Buy Gold, Sell Yuan to Brighten a Trump Year, Analysts Say

As Donald Trump prepares to take office next week, analysts predict a year of weaker yuan, rising prices in precious metals

Investors should sell the yuan and put their money into precious metals in 2017, as the presidency of Donald Trump may herald an era of potential trade conflicts and higher interest rates, analysts said.

The renminbi may weaken to 7.25 per US dollar in 2017, extending its losing streak for another year amid anxieties over Trump’s trade and economic policies and the likelihood that he would take punitive action against Chinese exports, according to the consensus of 10 analysts surveyed by the South China Morning Post.

George Soros Lost Nearly $1B in Weeks After Trump Election

George Soros, the billionaire hedge-fund manager and liberal financier, lost nearly $1 billion after becoming bearish after Donald Trump’s election victory, The Wall Street Journal reported.

The 86-year-old was cautious about the market prior to November’s election became more bearish after Trump’s win. So far, the bet was a mistake, and the stock market has risen about 9 percent over the past two months, the report said.

“Trump Memo” — Media Technique Revealed

The “Trump Memo” furor is an example of how the controlled media manufactures fake news by using a devious technique known as “leading with rebuttal”- whereby defamatory, unproved, and unprovable allegations can be publicized without fear of legal action, a former journalist with one of the large media corporations has revealed…

“However, the technique they use to avoid legal responsibility for publicizing the allegations is to employ something known as ‘lead by rebuttal,” the journalist said.

“This entails first getting ‘reaction’ to the allegations. This reaction can be from anyone at all, ranging from opponents or supporters of the target, but preferably the target himself.

“The media will then run this ‘reaction’ as the ‘news’-and insert the original allegations which have now been commented upon, as the excuse for publicizing the original claims themselves.”…

“In this regard,” the journalist continued, “it is significant to note that the controlled media only use this technique against those they do not like.

12 Years Later, Scientists Remember Epic Landing on Saturn Moon Titan

As NASA’s Saturn-orbiting Cassini spacecraft begins its final eight months of operation, scientists are looking back at one of the mission’s most dramatic moments: the landing of the piggyback Huygens probe on the huge moon Titan.

Huygens touched down on Titan’s frigid surface on Jan. 14, 2005, three weeks after separating from the Cassini mothership. It was a landmark moment in planetary science, mission team members said.

“The Huygens descent and landing represented a major breakthrough in our exploration of Titan as well as the first soft landing on an outer-planet moon,” Cassini project scientist Linda Spilker, of NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, California, said in a statement. “It completely changed our understanding of this haze-covered ocean world.”

Assange Would Agree to Extradition if Obama Pardons Chelsea Manning, WikiLeaks Says

WikiLeaks said Thursday that its founder Julian Assange will agree to be extradited to the U.S. if President Barack Obama grants clemency to Chelsea Manning.

WikiLeaks made the announcement on Twitter and remained adamant that the Department of Justice case against Assange was unconstitutional.

Assange has been hiding out at the Ecuadorian Embassy in London since June 2012 to avoid extradition to Sweden to face sexual assault allegations. According to AFP, Assange fears Stockholm would extradite him to the U.S. after WikiLeaks published thousands of secret cables from the U.S. military, which were leaked by Manning during his time as a U.S. soldier.

Manning is serving a 35-year sentence for handing more than 700,000 documents to the State Department. He’s currently being held at Fort Leavenworth in Kansas.

Caroline Glick: Obama’s Transparent Presidency

President Barack Obama promised that his would be the most transparent administration in US history. And the truth is, it was. At least in relation to his policies toward the Muslim world, Obama told us precisely what he intended to do and then he did it.

A mere week remains of Obama’s tenure in office. But Obama remains intent on carrying on as if he will never leave power. He has pledged to continue to implement his goals for the next week and then to serve as the most outspoken ex-president in US history.

