Gates of Vienna News Feed 6/7/2017

The Islamic State has claimed responsibility for two terrorist attacks in Tehran, in which twelve people were killed and dozens more were wounded. The attacks were carried out by gunmen and suicide bombers. The Iranian government has vowed to avenge the attacks promptly.

In other news, a “Canadian” woman has appeared in court in Toronto after she allegedly attacked employees in a sporting goods store with a golf club while shouting “Allahu Akhbar” and other literary quotes. The woman reportedly swore allegiance to the Islamic State, which has nothing to do with Islam.

Hartford, Connecticut’s Troubles Mounting: Looking to Invoke Bankruptcy

Joseph De Avila, writing in the Wall Street Journal following Aetna’s announcement of its imminent departure from Hartford for more business-friendly climes, used the “B” word: “Hartford, Connecticut’s capital city and hub of the state’s insurance industry, is edging closer to a small club of American municipalities: those that have sought bankruptcy protection.”

Climate Change, The New Form of Totalitarianism

The new green left (environmentalist) propaganda reminds me of the old red left (communist) propaganda. The dirty word is now carbon rather than capitalism. The game is simply to intrude and control everything. -Vincent U. Muirhead, professor emeritus of aerospace engineering, researched gas dynamics, University of Kansas

Environmentalist Propaganda, Same as Old Red Communist Propaganda

First global warming, then climate change, both are truly a stinking lie, a hoax, and worse than that, it’s criminal. Is the climate changing? Of course. The climate always has changed and always will. Is the earth getting warmer? We should hope so for at least two reasons: First, the world emerged from the Little Ice Age in the 19th century, so it would be worrisome if it weren’t getting warmer. Second, all the history indicates that humans thrive more during warmer cyclical periods than colder ones.

In the early 1970s, the NYTs said every major climate organization endorsed the ice age scare, including NCAR, CRU, NAS, NASA — as did the CIA, and it was because of atmospheric carbon dioxide and aerosols. Popular Science magazine was warning that an ice age was coming! Right, and now we have cycled to a warmer climate, and they’re telling us it’s all man made.

It is likely that earth has warmed less than many official temperature records indicate. The most accurate measures of temperature come from satellites. Since the start of these measurements in 1979, they show minor fluctuations and an insignificant net change in global temperature.

Even if the always-wrong climate change computer models turned out to be right in this case, we are talking about spending trillions of dollars, and sacrificing millions of jobs, to reduce the average global temperature in the year 2100 by 0.17 degrees. Sacrifices that would force many Americans into Third World standards of living would contribute 0.015 degrees to that total reduction.

And thanks to common core, our educational system from kindergarten on is brainwashing our children into believing humans are the cause of climate change and that they must save the planet by using less of everything, especially energy.

Comey to Testify That Trump Sought ‘Loyalty, ‘ Asked to Lift Russia ‘Cloud’

James Comey plans to testify Thursday that in the months before he was fired as FBI director, President Trump sought his “loyalty” while also pressing him to “lift the cloud” of the Russia investigation and lay off Michael Flynn, according to written testimony released ahead of his Senate committee appearance.

The prepared remarks for his opening statement, released by the Senate Intelligence Committee, also make clear that Comey repeatedly assured Trump he was not personally under investigation.

Comey’s statement detailed several meetings he had with Trump dating back to January.

He extensively described a Jan. 27 dinner where he said Trump told him: “I need loyalty. I expect loyalty.”

Delingpole: Revealed — The Real Reason Trump Pulled Out of Paris…

[…]Is because he has a very powerful bulls*** detector. We know this thanks to a fascinating and unwittingly revelatory article in the German newspaper Der Spiegel.

The paper reveals how, in the days running up to President Trump’s decision to quit the UN Paris accord, he received a series of deputations from EU leaders urging him to change his mind.

“For me it’s easier to stay in than step out,” Trump told them.

This is perfectly true. Since his momentous Rose Garden speech announcing his plans to pull out of Paris, Trump has taken more flak than a thousand-bomber raid over Berlin in ‘44.

He has upset his daughter Ivanka, his Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, his financial advisor Gary Cohn. On top of that, he has given the entire liberal half of the planet, plus sundry conservative squishes, the perfect excuse they needed to dismiss him as a science-denying loon in thrall to Big Oil, Big Coal, Big Evil, etc…

Hate Preacher ‘Who Influenced London Bridge Terrorist’ Flees Home

Ahmad Musa Jibril left his home in Dearborn, Michigan, so quickly he left his sandals on the deck.

His sister and mother, who live nearby, have also gone into hiding, the MailOnline reported.

