Business Loan Delinquencies Spike to Lehman Moment Level
Delinquencies of commercial and industrial loans at all banks, after hitting a low point in Q4 2014 of $11.7 billion, have begun to balloon (they’re delinquent when they’re 30 days or more past due). Across America, State Officials Are Rebelling Against Obama’s Transgender Bathroom Decree
Across America, local and state officials are pushing back very strongly against the Obama administration’s decree concerning transgender use of school bathrooms and locker rooms.
Pennsylvania lawmakers are the latest to criticize the Obama proclamation, which orders that schools “may not require transgender students to use facilities inconsistent with their gender identity or to use individual-user facilities when other students are not required to do so.”
Nearly 100 legislators in the state expressed their outrage in a letter to the president asking him to rescind the order immediately.
The Pennsylvania letter became widely disseminated on Wednesday. At roughly the same time, officials in Mississippi indicated that the Magnolia State will not follow the guidance issued by the Obama administration.

Symantec Antivirus Products Vulnerable to Horrid Overflow Bug
A vulnerability that results in instant blue-screening and kernel memory corruption without user action on Windows has been found in Symantec Antivirus Engine.
Whoever thought loading an anti-virus engine into the Windows kernel was a good idea should finally have proof that they were completely and utterly wrong.
That proof has arrived from Tavis Ormandy of Google’s Project Zero team, who discovered the Symantec Antivirus Engine was vulnerable to a buffer overflow when parsing malformed portable-executable (PE) header files.
“Such malformed PE files can be received through incoming email, downloading of a document or application, or by visiting a malicious web site,” Symantec said in its advisory on the issue dubbed CVE-2016-2208.
“No user interaction is required to trigger the parsing of the malformed file.”

This Popular Starbucks Frappuccino’s Color is Made of Ground-Up Bugs
In an unexpected and disheartening surprise, it turns out that the Strawberries & Creme Frappuccino at Starbucks got its pink-red color from cochineal extract, which is a fancy way of saying ground-up bugs.
The exact ingredients for the chain’s drinks were either not well-known or not understood, because it took one concerned, vegan barista to notice the ingredient for the red sauce that goes into the frap and take a picture for proof.
The barista then uploaded the photo to a vegetarian website called This Dish Is Vegetarian to reveal that, in fact, the Strawberries & Creme Frappuccino was not vegetarian.
Cochineal insects are native to Mexico and South America, living their tiny lives on prickly pear cactus plants. The female insects eat the red berries on the cactus and turn red from the juice, making their bodies one big concentration of red dye.
These females are harvested for about three months and are then collected to extract the dye.

Presumptive GOP nominee Donald Trump amped up his attack on Hillary Clinton Friday, saying that she is ‘ill equipped’ for the presidency and that her comments in reference to Trump’s proposed temporary ban on Muslims are ‘dumb’.
Trump issued a statement Thursday evening striking back at Clinton, after she suggested he is “irresponsible, reckless and dangerous,” “not qualified” to be president, and said that “Donald Trump is essentially being used as a recruiter for more people to join the cause of terrorism.”
“The fact that Hillary thinks the temporary Muslim ban, which she calls the ‘Muslim ban’, promotes terrorism, proves Bernie Sanders was correct when he said she is not qualified to be President,” Trump fired back.
“Look at the carnage all over the world including the World Trade Center, San Bernardino, Paris, the USS Cole, Brussels and an unlimited number of other places. She and our totally ignorant President won’t even use the term Radical Islamic Terrorism,” Trump’s statement continued.
“And by the way, ask Hillary who blew up the plane last night — another terrible, but preventable tragedy. She has bad judgment and is unfit to serve as President at this delicate and difficult time in our country’s history.” the statement said, referring to the downing of the Egypt Air flight on Wednesday.

