schlafly.
First amendment rights give us the ability to speak against what we disagree with regarding the government. For this reason, sedition laws are rarely enforced. Sedition used to be viewed as treason, or even an act of domestic terrorism, but it’s now viewed by many as American’s First Amendment rights.
Of the five rights all Americans are afforded within the First Amendment, the two that protect against sedition are freedom of speech, and freedom of the press. Americans have the right to a dissenting opinion, and the right to write about it and publish it if we choose. But prior to 1964, libel by the press against a public figure could get them sued.
That all changed with the 1964 Supreme Court decision, NYTs Co. v Sullivan which was decided by the liberal Warren court in a 9-0 decision. (Chief Justice Earl Warren was appointed by Republican President Dwight Eisenhower. Another liberal followed the Warren Court, Chief Justice Warren Burger, appointed by Republican President Richard Nixon.) This decision changed the rules involving libel that had previously been the province of state law and state courts and stated that media could lie about public figures with impunity as it was a first amendment right. A public official could recover in a libel action only if and when a court found that the libelous statement about the official was made with “actual malice” — that is, with knowledge that it was false or with reckless disregard of whether it was false or not. This is their tortured interpretation.
The 1964 SCOTUS decision, which dealt with a civil libel action, changed the dynamics of debate in our society into the deceptive and dishonest attacks on public figures we see daily by society’s socialists.
The definition of sedition describes what has happened to Donald J. Trump since he and his wife came down that escalator to announce his candidacy for President on 16 June 15.
What we cannot do as Americans is incite violence towards the President. We cannot make threats on his life or attempt to encourage others to forcibly remove him from office; that is, in fact, illegal, yet it continues with no consequences for the perpetrators.
In Leonard Levy’s book, Legacy of Suppression, he describes how previous restraint of the press was the rule rather than the exception and that punishment was frequent and relatively sure for the orator who voiced criticism of courts or legislatures. It is a book wholly devoted to the subject of seditious libel. The 1964 Warren Court decision swung the pendulum too far to the left allowing media to lie through their teeth with impunity.

Donald Trump’s appointment of a second supreme court justice, even before he and his party have to face his 1st mid-term congressional elections, may be the single most consequential decision — and opportunity — of his entire presidency.
This is blazingly apparent just in the insane mass conniption fit thrown by the radical Democrat left since the moment Anthony Kennedy’s resignation was announced. The appointment of Judge Brett Kavanaugh, who by all reports is on the President’s short list, would be a mistake however.
Kavanaugh is not only the candidate of Karl Rove and the Bush family, but the mainstream media praise for his potential appointment shows he is a deep state quisling. Even more troubling, is the fact that Kavanaugh who as a Federal Prosecutor intimidated and tampered with witnesses in the Clinton advisor Vince Foster’s mysterious death and the finding of his body at Fort Marcy Park.

What if Jonathan Chait Has Been a Useful Idiot Since 2013?
by Diana West
Back in 2013, when former Communist Party member Ron Radosh was whipping up a Pravda-style disinformation campaign against my anti-communist book, American Betrayal, New York Magazine’s Jonathan Chait stepped up and wrote an essay knocking “West’s paranoia.” While I’m not certain, I strongly suspect Chait was inveigled by Radosh to write the New York Magazine piece; I imagine Radosh blanched at Chait’s positive-ish headline: “Conservative Historian Has Interesting Ideas.”
Still, Chait’s essay bears the familiar stamp of the Radosh/Horowitz-led assault in its repeated misrepresentations of my footnoted analysis of the influence (not “control”) on US policy-making potentially exerted by hundreds of Soviet “agents of influence” and fellow travelers covertly embedded inside the US government — the subversive force that “court historians,” who bestow glory on political favorites rather than shed light on the past, ignore or deny to this day. Not that it is likely journalista Chait cracked the book. All he had to do was pretend, a la Radosh & Horowitz, that I had advanced a theory, as Chait put it, that “the Soviets controlled the American government in the way they controlled, say, East Germany.” As any reader knows, this is cartoonish rubbish — but a handy way to deceive readers into dismissing the book as such.
I am reminded of this because Chait has now spun up an East-Germany-style vision of Donald Trump as Putin’s Honecker, a traitor to the USA since 1987.
Titled “What If Trump Has Been a Russian Asset Since 1987?,” the Chait piece does not even rise to the level of “conspiracy theory,” Chait having presented no conspiracy to theorize about. His technique is to raise, magnify and connect doubts. “How do you even think about the small but real chance — 10 percent? 20 percent? — that the president of the United States has been covertly influenced or personally compromised by a hostile foreign power for decades?” he asks. One answer is, you write a few thousand pointless words.
But only about Trump. Chait takes everything back to Trump’s July 1987 visit to Moscow. That’s because in September of that same year Trump took out a series of full-page ads in prominent newspapers noting that “Japan and other nations have been taking advantage of the United States.? In his open letter to the American people, Trump asked, ?Why are these nations not paying the United States for the human lives and billions of dollars we are losing to protect their interests?”…

