Cops Bust Armed Thief After Shoppers Stabbed at Mall of America

A would-be thief knifed two shoppers he tried to rob inside a Macy’s dressing room at Minnesota’s Mall of America, according to police.

The first victim walked in on Mahad Abdirahman pilfering his belongings in the men’s department Sunday evening, when the suspect pulled out a blade, cops said.

Bloomington Police Chief Jeff Potts said a family member rushed in to help and was stabbed during the struggle at the retail chain. Their injuries are not life-threatening.

The wounded victims managed to disarm Abdirahman and keep him down until police arrived for the arrest, within two minutes of the initial 911 call.

The Star Tribune reports one of the victims was stabbed repeatedly, while the other was pierced in the back…

News Nanny: The Race to Censor Internet News

By Daniel Greenfield

How can you tell that Internet censorship is really taking off? Easy. It’s becoming a business model.

Steven Brill is raising $6 million to launch News Guard. This new service will rate news sites on their trustworthiness from green to red. Forget politically unbiased algorithms. The ratings will be conducted by “qualified, accountable human beings” from teams of “40 to 60 journalists.” Once upon a time, journalism meant original writing. Now it means deciding which original writing to censor. Can trust be monetized?

“Can trust be monetized?” The Street’s article on News Guard asks. But it isn’t really trust that’s being monetized. It’s censorship. It’s doing the dirty work that Google and Facebook don’t want to do…..

Not only does the roster of fact checkers lean to the left, but so do its notions of what’s true and false. For example, Snopes and Politifact both insist that General Pershing’s forces never buried the bodies of Muslim terrorists with pigs. But General Pershing specifically stated in his autobiography, “These Juramentado attacks were materially reduced in number by a practice that the Mohamedans held in abhorrence. The bodies were publicly buried in the same grave with a dead pig.” Politifact and Snopes are entitled to their incorrect opinions.

Both the New York Times and the Scientific American reported on it at the time. Despite that Snopes rated this widely accepted historical fact as “False” and Politifact marked it as “Pants on Fire.”

Snopes also recently marked a story that Christ Church in Virginia is removing a George Washington plaque as false even though the church publicly announced that it was doing so.

Politifact and Snopes are entitled to their incorrect opinions. The trouble is that they don’t extend the same privilege to those they disagree with. And Google and Facebook promote fake fact checks while burying sites that discuss actual historical facts. The big Internet companies don’t want to get involved in all these arguments. But nor are they willing to let their users decide for themselves anymore.

And so Net Nanny for news has become an actual business model. Instead of protecting children from pornography, News Nanny protects adults from news. And from views outside the left’s bubble.

Italy: Woman Expelled After Contacting ISIS for Attack

22-year-old Egyptian ready for suicide mission

(ANSA) — Milan, November 13 — A 22-year-old Egyptian woman who allegedly contacted an ISIS member expressed her willingness to carry out a suicide attack in Italy has been expelled from the country via an order from Interior Minister Marco Minniti, sources said Monday. Italy: VatiLeaks Author Pens Book on ‘Choirboy Abuse’

Alleges multiple cases at San Pio X preseminary

(ANSA) — Rome, November 9 — Vatileaks author Gianluigi Nuzzi has written a new book on Vatican secrets, Peccato Originale (Original Sin) on alleged sexual abuse of choirboys.

Nuzzi, whose earlier tomes Your Holiness and Via Crucis saw him tried and acquitted in the Vatileaks 1 and 2 trials, reveals more alleged financial chicanery and background to the Manuela Orlandi disappearance.

But his main focus is on alleged sex abuse in the San Pio X preseminary, where dioceses send middle-school boys aspiring to become priests, who serve as choirboys in St Peter’s.

An ex-choirboy delivered a letter to Pope Francis in May, Nuzzi recounts.

But the first person to reveal abuses was Polish Kamil Tadeusz Jarzembowski, who entered the San Pio X at the age of 13, and in June 2014 sent various complaints to Church authorities.

He said he had witnessed at least 140 “sexual acts” on his underage roommate by an unidentified adult who later became a priest. The man had free access to the preseminary, was “well liked by various monsignori” and “able to exert a form of power and intimidation over the youngest seminarians”.

Kamil reported the alleged abuse to various high-ranking cardinals, Nuzzi says, but no action was taken.

He then turned to the Secretariat of State and the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, which handles abuse cases, also without any results, except for being expelled from the seminary, Nuzzi says.

Kamil is quoted as saying “there’s only politics and power, with these people who say Mass in the morning and in the evening go to Mucca Assassina”, a well-known gay disco. Presenting the book, Nuzzi said he had sent a copy to the Vatican’s promoter of justice, Gian Pietro Milano. Nuzzi is the aurthor of four books in all.

His first, Vaticano SpA (Vatican Ltd), also delved into alleged financial wrongdoing.

Italy: We Want Ius Soli But Without Creating Probs — Renzi

Won’t be bargaining chip for MDP deal, says PD leader

(ANSA) — Rome, November 13 — Democratic Party (PD) leader Matteo Renzi said Monday that the centre-left group remained committed to the ius soli bill to grant citizenship to the children of migrants born in Italy. But he added that it would only be passed if it did not caused a crisis for the government and would not be the bargaining chip for a deal for an alliance with the MDP. “We are not doing the ius soli bill to reach an agreement with the MDP. We are doing it because a right is a right, without exchanging it for a coalition agreement,” Renzi said, according to sources. “We’ll try to pass it, without causing problems for the ordered end of the parliamentary term, respecting what the government and the coalition want to to.

“We don’t think it’s an issue to do a deal one”.

  1. I am pretty sure the Somali did not want steal, he just wanted to take, what as supreme lord of the land belongs to him: whatever he wants, the dirty kufir should just hand it over. I am sure all muslim organization will be up in arms, to help their brethren.

  2. Swedes are quick to shoot a white elk for charging at someone who attempted to get close to it, while giving free housing and driver’s licenses to bestial Africans and Middle Easterners who traveled to Syria to cut off peoples heads and rape and torture innocents?

I suppose the color of the perpetrator has much to do with the relative decisions…

  3. Affirmative Action dooms Sweden’s white elk. It’s only hope is gender re-assignment surgery with added complaints of Stockholm Syndrome!

  4. Not my idea, but too good not to share –

Scandinavians and NW Europeans are the human equivalent of dodo birds.

  5. “Criticism of Islam is not a problem, but when it is used as a veil to conceal hatred towards Muslims, it is a problem,” explained Versi.

    Duh…..

    http://www.middleeasteye.net/news/islamophobia-britain-s-latest-bigotry-blind-spot-says-baroness-warsi-report-launch-65452518

Runnymede proposed in its report that the government adopt their definition, the short version of which is: “Islamophobia is anti-Muslim racism”.

But no one fears Islam, it is fear of those that practice Islam, for the reasons that people do. Those that practice Islam are not a race, they are a sect, and so those that discriminate by sect, whether right or wrong, are being sectist, practicing sectism, or anti-sectism if you prefer. So if you turn it around this way, the “racists” are really “sectists”, and as the first to form discrimination based on sect are the actual sect themselves ( infidels are condemned for example) , then that sect is practicing sectism, or “racism” per the attempted definition in the article. So us “racists” are actually the “anti-racist” in this case. Feel good for it.