LHC Atom Smasher Opens Quantum Physics Floodgates

Poland PM Says Will Never Bow to EU ‘Ultimatum’
Szydlo was responding to a Monday deadline set by the Commission for Poland to reverse a controversial overhaul of the country’s top court that has set off a fiery dispute between Warsaw and Brussels.

Dissolving Victims in Acid is Newest ISIS Execution Method
(Daily Caller) The Islamic State executed 25 prisoners by lowering them into a massive vat of highly corrosive nitric acid, according to Iraqi news reports.
All 25 victims were executed on charges of spying in the northern Iraqi city of Mosul, the de facto ISIS capital in Iraq. The mass execution is the latest abhorrent method used by the terrorist group. Other executions include public beheadings, crucifixion, lighting caged prisoners on fire and running them over with tanks.
“ISIS terrorist members executed 25 persons in Mosul on charges of spying and collaborating with Iraqi security forces,” said a local source in a statement obtained by Iraqi News. “ISIS put the citizens in a large tub containing nitric acid inside one of its headquarters. ISIS members tied each person with a rope and lowered him in the tub, which contains nitric acid, till the victims organs dissolve.”

Vietnam is the Focus of a Fight Between China and the U.S.

The German government’s focus on prosecuting its citizens for the hate crime of criticizing the migrant influx on social media rather than listening to their concerns is also likely to be a factor.

Islamic State militants are gearing up for a campaign of bomb attacks on large crowds in France, host to next month’s Euro 2016 soccer championships, its spy chief has said.
Rare remarks by Patrick Calvar, the head of France’s DGSI internal intelligence agency, to the parliament’s defense committee spelled out “a new form of attack … characterized by placing explosive devices in places where there are large crowds and repeating this type of action to create a climate of maximum panic.
The comments came six months after militants killed 130 people in coordinated assaults on cafes, bars, a soccer stadium and a music hall across Paris.
He said the militant group had the numbers to launch the new attacks, including some 645 French citizens or residents currently in Syria or Iraq, of which 400 were fighters. A further 201 were either in transit to or from the region, he said.

Hungary: US Wants to Fill Europe With Muslim Migrants
President Barack Obama and the United States favor illegal migration in Europe because they want to fill it up with Muslims, the chief of staff of Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said Thursday.
Janos Lazar also described Hungarian-born American financier George Soros as a standard-bearer for Obama’s immigration policies for Europe and said “certain American groups” want Europe to be “diluted … so Europe and America can cooperate without restraint.”
White House spokesman Josh Earnest said he was unaware of Lazar’s comments, but added: “I’m not sure they’re worthy of a response.”
Lazar called Soros a patron of former U.S. President Bill Clinton and Hillary Clinton, the current U.S. presidential candidate, and a Democratic Party supporter who was “ready to step up” against Orban.
“Not so long ago while visiting Europe, President Obama clearly spoke out in favor of the importance of migration, settlement and even the forced settlement (of migrants),” Lazar said at a news conference. Obama and America “are following a very strong pro-migration, pro-illegal migration policy in the interests of having as many Muslims as possible in Europe.”

Shocking Footage Shows Rioting Migrants Clash With Police at Refugee Camp
Refugees pushed a wagon against a blockade, forcing officers to fire tear gas at rampaging crowds.
A massive brawl broke out, as four tents in the camp were set on fire and rocks and stones were thrown at the police.
Idomeni camp, on Greece’s northern border with the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, is home to about 11,000 people.
Clashes in the camp are reportedly a regular occurrence as groups try to force themselves through the border and into more prosperous EU states.

Watch: ‘Worst Ever’ Riots Erupt at Greek Border Migrant Camp
Migrants on the border between Greece and Macedonia have rioted, lit fires, charged police and attempted to block a railway during a protest demanding open borders. Police responded with tear gas.
The camp on the border village of Idomeni has become home to around 10,000 migrants, more than four months after the Balkans route into northern Europe was shut off. Greek officials have recently announced their plans to evict the camp.
The migrants in Ideomeni have repeatedly resisted being sent to the new official camps, which have electricity and running water, as they do not want to be registered and plan to illegally break across the border.
Those that have made it to the new camps proceeded to riot and burn them down.
In late March, Ankara and Brussels agreed to close the so-called Balkan route, along which during the past year over one million migrants traveled through Greece and Macedonia to the other European Union (EU) member states in the north.

