Hackers using a stolen NSA software tool were able to gain access to major networks in 99 different countries and hijack websites, using “ransomware” and demanding payment for the restoration of the sites. Britain’s National Health Service was one of the systems that was victimized.
In other news, German Finance Minister Wolfgang Schäuble demanded that Greece cut pensions by a further 18% as a condition for another bailout from the ECB.

Trump’s got grit, praises seasoned political operative
Former presidential candidate, Pat Buchanan, has warned that the Washington D.C. “establishment octopus” is doing everything in its power to destroy the presidency of Donald Trump, whom he called “courageous” for weathering the most vicious character assassination in political history.
“The establishment, the media, the deep state, and the whole D.C. ‘octopus,’ if you will, has targeted Trump the way it targeted Nixon and succeeded, and targeted Reagan but didn’t bring him down in Iran Contra,” he said in an appearance on Fox Business. “It now feels it’s after Donald Trump.”
“What they want to do is cancel the returns from last November, and basically overturn the election of a man who they could not defeat at the polls.”
Buchanan expressed his admiration for the President’s economic nationalist platform and positions on border security and immigration, gleefully noting that Trump was the first president to skip the White House Correspondents’ Dinner since Ronald Reagan, who had recently been shot and bowed out due to his injuries.
While Barack Obama relished the Dinner, annually basking in the adulation slovenly heaped upon him by adoring fellow travelers in the mainstream media and Hollywood, Trump took a pass on the event, snubbing the vitriolic press to hold one of his signature massive rallies over 100 miles away in Pennsylvania.

Cars, House Searched as We Learn More About Suspect in Kirkersville Nursing Home Shooting
KIRKERSVILLE, Ohio — Authorities say they’ve searched two cars belonging to the man suspected of fatally shooting an Ohio police chief and two nursing home employees.
Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine said Friday that two search warrants were issued for the cars.
One of the vehicles searched was at a nearby gas station in Kirkersville in central Ohio.
Media reports also say police searched a house in the nearby village of Utica on Friday.
According to WBNS-10TV, the gunman is Thomas Hartless. They report Hartless has a criminal record which dates back to an assault in 1992 and includes three domestic violence charges. According to WBNS, he was also charged in 2009 with abduction.
Police say the suspect killed Kirkersville Chief Steven Eric Disario and two female employees at Pine Kirk Care Center. The gunman was found dead with the employees. WBNS reports investigators confirmed Hartless had a relationship with one of the employees.
Kirkersville is about 25 miles east of Columbus. Utica is about 26 miles north of Kirkersville…

City’s Trump ‘Nazi’ Billboard Funded by Taxpayers
A billboard in Phoenix that depicted President Trump as a Nazi was posted to create controversy, a local paper reported, and it did, with reports of death threats against the artist, Karen Fiorito.
Now, Judicial Watch, the non-profit watchdog on government, reveals the billboard was paid for, at least in part, by taxpayers.
The billboard is just one of many ways in which critics of the president have likened him to the German dictator.
It shows Trump with clouds of nuclear explosions in the background flanked by dollar signs that look like swastikas.
Judicial Watch said that shortly after the billboard was erected it filed a public records request with the city of Phoenix to obtain details related to public monies connected to organizations and organizers of the sign.
Documents arrived this week showing the city of Phoenix awarded Beatrice Moore, the Trump Nazi billboard owner and a prominent figure in the local art community, thousands of dollars in grants for a program she runs called Grand Avenue Arts & Preservation (GAP).

The officials who tried him don’t know the first foggiest thing about Islam, and so they likely didn’t know to ask al-Turki whether he was denying that he had kept his housekeeper as a sex slave, or just denying that he abused her. This is a key distinction that they almost certainly didn’t think to make, because they don’t know that the Qur’an allows for the sexual enslavement of Infidel women (cf. 4:3, 4:24, 23:1-6, 33:50, 70:30).
In light of that, Al-Turki likely thinks he has done nothing wrong while not denying the facts of the case. This is clear from the fact that at his sentencing, Al-Turki refused to apologize for “things I did not do and for crimes I did not commit.” He told the judge: “The state has criminalized these basic Muslim behaviors. Attacking traditional Muslim behaviors was the focal point of the prosecution.” He wants to be returned to Saudi Arabia because what he did isn’t a crime there. He wouldn’t serve any more time.