In all of Obama’s recent appearances, his message is one of vindication. I came. I succeeded. I will continue to succeed. I represent the good people, the people of tomorrow. My opponents represent the Manichean, backward past. We will fight them forever and we will prevail.

Tuesday Obama gave his final interview to the Israeli media to Ilana Dayan from Channel 2’s Uvda news magazine. Dayan usually tries to come off as an intellectual. On Tuesday’s show, she cast aside professionalism however, and succumbed to her inner teenybopper. Among her other questions, she asked Obama the secret to his preternatural ability to touch people’s souls.

The only significant exchange in their conversation came when Dayan asked Obama about the speech he gave on June 4, 2009, in Cairo. Does he still stand by all the things he said in that speech? Would he give that speech again today, given all that has since happened in the region, she asked….

Charon is Pluto’s First Line of Defense Against Solar Wind Onslaught

Space weather can be a nightmare for planetary atmospheres, particularly for ones that don’t have a magnetic field to protect them — unlike Earth’s, which has a powerful magnetosphere acting as a shield. It might therefore be strange to hear that dwarf planet Pluto, which isn’t known for its powerful global magnetic field, is able to possess an atmosphere at all. But like other planets in the solar system, the sun erodes Pluto’s atmosphere — albeit at a slower rate than expected.

Although astronomical measurements detected the presence of an atmosphere at Pluto long before the NASA New Horizons flyby in July 2015, very little was known about how much was being eroded into space by the continuous stream of solar wind particles. New Horizons measurements, however, proved that the rate of atmospheric loss was 100 times less than expected and, in new research published this week in the journal Icarus, researchers think they know what might be protecting Pluto’s tenuous atmospheric gases.

Dead People Doled Out $2.6 Billion Worth of Food Stamps

Feds have ‘little assurance that retailers are who they say they are’

Dead retailers redeemed more than $2 billion worth of food stamps, according to a new audit.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s inspector general reviewed billions of transactions through the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), also known as food stamps. It found that thousands of stores authorized to accept food stamps were using the Social Security numbers of deceased persons.

An audit released Thursday found instances of potential fraud where the Food and Nutrition Service issued food stamps through stores that claimed to be owned by children or the dead.

Head of DC National Guard Removed on Inauguration Day

The commanding general of the D.C. National Guard, Major General Errol Schwartz, has been ordered to removed from his post on Inauguration Day after spending months preparing for the event.

The order is effective January 20, 12:01 p.m., which is when President-elect Donald Trump is set to be sworn into office, according to Schwartz who spoke to The Washington Post.

He also told The Post that “the timing is extremely unusual,” given that the commanding general is tasked with overseeing military operations, including air support, during the inauguration.

“My troops will be on the street,” he said, adding that he will “see them off but … won’t be able to welcome them back to the armory.”…

Mysterious Planet Nine May be a Captured ‘Rogue’ World

Planet Nine may be even more exotic than astronomers had thought.

The putative world, which some scientists think lurks unseen far beyond Pluto’s orbit, could be a former “rogue planet” that was captured by our solar system at some point in the past, a new study suggests.

“It is very plausible” that Planet Nine is a captured rogue — a world that cruises through space unattached to a star — lead author James Vesper, an undergraduate at New Mexico State University (NMSU), said Friday (Jan. 6) during a news conference at the 229th meeting of the American Astronomical Society in Grapevine, Texas.

Riot Stand Down: Obama to Fire National Guard Chief During Inauguration

Obama removes head of national guard as rioters shift to DC

Outgoing President Obama is reportedly firing the D.C. National Guard chief DURING the inauguration, which could lead to mass riots in D.C. — and threaten the life of President Trump.

Obama ordered that Maj. Gen. Errol R. Schwartz, a key figure overseeing riot control at the inauguration, will be removed from command Jan. 20, 12:01 p.m., just as Trump is sworn in as president.

“It doesn’t make sense to can the general in the middle of an active deployment,” said D.C. Council Chairman Phil Mendelson in response to Obama’s decision.