Videos posted by Jibril online, in which he preached radical Islam, are believed to have helped inspire Khuram Butt, one of the three jihadis who killed eight people and injured 48 in London Bridge and Borough Market.

How Many More Must Die Until ‘We the People” Are Allowed to be Protected Against Terrorists?

John Adams, the second President of the United States of America once said: “One useless man is called a disgrace; two are called a law firm; three or more become a Congress.”

“How long will this Congress and the judicial system of America take to protect its citizens from obvious terrorism and terrorists?” I am sick and tired of hearing one report after another about a terrorist(s) having killed even more innocent people.

March 22, 2017 a terrorist attack on Parliament and Westminister Bridge had occurred. After running over dozens of people walking over Westminister Bridge the terrorist crashed his 4×4 into the bridge railing. He was eventually killed by police, but not before he stabbed a police officer to death.

May 22, 2017 at an Ariana Grande concert in Manchester, England a suicide bomber detonated a bomb in the foyer of the concert hall killing 22 people, most of them were children. Those cowards killed children!

Today, June 3, 2017 (10p.m. London Time) 3 terrorists drove across London Bridge running over as many people as they could. They stopped at Borough Market, a stone’s throw from the bridge, and began stabbing everyone they could. Long story short, the three terrorists were shot and killed by the police. Six people are dead and at least 40 people are hurt, some critical, who may not live, according to the local news. And according to eye witness accounts those terrorists were wielding twelve inch knives and yelling “This is for Allah” and “Allah Akbar” meaning “God is Greaters.”…

Twice, our courts have denied President Trump’s constitutional right to temporarily block people who come from ONLY 6 different Islamic/Muslim nations where terrorists are known to come from. This is only 6 out of at least 47 Muslim majority countries which is an incredibly small number, and this would only be a ban of 3 months in order for us to determine where the terrorists are coming from. And, yet, Democrats in Congress, college snowflakes, bleeding-heart liberals, etc. are doing everything to block you and I, citizens of the United States of America, from being protected against terrorists.

I am more than old enough to remember that terrorism did not begin at the Twin Towers. On the contrary, it started when I was in high school. And below is a list of those headlines I had seen way back when. I can only pray that those Congressional Democrats, college snowflakes, bleeding-heart liberals, etc. will read this list and understand just how long “We The People” have been tolerating terrorism in the name of tolerance.

[Comment: Read the list.]

If We Don’t Fight for it, The Liberal World Order is Going to Kill Our Way of Life

There comes a time when it becomes necessary to draw a line in the sand.

When the early settlers came to America, they were desperate to find a place where they could live in freedom. And our Founding Fathers worked very hard to draft a Constitution that would guarantee that future generations of Americans would live in a nation where the freedom and liberty of the people were maximized. Unfortunately, the way of life that our founders sought to establish is slowly being killed off by the progressive agenda of “the Liberal World Order”. Just about every single element of their progressive agenda is diametrically opposed to the values and the principles that this country was founded upon. And if they ultimately get everything that they want, our way of life will be eradicated for good.

The term “Liberal World Order” is a phrase that is starting to be used quite frequently by the establishment. It was used by the Washington Post to describe Barack Obama’s final speech to the United Nations, and Vice-President Joe Biden used it during his speech at the World Economic Forum in January.

But of course it is a term that doesn’t just apply to Democrats. Many establishment Republicans also believe in the progressive agenda of the Liberal World Order, and that is why before Trump was elected nothing ever seemed to change very much in Washington no matter who was in power.

Sadly, the same thing is true all over the western world. The Liberal World Order dominates most of the major political parties in just about every industrialized nation, and they are very much accustomed to getting their way. That is one of the reasons why they hate Donald Trump with such a passion, because he is someone that they cannot fully control.

At this point, the Liberal World Order has almost complete control of our culture. In addition to dominating the political system, they also have a stranglehold on the media, on the entertainment world, on most large corporations, on our system of public education, and even on many of our largest religious institutions.

In the end, their goal is not to just win elections. I recently wrote that liberals hate “anyone that disagrees with them”, and even though they claim to be “tolerant” the truth is that they are some of the most intolerant people on the face of the planet. When Kathy Griffin held up a bloody mock ‘decapitated’ head of Donald Trump, it really was a picture of what they want to do to our entire way of life. They literally want to eradicate our worldview, and laws are slowly being put in place all over the western world that are moving us in that direction.

For the true believers in the Liberal World Order, government is a weapon to be used to achieve societal dominance. That is why so many of them are drawn to law school. I have often referred to law school as “seminary for liberals”, because that is essentially what it is.