Delaware: State Trooper’s Killer a “Budding Jihadist”, Quoted Koran During Standoff
Here again is another important news story getting no coverage from the enemedia. A Delaware state trooper was fatally gunned down outside of a convenience store by devout Muslims reciting quotes from the Quran, later prompting a standoff with one of two suspects, who fired at cops, police said.
A reporter for the DelawareOnline tweeted, “Scene indicates the trooper was shot multiple times. There’s a lot of blood on ground, multiple casing markers. Still huge police presence.”
Police said that one of the suspects was taken into custody at the scene and the other one fled into a residence in the Brick Mill Farm section in Middletown and is firing at police, said McQueen.
“The suspect has refused to surrender and is firing rounds at officers,” McQueen said, adding “this is a sad day for our state.”
Meanwhile, area schools were placed on lockdown.
The Appoquinimink School District posted on Facebook, “We have been notified by police that an armed individual is in the Dove Run Shopping Center. The police have set up a perimeter. As a precaution, ALL area schools have gone on lockdown.” (NYP)

Hackers Exploit Stolen U.S. Spy Agency Tool to Launch Global Cyberattack
A global cyberattack leveraging hacking tools widely believed by researchers to have been developed by the U.S. National Security Agency hit international shipper FedEx, disrupted Britain’s health system and infected computers in nearly 100 countries on Friday.
Cyber extortionists tricked victims into opening malicious malware attachments to spam emails that appeared to contain invoices, job offers, security warnings and other legitimate files.

James Comey Leaks Donald Trump Dinner Details to the New York Times
Former FBI Director James Comey is now leaking details of a private dinner with President Donald Trump to the media, through some of his close associates.
According to the New York Times, the FBI director had dinner with Trump in January after the inauguration, citing private details of the meeting that portray Comey as a martyr.
Comey’s people, “who have heard his account of the dinner” and spoke anonymously, insist that Trump asked the director to pledge his personal loyalty to him, but he declined. They added that Comey was wary about dining with the president, but believed he couldn’t turn him down.
The White House, however, disputed the report.
“We don’t believe this to be an accurate account,” said Sarah Huckabee Sanders, the deputy press secretary. “The integrity of our law enforcement agencies and their leadership is of the utmost importance to President Trump. He would never even suggest the expectation of personal loyalty, only loyalty to our country and its great people.”
According to the White House, one of the many reasons Comey was fired was because he failed to stop sensitive leaks of information to the media.

Marxist Black Student Group Rewarded for Taking Over Building at UC Santa Cruz
A Marxist black student group at the University of California, Santa Cruz that took over an administration building earlier this month is celebrating having its initial demands met but is threatening more “reclamations” unless the university meets additional demands.
The ordeal began on May 2, when about 150 students took over and forcibly occupied (they prefer the term “reclaimed”) Kerr Hall, an administration building on campus. The students chained the doors and barricaded other possible entries with furniture and other items. Then — while enjoying free electricity, hot and cold running water, Internet service, and access to vending machines — the social justice warriors tweeted pictures of their successful conquest. Michael Snyder is Calling for an Army of Pro-Trump Activists to Run for Office All Over America
It is really easy to sit back and complain about the direction of this country, but what America really needs at this hour are men and women that are willing to step into the fight to save our constitutional republic. As I have said before, getting Donald Trump elected was the greatest miracle in U.S. political history, but he should not have to wage this battle alone. Trump has very few friends in Congress at this point, and so it is absolutely critical that we get him some during the 2018 mid-term elections. So I am calling for an army of pro-Trump activists to run for national, state and local offices all over America in 2018. Donald Trump started this revolution, and now it is our job to continue it.
My father was in the U.S. Navy, and so sometimes I like to put things in military terms. When an amphibious invasion is being conducted, it is the troops that hit the beach first that take the most fire. To me, that is a perfect picture of what is happening to Donald Trump right now. He has established a beachhead, and now the rest of us need to rush to shore to back him up.
If we are not willing to try, what is going to happen? Our political system on the national, state and local levels will continue to be dominated by Democrats and “progressive Republicans”, and our once great nation will continue to fall apart all around us.
We need patriotic men and women to challenge every available seat in America in 2018. Some of us will win and others will lose, but at least we will have given the American people a choice.

