ASU Gaza Camp Cleared, 69 Arrests Made, Most Not Students or Faculty: Officials
On Saturday, 69 people were arrested at the Arizona State University trying to establish a Gaza Camp to demand the university divest itself from Israeli companies.
An official with the university told 12 News, that most of the individuals that were attempting to set up the encampment were not part of ASU’s student body, nor were they faculty.
ASU began clearing the tents around midnight, and by 1:45 AM the last of the group had left. Three of the protesters arrested and charged with criminal trespassing were Michael Clancy, 20, Harry Smith, 19, and William Whitmire, 59.

Baltimore Business Sues Dali Owners for Negligence in Key Bridge Collapse
A Baltimore publisher is suing the companies behind the massive cargo ship that collapsed the Francis Scott Key Bridge last month, saying they were negligent for allowing an allegedly unseaworthy ship to sail ahead of the catastrophic crash that killed six people.
American Publishing LLC, based in Essex, filed the proposed class action lawsuit Thursday on behalf of other businesses in the Baltimore area impacted by the bridge collapse. Local enterprises dramatically cut back on placing advertisements in American Publishing’s publications since the bridge collapse, impacting its bottom line, the complaint says.
The complaint targets Grace Ocean Private Ltd. And Synergy Marine Pte Ltd., the Singaporean companies that own and manage the ship that brought down the Key Bridge. Tesla Attorneys Target Shareholder Trying to Stop Moving Musk’s Pay Fight to Texas
Richard Tornetta, who was at the center of Tesla shareholders’ claim that Elon Musk was taking an excessive pay package, is now at the center of claims that Tesla should not be reincorporating to Texas to approve Musk’s voided pay plan.
But Tesla is firing back at Tornetta. John Reed, one of Tesla’s attorneys, said in a Delaware Chancery Court filing this week that Tornetta “is raising false alarms”, according to Bloomberg.
Musk has considered relocating Tesla’s headquarters from Delaware to Texas after a judge revoked his substantial pay package due to conflicts among directors and inadequate disclosure of plan details.
In response, Tornetta is urging the judge to prevent Musk from addressing the pay dispute outside of Delaware. Despite this, no legal actions are currently threatened or pending in Texas, and Musk has not obstructed the issuance of a final judgment in the case, according to Reed’s letter to the judge.

At mass graves in southern Gaza’s Nasser Hospital, Palestinian authorities say they are uncovering bodies that bear signs of having been shot in the head, their hands bound by zip ties, stripped of their clothes, or buried in hospital gowns with tubes or needles still in their skin. Among the dead are women and children.
The remains found in the mass graves have raised questions about the circumstances surrounding their deaths during the months of intense fighting in and around Nasser Hospital. Israel denies wrongdoing but acknowledges exhuming bodies that had already been buried, then reburying them, in its search for hostages taken captive into Gaza during Hamas’ Oct. 7 attacks.
John Kirby, spokesperson for the National Security Council, on Thursday called the reports from Nasser Hospital “deeply disturbing,” adding that “we’d like to see this investigated.” Kirby said the White House was in dialogue with Israeli counterparts.

UK Looking to Deploy British Soldiers to Deliver Aid to Gaza Via Biden’s Floating Pier, BBC Reports
The United Kingdom is considering deploying British troops to deliver aid to the Gaza Strip following the construction of an offshore floating pier by the United States military, the BBC has claimed.
A report from Britain’s public broadcaster, citing unnamed government sources, the UK is making plans to send soldiers to drive aid trucks from the soon-to-be-completed pier to a floating causeway to the shores of Gaza.
While the BBC noted that no final decision had been made, with Prime Minister Rishi Sunak yet to give his approval, the report came after a senior military official from the United States said that there would be no American “boots on the ground” and that a so far unnamed third-party country will supply the manpower to drive the trucks and deliver the aid.

Putin Did Not Order Alexei Navalny’s Death, US Intelligence Finds
In a surprising turn, The Wall Street Journal has issued a new weekend report saying that US intelligence agencies do not believe that Russian President Vladimir Putin planned or ordered the death of opposition activist and politician Alexei Navalny.
“U.S. intelligence agencies have determined that Putin likely didn’t order Navalny to be killed at the notoriously brutal prison camp in February, people familiar with the matter said, a finding that deepens the mystery about the circumstances of his death,” writes the Journal.

Russia Renews Missile Strikes on the Ukrainian Energy Sector
KYIV, Ukraine (AP) — Russia launched a barrage of missiles against Ukraine overnight, in attacks that appeared to target the country’s energy infrastructure. Meanwhile, Russia said its air defense systems had intercepted more than 60 Ukrainian drones over the southern Krasnodar region.
Ukraine’s air force said Saturday that Russia had launched 34 missiles against Ukraine overnight, of which 21 had been shot down by Ukrainian air defenses.

In India, the Second Stage of the World’s Largest Elections Took Place
In India, the second phase of the world’s largest elections took place, during which the country’s Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, and his opponents exchanged accusations of religious discrimination and threats to democracy, against the backdrop of a decrease in voter turnout, Reuters reports.
It is expected that nearly a billion people in total will vote in the country’s general elections, which are taking place in seven stages. The elections began on April 19 and will conclude on June 1, with results expected to be announced on June 4.

