Sheikh Nahjan Mubarak al Nahjan, the minister for tolerance in the United Arab Emirates, warned Germany that it was not doing adequate surveillance of its mosques. The sheikh said that not monitoring what imams say makes radicalization more likely in those mosques.

In other news, a coup is rumored to be underway in Zimbabwe as soldiers took over the state broadcasting facilities, explosions were heard in the capital, and tanks were seen on the streets.

4 Victims, Gunman Dead in Shooting Near Tehama County School

Children hospitalized after shooting northwest of Chico, officials say

TEHAMA COUNTY, Calif. (KCRA) — At least five people, including a gunman, were killed in a shooting Tuesday morning that started at a home and moved to an elementary school in Tehama County, the sheriff’s department said.

Multiple shots were fired about 8 a.m. at Rancho Tehama School on Stagecoach Road on the outskirts of Corning, northwest of Chico, Assistant Sheriff Phil Johnston said.

One student was shot and taken to a hospital, and a second child and a woman were also shot inside a truck, Johnston said.

Five people total — at least three children — were taken to Enloe Medical Center in Chico. Three of them have been treated and released, hospital officials said.

The extent of the victims’ injuries have not been released.

“I know that we have (airlifted) a number of students,” Johnston said. “I know that the school’s been cleared. I know that we have children that were attending school in a safe location at this time.”

The gunman was “randomly picking targets” as he fired shots at seven shooting scenes in the area, Johnston said. It began as a domestic violence incident on Bobcat Lane that was reported by neighbors.

Democrats Concerned Trump Too ‘Unstable’ To be Trusted With Nukes

Congressional lawmakers raised concerns about President Donald Trump’s ability to use nuclear weapons during a hearing Capitol Hill Tuesday amid bipartisan anxiety over launch process procedures and indications that the administration has considered the option of a first strike on North Korea.

Members of the Senate foreign affairs committee called into question a decades-old presidential authority to deploy nuclear weapons in what was the first congressional hearing on nuclear authorization in decades.

“We are concerned that the President of the United States is so unstable, is so volatile, has a decision-making process that is so quixotic that he might order a nuclear weapons strike that is wildly out of step with US national security interests,” said Sen. Chris Murphy, D-Connecticut.

Sen. Ed Markey, a Democrat from Massachusetts, echoed those concerns: “Many Americans fear that the President’s words could turn into nuclear reality.”

Gingrich: Hillary Clinton Has a 40-Year History of Breaking the Law, Enriching Herself & Lying About it

A number of Republican lawmakers are calling on Attorney General Jeff Sessions to appoint a special counsel to investigate Hillary Clinton, Fusion GPS, the Clinton Foundation and the Obama-era Uranium One deal.

“It’s time for Jeff Sessions to name a special counsel and get answers for the American people. If not, he should step down,” Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) wrote in an op-ed on FoxNews.com.

On “Fox & Friends,” Newt Gingrich said Clinton has been getting away with unethical, and often illegal, behavior since she first entered public life.

He pointed out that Clinton used insider trading information to turn $1,000 into nearly $100,000 in 10 months during her first attempt at trading commodities — mainly cattle futures — in the late 1970s.

In Asia, Trump Slams “Trade” Deals That Surrender Sovereignty

On his Asia trip, President Donald Trump slammed the globalist vision of multilateral pseudo-”free trade” regimes such as the Trans-Pacific Partnership that, he said, subvert national sovereignty, freedom, and self-government. No more multinational “trade” schemes that “tie our hands” or “surrender our sovereignty” will be made, the president pledged. Instead of the European Union-style transnational regimes favored by the globalist establishment — regimes with international bureaucracies and even courts beyond the reach of citizens or elected lawmakers — Trump advocated for a world of simpler, bilateral deals between two governments at a time. He also slammed the controversial World Trade Organization (WTO).

France Now Keeping Tabs on 18,000 Radicalized Individuals

French intelligence chiefs have revealed that a list of individuals considered radicalized and potentially violent now numbers 18,000. Some 4,000 of the most dangerous are under close surveillance.

The head of France’s internal intelligence services the DGSI released the figures to highlight that despite terror group Isis facing defeat in the Middle East the danger of homegrown terrorism in France remains high.

Laurent Nunez told RTL radio that the names of 18,000 individuals are on a list of people flagged up for being radicalized towards violence — a steep rise on the number a year ago when it stood at 15,000.

France’s various intelligence agencies are keeping tabs on those 18,000 names on the FSTRP list (Fichier des signalements pour la prévention de la radicalisation à caractère terrorist).

Gulf Minister Warns Germany to Keep Better Control Over Its Mosques

Sheikh Nahjan Mubarak al Nahjan, the minister for tolerance in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), has said that inadequate surveillance of mosques has led to Islamist terrorism in Germany.

