Police in Paris discovered a bomb-making factory inside a suburban apartment. Among the ingredients found at the scene were sulfuric acid and acetone, as well as various pieces of equipment. The incident had nothing to do with Islam.
In other news, police and firemen rushed to a post office in East Chicago this evening after one or more pipe bombs were detonated in the building. One person was reportedly injured in the explosion.

Another Former Occupy Progressive Caught Staging a “White Nationalist” Rally
One of the most visible white nationalists at the recent Fort Sanders Confederate monument demonstration was, until until a few years ago, active in communist organizations, the Occupy movement and protests against racism.
Garon Archer, a native of Johnson City, was the protester on Aug. 26 who repeatedly screamed, “The Southern nation is a white nation.”
He said he came to last Saturday’s demonstration to represent the League of the South, an Alabama-based white supremacist group that has said it considers mainstream U.S. culture “corrupt” and is rebelling against the “politically correct” and multicultural diversity in the South.
Two weeks earlier, Archer was visible in “Democracy Now!” footage of the “Unite the Right” rally in Charlottesville, Virginia. Clad in a baseball helmet and holding a shield, he attacked a counter-protester. At a similar rally in New Orleans, he was recorded screaming racial slurs at a black woman.

Fire Chief: East Chicago Fire Crews on Scene of Explosion; Report of Pipe Bombs Found
EAST CHICAGO — Firefighter crews are on the scene of an explosion at the city’s post office at 901 E. Chicago Ave., according to the city’s fire chief, Anthony Serna.
The department received the call of a possible explosion around 6 p.m., Serna said. He could not say if anyone was in the building at the time.
A fire official at the scene told The Times that they have found what they believe to be two pipe bombs and that at least one person is injured. The official also stated that members from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives were en route.
A large portion of Chicago Avenue has been closed to traffic.

Hurricane Irma: If There Was Such a Thing as a Category 6 Hurricane, This Would Be It
Hurricane Irma has become even stronger than the most extreme forecasts were projecting. According to the National Hurricane Center, Irma had sustained winds of 185 miles per hour at one point on Tuesday. That makes it the strongest Atlantic hurricane in history “outside the Gulf of Mexico and Caribbean”. I was criticized for suggesting that Irma could become so powerful that it could potentially be labeled a “category 6” storm if such a thing existed. Well, now it has actually happened. If you extrapolate the Saffir-Simpson scale, “category 6” would begin at 158 knots, which would be 181.8 miles per hour. Since Irma has surpassed that mark, I believe that it is entirely reasonable if people want to refer to it as a “category 6” storm.
Of course some meteorologists will get very heated with you when you use the term “category 6” because no such category exists at this point.
But we need some way to describe an Atlantic hurricane with sustained winds of 185 miles per hour. “Category 5” simply does not do such a storm justice, and yes, Hurricane Irma is the type of storm that could wipe entire cities off the map if it came ashore at this power.
We don’t know where this immensely powerful storm will make landfall in the U.S. yet, but you don’t want to be there when it does. I don’t want to freak people out, but the truth is that the best thing you can do is to get as far away from this storm as you can.
Just remember what happened in Houston. The people were told not to evacuate, and that turned out to be an absolutely disastrous decision.
This is not just another storm. This is a history making event, and if Irma slams directly into one of our major cities as a category 5 storm, it could potentially make Hurricane Harvey look like a Sunday picnic. The following are some of the key things that you need to know about Hurricane Irma…

Sincere Hurricane Harvey Volunteers Stopped From Helping Victims by Police
Two Illinois men were stopped from handing out supplies to victims of Hurricane Harvey’s wrath. While in massive buggies, law enforcement officials in Vidor, Texas told Jared Kirkendoll and Scott Green, who had driven 16 hours to Texas to help those devastated by Harvey’s destruction, that those affected had enough help already.
Taking the decision of whether or not they needed help away from the victims of the hurricane, the police stopped the buggy driven by Kirkendoll and Green and demanded that the men cease helping. The cop can be heard telling them to leave.
When the officer asks Kirkendoll to get down off the buggy, the reasoning is because “I said so.” According to the Daily Mail, the two men were handing out water and supplies and taking victims to higher and dryer ground when they were stopped by police.
A video posted on Facebook and YouTube shows a two-minute exchange between Kirkendoll and the officer when they were ordered to leave.