Our legal system is absolutely infested with radical leftists from the top to the bottom, and that makes it a perfect tool for the left to advance their agenda. Whether it is abortion, gay marriage or any other issue, the left often finds that the easiest way to achieve their goals is by going through the court system.

True believers in the Liberal World Order also tend to believe that government is the answer to just about every problem. So central governments all over the western world have just gotten bigger and bigger and bigger.

But every time government gets bigger, we lose more freedom and liberty.

The Intercept Burns Source of NSA Leak

The Intercept burned its reported source of leaked NSA documents by neglecting to strip evidence showing where the documents originated.

In particular, not only did Intercept reporters fail to remove creases from the documents revealing they were printed, but they also neglected to strip ID numbers showing which printer the documents came from.

That easily allowed federal investigators to determine that only six individuals printed the leaked report from that particular printer, including 25-year-old Reality Winner who’s since been charged.

“A further audit of the six individuals’ desk computers revealed that WINNER had e-mail contact with [The Intercept,]” according to a FBI search warrant. “The audit did not reveal that any of the other individuals had e-mail contact with the news outlet.”

Additionally, Winner’s correspondence to the Intercept was over unsecure email which further exposed her to the FBI.

Culturally Suicidal Ingrates

“So the first thing that you might want to know about Postmodernism is that it doesn’t have a shred of gratitude-and there’s something pathologically wrong with a person that doesn’t have any gratitude, especially when they live in what so far is the best of all possible worlds. So if you’re not grateful, you’re driven by resentment, and resentment is the worst emotion that you can possibly experience, apart from arrogance.” — University of Toronto Professor Jordan Peterson

In two sentences Peterson describes the foundation of progressive ideology and its legions of terminally ungrateful followers. From kindergarten through college, the American left does its utmost to convince millions of students that a lack of societal perfection amounts to societal bankruptcy.

Societal bankruptcy in which the only worthwhile currency is the cultivation of guilt. “White privilege” is a perfect example

Why guilt? Nothing makes resentment more palatable to those who would otherwise reject it than the idea that-by default-there is something for which they have to apologize.

“White privilege” is a perfect example. The term makes skin color the ultimate factor in determining one’s status, utterly irrespective of far more salient factors. Thus an economically deprived, lower-class Caucasian is still required to apologize to an upper middle class black American for “oppressing” him.

That such a proposition is utterly illogical is irrelevant. That’s because, as Peterson so aptly notes, progressives believe logic is a “process by which the patriarchal institutions of the West continue to dominate and to justify their dominance.”

Yet when one eliminates logic, what’s left? According to Peterson “a Hobbesian battleground of identity groups” that “do not communicate with one another, because they can’t.”

Not can’t. Won’t. As college campuses across the nation prove beyond all reasonable doubt, progressives are more than willing to suppress-if not outright riot against-the dissemination of any viewpoint that challenges their ideology.

Toronto Woman Swears Allegiance to ISIS, Charged in Store Attack

TORONTO — A Scarborough woman swore allegiance to ISIS in a Scarborough courtroom where she appeared to face allegations that she swung a golf club at hardware store employees while screaming threats and Islamic chants.

Before Tuesday’s proceedings started, Justice of the Peace Alice Napier asked Rehab Dughmosh, 32, to identify herself in court — but the accused woman didn’t initially answer the question.

“ISIS — I pledge to the leader of the believers — Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi,” blurted the woman through an interpreter.

Al-Baghdadi is the leader of the Sunni militant jihadist group known as the Islamic State of Iraq (ISIS) and the Levant.

Dughmosh, who wore a black niqab and a forest-green prison sweat suit, agreed to “stay in jail,” rather than have a bail hearing at College Park courts Tuesday.

Dughmosh was remanded in custody and will appear via video at Scarborough Court of Justice on June 21…

Woman Screaming ‘Allahu Akbar’ Charged in Toronto Store Attack

Swung golf club at employees and a customer and pulled out a knife while uttering threats…

A Toronto woman has been charged after a suspect masked with an ISIS bandana allegedly swung a golf club at store employees while screaming threats and Islamic chants on Saturday afternoon at the same time that a terrorist rampage occurred in London.

Sources told the Toronto Sun that a woman entered Cedarbrae Mall in Scarborough and then the Canadian Tire store, where she walked to the paint section.

She ranted “Allahu Akbar” — God is great — before swinging a golf club at employees, sources said. The woman was restrained by several employees, who allegedly found a knife on her.

Are Jihadists Taking Over Europe?

by Giulio Meotti

In the four European countries most targeted by terror attacks — Britain, France, Belgium and Germany — the number of official extremists has reached 66,000. That sounds like a real army — on active duty.