Well, it does make sense if Obama is trying to cause a National Guard stand down which will allow anti-Trump rioters to wreak havoc on DC.

Schwartz was blindsided by his firing and said he would “never plan to leave a mission in the middle of a battle.”

The situation is reminiscent of the Baltimore riots in which city officials with close ties to the White House ordered police to stand down and give rioters “space” to destroy property, which of course exacerbated the unrest to the benefit of their agenda.

Scientists Find the Brain Contributes to Stress-Related Heart Attacks

Higher activity in certain brain regions up your heart attack risk

The effect of constant stress on a deep-lying region of the brain explains the increased risk of heart attack, a study in The Lancet suggests.

In a study of 300 people, those with higher activity in the amygdala were more likely to develop cardiovascular disease — and sooner than others.

Stress could be as important a risk factor as smoking and high blood pressure, the US researchers said.

Terrorist Groups: American Charities Fund Them, and Should Stop

As the president-elect has repeatedly made clear, his first full day in office will be a busy one. He has promised to effect a wide array of changes. But what about his second day? If he has some free time, we have some suggestions. As the threat from international terror groups and homegrown radicalization increases, clamping down on domestic Islamist networks should be a priority. In particular: terror financing. Under the Obama administration, the federal government appeared to ease up on prosecutions of American Islamist charities linked to terror. This was a marked change from the years after 9/11, when scores of charities were shut down after prosecutors found financial and logistical links to terrorist groups across the globe. This effort culminated in 2008, when the Holy Land Foundation was tried in court on charges of financing terrorism. Federal prosecutors listed a considerable number of prominent American Muslim organizations as “unindicted co-conspirators.”

Trump Sticks Knife Into Dossier Story, Won’t Let Intel Community Off Hook

President-elect Donald Trump moved to bury once and for all the suspect dossier that surfaced earlier this week claiming the Russian government had compromising information on him, declaring Friday the details were concocted by “sleazebag political operatives” — while still not letting the intelligence community off the hook over claims they leaked it.

Trump started his Friday with a characteristic blizzard of tweets, largely focusing on the dossier controversy.

“It now turns out that the phony allegations against me were put together by my political opponents and a failed spy afraid of being sued,” he tweeted.

Trump’s CIA Pick: Islamic Terrorism is the Top Threat to Americans

“ISIS remains a resilient movement, has metastasized, and shockingly has controlled major urban centers”

Central Intelligence Agency Director nominee Mike Pompeo told Sen. Joe Manchin Thursday that international terrorism remains the highest near-term threat to the U.S.

Manchin pressed Pompeo during the appointment hearing on which threat was the highest to the U.S., and Pompeo specified that the international terrorism emanating from Iraq and Syria remained the most immediate threat to everyday Americans. Pompeo clarified that Russia, China, and North Korea also remain threats to the U.S.

Pompeo’s opening statement also placed heavy emphasis on the threat of Islamic terrorism to the U.S.

“ISIS remains a resilient movement, has metastasized, and shockingly has controlled major urban centers in the Middle East for well over two years.”

Why Are Wal-Mart and Boeing Laying Off Workers if the U.S. Economy is in Good Shape?

The stock market has been on quite a roll in recent weeks, but signs of trouble continue to plague the real economy. Earlier this week, I talked about the “ retail apocalypse” that is sweeping America. Major retail chains such as Sears and Macy’ s are closing stores and laying off workers, but I didn’ t think that Wal-Mart would be feeling the pain as well. Unfortunately, that is precisely what is happening. USA Today is reporting that approximately 1,000 jobs will be cut at Wal-Mart’ s corporate headquarters in Bentonville, Arkansas by the end of this month…

Walmart’s plan to lay off of hundreds of employees is the latest ripple in a wave of job cuts and store closures that are roiling the retail industry.

The world’s largest retailer is cutting roughly 1,000 jobs at its corporate headquarters in Bentonville, Ark., later this month, according to a person familiar with the matter who was not authorized to speak about it.

