Gates of Vienna News Feed 11/15/2016

The Belgian interior minister has warned that Europe may have to deal with the return of up to 5,000 mujahideen as the Islamic State collapses. If both Mosul and Raqqa fall, all those “European” ISIS fighters may decide to return “home”.

In other news, a massive riot at an asylum center in Spain left three police officers wounded.

MPS to Launch 4.3 Bn PTO for Subordinated Bonds

Bank also to see NPL platform to Cerved Group

(ANSA) — Siena, November 15 — Struggling Italian lender Monte dei Paschi di Siena on Tuesday announced its intention to launch a voluntary public cash tender offer for 11 subordinated bonds to a total value of 4.3 billion euros. The offer is to be launched at the end of November, the bank said. The move is part of a broader recapitalization project for MPS which, in the event of failure, may have to be dissolved. On Tuesday the bank also announced that it had reached a deal for the sale of its non-performing loans platform to the Cerved Group for 105 million euros. Both initiatives were approved by the board of directors on Monday.

Trading in MPS shares was twice suspended on Tuesday morning after prices plunged on the news.

UK: Marks & Spencer Closing 53 Stores… Thousands of Jobs at Risk

U.S. retailers aren’t the only ones struggling. According to the Mirror Marks & Spencer has announced the closing of 53 stores leaving thousands out of work in the U.K. and abroad.

A list of Marks & Spencer clothing and home stores that could be closed has been released.

The high street store is shutting 30 outlets around UK and converting 45 others to Simply Food stores due to plunging half-year profits.

It will also shut 53 stores across 10 international markets — including 10 in China and seven in France, while pulling out of Belgium, Estonia, Hungary and Lithuania — putting around 2,100 jobs at risk.

A Glimpse Into the Swamp — A Very Dangerous Time in America

The following is a cursory investigative summary that explains the significance of the email “scandal” that erupted right before the 2016 election and how the Obama Department of Justice under Loretta Lynch worked in conjunction with the Hillary Clinton campaign to obstruct justice…

Testifying under oath before Congress in 2013, Hillary Clinton stated that she knew nothing about the weapons shipments from Libya and Qatar to Syria. Thanks to the release of John Podesta emails and other documents by Wikileaks, it is now beyond any reasonable doubt that she lied. Her actions resulted in not only the deaths of four Americans, including a U.S. ambassador in the September 11, 2012 attack in Benghazi, but the deaths of countless innocent people due to the destabilization of the Middle East.

Equally disgusting is that she and others used her position as U.S. Secretary of State, serving from January 21, 2009 through February 1, 2013 for personal enrichment through the Clinton Foundation, and again lied about it despite the revelations by Wikileaks.

Hillary Clinton not only lied under oath about the arms shipments, with a large number of those weapons coming into possession of ISIS as well as anti-Assad terrorists, but also lied to the American people about the attack at Benghazi, her emails, and many other related matters. This particular area of the swamp is not only deep, but crowded as well.

Black Fan Cheers Over 49ers Losses

Losing again this Sunday to the Arizona Cardinals, the San Francisco 49ers have lost 8 out of 9 games. I admit it folks. I am experiencing schadenfreude (feeling pleasure because of another person’s misfortune). I hope those jive turkey 49ers lose every game this season.

Colin Kaepernick, the 49ers biracial third string quarterback at the time, led/launched a nationwide movement of athletes from middle school to the pros refusing to stand for our National Anthem. Kaepernick said, “ I am not going to stand up to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses black people and people of color.” Kaepernick parroting America-is-a-hellhole-of-racism-for-blacks lie promoted by America-hating Leftists like Black Lives Matter

Kaepernick is parroting the America-is-a-hellhole-of-racism-for-blacks lie promoted by America-hating Leftists like Black Lives Matter. Leaks have revealed that anti-America billionaire George Soros paid BLM $33 million to divide Americans along racial lines and wreck havoc in our streets; riots, violence and etc.

Interestingly, Samuel L Jackson is worth $170 million, Oprah worth $2.8 billion, Beyonce worth $265 million, Kaepernick worth $22 million and numerous other mega-wealthy black celebs are helping to spread BLM’s anti-America destructive narrative to fellow blacks. Considering that America is the greatest land of opport.