Caroline Glick: NATO is the Author of Its Own Demise
[…]
Beyond refusing to abide by their financial commitments to spend two percent of their GDP on their own defense, European nations use NATO as a means of vetoing or undermining U.S. freedom of action. This came across clearly in 2003, when NATO allies France, Germany, and Belgium refused to have NATO serve as the framework for the U.S.-led invasion of Iraq. They also refused Turkey’s request for consultations over a possible Iraqi attack against it.
Today, NATO members Britain, France, and Germany are working through the EU to undermine U.S. sanctions against Iran, in the interest of preserving the Iranian nuclear deal from 2015. As Trump noted when he announced U.S. abandonment of the Iran deal, far from preventing Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons, the agreement gives Iran an open road to a nuclear arsenal. So today, key NATO allies are operating against the U.S on behalf of the Iranian regime in furtherance of its nuclear ambitions.
Then there is NATO ally Turkey.
Turkey, with its strategic location on Europe’s southeastern flank, was a vital member of the anti-Soviet alliance. But for the past decade or so, Turkey’s central achievement in NATO has been to block any chance of the alliance ever becoming reconfigured to combat and defeat the new common foe of all of its members except Turkey — radical Islam.

Church of England to Divest From Oil Firms That Don’t Fight Climate Change
The Church of England voted on Sunday to divest from oil and gas companies after 2023 if it finds them lacking in tackling climate change.
The Church of England’s General Synod adopted a motion with 347 votes in favor to 4 against, with 3 abstentions “to assess companies’ progress by 2023 and disinvest from any companies not on track to meet the aims of the Paris Agreement.”
“Today’s decision … will allow us to continue to push for real change in the oil and gas sector and use engagement, our voting rights and rights to file shareholder resolutions to drive the change we want to see,” a spokesperson for the Church of England said.

Delingpole: Trump Backs Boris Johnson’s Brexit Rebellion
President Trump has poured petrol onto the flames of UK Prime Minister Theresa May’s Brexit crisis by coming out for her chief opponent Boris Johnson.
“Boris Johnson’s a friend of mine. He’s been very, very nice to me, very supportive. And I maybe well speak to him when I get over there. I like Boris Johnson, I’ve always liked him.”
This is what diplomats would call a “gaffe.” May, after all, is the leader of the nation to which Trump will shortly be making his first official visit. Johnson, meanwhile, is May’s new public enemy number one. Having just resigned as her Foreign Secretary (in protest at her watered down Brexit plans), he no longer has any status within her government. Yet here is President Trump, publicly proposing to humiliate her by promising face time to a nobody she considers persona non grata.

Is Europe Awakening to the Threat?
Much of Europe was asleep, or in denial, when the Nazis took power and began rebuilding their military in violation of the Versailles Treaty that brought World War I to an end. Now, after years of virtually unlimited migration from predominately North African and other Muslim regions, some European nations are awakening to what this could mean for their countries and are responding, hoping it’s not too late.
Sebastian Kurz, the far-right chancellor of Austria, has plans, according to the Daily Mail, to “expel up to 60 Turkish-funded imams and their families and … shut down seven mosques as part of a crackdown on ‘political Islam.’“ These mosques, Austria says, are being subsidized by the Turkish government, which is becoming more radical after the recent election, which granted President Recep Tayyip Erdogan new powers as he seeks to create a more “pious generation” in order to change to country and make it more Islamic.
Justification for Kurz’s move comes from a 2015 law banning foreign funding of religious groups. The chancellor told a recent news conference: “parallel societies, political Islam and radicalization have no place in our country. … This is just the beginning.”