The company is saying that these cuts are necessary because Wal-Mart is always “ looking for ways to operate more efficiently and effectively” . But something doesn’ t smell right here. You don’ t get rid of 1,000 employees at your corporate headquarters if everything is just fine.

I have driven past Wal-Mart’ s headquarters in Bentonville a number of times, and it is in a beautiful part of the country. Bentonville and the surrounding areas had been booming, but it looks like times may be changing.

Meanwhile, there are signs of trouble out on the west coast as well. The Los Angeles Times is reporting that there is going to be a new round of engineering job cuts at Boeing…

Why Has the White House Suddenly Released a Strategy for Dealing With the Threat of a Catastrophic Meteor Impact?

Does the White House know something that the rest of us do not? As the Obama administration draws to a close, the White House has suddenly released a major document that details a multi-pronged strategy for dealing with the threat of a catastrophic meteor impact. Most of us remember movies such as “ Deep Impact” and “ Armageddon” that attempted to depict what such a crisis would look like, but up until fairly recently the U.S. government has never seemed to take this kind of threat very seriously.

So what has changed?

Of all the things that the White House could be focusing on, why this?

And this new report is just the latest in a series of measures that the government has taken over the past couple of years to help prepare us for incoming meteors and asteroids. The following is an excerpt from a recent Gizmodo article…

Wreck of 16th-Century Spanish Ship Found Off Florida Coast

The third of six sunken Spanish ships that were lost in a hurricane in 1559 has been discovered off the coast of Pensacola, Florida.

In the summer of 2016, the wreck of the ship, dubbed the Emanuel Point III, was found resting under the sand 7 feet (2 meters) below the ocean surface in Pensacola Bay. Archaeologists have found the ship’s hull, ballast rocks and ceramic artifacts in the wreckage. The ship was part of a failed colonization attempt by Spain that took place just 60 years after Christopher Columbus first sailed across the Atlantic.

“The shipwrecks themselves are giving us insights into these amazing machines they were developing for these voyages that were never really happening before,” marine archaeologist Greg Cook, of the University of West Florida, told Live Science.

Airbus Rallies Late to Take Sales Crown From Boeing

Airbus’ and Boeing’s fight for supremacy of the skies continue into 2016.

The two titans of the aviation industry have been going head-to-head with one another every year for the past two decades.

Both airplane makers posted solid numbers during the year, but Airbus rallied late to take the sales crown from Boeing with 731 net orders to Boeing’s 668.

The Toulouse, France-based company booked an incredible 321 net orders in the month of December to take the lead.

“We delivered on our objectives in a challenging environment, proving our ramp-up readiness for the future,” Airbus Commercial Aircraft president Fabrice Brégier. “I salute all our teams on this outstanding achievement.”

As a result, Airbus boasts a backlog of 6,874 aircraft valued at more than $1 trillion.

However, all was not lost for Boeing Commercial Airplanes.

The Seattle-based airplane maker delivered 748 planes to its customers during 2016 — 60 more than Airbus.

In addition, Boeing still boasts a healthy backlog of 5,715 planes.

Breakup of EU Could be Chance to Save Europe — Former Czech Pres. Vaclav Klaus

The European Union steps into 2017 burdened with huge issues — a never-ending flow of migrants, continuing euro zone woes, and tensions with Russia. Growing frustration with Brussels is threatening to challenge the status quo in the EU, and with elections coming up in key member states, alternative political forces could be one step away from power. Can the Union withstand the pressure? And when did the idea of a peaceful union of European nations become flawed? We ask the former president of the Czech Republic — Vaclav Klaus is on SophieCo.

Follow @SophieCo_RT

Sophie Shevardnadze: Former Czech President, Vaclav Klaus, thank you very much for being with us today.

Vaclav Klaus: Thank you.

SS: Now, Europe marks the 25th anniversary since the creation of the EU. Twenty-five years on, do you see the European integration process as a success or a failure?