Company Places Its Own CEO on Leave After He Threatens to Assassinate Trump

“I’m getting a sniper rifle…going to kill the president elect”

A company has placed its own CEO on leave after he threatened to assassinate Donald Trump using a sniper rifle.

Matt Harrigan is the CEO of PacketSled, a risk management company.

Harrigan caused alarm when he took to Facebook to angrily announce his plan to kill Trump after the Republican was elected president…

Harrigan later issued an apology on Facebook, claiming his words were a “joke,” but his colleagues at PacketSled failed to see the funny side.

“PacketSled takes recent comments made by our CEO, seriously. Once we were made aware of these comments, we immediately reported this information to the secret service and will cooperate fully with any inquiries,” the company announced on its website.

“These comments do not reflect the views or opinions of PacketSled, its employees, investors or partners. Our CEO has been placed on administrative leave.”

Finally, Obama Speaks: Americans Need to ‘Reconcile Themselves’ With a Trump Presidency

This is an amazing scene unfolding in America…

While the Democratic Party’s ‘community organizing’ machine helps ignite street protests, and even some violence, on streets nationwide for the last week — the Democratic President goes in front of the press this morning saying, “Look, the people have spoken. Donald Trump will be the next president.”

After a week of concentrated unrest, the President has been totally silent about street protests rejecting the election result — almost as a wink and a knod, quietly encouraging, or perhaps tempting a boiling point. When will President directly engage the American people on this issue?

Certainly, if this situation were reversed, the media would be demanding that a Republican president go to the American people calling for calm — and to accept the American media’s newly invented term, “the peaceful transition of power.”

Here’s Why Trump Picked Reince Priebus as Chief of Staff

Trump realizes isolation is dangerous

By selecting Reince Priebus as his Chief of Staff, President-elect Donald Trump is using an age-old strategy to keep former enemies close so they don’t rebel.

In short, Trump is keeping his enemies on a leash — and using them to his benefit.

The French King Louis XIV used a similar strategy when he compelled his nobles to live with him at the Palace of Versailles, which in effect denied them the opportunity to secretly meet and conspire against their king.

Is Microsoft Purposefully Degrading/Crashing Internet Explorer to Bully Users Into Upgrading to Windows 10 & Edge?

Having spent years burning through any remaining goodwill among its users still clinging to Internet Explorer, Microsoft is apparently having problems getting them to use its Edge browser that is part of Windows 10. Even after about 15 months and three upgrades, the market share of Edge is still minuscule.

Over the past 30 days on wolfstreet.com, per Google Analytics, our readers used these five browsers the most:

Chrome (41.4%)

Safari (27.2%)

Firefox (13.7%)

Internet Explorer (10.1%)

Edge (3.0%)

The bottom one is Microsoft’s new miracle browser that people refuse to use. And IE has dropped to 4th place with a 10% share. A few years ago, well, many years ago, before the arrival of Chrome, IE was the number one browser, having crushed Netscape during the First Browser War (being bundled with Windows did the trick).

Key Figures Purged From Trump Transition Team

The bloodletting in President-elect Donald Trump’s transition team that began with last week’s ouster of New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie escalated Tuesday with new departures, particularly in the area of national security, as power consolidated within an ever-smaller group of top Trump loyalists.

Former congressman Mike Rogers (R-Mich.) announced that he had left his position as the transition’s senior national security adviser. Rogers, a former chairman of the House Intelligence Committee and the leading candidate for CIA director, was among at least four transition officials purged this week, apparently because of perceived ties to Christie.

As turbulence within the team grew, some key members of Trump’s party began to question his views and the remaining candidates for top positions. Sen. John McCain (Ariz.) said Trump’s efforts to work more closely with Russian President Vladimir Putin amounted to “complicity in [the] butchery of the Syrian people” and “an unacceptable price for a great nation.”

Trump met Tuesday with incoming vice president Mike Pence, who replaced Christie at the head of the transition Friday, to discuss Cabinet and White House personnel choices. Little to no information was released by the transition office, leaving a clutch of reporters gathered in the lobby of Trump Tower in New York to hustle after team members passing between the front doors and the elevators.

As he had during the campaign, Trump appeared to be increasingly uncomfortable with outsiders and suspicious of those considered part of what one insider called the “bicoastal elite,” who are perceived as trying to “insinuate” themselves into positions of power…

More than 60% of the people arrested at recent anti-Trump demonstrations in Portland, Ore., didn’t vote in last week’s elections, according to a report.

