4 Dead, Several Wounded in Waffle House Shooting Near Nashville; Suspect Sought

NASHVILLE — A man wearing nothing but a coat stormed a Waffle House restaurant in Tennessee before dawn Sunday and shot four people to death, according to police, who credited a customer with saving lives by wresting a weapon away from the gunman.

The Metropolitan Nashville Police Department said via its Twitter account that authorities are searching for 29-year-old Travis Reinking of Morton, Illinois. Police said he was named as a person of interest because the pickup truck that the gunman used to drive to the restaurant was registered to Reinking.

Police spokesman Don Aaron said three people died at the scene and one person died at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Two other people were being treated there for gunshot wounds. Medical Center spokeswoman Jennifer Wetzel said one was in critical condition and the other was in critical but stable condition.

Aaron said the gunman arrived at the restaurant, sat in the parking lot for four minutes and shot two people with an assault rifle. The gunman then went inside and continued firing…

Government Accidentally Releases Documents on Remote Mind-Control

Just months after the mysterious ‘brain-melting weapon’ accusations in Cuba, that left several US diplomats with long-term mental damage, something very strange has popped up… from an even stranger origin.

Earlier this year, MuckRock Journalist Curtis Waltman (who specializes in filing Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests) wrote to the Washington State Fusion Center (WSFC) — a joint operation between Washington State law enforcement and the federal government — to request information about Antifa and white supremacist groups.

He received a satisfactory response to the question she had asked, but as Waltman notes, when you send thousands of FOIA requests, you are bound to get some very weird responses from time to time… and so he did — attached to the response was a file titled “EM effects on human body.zip.”

UK: Who Actually Owns 221B Baker Street, London?

LONDON: This would require Sherlock Holmes himself to solve.

London’s most famous address — 221B Baker Street — the fictional home of the famous literary detective himself is now in the middle of a scorching mystery — who actually owns it?

An investigation into land deals and property records suggests that the London heritage house is linked to notorious Kazakh businessman Rakhat Aliyev and his family.

Aliyev, the son-in-law of Kazakhstan’s president Nursultan Nazarbayev was accused of corruption that helped him amass a multi-million pound business empire.

In February this year he was found hanging in an Austrian jail cell, where he was being held on murder charges.

Chido Dunn, senior campaigner at Global Witness who carried out the investigations to find the link told TOI in an interview, “We have found numerous alarm bells and red flags linking these properties to Rakhat Aliyev and the Kazakh ‘ruling family’, yet we still cannot say for certain who the real owner is. This raises real questions as to where the money came from to buy the properties and what checks were done. The UK authorities need to work out who owns these properties and where the money came from, and the laws need changing so that this kind of cash is no longer hidden behind a wall of secret companies…

  1. I didn’t see this news on here, maybe I missed it, but during the weekend a group of “Arab looking” men beat a waiter in a restaurant in Prague because he tried telling them they can’t drink their own alcohol inside the restaurant. He suffered a severe head injury. The police asked the public to help identify them and today the perpetrators were caught at the Prague Václav Havel Airport thanks to that. Aparently they “were surprised by the act”. Doesn’t surprise me, however, as West from us nobody would dare to criticise, yet alone handcuff them. Aparently they came from Holland and it wasn’t their first time in Prague, also aparently they’re boxers. I always thought anyone performing any kind of martial combat has strict rules of using it, especially against unarmed citizens, but then again it’s really not surprising this scum pees on all the rules.

On a side note: I’m told there was recently an accident at the local pool where a veiled woman walked right up to the pool. This is prohibited as you can only walk around the edges in either a swimsuit or a shirt and shorts (common sense, really). She was thrown out for a breach of rules. I sure hope our lifeguards, officers and common citizens keep putting them on their spot.

    • See my short post on this, picking up on the news from Vlad.

His site will continue with updates, but at least the unhinged driver has been arrested. As Vlad says, he was driving “a truck of peace”.

  2. Re: 221b Baker Street. I wonder who recalls the 1956 film, “23 Paces to Baker Street”, starring Van Heflin as a blind American author? The front of his apartment block was where described, but from his window he could see the Thames- or rather, he couldn’t, not least as it’s a couple of miles to the south.