The terrorists’ ransom is already visible: they have destabilized the democratic process in many European countries and are drafting the terms of freedom of expression. A jihadist takeover of Europe is no longer unthinkable. Islamic extremists are already reaping what they sowed: they successfully defeated Geert Wilders and Marine Le Pen, the only two European candidates who really wanted to fight radical Islam.

Delingpole: ‘Global Warming’ Is a Myth, Say 58 Scientific Papers in 2017

“Global warming” is a myth — so say 80 graphs from 58 peer-reviewed scientific papers published in 2017.

In other words, the so-called “Consensus” on global warming is a massive lie. And Donald Trump was quite right to quit the Paris agreement which pretended that the massive lie was true.

By “global warming” these papers don’t, of course, mean the mild warming of around 0.8 degrees Celsius that the planet has experienced since the middle of the 19th century as the world crawled out of the Little Ice Age. Pretty much everyone, alarmists and skeptics alike, is agreed on that.

Rather, they mean “global warming” in the sense that is most commonly used today by grant-troughing scientists, and huxter politicians, and scaremongering green activists, and brainwashed mainstream media (MSM) environmental correspondents. “Global warming” as in the scary, historically unprecedented, primarily man-made phenomenon which we must address urgently before the icecaps melt and the Pacific islands disappear beneath the waves and all the baby polar bears drown…

The intellectually corrupt and mendacious alarmist science establishment — I’m thinking, for example, of my personal bete noir, the left-wing political activist and Nobel-prizewinning geneticist Sir Paul Nurse, former president of the Royal Society — would have us believe that climate skepticism is a minority activity, the preserve of a few cranks, championed only by people who don’t do the science. But this is just ugly propaganda.

Here are dozens of reputable scientists from around the world with no axe to grind collaborating on studies which all corroborate, independently and rigorously, the increasingly respectable view that “man-made global warming” just isn’t a thing.

Not that it ever was a thing, really. This debate — as I argue at some length in Watermelons — was always about left-wing ideology, quasi-religious hysteria, and “follow the money” corruption, never about “science.”

Still, it’s always a comfort to know that “the science” is on our side too.

They do so hate that fact, the Greenies.

Donald Trump, Europe’s Best Friend

by Srdja Trifkovic

According to the media machine and pundits on both sides of the Atlantic, President Trump’s recent attendance at two summits—in Brussels (NATO) and Sicily (G7)—went very badly. He went through many tense encounters, made a number of statements his interlocutors did not like, notably on the uneven burden of defense costs, on his dislike of the Paris climate change accords, and on German trade sufficits. Significantly, he sounded lukewarm on NATO’s Article 5 (“all for one, one for all”). Some Europeans tried to score a few domestic points by exploiting latent anti-Americanism in their encounters with Trump, notably the newly elected French president Emmanuel Macron with that now famous gladiatorial handshake.

According to The Guardian, Trump’s visist has left the continent’s leaders aghast, but at the same time it has had one unexpected positive consequence. Just like the Soviet threat forced Europeans to focus on what they had in common and how to protect it, this theory goes, Trump’s attitudes may help improve Europe’s ability to integrate: “The continent’s interests lie in making sure the toxicity of Trump is somehow curtailed. That can only happen if it sets new ambitions for itself. Just weeks after Emmanuel Macron’s electoral victory in France brought a major moment of solace, Trump’s tour will have starkly reminded Europeans of the new world of uncertainties, and the need to pull together.”

According to another commentator writing in the same organ of Britain’s leftist bein pensants, “In truth, Trump’s mixture of vulgarity, arrogance, ignorance and rudeness makes Europeans secretly feel extremely good about their own sophistication and civilised manners. Contrasts can be soothing. Just as Europeans decided Brexit needed to be dealt with in unity . . . Trump is fast turning into a binding factor.” In brief, the postnational elite loathes Trump and wants a new global strategy “for a world where, every so often, the US electoral cycle produces a corrupt, deluded isolationist who can think only in monosyllables.”

This sentiment was reflected in German chancellor Angela Merkel’s unusually blunt statement at an election rally in Munich last weekend: “We Europeans truly have to take our fate into our own hands,” she said, “naturally in friendship with the United States of America, in friendship with Great Britain, as good neighbors with whoever, also with Russia and other countries. But we have to know that we Europeans must fight for our own future and destiny. The times in which we could rely fully on others, they are to some extent over. This is what I experienced in the last few days.”