“You can’t just leave a mosque open and allow anyone to go there and to preach. You need to have licences,” said al Nahjan in an interview with DPA.

He added that the problem existed in Germany, France and the United Kingdom, arguing that Muslims were becoming radicalized in mosques where the authorities were not exerting strong enough control.

“We have always offered our help, we have always said we would train people,” said al Nahjan, adding that no European country had ever accepted the offer.

In the authoritarian UAE, mosques are comprehensively controlled by the authorities. The tiny oil-rich Gulf state claims that the extensive powers it has given to its secret services have allowed it to prevent terror attacks by radical organizations such as Isis.

How Nazis Courted the Islamic World During WWII

Tens of thousands of Muslims fought for the Nazis in World War Two. DW spoke with historian David Motadel about whether pragmatism or anti-Semitism drove Adolf Hitler’s overtures and why some Muslim leaders backed him.

Nazi policies towards Islam were informed by pragmatism. Some leading Nazis, particularly Adolf Hitler and Heinrich Himmler, repeatedly expressed their respect for Islam. Whenever denouncing the Catholic Church, Hitler routinely contrasted it with Islam. While he denounced Catholicism as a weak, effeminate religion, he praised Islam as a strong, aggressive, martial religion. Overall, however, it was strategic considerations, not ideology, that led to Nazi Germany’s campaign for Islamic mobilization.

Muslims everywhere, it was clear to every German officer, were to be treated as allies.

Is Saudi Arabia’s Mohammed Bin Salman Getting Ready to Lead a Revolution From Above?

Change usually comes slowly, if at all, in Saudi Arabia. But its ruling elite have been wracked by a sudden, stunning shakeup in recent days.

Two weeks ago, King Salman announced the formation of an anti-corruption commission. By Monday, 11 Saudi princes, several business tycoons and at least 38 former or current government officials were reportedly under house arrest.

The driving force behind the surprise purge is King Salman’s favorite son, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. An ambitious young man in a hurry, Crown Prince Mohammed has spearheaded rapid changes in the political, economic and social spheres.

The 32-year-old—often referred to by his initials, MBS—has elbowed aside rival princes, reshuffled the royal pecking order, and moved ruthlessly to consolidate his own power. Now he heads the anticorruption commission, a new role that gives him tremendous leverage to further shake up the Saudi political and business elite, while reshaping Saudi Arabia’s future.

Rumours of Zimbabwe Coup as Soldiers Take Over State Broadcaster and Explosions Heard in Capital

The rare appearance of armoured vehicles outside Harare came a day after the head of the armed forces vowed to ‘step in’ to stop a political purge

Several loud explosions echoed across central Harare in the early hours of Wednesday after troops deployed on the streets of the capital and reportedly seized the state broadcaster.

The developments in the Zimbabwe capital fuelled speculation that a coup was under way against president Robert Mugabe, after the head of the armed forces threatened to “step in” over the sacking of an influential vice president.

Zimbabwe’s ruling party accused General Constantine Chiwenga of treason over his comments, after the rare appearance of the military vehicles in Harare.

Armed soldiers were assaulting passers-by in the early morning hours in Harare, according to the Associated Press, while soldiers were seen loading ammunition near a group of four military vehicles.

Aggressive soldiers told passing cars to keep moving through the darkness. “Don’t try anything funny. Just go,” one told a Reuters reporter on Harare Drive…

30,000 “Diversity” Visas Issued to People From Jihad Terror-Sponsoring Countries Since 2007

The United States issued nearly 30,000 visas to people from nations officially designated as sponsors of terrorism over the last decade through the Diversity Visa “lottery” program, the White House said Monday.

According to State Department statistics, since 2007, the U.S. has admitted 20,739 individuals from Iran; 7,232 from Sudan, and 812 from Syria through the Visa Lottery program —Iran, Sudan and Syria are currently the only countries designated by the State Department as “state sponsors of terrorism.”

The program offers a lottery for up to 50,000 immigrant visas annually, “drawn from random selection among all entries to individuals who are from countries with low rates of immigration” to the U.S., according to U.S. Citizen and Immigration Services.

Hungary PM: ‘United States of Europe’ Plotters Using Mass Migration to Create ‘Post-National, Post-Christian’ Super-State

Hungary’s Viktor Orbán has warned that the elites plotting a United States of Europe are using mass migration to engineer a post-Christian, post-national super-state.

Breitbart London has seen a transcript of the Central European leader’s speech to the 7th Plenary Session of the Hungarian Diaspora Council, in which he told listeners: “A nation that has found its feet is a free nation. It is fair to say that since we found our feet we have begun to act as a free nation.