VK: I am a very known critic of the European integration process, everyone knows it, so it will be no surprise to hear from me that I am not so happy with what has been going on, and I was very much in favor — it was still in the dark communist days — I was really in favor of the European integration process, but this process has been switched, transformed by the Maastricht treaty, 25 years ago, and especially now by the Lisbon Treaty, later, to something totally different, and I call this a move from integration to unification. This was the beginning of the negative, wrong development, as I see it.

Bronze Toy Offers Clues to Roman Racing Technology

According to a report in Seeker, Bela Sandor, professor emeritus of engineering physics at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, examined a highly detailed toy chariot discovered in the Tiber River in the 1890s. Sandor was able to use the dimensions of the model to estimate the size and weight of a full-sized racing chariot. He and Judith Swaddling of the British Museum also noted that the wheels of the bronze model, which is missing one of its two galloping horses and its charioteer, do not match.

Soros Foundation Vows to Continue Working in Hungary Despite Government Crackdown

Billionaire George Soros is being shunned by his own country, but he and his roster of activist groups won’t go without a fight.

Orban’s party has charged the Soros-funded groups are out to undermine the regime in Budapest and vowed to “sweep out” the NGOs.

The president of the ruling Fidesz party, Szilard Nemeth, told local media this week that Soros’ Open Societies Foundations, which funds scores of groups in Hungary, puts “political correctness over national government” and that the election of Donald Trump in the U.S. offers “an opportunity internationally” to crack down on these groups.

Why is Obama Moving Troops Into Poland and Provoking a War With Russia Right Before the Inauguration?

January 20th cannot come soon enough.

Instead of stepping back and trying to ensure a smooth transition for Donald Trump, Barack Obama has decided to go hog wild and use every ounce of presidential power still available to him. Pakistan: Sindh Rejects Law Against Forced Conversions, A Big Disappointment for Christians and Hindus

In November, the provincial assembly had adopted the law unanimously, outlawing forced conversion and marriage of minors. Every year about a thousand girls and young women are forced to repudiate their religion. Thirteen lawmakers who drafted the bill received death threats.

Lahore (AsiaNews) — The Government of Sindh Province (southeastern Pakistan) has rejected a law that punishes forced conversions with jail time, including life imprisonment.

Welcomed by Pakistan’s religious minorities as a real breakthrough to ensure full freedom of belief and bulwark against forced conversions, the bill was adopted unanimously by the provincial assembly last November.

Speaking to AsiaNews, Christian and Hindu activists expressed “great regret” and bemoan the dangerous step backwards.

“We can do nothing to prevent kidnappings and conversions of our underage daughters,” said Mukhee Lal Chand, president of the Hindu General Panchayat (Assembly) in Jacobabad District. “This is really an injustice. We really needed this law”.

Forced conversion to Islam, especially of girls, is a real scourge among Pakistan’s eight million Hindus. According to a report by Asian Human Rights Commission, at least 1,000 Pakistani girls are forced into Muslim marriages and made to convert to Islam annually.

Last week, Sindh Governor Saeeduzzaman Siddiqi rejected the Sindh Minorities Rights Commission Bill. Nand Kumar, a Muslim Member of the Sindh Assembly, had proposed the bill.

Under the new piece of legislation, anyone convicted of forced conversion would have to serve five years or life in prison. Forced conversion is common in Islamic marriages with the non-Muslim bride compelled to embrace her husband’s religion.

In the case of minors, the law would have required that no person should be deemed to have changed his or her religion until they attained the age of maturity, namely 18 years.

After the law’s adoption, Islamist parties criticised it as “anti-Islamic” and demanded its immediate repeal.

Senator Siraj ul Haq, a leader with the Jamaat-e-Islami, slammed the legislation as “an attempt to create unrest between Muslims and minorities.”

Thirteen lawmakers involved in drafting the bill, including three ministers, received death threats.

For Peter Jacob, a Catholic who heads the Centre for Social Justice, the rejection of the law goes against freedom of religion.