At least 69 of the 112 demonstrators captured during marches against the incoming President-elect either were not registered to vote in Oregon or did not return their mail-in ballots, KGW-TV reported Monday. The revelations followed police accounts of violence and destruction at the protests.

Obama White House Already Leaking Detrimental Statements on Trump

Obama aides reported that Trump “seemed surprised at the scope” of responsibilities of the president, according to the Wall Street Journal

President Barack Obama met with President-elect Donald Trump Friday at the White House, and it didn’t take long for Obama to leak a negative spin on the meeting.

Obama aides reported that Trump “seemed surprised at the scope” of responsibilities of the president, according to the Wall Street Journal. Obama called for Democrats to “give Trump a chance to lead,” adding that “Trump’s success is our success.”

White House insiders also told the Journal that Trump was unaware that all of the staff at the White House would need to be replaced, but the fact that Trump staff created a website to fill over 4,000 jobs Friday means the Trump transition team knew a large number of posts would need to befilled in a relatively short time.

“The difference between President-elect Trump and a politician is that Trump puts a premium on making the right decision, not the politically expedient one,” a communications director for Trump told the Journal.

One Person Shot at Oklahoma City Airport

Suspect found in pickup with head wound, police say

(CNN) An hourslong manhunt ended when the suspect in the fatal shooting of a Southwest Airlines employee at Will Rogers World Airport in Oklahoma City was found dead of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound, police said.

The suspect was found in a truck in a parking garage, said Capt. Paco Balderrama of the Oklahoma City Police Department. The suspect, who was shot in the head, has not been positively identified.

Balderrama said the shooting was not random.

“It’s too early in the investigation to figure out the exact motive, although the crime does appear to be premeditated,” he said.

The captain said it appeared the suspect waited in his truck for the victim, a Southwest Airlines employee named Michael Winchester, to either arrive for or leave work.

Pro-Israel Artistthreatened With 5 Years in Jailfor Anti-Terror Posters at GMU

It’s not a story out of the Soviet Union though Oleg Atbashian, an artist, activist and commentator, had gotten in trouble for defying the authorities there too.

“Back in my Soviet dissident days, when I was collecting signatures in defense of Andrei Sakharov, I was screamed at, threatened, and lectured by the KGB and Communist funcionaries. What I never imagined was that in the United States, the land of the free, I would not only be subjected to similar treatment, but go to jail,” Oleg writes.

But that’s exactly what happened to him.

Oleg’s mixture of art and satire took off with Communists for Kerry. He’s the mastermind behind The People’s Cube and his tweaking of the radical left and its alliance with Islamic terrorists allowed him to continue the same fight he had pursued in the days of the Soviet Union. But as the US comes to resemble the USSR, political satire and activism carries a serious price.

This is what happened to Oleg when he put up some of his Freedom Center posters challenging the anti-Semitic environment created by the left’s alliance with Islamic terrorists on campus…

Report: Anti-Trump Protesters Block Ambulance; Father of 4-Year-Old Girl Dies

“I had a patient die because our ambulance was stopped by the protesters”

The father of a 4-year-old girl died after anti-Trump protesters blocked roads and delayed an ambulance from reaching the hospital, according to an anguished message posted on Facebook.

“I have to unfacebook for a few days. I had a patient die during a transfer last night because our ambulance was stopped by protesters and had to drive an extra 45 minutes around the blocked roads,” the anonymous post reads.

“I can’t today. They can give their f**king safety pins to my patient’s fatherless 4 year old daughter,” the post concludes.

The mention of “safety pins” is in reference to a campaign started by anti-Trump protesters to wear safety pins to “show support for the vulnerable” and to express the fear that Trump’s supporters “may physically or emotionally abuse minorities, immigrants, women and members of the L.G.B.T. community.”

Ryan Nominated for 2nd Term as Speaker, As Pelosi Rule Faces Potential Challenge

The internal wrangling in the parties over who will lead House lawmakers next year shifted dramatically Tuesday to the Democratic side, as party members delayed a vote on whether to keep Nancy Pelosi as minority leader — while Republicans nominated Paul Ryan for a second term as speaker with little drama.

House Republicans chose to keep Ryan as the leader of the GOP-controlled chamber, after rumbling in recent weeks that his leadership position could be in jeopardy.