Pope Francis: We Are Turning Earth Into a Desert
Pope Francis warned the world that we are turning the Earth into “rubble, deserts and refuse” in a statement on July 6.
This newest declaration came during a conference celebrating the third anniversary of the Pope’s Laudato si’, or Praise Be to You, encyclical, in which he urged the world to listen to climate scientists and begin doing all that we can to stop the supposed scourge of anthropogenic global warming. In the encyclical, he called climate change “one of the principal challenges facing humanity in our day.”
“There is a real danger that we will leave future generations only rubble, deserts and refuse,” Francis said on Friday.
In his remarks, the pope urged the nations of the world to honor their commitments to the 2015 Paris Climate Accord, which looks to keep future global warming less than 2°C by voluntarily decreasing carbon emissions. A recent report by Climate Action Tracker shows that only eight of the 195 signatories are on track to meet this goal. President Trump has vowed to remove America from the Paris agreement, saying that it “disadvantages the United States to the exclusive benefit of other countries.”
“We all know that much still needs to be done to implement that (Paris) agreement,” Francis told attendees. “All governments should strive to honor the commitments made in Paris, in order to avoid the worst consequences of the climate crisis,” he continued.

UK: Fight Against ‘Grooming Gangs’ Backed by Just 3% of Lawmakers
The United Kingdom has been scorched in recent years with scandals about Muslim gangs grooming children for sexual abuse.
It’ s developed in Rotherham, Telford and Newcastle, and has become not only a topic of national conservation but of international concern.
Now 20 members of Parliament have written to Home Secretary Sajid Havid asking for action on the program “ to protect children and to bring offenders to justice.”
But Andrew Jones, a journalist based in Europe, says that’ s horrible in a report at the Gatestone Institute.
Not that 20 members wrote about the problem, but that the other 630 didn’ t.
“ The 20 signatories constitute a mere 3 percent willing to support the protection of children subjected to gang-rape, trafficking and torture, and at times murder. Such a paltry number of politicians willing to speak out against child sexual slavery seems yet more evidence of the moral bankruptcy of Britain’ s political elite and how low the country appears to have sunk,” he wrote.
The letter, asking for help in tackling the abuse by “ organized grooming gangs in Britain,” points out that such exploitation was categorized “ as a national threat in the Strategic Policing Requirement.”

“Jihad Allowance”: Views of Work in the Middle East
Recently, the President of Iran, Hassan Rouhani, dismissed President Trump as just a “tradesman” who lacked the qualifications to handle political and international affairs. At face value, the criticism might sound similar to that of an opposition party alleging that Trump lacks political experience. Coming from an Islamic leader, however, it reflects a much deeper meaning: on how differently the Islamic culture views the work ethic and the means of acquiring wealth.
Although there are many Muslims who work tirelessly and are immensely successful, Islamic culture in general has little respect for manual labor and even for business owners. People who engage in legitimate “trade” for a living are often viewed with scorn or as “having” to labor for a living.

Belief in Social Struggle Has Destroyed Harmony by Poisoning Discourse
[…]
The conflicts that have arisen are partially caused by the loss of traditional discourse, and we can largely thank two communist concepts for this: the ever-changing political-moral system of “political correctness” from Mao Zedong and the Frankfurt School’s Marxist theory of “repressive tolerance,” in which viewpoints that diverge from the approved political narrative should be met with intolerance and violent suppression.
Much of this ties to the poisoning of traditional dialectics—the methods of discussion and debate that once allowed us to find truth and common ground in opposing viewpoints. Among the best known of these methods in the West is the Socratic method, in which people of different views and opinions ask and answer questions, and through their discussion are able to widen their understandings and find truth.

‘A Matter of Life & Death’: 15,000 White South African Farmers Seek Refuge in Russia
A delegation of 30 South African farming families has arrived in Russia’s farmbelt Stavropol region, Rossiya 1 TV channel reports. The group says it is facing violent attacks and death threats at home.
Up to 15,000 Boers, descendants of Dutch settlers in South Africa, are planning to move to Russia amid rising violence stemming from government plans to expropriate their land, according to the delegation.
“It’s a matter of life and death — there are attacks on us. It’s got to the point where the politicians are stirring up a wave of violence,” Adi Slebus told the media. “The climate here [in the Stavropol region] is temperate, and this land is created by God for farming. All this is very attractive.”

(ANSAmed) — Madrid, July 10 — The arrival in Spain on Monday of 237 migrants rescued by Spanish authorities in the western Mediterranean has taken reception facilities in the southern region of Andalusia to bursting point, Red Cross sources have said. The migrants disembarked from the SAR vessel Mastelero in Malaga port on Monday morning and given immediate medical and humanitarian assistance.