Utah County: Man, Stabbed by Brother, in Critical Condition
Utah County sheriff’s deputies took a 16-year-old Eagle Mountain boy into custody after he stabbed his older brother, purportedly to stop him from assaulting their 14-year-old sister during an argument.
Sheriff’s Sgt. Spencer Cannon said deputies responded to a 911 call about 3:20 p.m. Tuesday at the teen’s home, near Parkers Place and Cattle Drive in Eagle Mountain. They found the 18-year-old victim in critical condition from five stab wounds to his arm, chest and upper back.
The victim was flown by medical helicopter to Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, where doctors stabilized his condition. The man was expected to recover, Cannon said.
The 16-year-old was booked into the Slate Canyon Youth Detention in Provo on one second-degree felony count of aggravated assault.
His 18-year-old sibling, meanwhile, faces a class A misdemeanor child abuse charge, Cannon said.

Catalonia Parliament Approves Independence Referendum

Around 80 Finnish citizens have travelled to the Middle East to fight for Islamic State, and now the government is considering allowing those who return to skip housing queues to help them ‘reintegrate’ into society.
Finland’s Interior Ministry has also called on local governments to support returning Islamic State militants in getting jobs, Ilta-Sanomat reports.
The newspaper noted that the proposal was highly controversial and could even lead to returning jihadists committing violence, including terrorism, in Finland. The ministry acknowledged the problem but said that it was up to social workers to consider the practicalities.

ISIS: Poison the Food in Supermarkets!
The Islamic State (ISIS) now sends out calls to its supporters in the West to poison the food in supermarkets with cyanide.
It is the SITE Intel Group that informs this in a message, which is referenced, among others, by the Italian news agency ANSA:
– Over the last few hours, IS’s channels have posted calls for attacks on Europe, Russia and the United States, on the occasion of the Islamic “Sacrifice Feast” Eid al Adha.
In the third part of an English-language series promoting lone-wolf jihad in Western countries, potential attackers are advised to inject food for sale in markets with cyanide poison.
The terrorist organization has prepared for this and used prisoners for experiments with different chemicals and toxins, with very painful deaths as a result, The Times and Newsweek wrote in May:
The Islamic State group used prisoners as “human guinea pigs,” carrying out chemical weapons experiments in order to plan for attacks against the West, documents found in Mosul have revealed. The papers detailing the tests, which led to the agonizing deaths of prisoners, were discovered at Mosul University in January when it was recaptured by Iraqi special forces. The documents verified by United States and British forces were detailed by The Times in a report published Saturday.
Prisoners had their food and water contaminated by the sprinkling of chemicals found in easily accessible pesticides. The U.S. and Britain now fear that the same methods could be used on a larger scale to contaminate food supplies in the West.

French FM in Libya to support Serraj-Haftar accord
(ANSAmed) — FLORENCE, SEPTEMBER 5 — Italy’s military commitment in Libya “is going ahead and proceeding well”, Defence Minister Roberta Pinotti said on the sidelines of a debate at the Festa dell’Unita in Florence on Monday. “We are training the Libyan coastguard in the European mission, then there is another Italian mission involving intervention with respect to Libyan navy vessels that are no longer usable to restore them to use,” Pinotti said.
This second mission is in response to a “specific request” from Libya, she added.
“Italy has aready reactivated a navy ship and we are reactivating a second: there is an atmosphere of excellent cooperation,” the minister said. Meanwhile French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian travelled to Libya on Monday to support implementation of the commitments made by the head of the Libyan unity government Fayez Serraj and the national army commander Khalifa Haftar at a summit near Paris at the end of July to respect the ceasefire and work together to organise elections “as soon as possible”. The agreement sponsored by the French President Emmanuel Macron does not however include the other Libyan factions and many western countries including Italy have insisted on the need for a broader mechanism under the auspices of the UN.

Newsweek Claims Russia Orchestrated Boston Marathon Bombing
Online publication Newsweek upped the ante in explosive rhetoric Sunday by suggesting the Tsarnaev brothers, responsible for the 2013 Boston Marathon terror attack, were operating on behalf of Moscow — even though Russian security agencies tipped off the FBI and CIA that Tamerlan Tsarnaev and his mother presented imminent security risks.
Since evidence is apparently optional for arguments published by Newsweek, this time, an author featured in the publication seems to have looked out onto the world, found it bloody and complicated, and decided to pin any old recent disaster on Russia.
The United Kingdom’s Brexit vote, the Syrian refugee crisis in Europe and the rise of right-leaning politicians can all be traced back to one single, remarkably effective cause: Moscow. “Russia must accept a share of responsibility” in all of these events, Andrei Kovalev wrote in a September 3 op-ed for Newsweek.