In Europe Merkel’s statement caused an instant sensation. In America the globalist establishment predictably chastised Trump for undermining our partnerships and alliances of long standing. Richard Haass, president of the U.S. Council on Foreign Relations, called Merkel’s comments a “watershed,” and warned that the resulting scenario is “what U.S. has sought to avoid” since World War II. On the whole it would be very welcome news if the German Chancellor really meant what she said, but there is less than meets the eye.

If Merkel was serious, over 50,000 American soldiers can finally be withdrawn from Germany, where their stay has not had any military-strategic justification for the past twenty-six years. She is loath to do so, because their upkeep at the U.S. taxpayers’ expense is a boon to the German economy. If she seeks military self-reliance, then Germany—with the GDP of $3.4 trillion—will have to spend considerably more on defense in the future than the miserly 1.2 percent she is spending at the moment. It seems, however, that Merkel still wants to have it both ways: the days of full reliance on the United States are over, she says, but only “to some extent.”…

Countering online hate speech — Commission initiative with social media platforms and civil society shows progress

Brussels, 1 June 2017

One year ago, the European Commission and four major social media platforms announced a Code of Conduct on countering illegal online hate speech.

It included a series of commitments by Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Microsoft to combat the spread of such content in Europe. An evaluation carried out by NGOs and public bodies in 24 Member States, released on the first anniversary of the Code of Conduct, shows that the companies have made significant progress in following up on their commitments.

Paris Hammer Attack Suspect Worked as a Journalist in Sweden: Report

The suspect is believed to be Farid Ikken, who previously lived in Sweden and worked as a journalist for the public-service broadcaster Swedish Radio, the Swedish tabloid Aftonbladet reports.

The attack on Tuesday afternoon took place outside the famous Notre Dame cathedral in Paris, where a man hurled himself at a police officer on patrol outside one of the French capital’s most visited tourist spots.

The man, who was armed with a hammer and two knives, shouted “this is for Syria” when he landed the blow on the officer.

Terror Top Concern for Undecided Voters Amidst Fears Islamist Attacks Now ‘Ongoing Challenge’ For UK

The deadly terror attack at London Bridge has moved security to the top of undecided voters’ election concerns, according to BritainThinks.

The Dark Origins of Communism: Part 2 of 3

Communist policy grew from failed experiments in redistribution of wealth, violent suppression, and state atheism

The Reign of Terror in the French Revolution laid the foundations from which communism grew. It pushed for an idea of “liberation” that gradually destroyed free will, and was based on a top-down system that sought to establish social good by regulating the beliefs and opinions of the individual.

Communism sustains itself by violently suppressing all other ideas. Its dictators hold that their ideas are Utopian—the end of human progress—and that all ideas contrary to their own should be crushed by force.

Before François-Noël “Gracchus” Babeuf attempted his Conspiracy of Equals, and before his ideas spawned the League of Outlaws, his was just another name within Maximilien Robespierre’s club. Robespierre was behind the bloodiest segment of the French Revolution, the Reign of Terror…

The mass use of violence in the Reign of Terror would begin in early September 1793, after crowds invaded the assembly and demanded it accept the program of their collectivist movement. The Sans-culottes, the lower-class commoners in 18th-century France, blamed the lack of food on farmers, who they believed were hoarding it for themselves. They asked the Jacobins to increase the Terror against the farmers and to push food out of their storehouses with bayonets.

This movement mirrored what would be seen under many communist leaders, from Lenin to Mao Zedong, who launched movements to seize seeds, crops, and even tools from farmers, which triggered even worse famines.

On Sept. 17, 1793, the Committee of Public Safety introduced its Law of Suspects. It declared as guilty anyone suspected of being against the policies of the regime, and violations could include acting suspiciously, associating with the “wrong” people, or saying or writing anything considered out of line. Those who violated this new law were beheaded by the guillotine.

Robespierre explained this concept: “Those who accuse us are themselves accused.”

Similar policies were seen under communist dictatorships, when anyone who opposed the various violent revolutions were labeled as “counterrevolutionaries” and were similarly denounced or killed. This was a cornerstone of Mao’s policies during the Cultural Revolution from 1966 to 1976…

Communism is estimated to have killed at least 100 million people, yet its crimes have not been fully compiled and its ideology still persists. The Epoch Times seeks to expose the history and beliefs of this movement, which has been a source of tyranny and destruction since it emerged.

Third London Jihad Murderer Told Italian Police: “I’m Going to be a Terrorist, “ Had No Trouble Entering UK

The Moroccan-Italian man who has been identified as the third London attacker told Italian authorities “I’m going to be a terrorist,” when he was stopped at Bologna Airport last year, an Italian security official told POLITICO.