YouGov Poll: Only Two Per Cent of Men Aged 18-24 Feel Masculine
Young men in Britain are reluctant to identify as “masculine” and think the term has “negative connotations”, a YouGov poll has revealed.
According to the survey, only two per cent of male respondents aged between 18 to 24 described themselves as “completely masculine”, compared to 56 per cent of over 65s.
The results come at a time when, despite the fact women vastly outnumber men at universities, feminists are demanding male students sign pledges to tackle “laddish” behaviour.
Wales Online last year reported on a campaign by police, councils and universities to “crack down” on behaviour deemed “laddish.” Feminist Vicky Chandler called for “lad culture” to be tackled in children as young as those in primary school.
Describing the results as following a “generational decline,” YouGov found that younger respondents are increasingly reluctant to identify themselves as masculine.

Having taught a couple of all-male middle-school classes (small private school with 7-12 grades, but many students had learning/emotional disability diagnoses) as well as mixed-sex classes in a public school (up to and including a 38-student Algebra I class with 25 girls and 13 boys), I’m not sure what “laddish” behavio[u]r is.
1) Is it the inability to sit still for long periods of time in uncomfortable chairs/desks in the classroom? Schools were made for girls, as far as I’ve ever been able to tell, and boys suffer the Procrustean consequences. I told my all-male class that they could fidget all they wanted, up to and including standing by or behind their chairs, but the one thing they could *not* do was make noise and thereby disrupt other students. This worked remarkably well all year.
2) Is “laddish” behavio[u]r the spontaneous grouping of boys on the playground during lunch so they can play, say, basketball or football/soccer with only cursory adult supervision? while the girls just sit around talking, with maybe one or two girls joining the boys in the sporting endeavor(s).
3) Is it using louder voices than girls do in the classroom? Well, get a clue: boys are usually larger than girls–at least by middle school!–and thus have larger larynxes to support a louder natural, vs. trained, voice. Boys, of course, can learn to modulate their voices, just as girls can learn to increase their volume. It’s just a matter of learning.
4) Whatever obvious characteristic(s) am I missing here? And I can’t begin to conceive of what “lad culture” means….

QUOTE: Wales Online last year reported on a campaign by police, councils and universities to “crack down” on behaviour deemed “laddish.” Feminist Vicky Chandler called for “lad culture” to be tackled in children as young as those in primary school.
QUESTION: What is Ms. Chandler’s program for *un-laddishing” Muslim males? Will she be known as the “crack down” dominatrix whipping Muslim boys into feminist shape?
She’ll need to come up quickly with some organizing now that manly British men have been reduced to extinction levels. Who will protect the likes of Ms. Chandler when the horde of Muslim males swarm and overwhelm – from out of East London & Bedford?
The adjective ‘Laddish’ was originally used to describe a teenage female behaviour of going to the ‘pub’ drinking, getting drunk and then indulging in mild social misbehaviour, much as their male counterparts have done for centuries.
This morphed into describing the more anti-social part of male behaviour, again being drunk, urinating in public and generally being obnoxious.
It has now become an adjective to describe any non-feminised behaviour on the part of young males, particularly the penchant of young men to be rowdy and kick or throw a ball around.
In order to create a feudal state, the controlled violence which is epitomised in masculine behaviour must be demonized and immolated soon after puberty, hence the boy must never be allowed to attain his ‘manhood’ and become father (and defender) of a family. Rather he must become a non-entity; flitting from flower to flower, collecting nectar for the ‘good’ of the community. This is done by keeping the boy child constantly off balance and uncomfortable; always emphasizing the negative aspects of manliness and playing down the positives. So a natural boy meets girl, woos her and both live happily ever after is now impossible, it is now boy meets girl, get drunk, go to bed, get expelled for ‘rape’.
In the grand scheme of things, the fewer men, the better. Men are dangerous, they lash out violently when so motivated, and thinking men doubly so…..

