Jobs Report Rebounds After Hurricanes, Unemployment Rate Falls

Job growth bounced back in October after a slowdown in September that was driven by the impact of the hurricanes Irma and Harvey. Restaurants, bars, and hotels recorded the biggest rebounds.

The unemployment rate fell to 4.1%, its lowest level since 2000.

Wage growth was flat month-over-month. The average was dragged down by the number of lower-wage employees who returned to work after sheltering from the hurricanes.

Deep State: Follow the Rothschild, Soros, And Rockefeller Money

It may sound cliché, but there is a great deal of wisdom in the old saying about catching criminals: “Follow the money.” That advice applies as much to catching small-time petty thieves as it does to big-time global crime syndicates. And it is especially relevant when trying to understand the bureaucratic and intelligence community components of the “Deep State,” and more importantly, the “Deep State Behind the Deep State.” This shadowy network, which is barely concealed at this point, includes secret societies such as Skull and Bones and the Bohemian Grove, as well as less-secretive organizations such as the Council on Foreign Relations, the Trilateral Commission, and the Bilderbergmeetings. Money is key.

UNC IDs Chapel Hill Bomb Suspect; Man, Burned Professor Being Treated at Hospital

Police have identified the man who caused an explosive fire Thursday on the UNC campus as Joshua Daniel Edwards.

Edwards, 24, is in UNC Public Safety custody but has not been charged, police spokesman Randy Young said in an email Friday. Edwards, who was taken to UNC Hospitals for a mental evaluation, could face arson and other charges, he said.

UNC Public Safety took Edwards into custody shortly after an explosion scorched the landmark tree Davie Poplar on the UNC campus. UNC professor Dan Reichart suffered minor burns when a small detonation device exploded as he was attempting to kick dirt on the fire and put it out.

Reichart, who lives in Hillsborough, said Friday morning he could be at UNC Hospitals for a few days being treated for first- and second-degree burns to the face and arms.

He’s not in any pain but will have surgery today to apply an artificial biological membrane to help the skin underneath heal, he said. His doctor Bruce Cairns told him there shouldn’t be any scarring, he said.

Cairns, a burn trauma surgeon, leads the UNC Burn Center, “so I’m being taken care of by the best,” Reichart said.

Firefighters and police responded to the call near the Old Well at about 3:30 p.m. Thursday. UNC police are investigating the explosion, which shut down Cameron Avenue for several hours…

Headache for EU? Anti-Establishment Parties Eye Victory in Sicily

REGIONAL elections in Sicily could cause another headache for the EU as anti-establishment parties eye victory.

The right-wing anti-establishment 5-Star Movement is within touching distance of victory in the regional poll, seen as a barometer for 2018’s general election.

Centre-left parties allied to Italy’s former Prime Minister Mateo Renzi are expected to lose their majority after confidence in them fell to just 12 percent.

Sicily will then either be led by 5SM, or by a centre-right coalition backed by another former Italian Prime Minister, Silvio Berlusconi.

Mr Berlusconi’s candidate Nello Musumeci is currently leading polls, but the anti-establishment 5SM is close behind.

  1. On the Great Tech Panic : Interesting to note that technology is such advanced that robots are now able to almost replicate the Human Being – and I say almost. But, what happened to technology advancing aircraft design? We are still flying around in slow jet aircraft, the engines of which were ‘invented’ back in the 1930s, what has stalled the move into faster and cheaper aircraft design, and I don’t mean by using better jet engines whose design is fast approaching 100 years old.

So what exactly is being hidden from us?

    • Technology has advanced aircraft engine design; modern jet (and internal combustion) engines use relatively little fuel in proportion to air, which is why they can cover such great distances without refuelling.

Other than rockets (which have to carry all their combustible material), what power sources would you anticipate?

      • The Deep State’s Area 51 or what is now termed as Groom Lake would probably provide some of those answers Mark.

You may also wish to look up the Sirius Disclosure – Youtube – and watch 13 hours of factual presentations from retired Generals, Aerospace Scientists and other notable people who have worked with or have knowledge of forms of propulsion now in use, that to the uninitiated would be deemed science fiction.

Be warned though, you will need to have an open mind.

  2. I love how European imperialism is evil while Muslim imperialism is ignored or even celebrated.

As for air transport, look at how long the Concorde has been gone, largely because the airlines couldn’t make the budgets work. That was due to low volumes and unique engineering problems inherent in a Mach 2 airliner.

I’ve been on the Dreamliner, which is a bottom dollar tin can. The A380 is much better built and has the typical superior Airbus interior, but the experience is largely anesthetic, like flying on any other Airbus.