Youssef Zaghba, 22, was the third man shot dead by police during Saturday’s terrorist attack in central London. He had been notified to British and Moroccan authorities by Italian intelligence when Italian police intercepted him on 15 March 2016 at Bologna Airport with a one-way ticket for Istanbul, two officials said on condition of anonymity.

He was stopped because he looked “agitated,” one source said. When questioned by police at the airport about the reasons for his journey, he replied, “I’m going to be a terrorist.” He was carrying no luggage.

UK General Election: Leaders Tour Country in Final Appeal for Votes

Theresa May and Jeremy Corbyn are stressing core themes as they and other party leaders criss-cross the UK in a last push for general election votes.

The Tory leader said she was the only person who could “deliver for Britain” and negotiate the right Brexit deal.

Warning of “five more years of Tory austerity”, Labour’s leader promised more spending on health and education.

The Lib Dems are focusing on Remain-voting target seats while UKIP says only it can stop Brexit “backsliding”.

In Scotland, the SNP leader Nicola Sturgeon has warned that a vote for Labour risks “handing the keys of No 10” to Theresa May, while leaders in Wales and Northern Ireland are also making their last pitch for votes.

‘First of Our Kind’ Found in Morocco

The idea that modern people evolved in a single “cradle of humanity” in East Africa some 200,000 years ago is no longer tenable, new research suggests.

Fossils of five early humans have been found in North Africa that show Homo sapiens emerged at least 100,000 years earlier than previously recognised.

It suggests that our species evolved all across the continent, the scientists involved say.

Brutal Revenge: Rare Attack in Iran Shows How Country Responds to Terrorism

Iran vowed quick revenge after ISIS suicide bombers and gunmen stormed parliament and the mausoleum of the country’s revered spiritual leader Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, killing 13 people and injuring 41.

That revenge is likely to be swift and brutal based on the response to past terror attacks in the country, and won’t be tempered by the fact that all five attackers were killed by security forces. And it might not even be entirely aimed at preventing future terrorist attacks.

Iran’s Powerful Revolutionary Guard stopped short of directly blaming Saudi involvement but called it “meaningful” that the attacks took place a week after President Donald Trump traveled to Riyadh. The Guard statement said that Saudi Arabia “constantly supports takfiri terrorists” and the Islamic State’s claim of responsibility for the Tehran attacks “reveals [Saudi Arabia’s] hand in this barbaric action.”

Former Israeli Defense Minister: Turkey’s Erdogan is ‘Intentionally Islamicizing Europe’

In an interview with the Times of Israel, former Israeli Defense Minister Moshe Ya’alon accused Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan of “intentionally Islamicizing Europe” by flooding it with Muslim immigrants, both from Turkey and elsewhere.

Ya’alon, who has declared his intention to run for prime minister in the next election, described Erdogan as the leader of the Muslim Brotherhood, which is competing with Shiite Iran and Sunni Saudi Arabia to achieve global dominance.

He said Erdogan’s strategy involved pushing refugees and migrants from the Middle East into Europe, through such tactics as subsidizing travel through Turkey to points west. He recalled a Greek official telling him about a Moroccan who somehow purchased a flight from Morocco to Istanbul for only fifty dollars and then used a rubber boat to reach Greece.

“That was a subsidized flight. Who subsidized it? They’re being pushed to Europe,” Ya’alon charged.

“Erdogan is acting like a leader of the Muslim Brotherhood and he wants to Islamicize Europe. So when the Europeans demanded he stop this stream [of refugees], what did he ask them? To allow Turks to go to Europe without visas. And what did he tell Turks living in Europe three weeks ago? To increase their birth rates! That’s the Islamization of Europe,” he told the Times of Israel.

German Govt Approves Withdrawal From Turkey Anti-ISIS Base

Angela Merkel’s cabinet agreed on Wednesday to withdraw its troops from Turkey’s Incirlik base, after last-ditch talks with Ankara failed to resolve an escalating row.

The military personnel, Tornado surveillance jets and other hardware — deployed as part of the international coalition against the Isis jihadist group — will be moved to Jordan’s Asraq base instead, said Defence Minister Ursula von der Leyen.

Germany has had more than 250 troops stationed in Incirlik, flying surveillance missions over Syria and refuelling flights for partner nations battling the Isis jihadists.

But the deployment has become a bone of contention after Ankara repeatedly refused to allow German lawmakers to visit the base.

Iran Attack: ISIS Claims Responsibility for Pair of Assaults in Tehran

ISIS claimed responsibility for a pair of Wednesday attacks in Tehran in which suicide bombers and teams of gunmen stormed Iran’s parliament and the nearby shrine of Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, killing at least 12 and injuring dozens of others.