“We urge the Sindh Government to stay focused on social divisions,” he said. At the same time, “we ask for the support of the Pakistan Peoples Party in government. Those protesting have neither studied their religion, nor the Constitution of Pakistan.”

“Who has claimed the right to review the law does not own the whole of Sindh Province,” said Nasira Javed Iqbal, a former judge and Islamic human rights activist. “Everyone should take a stand on the minorities’ bill.”

‘Military Clash’ Looms Over Tillerson’s Tough Talk, China Warns

Sales of Top-End Face Masks and Air Purifiers Soar as Smog Continues to Cloak Northern China

Tmall sales more than triple during November as tens of millions of residents, particularly in Beijing, ready themselves to battle against the toxic air

Chinese consumers are snapping up record numbers of imported face masks and air purifiers online as they struggle to combat the north of the country’s lingering and smothering smog.

Sales of air purifiers and face masks on Alibaba’s Tmall cross-border market place more than tripled during November last year as tens of millions of residents across the country — particularly in Beijing — readied themselves to battle against toxic air, a time now annually dubbed the “smog season.”

Last month, the Chinese capital was blanketed in a grey haze that saw schools shut and vehicle use limited as its first “red-alert” was issued — an air reading deemed “hazardous” by United States standards.

Concentrations of airborne pollutants in one northern Chinese city exceeded a World Health Organisation guideline by 100 times at one stage.

Why is India Risking Chinese Anger by Trying to Sell Missiles to Vietnam?

SIGNALLING CLOSER TIES between the two nations, India and Vietnam are discussing the sale of the Akash missile system to the Southeast Asian nation. And China is officially not happy about it.

The fast-evolving relationship between Vietnam and India drew Beijing’s ire this week via the government mouthpiece Global Times, which described the Indian arms sale as “stirring up trouble”, and said China would “hardly sit with its arms crossed”.

Vietnam’s rationale is simple, according to Murray Hiebert, deputy director of the Southeast Asia programme at the Centre for Strategic and International Studies in Washington.

“Vietnam knows it can never stand up to China, but it figures it can inflict more damage on China if it bolsters its weapons hardware a bit more. And India, with its long-time strong relations with Vietnam, is a very willing partner,” he told This Week in Asia.

The Akash surface-to-air missile has a 25km range capable of targeting airborne vehicles — from drones to helicopters. It is one of a number of weapons India is planning to sell to Vietnam.

Both India and Vietnam share strategic concerns over China and wish to see a resolution to South China Sea sovereignty disputes. India has oil exploration operations in Vietnam-claimed areas of the sea. The two countries also have joint-exploration plans.

Professor Rajaram Panda, the Indian Council for Cultural Relations chair on Indian studies at Reitaku University in Japan, said: “It is obvious that both see China as the common perceived threat. China’s increasing belligerence and assertiveness on regional issues is also driving smaller states to reach an understanding on how to cope with China’s rise. China’s claim that its rise is peaceful is disputed because of its actions.”

Culture Etched on Our DNA More Than Previously Known, Research Suggests

Researchers claim they quantified non-genetic aspects of race and identity for individuals of same ethnic group

Common ancestry, common culture, common environment — all these factors contribute to the genomes of individuals of the same ethnic groups.

Now, for the first time, researchers say they have quantified the non-genetic aspects of race and identity for individuals of the same ethnic group.

In a study published in the academic journal eLife, researchers examined DNA methylation — fingerprints of DNA that can be inherited or altered by life experience and shape how our genes are expressed -among 573 Mexican and Puerto Rican children. DNA methylation reflects individual circumstances — for instance, PTSD stemming from traumatic experiences, air pollution from environmental conditions, after effects from maternal smoking, etc.

They identified 916 differences in methylation associated with Mexican or Puerto Rican ethnicity. Looking at that pool, the researchers identified that only three-quarters of the differences between the two ethnic groups could be explained by genetic ancestry.