For the First Time, Italy Prevents a Private Italian Ship From Docking With Rescued Migrants
After announcing a stop to all ‘international mission’ boats bringing migrants to Italy at the weekend, the government has now for the first time turned away an Italian vessel.
The interior ministry denied a civilian vessel permission to dock at an Italian port after it responded to a distress call and picked up 66 rescued migrants.

Immigrants Are Flooding Into Europe, But They Can’t Solve the Demographic Crisis
“It doesn’t matter if we Spaniards do not have enough children, as long as foreign migrants come to Spain and have kids here,” the head of a major conservative Spanish think tank said to me a couple of years ago. I had suggested to him that the center-right Partido Popular — now the governing party in Spain — promote pro-natal policies.
But can immigration really make up for Spain’s growing birth deficit? Since 2011, when we had our conversation, both Spaniards and migrants have had fewer children each year. In part because of the ongoing economic recession, there were 10% fewer children born in 2013 than in 2011. Moreover, more people migrated out of Spain than migrated into it during this period. The net migration flow was negative, not positive.
Tylenol is great for relieving the pain of a headache, but it won’t cure a brain tumor. In fact, by masking the pain, it might stop us from finding out that we have a tumor and seek treatment for it. It might, in this way, actually kill us.
Many Europeans view immigration the way that people with a headache view Tylenol. The immigrants flooding into Europe mask the pain of the aging native population with its huge baby deficit. It disguises the ugly core demographic numbers, and gives politicians and the public an excuse to avoid taking the real steps necessary to avoid committing demographic suicide.

NCA: 700,000 Migrants in Libya Waiting to Board Boats to Europe
Europe’s problems with criminal trafficking gangs and illegal immigration are getting worse, the UK’s National Crime Agency (NCA) has warned, just days after the United Nations (UN) claimed that boat arrivals were “necessary” for the continent.
Pointing to a sharp rise in the number of attempted crossings from Africa along with the emergence of increasingly sophisticated ways of trafficking people across borders within the EU, the NCA revealed authorities in Europe are struggling to deal with smuggling gangs and immigration-related crime.

Swedish Municipalities Have to Cut Welfare to Pay for Raising Migrant Costs
The surge in migration is becoming problematic for several Swedish municipalities. The ones that have received many so-called newly arrived students in school must “prioritize” and “cut welfare”, Sverige Radio reports
For municipalities the new arrivals mean significant additional costs, which they cannot afford, because the government contribution is too small.

The Boston Poison Tea Party: City May Give Non-Citizens Voting Rights
America isn’t just for Americans anymore. That’s the message of Boston’s City Council, as it’s considering giving foreigners residing in the US the “right” to vote in municipal elections. It’s part of a growing movement that has already seen numerous localities throughout the nation grant legally present non-citizens ballot-box access.
Such a proposal would bring laughter (and perhaps sometimes violence) in Mexico and virtually any other country on Earth, but in the United States the joke’s on us. The Boston Herald reports, “The Boston City Council will consider ways it can let noncitizens vote in city elections … [today] in a hearing on a controversial measure being pushed by Council President Andrea Campbell.”

Three in Four Germans Say Immigration Policies Are Negligently Handled
A full 72% of Germans find immigration policies in Germany to be “too careless”, according to a newly released survey by the research institute YouGov.
The survey, which asked 2,040 participants their views between June 20th — July 4th, was conducted during a period of time when Interior Minister Horst Seehofer and Chancellor Angela Merkel have been caught in an ongoing conflict about whether — and how — to accept more refugees at the German-Austrian border.

Trump’s Promise: ICE Releases Annual Report on Criminal Alien Captures
Illegal immigrants who were arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement were responsible for well over 48,000 assault offenses in 2017, according to a White House press release Thursday.
Illegal aliens — either border crossers or visa overstays — captured by ICE were also responsible for more than 5,000 sexual assault offenses, upwards of 2,000 kidnapping and abduction offenses, 1,800 homicide offenses and 76,000 dangerous drug offenses, according to a report from ICE.
“Abolishing ICE would mean open borders because it would eliminate the agency responsible for removing people who enter or remain in our country illegally,” the press release stated.
“Those calling for the end of ICE operations are inviting illegal aliens to thumb their noses at the U.S. justice system and its sovereignty,” said former police officer and military intelligence operative Michael Snopes.