“But this has also brought with it some problems. Whatever a nation of serfs does will seldom lead to international conflict, but this is not the case with a free nation.”

The prime minister was referring to his country’s ongoing struggle with the European Union over whether or not it should be allowed to impose compulsory migrant quotas, and over Hungary’s decision to face its demographic challenges through policies supporting the family, rather than “seeking to build their future demographic and labour policies on immigrants” — like much of Northern and Western Europe.

The measures also foresee a resettlement programme for about 50,000 vulnerable refugees and migrants in a third country and procedures for the voluntary return of migrants.

22 thoughts on “Gates of Vienna News Feed 11/14/2017

  1. The State monitoring a sermon for incendiary rhetoric? The precedent will allow the State to monitor sermons for political correctness and adherence to the party line, or maybe that is happening already under the Johnson Amendment.

    • I get your point, but one needs to remember that Islam is NOT a religion, but a supremacist ideology akin to National Socialism/Communism/Fascism, that needs monitoring if permitted to preach their violent intolerance.

Apart from the above, there is no religion that I know of that preaches violence as its basis and that needs to be monitored.

    • Well that is what states do: They locked up Hitler for incendiary rhetoric too, they even shot the Nazis marching through streets, before the Nazis came to power. Ever since “democracy”, the governments are aware of the dangers for the government, but they usually fail to grasp the big picture, because governments tend to get overfilled with stupid carreer people.

Hitler and the Nazis became stronger, after the state started to jail them and shoot them. The Muslims also, are getting stronger, by persecution of the muslims. All the while the Christian Church fell asleep singing and dancing on politically correct lines, not realising that Jesus Christ was quite politically incorrect rebel. Rebel from the worldly evils, that is, and as such he attracted the worldly evil to retaliate.

But as you probably know: “It is impossible but that offences will come: but woe unto him, through whom they come!” This applies to the government minions as well.

  2. Helicopters over the Mandalay Bay massacre? The evidence appears to be there, so whose choppers and why were they there?

And muzzle flashes are definitely not strobe lights.

    • You are headed into conspiracy world there, so very careful on how and where you assign any verification. Here are some loose ends :
Paddock is strongly suggested as arms/people trafficker.
Topfloors Mandalay Saudi owned, whole top floor booked out.
Tropicana was not MBS, possibly Saudi royalty.
      Other better known contradictory evidence.

Theorists have suggested pre-coup Saudi royalty attempt gone wrong, etc.

I don’t know, only that that there is coverup. To what degree coverup, and of what…I don’t know.

      Addressing the choppers is

      https://m.facebook.com/DavidZublick/posts/1482597258442154

Conspiracist, yes, but he also is sharp on various details.

      • Well, the Mandalay Bay massacre was a conspiracy carried out by at least one dead person that we can verify, but was an action that would require many more operatives to be involved in some degree, and I say that from my own military/policing background because one person could not have done what was done to all those people without assistance from others.

IMO, a mission impossible for one person, so therefore an action that to be carried out successfully had to become a conspiracy between a number of people.

And the planning and logistics of that massacre alone screams out conspiracy!

          • Welcome, better ones posted below. I don’t know enough to say he could not have acted alone, but I find it (very) unlikely. What is more, the investigative transparency needed to alay doubts just is not there, the whole presentation seems pre-concluded, designed to point to one answer instead of examining possibilities.

          • That seems to be the modus operandi today of those who do these things – it is either because what they do has not been planned well enough or they just don’t care for the aftermath of what they do because someone else is handed that problem.

I noted that in every ‘media presentation’ given by the Las Vegas Sheriff he had an FBI shadow who seemed very intent to me, on making sure the Sheriff stuck with the ‘agreed narrative’.

IMO, the Sheriff in most of those presentations appeared nervous, like there was a dagger pressed hard against his spine and a pair of eyes drilling into his thoughts.

Be interesting to have a couple of quiet beers with that Sheriff, and well away from the hustle and bustle of course, and that determined FBI agent.

        • Do you have any credible links to the assertions here? Not being snarky, I feel the same misapprehensions you do. But this is THE strangest mass murder I’ve ever seen. Will this be another JFK conspiracy shoved under the rug?

These casino owners are tough guyz. They tolerated the id’d perp because he was a big spender. And none of them, not just the Mandalay owners would have wanted to cut into Las Vegas’ bottom line. They’ve had many cancellations.

Can you show precisely why it wasn’t feasible with that gun bump? Anyone know anything about its ability to spit out a higher number of rounds?

          Lastly, cui bono?

