We woke up this morning here at Schloss Bodissey to a Holy Saturday surprise. Sometime during the night it had snowed enough to cover the ground and all the tree branches with about an inch of snow.
It got quite cold last night, so this was a dry snow. The intial melting on top of the flowers and leaves had frozen, leaving a mixture of crunchy ice under the snow. This does not bode well for the peach blossoms.
Global Warming works in mysterious ways.