Silly me. I thought *these behaviors* were defined in the word “hooliganism.” Loud, spontaneous, sporting play is so much more to be preferred than the “being drunk, urinating in public and generally being obnoxious” described in your previous paragraph.
“Men are dangerous, they lash out….” Yep. They do. Those who attack their intimate partners repeatedly and out of nowhere need to be prosecuted for assault, but those who *defend* their partners or their homes or their own lives or the lives of friends/compadres must be HONORED.
For the love of God; are these British…ah…women actually looking down the pipeline ten or even five years???

Apparently not : “Police confirmed the incident is not believed to be terror-related”.
The telegraph is alone as quoting a more detailed witness description of the perp as *shock* “very tall, unshaven, and dark skinned”. The journalists only describe him as a local man, but it turns out the perps name is reported to be *gasp* Ethem Aydin Orhan (or Orhon – ie identifiably Turkish).
So this dude runs around a parking lot and stabs women only (aged 62, 67, 71 and 53). Lucky he wasn’t targeting some protected group, so fortunate it was *just* a random amok and *not* a hate crime /sarc.
The Brit news sites are of course protecting the public interest by preventing any comments. Wouldn’t want any upset citizens jumping to conclusions and posting thought crimes after connecting some random dots together.

You will find below some information about this latest – and possibly last – serious book of mine, THE BIOLOGICAL ORIGIN OF EVIL. There are three elements.
The first is a somewhat provocative summary in half a dozen lines. My publisher has called me a “political commentator”. Some think, from my half-century of writing in Sweden, that I deserve the title “provocateur professionnel”. My interest as a social scientist has always been to come as close to the “truth” as possible. And truth is always provocative for the leaders of mankind!
The second part is the full introductory chapter, and the third is the book’s table of contents. The book has been published and cannot be changed, but I intend to continue studying these issues, health and age permitting, and I intend to add to relevant chapters of it news, responses to criticisms, changes and whatever else I deem of interest. Cynthia, perhaps I can help. Laddishness has a specific meaning in Britain where this story comes from and it is quite understandable that the feminist (are we on the fourth or fifth wave yet?) would want to stamp it out.
“A bit of a lad” used to be a term of approbation as long as it didn’t get out of hand. It referred to the kind of boy of whom it was said “boys will be boys” and who showed a bit of spirit.
More recently laddishness came to refer to a surreptitious rearguard action against the expectation that young men damp down the unfortunate traits which their fathers expressed without ambivalence. For instance until recently there were “lads’ mags” which positioned themselves somewhere between Scouts’ Weekly and Playboy. A “new lad” was a teenager who pretended to be a “new man” but only for the usual purposes. The programme “Top Gear” is the best example of laddishness in full grown men. It always sailed close to the wind with the BBC but was protected by dint of making a lot of money for them. Sadly the chief lad went too far and thumped a producer and the forces of anti-laddishness had their way.

I can’t decide whether my reaction to this new (to me) information is one of great sadness, great horror, or both.
Now I understand why some commenters have opined that “it may be too late” for the UK to re-assert itself. (esp. w/the Muslim Pakistani mayor of London)

These are the same people who found a way around the need for citizens of European countries to approve entry into the E.U. by referendum vote. When the voters proved not to understand how wonderful the E.U. is, these weasels colluded with national governments to accomplish their goals through treaties.
I wish Mary Ellen Synon were still writing about the E.U. No doubt she’s doing the Lord’s work within UKIP but I do miss her insights.