Mountain could implode and spew radiation over entire region
A total of at least six nuclear device tests have reportedly taken place in North Korea and Chinese seismologists have been able to pinpoint their locations to within 100 meters.
It turns out that all of the tests occurred under the same mountain and scientists are now warning that it could implode, leaving a massive hole that would leak deadly radiation across the entire region, including China:…
If the results are accurate, then there has already been a partial implosion of the mountain, though the radiation released during recent nuclear tests remains contained. At least we think it is still contained.
With North Korea planning even more tests, China has reason to be worried. As we’ve seen with Fukushima, radiation could force long-term evacuations of thousands of square miles and cause deadly consequences for people living downwind of any potential leak.
The theory sounds reasonable. And whether or not its true, it certainly gives China a solid position from which to negotiate North Korea’s nuclear disarmament.

2,139 DACA Recipients Convicted or Accused of Crimes Against Americans
More than 800,000 un-vetted young illegal aliens have been given protected status and work permits
As Attorney General Jeff Sessions announced the end of the Obama-created Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA), from which more than 800,000 un-vetted young illegal aliens have been given protected status and work permits, the number of them who are convicted criminals, gang members, or suspects in crimes remains staggering.
Below, Breitbart News has compiled a list of 50 of the 2,139 DACA recipients, deemed “DREAMers” by the open borders lobby, who have had their temporary protected status revoked due to crimes including: “A felony criminal conviction; a significant misdemeanor conviction; multiple misdemeanor convictions; gang affiliation; or arrest of any crime in which there is deemed to be a public safety concern,” according to the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) agency.
The majority of crimes by DACA recipients include: “Alien smuggling, assaultive offenses, domestic violence, drug offenses, DUI, larceny and thefts, criminal trespass and burglary, sexual offenses with minors, other sex offenses and weapons offenses,” USCIS has stated.

81% Drop in August Migrant Arrivals in Italy — EU
Year-on-year, down by 66% on July says Dimitris Avramopoulos
(ANSA) — Brussels, September 6 — European Migration and Home Affairs Commissioner Dimitris Avramopoulos said Wednesday that “there was an 81% fall in (migrant arrivals) in Italy in August with respect to the same month last year”. He added that “there was a 66% fall with respect to July”.
The huge wave of asylum seekers coming to Italy from North Africa has slowed after Rome launched a mission to support the Libyan coast guard and implemented a code of conduct on NGOs conducting migrant rescues at sea in the southern Mediterranean.
Interior Minister Marco Minniti said Tuesday that it was too soon to say whether the reduction in the number of migrants would last. “We are witnessing a significant reduction in the migrant arrivals but it’s a little soon to say whether the drop is structural,” Minniti told an event organized by artisans association Confartigianato. He also admitted that “I don’t know if I exaggerated” when he said the migrant crisis was putting Italian democracy in peril.

The trial of Afghani asylum seeker Hussein K., the suspected murderer of German student Maria Ladenburger, has begun with Hussein admitting that he is actually an adult, not a minor.

What is the best way to shut down the debate on immigration? By heightening the language to levels impossible to be debated. That is what has been happening in the new — and false — trend of comparing the waves of migrants arriving in Europe to Jews during the Holocaust.
Recently, Franco Berardi, the Italian author of a play in Germany, “Auschwitz on the Beach”, charged Europeans with setting up “concentration camps” on its territory. One line in the performance was, “Salt water has replaced Zyklon B” — a reference to the poison gas used by the Nazis in World War II to exterminate Jews. After protests from the Jewish community, the play was cancelled. Adam Szymczyk, the director of the Documenta exhibition, defined the show as a “warning against historical amnesia, a moral wake-up call, a call to collective action”. This response, while true for the mass-murder of Jews, is a grotesque distortion of what has been happening in Europe for the last three years. On the contrary, governments, non-governmental organizations, bureaucrats, charities and the media have all embraced migrants in the millions, and welcomed them with open arms.

Migrant Crisis — ECJ Rejects Hungary and Slovakia’s Claim Against Refugee Quotas
EURO judges have this morning rejected a joint claim brought by Hungary and Slovakia attempting to get the EU’s centralised migrant quota scheme scrapped.
The European Court of Justice dismissed the case, which was also openly supported by Poland and the Czech Republic, saying the quartet had no grounds to refuse to take in migrants.
All four countries have so far failed to accept any asylum seekers under the programme, saying that doing so would present a security threat and is a violation of their border sovereignty.

‘Modern Family’ Producer to Christians Who Oppose DACA Amnesty: ‘F*** You’

Survey: White Christians Are Now a Minority of US Population
8 in 10 Americans were white Christians just 40 years ago
The share of Americans who identify as white and Christian has dropped below 50 percent, a transformation fueled by immigration and by growing numbers of people who reject organized religion altogether, according to a new survey released Wednesday.
Christians overall remain a large majority in the U.S., at nearly 70 percent of Americans. However, white Christians, once predominant in the country’s religious life, now comprise only 43 percent of the population, according to the Public Religion Research Institute, or PRRI, a polling organization based in Washington.
Four decades ago, about eight in 10 Americans were white Christians.