Coast guards rescued 102 people in Malaga waters from January 1-3, while 2016 saw more arrivals than ever recorded. A total of 773 immigrants sailed to the Costa del Sol, more than triple the 207 who landed in 2015. At the height of the crisis in 2013 just 16 people made it.

That is just the tip of the iceberg. Across Andalucia coast guards rescued an unprecedented 258 people in just the first 72 hours of 2017. In 2016 a record 6,099 immigrants docked across Andalucia, more than all the other Spanish provinces combined.

Many of the immigrants who have landed in recent days will simply be released. Strict Spanish laws mean it is illegal to hold people without cause for more than 72 hours. The ‘Foreigner’s Centres cannot take any more pressure, meaning many are being let loose without even a cursory paperwork check. Spain promised to make room for 18,000 people, but in reality there is little space left and the Costa will bear the brunt of the consequences.

Why the Globalists Want Open Borders

Here’s why Muslim migrants are allowed into Europe

Ostensibly, the “immigrants” were brought into Europe to boost the economy and do the work that the citizens wouldn’t do. (Sound familiar?). Instead, they were put on the dole. They got free stuff while outbreeding the locals.

They brought their aggressive religion with them. Far too many refuse to assimilate. Why should they? Islam tells them that they are superior.

Today, Mohammed is one of the top names for newborn boys. Sharia courts are springing up unopposed. Western civilization is treated with disdain.

Women are raped and the police look the other way due to political correctness.

Why are we seeing this self-immolation by the west? Because lefty loons and George Soros want it.

They want to tear down western civilization to easily usher in globalism to Europe and America. We are beginning to see some push back. The Brexit vote and the election of Trump signaled that citizens have had enough, but there is much more to be done.

Soros needs to be arrested. Merkel needs to be thrown out of office. Mass immigration needs to end.

America Became a Lot Less Christian During the Presidency of Barack Obama

In 2006, Barack Obama famously said that “ we are no longer just a Christian nation” , and after the last eight years that is now more true than ever. The Pew Research Center has just released a major report entitled “ How America Changed During Barack Obama’ s Presidency” , and what struck me the most about the report was the fact that it showed that the United States became a lot less Christian while Obama was in the White House. Of course this trend did not begin under Obama, but it seems to have accelerated during his presidency.

In particular, the percentage of Americans that have no religion at all is really growing rapidly. According to the report, “ nones” now make up nearly a fourth of our entire population…

When it comes to the nation’s religious identity, the biggest trend during Obama’s presidency is the rise of those who claim no religion at all. Those who self-identify as atheists or agnostics, as well as those who say their religion is “nothing in particular,” now make up nearly a quarter of the U.S. adult population, up from 16% in 2007.

General Mattis Steamrolls Dem Senator on ‘LGBT in Military’ Questions

General James “Mad Dog” Mattis methodically mopped the floor with Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-N.Y.) as she attempted to corral him on questions pertaining to homosexuals in the military and women in combat during his confirmation hearing.

“Do you believe that allowing LGBT Americans to serve in the military, or women in combat, is undermining our lethality?” asked Gillibrand.

“Frankly Senator, I’ve never cared much about two consenting adults and who they go to bed with,” Mattis replied, bluntly.

“So… the answer is ‘no’?” returned Gillibrand.

“Senator, my concern is on the readiness of the force to fight, and to make certain that it’s at the top of its game,” he responded. “So, when we go up against an enemy, the criteria for everything we do in the military up until that point when we put our young men and women across the line of departure, is that they will be at their most lethal stance.”

“That’s my obligation as I move into this job.”

While Democrats may be obsessed with the subject of homosexuals serving in the military, they rarely discuss the apparent epidemic of sexual assaults perpetrated against men, by other men, in the armed forces.

According to an anonymous sexual assault survey released by the Department of Defense in 2013, scientific sampling indicates there were 26,000 victims in fiscal 2012 — 14,000 of whom were men. Of those 14,000 incidents, only 2% were perpetrated by women.