          • I’ll chip in what has me doubtful. One main point is that there does not seem to be official interest in evidence provided ( new available video evidence was not perquesitioned for example). We are not being shown there is active investigation per new leads or theories, we are not having surrounding circumstance explained ( why have the chopper pilots/company not been called to testify for example) . You have a massacre and all that gets published is an official narrative, point. That is not credible in this day and age.

Here is another link that needs refuting

            https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Aw0D9pr7HHw&feature=youtu.be

Another main point is the official timeline and narrative to do with the security guard, entry to the apartment, and the way it seems “muffled” with direct evidence denied/seemingly prepared.

I just looked for a clear round count from the web, cannot find one. Some of the high fire rate might be echoes, but the above clip gives a sound wave with chopper present that points to different power rifle.I think it possible that Paddock alone might have been capable, but there are many doubts, from stamina to being able to tolerate a fumed up room, to motive ( planned, not just freaked rage) etc.

The reason I say it is not likely that the narrative will change is that as time goes by it gets harder to piece together or pursue leads, and for officialdom there is no great incentive to do other than provide a neat closed case. If it were an agency involved then I think few would cross the orders coming through also, usable evidence would be dissapeared .

I don’t think we will really get to know the whole story… unless you accept the official one.

          • Dymphna, in answer to your last question, it is The Deep State and its supporters who benefit from actions such as Mandalay Bay.

Why do they benefit if their planned actions are successful? I guess if you look at how the Clintons have made their money, that would give you a fair insight into how the Deep State operates – after all, the Clintons are part of it.

Those who carried out this attack may have also worked with ISIS in the middle east – that is conjecture on my part, but would explain and alleviate the problem of resistance with ‘Americans’ shooting at their own and why ISIS claimed responsibility for the attack.

It seems that this operation was not as successful as planned in that the numbers killed were well below what was expected. Why do I think this? Well there was also an attack carried out at the Tropicana Hotel at the same time, and according to sources, was quickly dealt with by local police. That incident had minimum casualties that the MSM is not reporting on.

One of the Saudi Princes recently arrested and now under ‘house arrest’ and who is known to have close ties to the Clintons etc, etc, owns the top floors of the Mandalay Bay Hotel – his name eludes me, but he was the highest flyer of all those Saudis recently arrested and had his fingers and his dirty oil money in lots of pies.

That alone should have rung alarm bells throughout the media – but not a peep!

IMO, this massacre was supposed to be an ISIS attack akin to 9/11, but it was apparently thwarted and interesting to note, that soon after Jared Kushner’s ‘visit’ to Saudi Arabia all those Princes were arrested, and I do not think that action was a coincidence.

      • Better link to the flight information

        https://www.intellihub.com/vegas-flight-records-reveal-air-assault-extraction-possible/

Plus there are other facts that raise questions

        http://www.thedailysheeple.com/the-vegas-plot-thickens-the-connection-between-the-shooter-and-an-intelligence-agency_102017

Though I don’t expect there will be any decisive information that will change the official narrative that will emerge now. It could even be conjectured that the way the reporting was handled was/is to purposefully sow doubt and distraction. Who knows really.

        • A large cache of American weapons and materiel were ‘uncovered’ in Syria yesterday – see Sputnik News for that story – and IMO, points to Deep State connections and the alleged extraction of at least 20 ISIS top fighters from Iraq around three months ago – again, another Sputnik News story.

So, where did those ISIS fighters end up?

  3. “The cave lion cub, which froze between 20,000 and 50,000 years ago…”

20-50 thousand years, yea right, what is the margin of error in that? Yeah, did you hear that they have found a dinosaur DNA, some 100,000,000 years old? What a tough little molecule, the DNA. Or maybe it is not as tough, but someone got the dating wrong?

I know, it’s impossible, everybody knows that the world is between one million and a dozen billion years old, and came about by an accident.

    • I have never seen a well designed accident.
And here is another one, what if the speed of light is not a constant but is actually slowing down, at the rate of the inverse of the co-secant? That would throw all the dating off and make 1,000 years as a day.

    • Archeology is a closed club. If an ‘honest’ Archeologist decides to go public with what he or she finds, and the find generally refutes what the ‘Club’ will permit, then they will never gain another grant to continue their work as some have found out the hard way.

The best Archeologists are those who do not rely on those constraining grants, and you will find them on some youtube sites, They give a whole new scenario to what we have had shoved down own necks for the past 100 years.

  4. The only Muslim countries that are semi-livable are so because they control the spread of radical Islam by the use of police state tactics.

That says a lot, doesn’t it?

    • Yup.

See Morocco, which has been a lib vacation hotspot for several years.

Having spent a few years in the region, I was deeply amused by the Moroccan secret bases shown in recent James Bond and Mission Impossible films.

In reality, Spectre would give up in frustration at the impossibility of building anything that sophisticated in this locale.