This is the first attack orchestrated by ISIS in the Islamic Republic, SITE Intel Group reported. It wasn’t initially clear if the death count, reported by state broadcaster IRIB, included the attackers.

In a rare and stunning move, ISIS released video from inside the parliament building while the attack was under way. The video, circulated online, shows a gunman and a bloody, lifeless body of a man lying on the ground next to a desk. A voice on the video praises God and says in Arabic: “Do you think we will leave? We will remain, God willing.” Another voice repeats the same words. The two appeared to be parroting a slogan used by IS spokesman Abu Mohammad al-Adnani, who was killed in Syria last year.

The parliament assault ended Wednesday morning with all four attackers there being killed.

ISIS Claims Responsibility for Attacks on Iran’s Parliament, Khomeini’s Mausoleum

Twelve people were killed and 42 others were wounded in a pair of attacks waged by terrorists in Tehran, Iran, on June 7. The attacks were conducted in Iran’s Parliament building and at the mausoleum of the Islamic Republic’s founder, Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini. ISIS claimed for the attacks, through its Amaq News Agency.

A report in the New York Times stated that attacks started around 10:30 a.m., Tehran time, when several men armed with Kalashnikov AK-47 automatic rifles and wearing suicide vests converged on the Parliament building. The attackers killed at least one security guard, wounding and kidnapping several other people. The attack lasted for about four hours until four of the attackers were killed by security forces.

Qatar Crisis: Can Al Jazeera Survive?

Qatar’s Al Jazeera media network has undoubtedly put the tiny Gulf state on the international map.

It is the showpiece of the oil- and gas-rich nation’s efforts to turn its financial largesse into outsized global influence and visibility, a two-decades long effort that includes its successful bid to host the 2022 World Cup.

But there are growing fears that the current diplomatic crisis in Qatar could place the high-profile network’s future in jeopardy.

Al Jazeera’s broadcasting has caused controversy and drawn anger in various Arab states, not least in Egypt after the fall of Hosni Mubarak during the Arab Spring and the subsequent ousting of the elected president, Mohammed Morsi — a leader of the Muslim Brotherhood.

It has already been caught up in the current crisis, with its website blocked by Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Egypt and Bahrain in late May.

Those nations all severed ties with Qatar on 5 June, accusing the country of supporting extremism.

Tehran Attackers ‘Were IS Recruits From Iran’

Iran says the attackers who killed 12 people in the capital Tehran were Iranians who had joined so-called Islamic State (IS).

Suicide bombers attacked parliament and the mausoleum of the Islamic Republic’s founder Ayatollah Khomeini.

All the attackers were killed. Five people believed to be planning a third attack were arrested, officials said.

Iran’s powerful Revolutionary Guards accused Saudi Arabia and the US of being behind the attacks.

The violence comes amid heightened tension in the Middle East, with Saudi Arabia and other Arab states cutting ties with Qatar over alleged support for Islamist militants and closer ties with Iran.

Sunni-ruled Saudi Arabia and Shia-majority Iran are staunch regional rivals.

Wahhabism First

by Srdja Trifkovic

President Donald Trump started his first foreign tour on May 20 in Saudi Arabia. His two-day visit was punctuated by a series of embarrassingly poltroonish statements and gestures to his hosts. It culminated in a macabre sabre-rattling spectacle, the moral equivalent of tossing Zyklon B canisters into a Silesian compound in 1944. For his part, Secretary of State Rex Tillerson asserted that the battle against “extremism” has “nothing to do with religion.”

To paraphrase Winston Churchill’s paean to the RAF Fighter Command, never in the history of U.S. foreign policy have so few disappointed so many so quickly. Had President Trump merely fine-tuned some of Candidate Trump’s stated positions, the adjustment likely would have been unsurprising and prudent. What we have seen instead, in the first four months of this presidency, is a comprehensive reversal of his stated positions on many specific issues (Russia, NATO, the E.U., Syria, etc.) and a retreat on the key question of America’s grand strategy.

Saudi Arabia and many of the countries that gave vast amounts of money to the Clinton Foundation want women as slaves and to kill gays,” Candidate Trump wrote a year ago. He accurately described the Saudis as “mouth pieces, bullies, cowards” who were “paying ISIS” and who imagined that they could “control our U.S. politicians.” He demanded the release of the missing 28 pages that had been redacted from the congressional report on the 9/11 terrorist attacks, hinting that the Saudi rulers had helped the hijackers, and adding that “it’s sort of nice to know who your friends are, and perhaps who your enemies are.”…

Commission Readies Sanctions Against the Visegrad Four

The European Commission warned yesterday (6 June) it could sanction member states that don’t follow EU quota rules for asylum seekers by opening infringement proceedings against them as early as next week.