In many articles leading up to the 2016 election I discussed the problem of “escalation.” Namely escalation on the left end of the political spectrum and the people who identify with it (set aside that this spectrum does not exist for the leaders and gatekeepers that exploit it). In analyzing the consequences of the inevitable Trump win, it was clear that extreme leftists (cultural Marxists) were about to lose considerable social influence and that this would end up driving them to more aggressive measures. This process has happened even faster than I expected.
Cultural Marxists are almost universally distrusted or despised in America today. Their only support seems to come from their own inbred activist circles, Hollywood and certain elements of the corporate and political world.
This does not mean they are going away. Not at all. What it means is that they are going to evolve into something else, perhaps something worse. That said, even if this does occur, I worry that conservatives are putting far too much stock in the threat these people represent. My greatest fear is that conservatives will become so hyper-focused on a militant left that they will forget about the international financiers that instigated this mess in the first place. I also worry that we will one day abandon our constitutional principles in the name of stomping such people into the dirt, using government as our primary tool…
Real escalation when it comes to the Left is almost always funded and supported by governments or by elites seeking to use those leftists as weapons for prodding the general population and creating rationalizations for reactionary totalitarianism. I highly suggest skeptics of this idea look into Antony Sutton’s evidenced records and studies into the corporate backing of the Bolshevik Revolution in Russia as well as their backing of the rise of fascism in Europe.
I would also suggest research into more famous and violent leftist activist groups like the Weather Underground; a collective responsible for dozens of bombings and threats against government facilities. Perhaps the most suspicious circumstance of the Weathermen and their seeming immunity in many cases to prosecution is the strange story of Bill Ayers, a leader within the Weather Underground that planned multiple bombings but remains free to this day and is an influential figure among political elites in Washington.
If you think that the racially charged rhetoric of social justice warriors today is extreme or “new,” just look at the rhetoric of the Weather Underground, which included discussions on “killing all white babies” because they were destined to “grow up to be oppressive racists.” This propaganda has been going on a LONG time.

Police Chief: Two Nursing Home Employees, Suspect Killed in Kirkersville Shooting
The new Kirkersville Police Chief and two nursing home employees were killed during a shooting in the small Licking County community Friday morning.
The Licking County Sheriff says the suspected shooter was also found dead.
Sheriff Randy Thorpe says Kirkersville Police Chief Steven Eric Disario was shot and killed while responding to a 911 call at the Pine Kirk Care Center, a nursing home on East Main Street. The last report from Disario was that he’d spotted the suspect.
The Sheriff says other authorities responding to the reports of a shooting later found three people dead inside the nursing home. Two of the victims were employees, and one was the suspected shooter. Law enforcement has not yet released information about the other victims or the shooter.
Disario had only been on the job as Kirkersville Police Chief for three weeks, according to the Sheriff. Disario was married and a father of six, with a seventh child on the way. Before his most recent job, he’d worked as part of the police departments in Millersport and Lithopolis.

Trump Suggests Canceling Press Briefings ‘For the Sake of Accuracy’
Just hours after Donald Trump contradicted previous White House explanations for why he fired FBI Director James Comey, he suggested canceling press briefings “for the sake of accuracy.”
In a series of tweets Friday, the president said “it is not possible” for his communications team “to stand at podium with perfect accuracy!” He floated the idea of handing out pre-written statements to reporters instead.
“As a very active President with lots of things happening, it is not possible for my surrogates to stand at podium with perfect accuracy!…Maybe the best thing to do would be to cancel all future “press briefings” and hand out written responses for the sake of accuracy???”

Watch: The Moment a Driver Shoots and Kills Gunman Who Randomly Attacked Him at Illinois Gas Station
A man pumping gas in Illinois was randomly confronted by a gunman who approached his car, drew his weapon and attempted to kill him.
Police say a man dressed in the orange jacket in the video below is Ronald Morales. After apparently staring down the driver who was pumping gas, Morales hastily approached the man, gun drawn. He opened the passenger side door in what appears to be an attempt at exchanging words, but the driver had already seen Morales draw a weapon. In turn, he drew his own weapon and a shootout ensued.
Morales was shot, quickly turned and ran out of view of the camera and subsequently collapsed and died a short time later.
Police say the driver will not be charged because he acted in self defense:
The video proves once again that the Second Amendment saves lives, because determined criminals who intend to harm innocent people will absolutely get their hands on a weapon regardless of background checks or waiting periods.

When Seconds Count: Home Invasion Victim Waits Over an Hour for Police to Arrive
There’s a big divide between urban liberals and rural conservatives when it comes to gun rights, and there’s a very simple reason why. In rural areas, a gun has many different uses. Aside from self-defense, they can also be used for hunting, putting down injured livestock, and culling pests and predators. Plus, there are a lot more opportunities to shoot firearms recreationally in the countryside.
People who live in cities however, don’t have as much respect for firearms, because they don’t need them nearly as much. In the city, the only reason you’ ll need a gun is for self-defense, and even then it doesn’t seem very important to most urban dwellers. After all, why would you need a gun to protect yourself in a densely populated area, where a phone call can bring the police to your door in a few minutes? Life in the city is very different from life in the countryside, where it’ ll probably take a half hour or longer for the police to show up at your front door.
So is it any wonder why urban liberals don’t respect gun rights? They simply don’t think that they need guns. In their minds, the only justifiably reason to own a gun is negated by the fact that they can have an armed professional arrive at their home within a few minutes.
Unfortunately, they are very wrong about that assumption, because in many cities it can take the police a really long time to properly respond to a 911 call. That’s what happened to this Dallas resident, who was recently robbed at gunpoint in his home after his wife left for the airport.