However, after Donald Trump upset Democratic rival Hillary Clinton in the White House race last week, and Republicans held onto their majorities in Congress, opposition to Ryan melted away.

Safety Pins: Solidarity Symbol or Emblem of ‘White Guilt’?

The election of Donald Trump came as more than a shock for many opponents of the Republican businessman. After the results were tallied, fear spread that Trump’s more extreme supporters, emboldened by his victory over Hillary Clinton, would intimidate or attack people of color, women, immigrants, Muslims or members of the LGBT community.

The concern was not unfounded. Reports of hate crimes and election-related harassment have surged since last Tuesday. Critics allege that the president-elect has encouraged hateful behavior through his history of vulgar, racially charged and inflammatory remarks — a claim the Trump campaign has denied. Trump has urged people to “stop it.”

In an attempt to show their solidarity, Trump opponents across the country last week started fastening safety pins to their clothes and posting selfies on social media. The gesture was supposed to signify that the wearer was a “safe” ally, ready to stand up for anyone who might be the target of abuse, whether verbal or physical.

The goal is to form a strategy for dealing with Trump’s presidency, which they call “a terrifying assault on President Obama’s achievements”

Soros Prepares for Trump War

Soros and members of “Democracy Alliance” met in Washington, DC on Sunday

George Soros and his fellow liberal mega-donors are currently readying the post-Hillary Clinton Democratic party to oppose President-Elect Donald Trump.

According to Politico, Soros and other key members of the so-called “Democracy Alliance” met in Washington, DC at the Mandarin Oriental hotel on Sunday for the first day of the group’s three-day investment conference.

The Democracy Alliance has funneled upwards of $500 million toward liberal activist groups and candidates since Soros co-founded the group in 2005.

DA requires all members — which in 2016 includes more than 100 “finance titans” — to donate at least $200,000 a year to approved activist groups.

Still Not Over: Two Electors Launch Effort to “Flip the Electoral College” And Block Trump’s Win

The #NeverTrump crowd and plenty of bitter Hillary supporters are still hoping for a coup

OK, theoretically, everything will go according to plan, and Donald Trump will be the next president.

But technically, the (s)election hasn’t really taken place yet.

Presidential electors of the mystified electoral college must still actually vote for the president, and there isn’t anything to keep them from ‘voting their conscience’ and choosing someone other than Donald Trump.

Moreover, it appears that there is an active effort to flip the electoral college to deny Trump the presidency, and toss the White House to either Hillary or a GOP loyalist.

The #NeverTrump crowd and plenty of bitter Hillary supporters are still hoping for a coup, though even they admit it is a long shot — completely unprecedented and anything but likely.

Trump Gets Tough, Looks to Ban Muslim Brotherhood

President-elect Donald Trump is reportedly preparing to jumpstart a bill in Congress that would ban the Muslim Brotherhood by declaring it a terrorist organization.

Trump foreign-policy adviser Walid Pheres told Egyptian news outlet Youm7 that the legislation, introduced a year ago by U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, was held up due to the Obama administration’s support of the group. But Trump plans to back the bill.

Cruz’s bill, the Muslim Brotherhood Terrorist Designation Act of 2015-16, identifies the Brotherhood and three of its offshoots, including the Council on American-Islamic Relations and Islamic Society of North America, as a terrorist organization.

The Brotherhood is already banned as a subversive organization in Russia and at least five Arab countries, including Syria, Saudi Arabia and its home base of Egypt. And the Brotherhood’s self-avowed “Palestine” branch — Hamas — was added to the U.S. State Department’s list of foreign terrorist organizations in 1997.

With Ontario’s Expenses Rising Faster Than Expected, Government Raises Land Transfer Taxes

The government is expecting revenues to increase dramatically in order to compensate for higher than budgeted expenses. One measure included in the fall fiscal update is an increase to the land transfer tax on commercial, industrial, multi-residential and agricultural properties under $400,000, as well as a land transfer tax increase for homes over $2 million. This increase will be partly used to fund a rebate for first time home buyers.

“The government has already sold off huge assets like Hydro One to temporarily boost revenue. But with expenses growing faster than planned, it’s disappointing they’re looking to businesses and home buyers for more money,” continued Van Geyn. “While first time home buyers will benefit from a rebate, we remain concerned that this government continues to toy with the idea of doubling the land transfer tax in cities outside Toronto. We also remain concerned that other policies of this government will dramatically add to the cost of homes. For example, their requirement that all new homes with garages be built with electric vehicle charging stations,” continued Van Geyn.