The warning came after the Czech Republic said it would not take in more migrants, citing security concerns.

The Czech Republic will not accept any further migrants from Italy and Greece based on the quotas for the redistribution of refugees across the EU, also due to the worsened security situation, Interior Minister Milan Chovanec said after a cabinet meeting today.

He stated that the one-off mechanism of quotas will end in September and the Czech Republic will “not be active anymore”.

EU ministers approved on 22 September by qualified majority a plan to share out 120,000 refugees across its 28 states, overriding vehement opposition from the Visegrád Four (Poland, Hungary, Slovakia and the Czech Republic).

Poland Wants to Bar Islamic Migrants From EU

Polish MEP Ryszard Czarnecki has warned his officials they need to protect Poland from terrorist attacks by barring Islamic migrants from entering the country.

His comments were in response to the June 3 London attack which killed 10, including three suspects, and injured at least 48 others.

Czarnecki, who hails from Poland’s conservative Law and Justice (PiS) party, said terrorist attacks were often carried out by children of “Islamic migrants” — many of them citizens of European countries — who were trained by the so-called Islamic State.

“Other countries have led to a situation in which those trained on Islamic State territory in Syria, Iraq — young people with French, Belgian, Dutch, British, German citizenship — return to Europe… and somehow [the authorities] were incapable of monitoring them,” Czarnecki said.

The Enemy Within Blows Their Cover Once Again

On May 5, 2017, I wrote that there were felons across the country that are masquerading as mayors. These felons are defying the laws of America by alluring illegals that mean to destroy America into their perspective cities by harboring them from prosecution according to law. Why would they do the unthinkable? (Luke 22:48) This is treason (Article 3, Section 3 of the US Constitution).

After the Manchester, England jihad bombing at the Ariana Grande concert last week, we saw people in the UK who began to wake up to the fact that in Birmingham, England the mayor just happens to be a Muslim. Additionally, Lutton, Blackburn, Oxford, Oldham, Rochdale, Leeds, and in London the mayors all happen to be Muslims.

As a matter of fact, the mayor of London, holding a sign in his hand that read “Refugee’s Welcome” said, “Terror attacks are a part of ‘Urban life’“ (Deuteronomy 28:43). This is not happening in some dark corner of the globe. This is happening in the light of day for all the world to see and hear.

In Germany, Angela Merkel, 2015 Time’s Person of the Year (Adolph Hitler — 1938 “Man of the Year,” Joseph Stalin — 1939 and 1942 “Man of the Year” (Luke 16:15)) who once slapped the German flag and stated that Germany belongs to Islam, said that the reason for the jihadi bombing in Manchester was not the fault of the Muslim who chose to commit the crime, it was the fault of Christians for Islamaphobia (Matthew 10:16-23). Not one thing was said in support of the victims.

Parents to Lose Children to Government Gender Zealots

Parents who don’t subscribe to Gender Ideology can have their children taken away from them was on the last day before Ontario’s legislature, Queen’s Park passed the totalitarian bill allowing government to remove kids from Christian homes.

But the news of Bill 89 and how it came to be is even worse than that.

Ontario Premier Kathleen Wynne,-not in the running for 2018 provincial elections-is making a Barack Hussein Obama style departure from public office: she’s throwing everything she possibly can at taxpaying Christian families who don’t buy into her progressive agenda.

Even Ontario’s first former Socialist Premier Bob Rae didn’t reach such horrendous infamy against family life in Canada.

Wynne’s latest societal shock is ‘totalitarian 101’, Bill 89, which hands over to the family-crushing state the power to remove children from families who oppose-even passively-the LGBTQI and gender ideology agenda, allowing for the first time government agencies to totally ban couples who disagree with that agenda from fostering or adopting children.

A personal friend of fellow Lib-Left Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, Wynne , who was handed off the premiership without the inconvenience of an election by Premier Dalton McGuinty when he resigned in 2013 was incredibly given a majority victory by Ontario voters the first time she faced the electorate in 2014.

Voters, who cut the admitted lesbian a break on her sexual preference, were smeared as homophobics all the same. Bill 89 is how she paid them in kind.

Why I Refuse to Lie About Islam

By Bruce Bawer

It’s a matter of living with the truth. For some of us, that’s important. People who have lived under totalitarian regimes but who now enjoy freedom understand this in a way that suburban American twenty-somethings may not. No, none of us can ever know the whole truth about any subject. But if we live in a free country, we are free to inquire, to study, to struggle for knowledge of the truth, and that is a freedom to be cherished.