Thousands of African Migrants Have Left Israel for West — Report
Thousands of African migrants have reportedly relocated from Israel to Western nations as part of a program under which they voluntarily leave the country.
Israel has for several years been pressuring migrants to relocate to Uganda and Rwanda,
through incarceration in detention facilities and the promise of financial incentives. However, of the more than 15,000 migrants who have left in recent years, 3,600 went to countries in the West, with two-thirds heading to Canada, Channel 2 news reported Monday.
Western countries mostly take migrants from Eritrea, with a preference for those with a profession, and also prioritize women, children, and the sick.
Recent agreements between the Foreign Ministry and Canada, which has a list of desirable professions, will see a number of Eritreans travel to the North American country to take part in a butchers course. Those who fail will return to Israel, the report said…

Dennis Prager: ‘Those Who Do Not Fight Real Evil, Fight Statues’
Tuesday on Fox News Channel’s “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” talk show host Dennis Prager took aim at the movement currently underway in the country against statues.
Prager told host Tucker Carlson that effort was characteristic of the left, which is to fight “made-up evils.”
“Those who do not fight real evil, fight statues,” Prager said. “This is part of a rule of life I established many years ago. I think it is a defining characteristic of the left, not of liberals necessarily, but of the left. And that is they don’t fight the biggest evils. They fight made-up evils instead. They didn’t fight communism. They fought anti-communism. They don’t fight Islamism. They fight Islamophobia. This is another example of that.”

Twitter Bans Christian Mom for Calling Out Teen Vogue’s Push of Underage Sodomy
The Twitter police have suspended a popular Christian blogger for criticizing a Teen Vogue editor who published an article encouraging teens to have anal sex.
Grace Elizabeth Johnston, who goes by the online name of “The Activist Mommy,” received notice last week that she had been banned from Twitter because of an Aug. 16 tweet she wrote in response to Philip Bicardi, the digital editor of Teen Vogue…
On her Twitter account, Grace Johnston mocked the editor of Teen Vogue for allowing the irresponsible piece to be published, sarcastically congratulating him for having received an award from The Advocate, which describes itself as “the world’s leading LGBT news source.”…
On her website, Johnston called out Twitter for its hypocrisy, noting how plenty of “hateful” material is regularly posted without censorship, whereas a Christian mother’s honest concern over an article that is physically and spiritually damaging to children is singled out as being worthy of a suspension.
“Of course, actual videos of children being abused can be found on Twitter. But calling out an editor for promoting teen sodomy is worth a suspension?” Johnston posted on her website.
“Conservatives and Christians who love our country and our fellow man must get louder and bolder than ever, pushing back against Silicon Valley’s draconian censorship of truth,” she said in a statement to the Christian Post.
This is not Johnston’s first battle with the powerful overlords of social media.

This is further evidence, if any is needed, that the so-called human rights movement and establishment is simply a cover for the cultural-Marxist objective of destroying Western civilization.
In the past, real human abuses were dealt with by public “shaming”, publicizing the practice of abuse and torture by countries. It wasn’t always effective, but often was.
The alarm should ring when human rights courts and commissions are given legal and enforcement powers. At that point, they are co-opted by special interests powerful people with agendas. What happens is they make the rulings they want, and give specious cases which may or may not be true as the justification. But, the solid point is that in all cases, the objective and effect is to dissolve national sovereignty.
The United States will lose its rights in exactly this manner. Take the case of sheriff Arpaio, who was sentenced to jail on “human rights” violations by a judge who denied him the right to a jury trial. You don’t need to be a lawyer to see the clear language in the Constitution requiring a jury trial. In a literate country, the whole rationale would be a laughingstock. c

Fascinating link (speaking as a huge admirer of German culture). It maybe oversimplifies; the Enlightenment did influence the culture (I can’t imagine, say, Beethoven as not being a child of the Enlightenment). It probably had more influence among the Protestant Germans (very approximately, in the north and west; Beethoven was educated by Jesuits, but came from Bonn).
I wish I had the expertise to elaborate on this. Brahms, an atheist from mainly Protestant Hamburg, numbered the Hungarian-Jewish violinist Joseph Joachim among his friends, but so did his mentor Robert Schumann, a Catholic from the Rhineland, who also befriended the ethnically Jewish Mendelssohn. Maybe decency breaks out in unexpected places?