“The government says it cares about making home ownership affordable. But once people get into their homes, many are finding that they can’t afford to keep them. With hydro rates among the highest in North America, people can’t even keep their lights on, and with the new cap and trade tax on home heating fuels like natural gas, it will cost Ontarians more to keep their families warm in the winter,” concluded Van Geyn.

Belgium Minister: Europe Must Prepare for 5,000 Returning Islamic State Jihadists

The Belgian interior minister has said a “wave” of between 3,000 and 5,000 Islamic State jihadists from Europe could return to the continent as the terror group rapidly loses territory in Iraq and Syria.

Speaking to state broadcaster RTBF on Sunday, Jan Jambon said: “We see that the Islamic State is under pressure in with the attacks in Mosul and Raqqa.

“Belgian fighters are there helping defend the IS strongholds… but we must be mindful of the fact that there are not only 200 of our countrymen there, but between 3,000 and 5,000 Europeans.

“All the intelligence agencies are trying to monitor the situation and exchange information. If the wave comes, we must be ready.”

The center-right Flemish politician was speaking almost a year after Islamic State terrorists, many of whom were born in Belgium and had travelled to and from Syria posing a ‘refugees’, committed a series of suicide bombings in Brussels, killing 32 civilians.

French Far Right Eager for US Site Breitbart to Hit France

Breitbart, the anti-immigration, anti-EU, anti-establishment US news site that supported Donald Trump is to launch in France with one job in mind — help get Marine Le Pen elected president. And her party are thrilled.

A leader of France’s far-right National Front said Tuesday that she welcomed reported plans by ultra-conservative US website Breitbart News to expand in France and support the party’s presidential campaign.

Breitbart News, whose anti-elite, anti-immigration agenda has made it popular with white supremacists, is credited with helping propel Donald Trump to the White House.

Trump named the executive chairman of the platform, Steve Bannon, as his chief strategist at the weekend.

Italy: Berlusconi Warns of Authoritarian Drift With Referendum Yes

Ex-premier casts doubts about Parisi role as centre-right head

(ANSA) — Rome, November 15 — The constitutional reform to be voted on in the December 4 referendum is “dangerous” and will lead to a greater “authoritarianism” if approved, former premier and centre-right Forza Italia party leader Silvio Berlusconi said Tuesday. He added that Premier Matteo Renzi “wants the legitimization that he has never had but the time has come for him to go home.” The reform calls for a move to a system with reduced powers for the Senate and a redrawing of powers between local and central institutions. The Senate would be less involved in law making — currently laws have to be passed by both chambers, making the process more time-consuming — and the number of senators would be reduced from 315 to 100.

If the ‘No’ vote wins, he said, “nothing will happen, like nothing happened with Brexit and Trump. ‘Yes’ supporters are lying when they say something will happen. We will move forward like now.” Berlusconi also discussed the leadership within the center-right, saying that Stefano Parisi, a businessman-turned-politician like the ex-premier, “wants a role in the center-right but, given disagreement with (right-wing Northern League leader Matteo) Salvini, I don’t think he can have it.”

Italy Has Blocked Revision of EU Budget — Renzi

Funding guarantees for ‘our priorities’ lacking

(ANSA) — Brussels, November 15 — Premier Matteo Renzi confirmed Tuesday that his government has effectively vetoed the mid-term revision of the European Union’s budget.

“As we had announced, today we imposed the first veto on the discussion of the Brussels budget,” Renzi said at Catania University. “Undersecretary (Sandro) Gozi did it in my name in Brussels”.

Renzi said Italy had vetoed the EU budget to stop Italian money being used to erect walls to keep out asylum seekers. “They wanted to leave the Sicilians to take the burden of immigration, of saving thousands of lives and finding solutions to a complex problem,” he said at Catania University. “And then they fill with money European countries that, not only do not respect an agreement that they have signed, but use our money to erect walls”

European Affairs Undersecretary Gozi had broken the news earlier, saying that Italy had “confirmed its reservation” against the proposed compromise made Slovak duty presidency on the mid-term revision of the EU’s multi-year budget. Gozi said Rome was effectively vetoing the revision because it considers unacceptable the failure to guarantee funding increases “for our priorities” — migration, security, youth unemployment and research programmes. Gozi was speaking at the fringes of an general affairs council in Brussels.