Who’s Destroying England and Western Europe?
by Jon Rappoport
As I was writing this article, multiple terror attacks were launched in London. To say the human destruction “once again raised the question of immigration” would be a vast understatement.
In the run-up to the Brexit vote in 2016, immigration came to the fore as the key issue. But of course, the European Union has a policy of opening borders of all member countries.
The EU wants one continent, no separate countries—and the way to achieve that is by creating a massive flood of migrants. Destroy traditions and cultures that define countries. In the process, accept terrorism as “inevitable.” Don’t talk or write about the actual effects of immigration. That would be “hate speech.” Keep eyes and mouth shut, and march straight ahead into a future of one European continent ruled from above by the EU.
Ever since the UK vote to leave the unelected, terminally corrupt, and rotting edifice known as the European Union, stall tactics and threats have been launched at Brits.

The left is sneaky and they like to nudge, nudge, nudge their way to get what they want. Voting by non-citizens is another one 0f those sneaky nudges that you know won’t end with just voting in municipal races. Remember that the end justifies the means with this crowd so they really don’t care how they get there…they just want votes, votes, votes.
This is similar to the nudge we got when it was illegal aliens and then illegal immigrants and then undocumented immigrants and then undocumented Americans and now it’s DREAMers…See what they did there? NUDGING is what they do and it’s dangerous! We now have illegal aliens who have more rights than we do and are bullying us into open borders OR ELSE…
The nudge on voting is when the left claims the non-citizen is only voting for trash day or dog catcher…not to worry, right? Well, what they don’t tell you is that the local elections are very important because you’re electing mayor and city council too. That’s a big deal! The next nudge will come when the cities ask why the non-citizens can’t just go ahead and vote in federal or state elections. Why not? Can you picture the protests now?
This is the slippery slope we’ve been talking about for over a year. Several cities have already voted to allow non-citizens to vote in their municipal races but now we have the big city of Boston.

Christian Doctor Fired in UK for Suggesting Gender is Biological
A medical doctor with 26 years of experience working at the National Health Service (NHS) has been deemed “unfit to work” after insisting on identifying patients by their biological sex.
Dr. David Mackereth, 55, began training in May to become a health and disability assessor for the government but ran into trouble when his Christian and scientific convictions ran afoul of department protocols.
In his new job, Dr. Mackereth was to compile independent reports about the health of persons who were claiming disability benefits. His instructor told him that regardless of a patient or client’s biological sex, he must only refer to them by their self-identified gender.
“I said that I had a problem with this,” Mackereth said. “I believe that gender is defined by biology and genetics and that as a Christian the Bible teaches us that God made humans male or female.”
“I could have kept my mouth shut but it was the right time to raise it,” he said.
Mackereth’s instructor passed on his comments to superiors, after which received an email from Advanced Personnel Management (APM), the agency employing him and would have hired him out, stating that the Department of Works and Pensions (DWP) was adamant that any report or contact with clients should refer to people according to their chosen sex or it “could be considered harassment as defined by the 2010 Equality Act.”
The Act specifies 12 “protected characteristics,” one of which is “gender reassignment.” The Act further states that a “reference to a transsexual person is a reference to a person who has the protected characteristic of gender reassignment.” There is nothing in the act, however, relating to a duty to refer to biological males as females (or vice-versa) because of a given gender self-identification.

Conservative Professor Prevails in Wisconsin Free-Speech Case
A conservative law professor who was terminated by Marquette University in 2016 has won a victory for free speech. On Friday, July 6, the Wisconsin Supreme Court ruled in favor of Professor John McAdams, who has been suspended without pay for the last seven semesters for a post on his personal blog that criticized the treatment of a student by an instructor. The vote was 4-2 in favor of McAdams.
Marquette has said it plans to reinstate McAdams. The court sent the case back to Milwaukee County Circuit Court to award damages, which may include the restoration of unimpaired rank, tenure, compensation, and benefits.
McAdams became the first professor to lose tenure in the 135-year history of Marquette because of a November 2014 blog post critical of teaching assistant Cheryl Abbate, who was recorded berating a student who wished to be allowed to debate gay marriage in a Philosophy of Ethics class. In his Marquette Warrior blog, he wrote, “Like the rest of academia, Marquette is less and less a real university. And when gay marriage cannot be discussed, certainly not a Catholic University.”

