Decision expected Feb-March

(ANSA) — Arezzo, November 29 — A prosecutor on Wednesday asked an Arezzo judge to indict 19 former Banca Etruria directors and managers for the bankruptcy of the Tuscan bank that left savers holding worthless paper.

A decision is expected by February or March.

There have been some 2,500 requests to stand as civil plaintiffs in the case, one of six failures of middle-sized regional lenders.

The others were Banca Marche, CariFe, CariChieti, Banca Popolare di Vicenza and Veneto Banca.

Italy: Budget Amendment Sets up Bank Victims’ Fund

25 mn a year for 2018, 2019

(ANSA) — Rome, November 28 — An amendment to the 2018 budget sets up a 50-million-euro fund, 25 million a year for both 2018 and 2019, for the bilked victims of Italy’s banking crisis, sources said Tuesday. The “financial restoration fund” aims to compensate “savers who have suffered unfair damages, not otherwise compensated, in breach of the obligations of information, diligence, correctness and transparency” laid down by banking regulations. Thousands of small investors lost their life savings in junior bonds banks told them were safe. The most notorious cases were those of Banca Etruria, Banca Marche, Cassa di Risparmio della Provincia di Ferrara and Cassa di Risparmio della Provincia di Chieti.

One Banca Etruria former investor, Luigino D’Angelo, killed himself.

There other cases involving Veneto banks Banca Popolare di Vicenza and Veneto Banca, as well as other lenders.

‘Counter-Protestor’ Started Infamous Charlottesville Parking Garage Fight

A new independent report released Friday claims that it was a counter-protester, not white nationalists, who started the parking garage fight at the Unite The Right rally in Charlottesville, Va., in which a black man, Deandre Harris, was severely beaten.

According to the report, review of the “open source video footage” of the parking garage confrontation shows that “a counter-protester attempted to yank a flag away from a Unite The Right demonstrator who resisted and fought back… During that struggle, a second counter-protester named Deandre Harris rushed in and used a club—possibly a Maglite flashlight—to strike the Alt-Right demonstrator’s head or shoulder.”

When Older Americans Die Who Will Speak for Freedom?

After writing a weekly conservative column for 12 years, one thing has become crystal clear. Only older Americans are reading and responding to what we write. When we say older Americans, we mean those over 70 years of age, with many of our responses coming from individuals well over 80.

The results of the 2016 presidential election tell the story from the exit polls. 18 to 29 year-olds went 55% for Clinton. 30 to 44 year-olds went 50% for Clinton. 45 to 65 year-olds went 53% for Trump and 65 year-olds and older also went 53% for Trump. The male-female vote was essentially split. 54% of females voted for Clinton and 53% of males voted for Trump.

But in the 2016 Primaries, what is even more telling, millennials (18 to 29) voted for Bernie Sanders 25% greater than Trump and Clinton combined. Bernie Sanders is so far left of the center of the Democrat Party that he is in fact a pure socialist.

So why are millennials going for socialism? One only needs to look at our public schools and liberal colleges to figure that one out. At least three generations of teachers, parents and young adults have been indoctrinated in collectivism, multi-culturalism, political correctness, socialism, radical environmentalism and the one-world-order mantra. Academia has gone so far left that it does everything in its power to silence any other point of view, including using violence, harassment and intimidation. Check out the riots on college campuses these days against conservative ideas.

Brexit Latest: Economist Predicts Brussels Will Fail Due to Internal Friction

BREXIT gives the United Kingdom the opportunity to escape the European Union crumbling under the weight of internal “frictions”, economist Andrea Hossó said.

Ms Hossó predicted tensions within the European Union will “pull the Union apart” in less than 50 years.

She said: “I think that, actually, it’s not a bad moment to leave the European Union for the very reason that the EU — we’re talking about a 50 years horizon — I’m not sure the European Union as a union will be around in 50 years time.

“Quite frankly, and this is not wishful thinking, if you analyse the situation there are so many frictions, tensions, pulling the Union apart — both economic and political.”