Austria: Government About to Fall, Elections More Probable
Kurz sets out conditions to lead Oevp, looks to Macron model
(ANSA) — BOLZANO/BOZEN — The day after the unexpected resignation of Austrian vice-chancellor Reinhold Mitterlehner (Oevp) a fall of the government made up of Social Democrats and Populars early elections seem increasingly probable. The legislature will expire in autumn 2018. Meanwhile, the 30-year-old Foreign Minister Sebastian Kurz sets out the conditions to take over Oevp’s leadership, which is in “deep crisis”. In the event of early elections, Kurz dreams of a movement and a campaign similar to those which supported Emmanuel Macron’s election in France.
Kurz wants to avoid ending up like Mitterlehner, who fell victim to friendly fire, and asks to be given a free hand in managing the Oevp, currently characterized by overwhelming internal factions. Social Democratic Chancellor Christian Kern’s call for “a reforming alliance” is rated by the Populars “unbelievable” Der Standard daily reported. On Sunday, the leadership of Oevp could lead to the fall of Austrian government.

Brussels (ACN).- MEPs from different parties have criticized the way the Spanish State has used the court to tackle Catalonia’s pro-independence aspirations, particularly this week as the Parliament’s President, Carme Forcadell, and other members of the Chamber’s Bureau have been brought to court for allowing a debate on independence in the Parliament. According to Sinn Féin’s MEP, Matt Carthy, the Spanish State is “undermining its reputation across Europe” by taking public representatives to court. In a similar vein, European People’s Party MEP, Sipra Pietikäinen, said the reaction from the Spanish judiciary was “very strong” and called for “mediation” instead to overcome the current deadlock. Slovenian MEP Igor Soltes also criticized the EU role regarding these kinds of conflicts and lamented that “sometimes it is easier” for EU institutions to intervene “in foreign countries” such as Venezuela rather than doing so in Catalonia.

Italy: UBI to Make 1,569 Redundant in Good Banks by 2020
32% cut in staff, 140 branches to go
(ANSA) — Milan, May 11 — UBI Banca said Thursday it will cut staff in the three ‘good banks’ it recently took over by as much as a third by 2020. UBI plans to cut staff at Banca Marche, Banca Etruria and Carichieti by 1,569 units, or 32%, and close 140 branches while also optimising other administrative spending. (ANSA) — Rome, May 11 — Health Minister Beatrice Lorenzin said Thursday she had “ready” a bill making it compulsory for schoolchildren to be vaccinated. The number of compulsory vaccinations to allow a child to attend school would be widened, she said. Lorenzin said she had sent Premier Paolo Gentiloni the bill today and would take it to cabinet tomorrow. The move follows a sharp prise in measles cases amid vaccine skepticism, some of if linked to statements from the anti-establishment 5-Star Movement (M5S) which the M5S now disowns.

Former Obama DHS Official on ISIS Slaughtering Egyptian Christians: ‘What Goes Around, Comes Around’
A former Obama administration official at the Department of Homeland Security said Sunday that when it comes to the Islamic State slaughtering Egyptian Christians, “what goes around, comes around.”
In a tweet posted Sunday, Mohamed Elibiary, who formerly served as senior member of the DHS’ Homeland Security Advisory Council, stated, “Reading ISIS’s latest mag ‘otherizing’ Egypt’s Copts. Subhanallah how what goes around comes around. Coptic ldrs did same to MB Egyptians.”
“Subhanallah” is Arabic for “Glory to Allah,” and so in this tweet, Elibiary is expressing praise to Allah for the fact that ISIS is killing Egyptian Christians as apparent retribution for Coptic leaders doing the same to members of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt.

Caroline Glick: The PLO’s Most Powerful Lobbyists
In private conversations over the past week, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has complained bitterly about American Jewish billionaire Ronald Lauder. According to media reports, Lauder played a key role in convincing US President Donald Trump that he can reach “the ultimate deal” with the PLO and Israel.
Netanyahu is surely right that Lauder shouldn’t be acting like he knows what’s good for Israel better than the Israeli government does. He doesn’t know better than Israel’s leaders. And no one elected him.