The Democrats’ Dropping Mask: Now They Aim to End Free Speech
With the Left now admitting that it wants to abolish ICE, eliminate borders, and institute socialism, one may wonder what’s next. Nixing First Amendment rights is what, with a college professor saying that free speech cannot be progressive, another stating that it “reinforces and amplifies injustice,” and other people insisting it reflects “white privilege.”
In fact, the New York Times has just advanced the anti-free-speech movement, claiming that “Conservatives [Have] Weaponized the First Amendment.” The paper informs that “liberals who once championed expansive First Amendment rights are now uneasy about them.”

Absolutely No Co-Existence With Islam
Time and again I have warned that Islam and the West cannot co-exist. Time and again, it was as though, I was talking to a wall. It appears it has become useless to speak of this issue. No one seems to care.
Fellow travelers, there is no “coexistence” in Islam, there is only subjugation or elimination of infidels. Islam believes in the rule of Islam, Caliphate to the Sunnis and Imamate to the Shiites. Hence, to Muslims, all other forms of government represent the handiwork of Satan and infidels. Therefore, one and all non-Islamic systems of government must be purified by Islamic fire. This is a fact.
Muslim jihadists live among us. It is only going to get worse. Jihadists consider themselves the army of Allah. They use violence as an instrument of policy. This continues to be central to Islam. Muslims war under the firmly-believed and widely-cherished set of ideas that are rabidly militaristic. No matter which side is killed, Islam is the victor, “You kill them, you go to paradise; you get killed, you go to paradise,” are two examples of exhortations to jihadism and war.
For the past twenty years or so, I have been warning to free men and women: remain a spectator at your own peril. It is imperative that you take a stand, denounce the fraud of Islam and do all you can to prevent Islamic fire from devouring our civilized democratic system. Tomorrow will be too late.
I repeat, there is absolutely no chance of co-existence with Islamic doctrine. A simple understanding is to see what is happening in Islamic countries.

What if machines learn to communicate with each other? What if they begin to establish their own objectives? What if they become so intelligent that they are making decisions beyond the capacity of the human mind?
– what if its all just BS?
Musk, the S. Hawking impostor, and now a 95 year old Kissinger warn us before the killer AI, yet they dont even know what brain does and how…
The true danger is only that they want to make autonomous killer machines running a simple seek and destroy routine.

Ok, Musk, the S. Hawking impostor, Kissinger, and an online magazines which headlines read “Apple watch accessory…”, “Galaxy S10…”, “Amazon’s top ten deals” and “A $400,000 Lamborghini caught fire at a gas station”…
– these guys warn us against some AI? Laughable. 😉
The Pope is absolutely illogical: he needs an increase in the population, but with them they should not leave waste of life after themselves.
Maybe he should head a flock of locusts?
“This is what diplomats would call a “gaffe.” May, after all, is the leader of the nation to which Trump will shortly be making his first official visit.”
Trump has never been one to adhere to diplomatic convention. He may also want to meet Farage which would irritate them even more.
“…punish anyone wearing a mask who “injures, oppresses, threatens or intimidates” a person “in the free exercise or enjoyment of any right or privilege” with a fine and up to 15 years in prison…” This could help Ukraine contain their Nazis – a little-little bit…
We don’t have options for AI. China and Russia are developing it, big time. If we remain behind as we do, we will lose the next war before it starts.
Is the brain capable of intelligence? If it is, why would any man made artificial intelligence be any better than man’s own intelligence?
The name of the game is “machines that can operate without man’s supervision”, and I agree that nobody would like to stay behind in this day and age. Yet – what “new” would these things bring into the world that isn’t already present?
A hundred T34’s will eventually kill any King Tiger.
Human computer chess matches don’t take place anymore because the computer always wins. I’m not talking about the chess programme you may have sitting on your computer but the high end stuff. Those programmes now duke it out amongst themselves and computing power continues to increase.
Reddit is a good example of bot (small programmes) use, they use bots to monitor grammar, warn about possible infringements and provide links to websites related to what is being discussed.
Things are a changing for sure.
Perhaps the point of the warnings is to ensure that we as a species maintain alternatives.
Good point.
Although we could probably continue this discussion indefinitely – about, lets say, how would a chess computer come up with a real intelligent design of a car or an airplane? Driverless cars are also still not as good as to go driving anywhere on the planet – like a man can.
All these “migrants” getting ready to go to Europe reminds me of the Mariel boatlift. These countries in north Africa are getting rid of their problems by sending them to Europe, and anybody who thinks they will be anything other than a burden for the European natives is doing nothing but dealing in sophistry.
A multicultural relationship doesn’t work out and ends in slaughter. Some same culture relationships end the same way also so not to put too fine a point on it. Info is info.