20 Cambodian Soldiers Killed in an Ammunition Explosion at a Military Base
PHNOM PENH, Cambodia (AP) — Cambodia’s prime minister says 20 soldiers have been killed and several others wounded in an ammunition explosion at a base in the southwest of the country. Hun Manet said in a Facebook post that he was “deeply shocked” when he received the news of the blast on Saturday afternoon at the base in Kampong Speu province. It wasn’t immediately clear what caused the explosion. Images from the scene showed a destroyed building still smoldering, and soldiers receiving treatment in a hospital.

In a newly leaked audio recording, New Mexico Governor Lujan Grisham complained about Border Patrol agents who seized cannabis shipments and criticized Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas’ response to it. Grisham also complained about not having the agents at the border instead.

ICE deportation officers detained an illegal immigrant charged with multiple child sex crimes after he had been released on twice by Virginia authorities.

Staff at a Rwanda hostel earmarked since 2022 for asylum seekers are so bored waiting, they are dusting leaves from indoor plans and picking weeds from the lawn — to the tune of more £220 million of taxpayers’ money.
The Hope Hostel is one of several properties selected by the Rwandan government to house illegal immigrants who will be flown from the UK in July after PM Rishi Sunakvowed ‘nothing will stand in our way’.

A total of 25 men mostly of South Asian descent have been sentenced to a collective 346 years in prison over the “abhorrent in the extreme” rape, sexual abuse, and trafficking of girls between 1999 and 2012 in the North Kirklees area of West Yorkshire.
Operation Tourway, an investigation starting in 2015 focussing on the towns of Batley and Dewsbury, has jailed 25 men in connection to the “absolutely shocking offending” sexual abuse, rape, and trafficking of eight girls, whom the police said were treated as “defenceless commodities to be abused and traded at whim”.

A new video from a South Carolina school board meeting revealed that an 18-year-old trans-identified male has allegedly been using the female restroom and the girls are too scared to use it, even refraining from drinking water so they don’t have to go.

NYC to Pay $2.1M in Race Discrimination Settlement With Three Educators: ‘Toxic Whiteness’
The city will pay a total $2.1 million to three white Department of Education executives demoted under ex-Schools Chancellor Richard Carranza and replaced by less-qualified people of color, they charged.
Lois Herrera, Jaye Murray and Laura Feijoo — who will receive $700,000 each — reached a settlement three months after a judge ruled they “offer evidence of race-based discrimination in Carranza’s DOE,” paving the way for a June trial.

A Dutch channel has this introductory interview with Pelle Taylor (in English) on all sorts of issues, and when I hear it, it’s almost like hearing my own view of the complicated world we live in: Pelle Taylor warns against Swedish NATO membership : ‘Leads to War’. Watch the famous Henrik Jönsson’s 29 minutes. THAT is how bad it has gotten when a population is not mature enough to intervene when vandals tear down their land and walk away from them. It’s not that little.
Children and young people believe that the conditions they are born into are eternal and unchanging, but adults must know that the conditions also depend on their sense of responsibility. Were the Swedes ripe for popular rule? “Hardly”, one must say.
They have received hundreds of warnings without taking their hands out of their trouser pockets and now the price is being paid in the form of violence, death and increasing poverty. In the roughly 60 years I’ve been in Sweden, it’s a deroute so steep that nothing like it can be found in recent times.
Why don’t they take action against the vandals now, while many of them are still alive? Why do they still not want to take responsibility for their lives and the lives of their descendants? Are they waiting for Godot, miracle or God? The barbarians win, time is running out.
Academy member Horace Engdahl had a line several years ago that was both funny, clever and scary: “Germany is a Sweden for adults”. Scary because it makes me think of Golding’s Lord of the Flies, where a group of schoolboys are tasked with maintaining civilization, and fail miserably.
Sweden in the past generation is a parallel. What they must see now is whether there will be a new generation that will completely let go of a millennial nation, or that will be a building generation.
That the spirit of the times and Denmark have a close bond is evident from the fact that a cand.mag. on the literature side believes that William Golding’s novel is, among other things, about why “children are so mean to each other”. Ohhh…..say it doesn’t fit! It shows that really good books are like holding up a mirror in front of the reader, they show how much is inside – in him, that is.
“The head on the nail”, by Horace Engdahl. The Swedes are “peace victims” for 200 years of peace and 100 years of welfare. There is no experience in the country that the goods you own can be lost again.
It won’t be easy to survive. Perhaps that is why they have suddenly become so warlike and have joined the war alliance NATO just before closing time. I thought I was seasoned, but this just shook me.

Sweden and DK become barbaric banana states
Politics is nothing but fraud, hypocrisy, ineptitude

But the Swedes and Danes are daydreamers and sleepwalkers. The
love their TVs, cars and fix climate and multicultural ideas higher
than their children. And for 35 years in a row, the majority has not been able to see through
that their own politicians have nothing for them but false propaganda,
lie and betrayal, disaster and doom. Next chapter i
our history will be filled with idiocy, state terror and
death. Democracy only exists when many have the WILL to uphold it.
But since 1968, almost no one has wanted to spend time, energy, money and

Sweden is being transformed by immigration. Sweden’s rulers want the country to be a “humanitarian superpower”; but it ends up as a multicultural slurry tank.
If the current tsunami of immigration continues, in a few decades the Swedes will become a minority in their own Islamized country.
Currently, only approx. 25% of the asylum seekers and relatives who arrived many years ago, full-time jobs. Foreign-born, 20% of the population, receive almost 60% of the social allowance. The welfare state is and will be under enormous pressure. Swedish social losers are thrown under the bus to give cheap apartments and jobs to the butt-lifting clans.
In 2018, 16% of the Swedish population had a non-Western background, i.e. mostly Muslims.