Italy: Boldrini Says Palestinian Appeal Can’t be Ignored
(ANSAmed) — ROME, MAY 12 — Lower House Speaker Laura Boldrini on Friday said that the issue concerning inmates on a hunger strike that was raised by Palestinian National council president, Zuhair Sanduqa is “a huge problem that we know exists”, wrapping up the fourth summit of Parliaments of the Union for the Mediterranean (UfM) at the Senate in Rome.
“I think he was right in raising such an issue and that this is a place”, at a time when talks at a government level don’t appear to give the hoped-for results, that can “relaunch Arab-Israeli dialogue”.
Boldrini spoke about to the “heartfelt words” of the Palestinian delegate, Zuhair Sanduqa, who had called on the UfM assembly to help “the Palestinian population that is suffering”, “living under Israeli embargo” and “under a long-lasting occupation”, with “6,000 prisoners in Israeli jails, including women and children, who risk to die in the ongoing hunger strike”, which has been going on for over 25 days. The speaker said that “the new order of the Mediterranean — discussed by Italian Premier Paolo Gentiloni — implies the solution of the Arab-Israeli conflict”. She added that she believes “a parliamentary Assembly has the duty to discuss, to cooperate, to propose new ideas”.
“We cannot ignore this data, when we talk about sustainable development that must be widespread to everyone and must be based on democratic principles”, she stressed.
In this, Boldrini concluded, “the UfM assembly and the political Commission that we have can be invested of this theme that needs to be dealt with in order to be able to put together the issues that can relaunch the Arab-Israeli dialogue”.

Elderly Venezuelan protesters on Friday threw punches and yelled curses at riot police blocking the latest in six weeks of demonstrations against President Nicolas Maduro’s socialist government.
Riot police with helmets and shields used pepper gas several times to control the crowd as hundreds of pensioners jostled against security lines to attempt a march from a Caracas square.

On this side of the globe, the biggest controversy in scouting is whether or not a Girl Scout is biologically female. The Girl Scouts in the Czech Republic, however, have much bigger fish to fry. This past May Day, much ado was made about one Czech Scout, Lucie Myslikova, who dared to confront a Neo-Nazi demonstrator while wearing her scouting uniform. Google the event and you’ll get a slew of headlines about the teenager who “Stood Up to the Far-Right” and the photo of the “girl standing up to a skinhead” that went viral.
Get past the headlines, however, and you’ll find the story is a lot more complex than English-speaking media would lead you to believe.
Much of the coverage follows the line of the AP’s follow-up interview with Myslikova. The girl is passionate about politics and believes teenagers should have a voice in the public sphere. This wasn’t her first political rally; it was simply the first time she wore her Scout uniform to a demonstration. Her comments emphasized non-violence and non-judgement of the opposition. Of course, the World Organization of the Scout Movement jumped on the free publicity bandwagon, echoing the call for “diversity, peace and understanding.”
What, exactly, was she discussing with the skinhead? “The nation,” “borders,” and “migration.” The details of the discussion were quickly brushed aside by Western media anxious to highlight the image of a young woman confronting an adult male-something Fortune was so impressed with that they spun it into a montage of photographs of women staring down men at political rallies across Europe.

Libyan Navy Claims German NGO Hindered Migrant Rescue
Almost collided during operation
(ANSAmed) — CAIRO, MAY 11 — The Libyan navy on Thursday said that the German charity Sea Watch had hindered one of its rescue operations off Libya.
General Ayob Amr Ghasem, Libyan Navy spokesman, said that one of the NGO’s boats had sought to stop the rescue operation underway by a Libyan motorboat by threatening to ram into it, according to a document sent to ANSA by the spokesman. The incident occurred on Wednesday morning. The migrant vessel made of wood and carrying almost 500 migrants was intercepted “19 nautical miles north of Sabratha”, the spokesman said. When the ‘Kifah’ motorboat came close to the migrant vessel, the Sea Watch boat allegedly “changed direction in such a way to collide with” the Libyan Coast Guard said.
At the same time, the document added, the NGO boat sent a dinghy rapidly towards the boat. Given the “persistence of the Coast Guard vessel” in keeping to its route, the Sea Watch one “changed direction at the last minute to avoid colliding”, Ghasem said. On the basis of contact with the NGO boat, the spokesman said that there was a “German media team” onboard — Spiegel TV, according to Al Wasat — and “the organization protested”, by saying that Libya “isn’t safe for migrants”.
They have reportedly been taken to a base in Tripoli.