Italy: Ex Genoa Mayor 5 Yr-Term Asked for Flood

Files on teachers shd be passed to prosecutors

(ANSA) — Genoa, November 29 — A prosecutor on Wednesday confirmed a request for five years in jail for former Genoa mayor Marta Vincenzi on charges of multiple culpable manslaughter, culpable disaster and fraud in an appeals trial for the 2011 flooding that caused six deaths in the northwestern Italian city. The prosecutor further asked that files be passed on to prosecutors on teachers who let their students out of school despite the danger. A year ago a court of first instance gave Vincenzi, of the ruling centre-left Democratic Party (PD), five years in jail for the November 4, 2011 flood in which four women and two small girls were killed. “I consider myself innocent”, said the PD official at the time. “It’s just as well that three levels of justice are foreseen in Italy. This doesn’t end here”.

Jailed Catalan Leaders in Supreme Court to Fight Against Independence Charges

MEMBERS of the ousted Catalan government are appearing in Madrid’s Supreme Court today after they requested their release ahead of the region’s elections later this month.

Along with eight members of Catalonia’s Cabinet Jordi Cuixart, head of Omnium Cultural and Jordi Sanchez, the president of the Catalan National Assembly, are also due to appear.

Sacked regional vice-president Oriol Junqueras, one of his ERC party’s main candidates for the election, has asked to be allowed to leave jail in order to campaign in the vote which was called by Madrid.

Mr Junqueras and seven other former members of the Catalan regional cabinet were jailed on November 2 pending trial on charges of sedition, rebellion and misappropriation of funds after the Catalan government declared independence from Spain.

DOJ Unseals Arrest Warrant for Jose Garcia Zarate

The Department of Justice unsealed an arrest warrant Friday for Jose Garcia Zarate for a supervised release violation.

The U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas unsealed the warrant after a San Francisco jury handed down a not guilty verdict to Zarate in the murder trial of Kate Steinle.

The decision came as a shock to many.

Zarate is an illegal immigrant and convicted felon who had been deported five times. In 2015, Zarate was released by the San Fransisco county jail, even though federal agents asked for him to be detained and eventually deported.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement Deputy Director Tom Homan said in a statement Thursday that he would be deported for a sixth time.

Germany: Asylum Seeker Sentenced After Trying to Pay Prostitute With Photocopied Cash

A 22-year-old asylum seeker has been given a suspended sentence after he attempted to pay a local prostitute with fake cash he had made on a photocopier.

The 22-year-old, who is said not to have a very firm grasp of German, attempted to buy the services of a prostitute at a brothel in the town of Sindelfingen. When he gave her cash, the prostitute noticed the bills were obvious fakes and alerted security who called the police, Stuttgarter Zeitung reports.

Investigators soon learned that the migrant had used a colour copy machine at the Magstadt asylum home where he volunteered doing janitorial work and had made 18 copies of a 50 euro note. They say the 22-year-old did a “sloppy job” on the fakes and were also able to locate scissors he had used to cut out the notes.

Illegal Alien Murderer Found Not Guilty

A beautiful young American daughter is dead because our southern borders are sieves. An absolutely obscene and abhorrent verdict has been rendered in the case of the illegal alien who murdered this lovely young woman. The perpetrator walks free, and a young American girl and her parents get no justice.

The San Francisco District Attorney’s Office argues that Garcia Zarate intentionally aimed a gun at Steinle and fired at her, before throwing the weapon into the bay and running away. The defense paints the shooting as a freak accident, arguing that the gun accidentally discharged and the bullet ricocheted on the concrete pier 78 feet before hitting Steinle.

The sanctuary city of San Francisco has found the illegal alien invader who murdered Kate Steinle, Jose Ines Garcia Zarate, not guilty. The system is broken. No more proof is needed.

Jose Ines Garcia Zarate had been deported five times and was wanted for a sixth deportation when Steinle was fatally shot in the back in 2015. He was protected from another deportation by San Francisco’s sanctuary policy restricting cooperation with federal immigration authorities…

Steinle’s 2015 death put San Francisco and its “sanctuary city” policy in the spotlight, as city officials got blowback for refusing to cooperate with federal deportation efforts.

The attorney for this illegal alien actually took a verbal shot at our President over this verdict. Unbelievable.