Gozi said Tuesday that Italy was tired of “ambiguity” and “contradictions” within the European Union, warning the bloc risks imploding unless it changes. “We are neither nationalist, nor populist,” Gozi said at the fringes of a general affairs council meeting in Brussels.

“But we are very tired of European ambiguity and contradictions. We are very tired of a Europe that says some things and then does not do them. “We are very tired of a Europe that is small on big things and big on small things. And we are convinced that, if Europe doesn’t change, we are faced with the start of European disintegration”.

Juncker Concerned About Trump, Campaign ‘Disgusting’

Isolationism not in interests of EU or US, EC president adds

(ANSA) — Brussels, November 15 — European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker said Tuesday he is “concerned” about United States president-elect Donald Trump.

“I don’t believe he will put a stop to Transatlantic relations, which are necessary for global stability,” Juncker said. “I can’t imagine that he will put into practice what he said he would do during the election campaign, a campaign which I moreover found disgusting,” he added.

Transatlantic relations on matters of security and defence “merit detailed analysis in accordance with the intentions of the president-elect,” Juncker said. The former premier of Luxembourg added that he had doubts about Trump’s “real intentions” concerning NATO, future US trade policy and his “temptation towards total isolationism”.

This “would not be in the interests of Europe or the United States,” Juncker concluded.

Pope Francis Calls for ‘Action Without Delay’ On Climate Change

Francis says no to political pressure in message to Cop22

(ANSA) — Vatican City, November 15 — Immediate action is needed to combat the impact of climate change that affects “all humanity”, Pope Francis said Tuesday.

Action must be taken “without delay and as freely as possible from political and economic pressure, overcoming individual interest and conduct,” Francis said in his message to Cop22 underway in Marrakech.

This is the “serious ethical and moral responsibility” implicit in the December 2015 Paris agreement on climate change, the pope continued.

The “worrying effects” of global warming “have an “impact on all humanity, particularly on the poorest people and future generations, who are the most vulnerable component”, Francis said.

UK: Boy, Four, Was ‘Sexually Assaulted in His School Toilets by a Gang of Ten-Year-Old Boys’ But Police Dropped the Case ‘Because All of the Pupils Blamed Each Other for the Attack’

A boy of four was sexually assaulted in his school toilets by a gang of older children but police ditched their inquiries after the pupils blamed each other, his family say.

The youngster was allegedly attacked at lunchtime by three 10-year-old boys who ‘made fun of him’, before one is said to have ‘smacked his bum’ and two others committed a sexual assault on him.

Police were called after he told his parents, and officers later took the boy’s clothes for forensic testing. He was then interviewed in a specialist evidence suite before police quizzed the Year Six boys allegedly involved in the attack at a Nottingham school.

But the alleged victim’s parents, who cannot be named for legal reasons, are said to be furious after hearing the case is to be dropped because of a lack of evidence, according to The Sun.

86% of the Cash in India Vanishes Overnight

This should be a wakeup call to any anyone who doesn’t have a little cash outside the system. According to this BBC report India has banned higher denomination bills in an effort to stop tax evasion, leaving anger and long lines at the ATM machines.

On 8 November, Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave only four hours’ notice that virtually all the cash in the world’s seventh-largest economy would be effectively worthless.

The Indian government likes to use the technical term “demonetisation” to describe the move, which makes it sound rather dull. It isn’t. This is the economic equivalent of “shock and awe”. Do not believe reports that this is primarily about bribery or terror financing, the real target is tax evasion and the policy is very daring indeed.

You can see the effects outside every bank in the country. I am in Tamil Nadu in the south of India and here, as in every other state in the country, queues of people clutching wads of currency stretch halfway down the street.

Mr Modi’s “shock and awe” declaration meant that 1,000 and 500 rupee notes would no longer be valid.

These may be the largest denomination Indian notes but they are not high value by international standards — 1,000 rupees is only £12. But together the two notes represent 86% of the currency in circulation.

Think of that, at a stroke 86% of the cash in India now cannot be used.

India: Controversial Islamist Preacher Zakir Naik’s NGOs Banned for 5 Years

GOI imposes ban on most anti-Hindu, anti-national and controversial preacher Zakir Naik’s NGOs including IRF.