“It appears that the DOD has serious problems with male-on-male sexual assaults that men are not reporting and the Pentagon doesn’t want to talk about,” asserted Elaine Donnelly of the Center for Military Readiness.

The DOD released a report in 2015 estimating that 10,800 men are sexually assaulted every year, as opposed to 8,000 women, but that only 13% of victims report their attacks.

Additionally, the Daily Mail revealed that a report released by the American Psychological Association in 2015 indicates the Pentagon may be under-reporting male-on-male sexual assault rates by as much as 15 times, and that the “true figure could be as high as 180,000 sexual assaults, including 60,000 rapes.”

George Soros Funds Pro-Abortion Groups Organizing Anti-Trump March

A hodge-podge of various social activist and pro-abortion groups believed to be partially funded by George Soros are involved in coordinating the Women’s March on Washington next week, Breitbart reports.

Set for Jan. 21, the march’s four official founders do not directly list the billionaire as a contributor, but organizations sponsoring the event — including but not limited to the Sierra Club, Human Rights Watch and Planned Parenthood — receive millions of dollars in funding from Soros, according to the report.

Trudeau Promises to House Trans Inmates Based on Gender Identity

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau promised Thursday to ensure transgender inmates can serve their sentences in prisons based on their gender identity, just as a new Correctional Service Canada policy bars the practice.

Trudeau made the pledge in response to a question from a transgender woman and advocate during a town hall in Kingson, Ont., who described Canada’s current placement policy as “torture.”

Could Dark Streaks in Venus’ Clouds be Signs of Alien Life?

The question of life on Venus, of all places, is intriguing enough that a team of U.S. and Russian scientists working on a proposal for a new mission to the second planet — named Venera-D — are considering including the search for life in its mission goals.

If all goes as planned, an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) could one day be cruising the thick, sulfuric-acid clouds of Venus to help determine whether dark streaks that appear to absorb ultraviolet radiation could be evidence of microbial life.

  1. “In other news, migrants in Germany whose asylum applications have been turned down will be allowed to stay if they can prove that they have been beaten up by neo-Nazis.”

We should now gird our loins for the tsunami of self-reported neo-Nazi, race-hate violence. There’ll be selfie-pics of the bruises and scratches…and everything….

    • Yet they still vote for mutti Merkel!

When will the Germans awake from their stupor?

  2. “…will be allowed to stay if they can prove that they have been beaten up by neo-Nazis.”
Further proof, if we needed any, that the German government is intent on surrendering their nation and their people to the Islamic horde. Treason does not even begin to describe the evil they are perpetrating on the German people and the rest of the West.

    • Family says, he had a heart attack or as they say at the CIA:
      he had a “heart attack”.

    • “While they were trying to convert me to Islam, they told me of their plans. They talked about the renewal of the Caliphate. They talked about how Europe would be significantly Musilm in just a few decades. They glorified their terror. They were sure that they could destroy the culture of the “infidels”. “

      • And who would pay their ‘benefits’ then? Not to mention they would be living in these cold countries………..?

        • Well parasite/cancer kills the host body and with that die itself. The muslim parasites are no different.

    • For your info; Following the invasion of Lebanon in 2005 by Israel, the IDF (Israeli Defence Force) revised its position on how to use women soldiers after Hezbollah deliberately targeted a company of female soldiers that nearly caused a military upset for the IDF.

As a result of that near defeat, women are no longer permitted on the front line by the IDF.

I don’t have a reference, but you will find an explanation for that decision on the internet.

  3. Can this level of stupid really be fixed? 9/11 was a real first. I imagine the next hit will be absolutely wild. Now that we no longer respond to massacres, rapes, no go zones or truth of any kind I imagine the fifth column will ratchet things up a notch or two. A solution to this newclear enrichment would be to do something.

    • I agree, and they are doing something–importing millions more!

All western leaders appear to be taking stupid pills–there’s no other explanation! FGS, even ISRAEL takes them in!