Kate Steinle’s Killer Acquitted, Sparking Shock, Outrage

Immediately following the announcement late Wednesday that Kate Steinle’s killer, an illegal immigrant going by the name of Garcia Zarate (he had many aliases), shown, was only going to be charged with felony possession of a handgun and not first-degree murder or even manslaughter, social media lit up. Cyrus Firth twittered: “Let’s get this straight … in San Francisco, can you: — come here illegally? YES; — Unlawfully obtain a gun? YES; — Kill an innocent girl? YES; — be found “not guilty” for all? YES. THIS IS WHAT A SANCTUARY CITY LOOKS LIKE.”

Italian MP Writes Book of Fables Celebrating Diversity

‘Room for everyone in the world’, presentation 1/12

(ANSA) — Rome, November 28 — The Italian MP Ileana Argentin has written a book of fables that aims to teach children about diversity.

Entitled ‘Fiabe Diverse’ (‘Different Fables’), the book tries to “teach today’s little men and little women to welcome everyone: males, females, the disabled, the blind and those of other colors and other economic classes”, Argentin said. She added that she is convinced that “tomorrow could be better, maybe”, but only if an awareness of the importance of diversity will be part of future adults’ behavior. “I have always lived in a situation of diversity compared with most of the people surrounding me,” the disabled lawmaker said. “They have mobility while I live immobile but happy to be part of this world.” “I do not want everyone to be the same. I think that being different from each other is in the nature of things and it enriches society,” she added. “My disability has not stopped me from enjoying my existence and I will never stop thanking my parents for having given me life, even though it is spent in a wheelchair.” During the presentation of the book, which will be held on December 1 at 11:30 in the Sala Stampa of the Chamber of deputies, well-known actors and singers will be reading parts of the fables. They “will enable me to show that being beautiful, thin, rich, young and powerful are not necessary conditions to live happily. What is necessary, instead, is the modest but firm conviction that there really is room for everyone.”

Protect the Flock With a Glock

Sitting ducks.

That is the way I described the recent church massacre in Texas.

“Like shooting fish in a barrel” one of my friends quipped.

I wish it was funny…but it is not.

It is time to admit that it is getting more and more dangerous to be a Christian in America today. In the nearly 20 years in which I have been fighting in the cultural war I have never seen the LEFT so unhinged. We will live to see the day where the White Anglo Saxon Christian becomes the most hated citizen in this land.

In fact, we already are. We just have failed to recognize it. For the most part our pastors and church leaders are oblivious to the god-hating army that is forming on the horizon. Despite what the LEFT preaches to everyone they are motivated by rage and their 40 year march against everything Christian is coming to a grizzly climax.

I wish I had better news for you, but this won’t be the last group of Christians to be mowed down by a member of the tolerance spewing hate-mongers on the left. The LEFT, despite their peacenik masquerade, still covet the thrones of society from where they can impose their diabolical agenda.

Why Can’t We Drain the Swamp?

One of the reasons we can’t drain the swamp is because we keep on filling it.

For instance: the Ontario Federation of Teachers has a real treat in store for elementary school children. They’re going to teach them a brand-new acronym that’s 14 letters long — LGGBDTTTIQQAAP. Each letter stands for a sexual aberration which the teachers think the kiddies ought to be conversant with. It’s all for the sake of “inclusion,” don’t you know. And you’d better be ready to affirm and celebrate each and every one of these, unless you want to risk being branded a Hater and having the local human rights tribunal send one of its witch-hunters to your door.

What we are talking about here is indoctrinating very young children into an ideology that declares any conceivable form of sexual activity morally acceptable — and then we are astonished and irate when they grow up to be swamp creatures. Really, what kind of shenanigans are they going to get up to, when, after a dozen years and more of being taught this stuff, they’re out on their own as adults?

Don’t bother to sneer at Canada, America. The same sort of thing is going on in our schools, albeit to a slightly less incredible extent.

Thank you so much for refusing to distinguish between all of these treacherous scumbags. All of these Ivy League spawn sold America down the river faster than any carpet-bagging huckster.

Even with two terms in front of him, rooting out the deep state will more-than-likely be well beyond Trump’s abilities or means. More’s the pity for indigenous Americans, especially the rapidly waning Middle Class.