Upendra Bharati | HENB | New Delhi | Nov 16, 2016:: At last controversial Islamist Preacher and infamous Televangelist Dr Zakir Naik’s NGO ‘Islamic Research Foundation’ has been banned for five years. The government has asked the law enforcing Agencies to maintain a strict surveillance on the activities of all establishments of the organisation connected with Naik, sources said.

The Government of India on Tuesday banned Islamic Research Foundation(IRF), the NGO of controversial Islamic preacher Zakir Naik, as an ‘unlawful organisation’ for five years with immediate effect under Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA).

After the ban imposed, the related websites of IRF and related agencies have been taken down from web viewing in India.

The so called ‘non-profit’ NGO was earlier placed under the “Prior permission category”, which stopped it from receiving foreign funds without getting nod from the Central government.

The strict decision was taken by the cabinet committee on security after Mr Naik was found to deliver provocative speeches.

Police have already been filed criminal cases against Zakir Naik for allegedly inciting young men — the action came after Bangladesh raised the issue with India following the terror attack on Dhaka’s Holey Artisan Cafe last July. Bangladesh had accused him of making speeches that could have incited some of the terrorists.

During investigations, it was also found that his foundation was accepting dubious funding which is used to make Peace TV — an arm of the IRF — to air provocative programmes…

Yes, Trump Will Have Broad Power to Crack Down on Immigration

So how big will Donald Trump’s wall really be?

The wall along the southwest border with Mexico was one of the president-elect’s signature campaign promises, as he railed against illegal immigration and vowed to seal the borders against criminals, terrorists and millions of people trying to enter the United States legally. Now, immigration experts are trying to figure out exactly how those policies will work in a Trump administration.

And so far, it looks like he will be able to follow through on many of his pledges — with or without help from Congress.

“Generally speaking, any president has wide discretion when it comes to enforcing our immigration laws because immigration touches on national sovereignty,” said Stephen Yale-Loehr, a professor at Cornell Law School and author of a 21-volume treatise, Immigration Law and Procedure.

Are You a Victim of ‘Mansplaining’? Men Who ‘Patronisingly’ Explain Something to Women in the Workplace Can Now be Reported to Union Hotline in Sweden

The term ‘mansplaining’ is used when someone explains something to another, usually a woman, in a manner regarded as condescending or patronising.

And according to The Local, the hotline will be manned by feminist politicians, comedians and scientists, who will advise women what to do.

  1. Imagine that. According to The Ministry of Truth In Terrorism, between
5,000 and 5,000,000 “Mujahideen” “Fighters” “Followers of the religion of peace” “Locals” “Radicalized young men, women, children and elderly parents and relatives” so on, are arriving “home” to a heros welcome. Shouldn’t these genocidal terrorist scum and their Muslim fellows be rounded up and sent to the countries whose occupants they tried to, and still want to, erase without a trace. All Muslims must be relocated to sharia controlled environments as their presence in any infidel society is a certain threat to life. Is this what western liberal education eventually does to the mind?

    • It does indeed, just look at what it’s done to ‘educated’ American students, (those who voted for Clinton) now out on the streets rioting because their sane countrymen and women had the thoughtless temerity to destroy their ‘safe space’ by voting in that terrible Trumpster!

Looks like it will take some more time before Europeans actually get the message that our ancestors got it right–moslems are NOT our friends, but the enemy!

      • An enemy who demands but gives no quarter. The scum of the earth. Respects nothing. Thieves, liars and losers. The old stereotypes were too kind. The truth has proven to be infinitely worse.

  2. With friends like obominaton who needs enemies. “Are ya’ll fired up yet!’ Please God he will just go away.

    • Just read what this loony-leftist Bildt said; he’s right there with Reinfeldt, Löfven and the rest of the “Killing Sweden” team. (apologies to Bill O’Reilly!)

  3. Oh noooo!!! 5,000 more mouths to feed, 5000 poor souls needing housing, spending money, clothes, amusements. What a terrible strain on the social resources 5000 returning, war-trained, aggressive, contemptuous helpless young victims will impose.

  4. “Germany on Edge: 200 Homes and Mosques Raided by Anti-Terror Cops in ISIS Crackdown”

Wait for it: these mosques have nothing to do with Islam.
