Time Out of Mind

I was away most of yesterday at a relative’s funeral. When I got back last night I was talking to Vlad — who had helped out by posting videos here while I was gone — and he asked me a question about Hizb ut-Tahrir. I told him what I knew about the group, and remembered that I had researched their ideology and written an article based on their own writings, so I went looking for a link to give him.

My old post was about the remarkable resemblance between the radical Islamic rhetoric and that of the Marxists (the link is to the old blogspot blog, because the formatting wasn’t preserved when this particular post was converted to WordPress). Modern Islamic fundamentalism, particularly the variety concocted by the Muslim Brotherhood and related entities, was a 20th-century synthesis of traditional Islamic doctrine and the fascist/socialist ideologies that dominated the interwar period. Much of the doctrinal boilerplate that comes out of the Islamintern today still has the whiff of “Keep the Red Flag Flying” about it.

Anyway, when I found the post link, I was surprised to discover that I had written it seven years ago. It brought home the fact that I’ve been churning out this stuff for the better part of a decade, and the situation in the West is still the same. In fact, it’s gotten worse.

As I said to Vlad, “Same s***, different decade.”

It’s going to be a long haul, comrades.

  1. Baron,

Stripping away the political perceptions (if that is the right word) it is the old conflict between good and evil.

  2. Islam is a thuggish religion. Marxism is a thuggish philosophy. Thugs of a feather plunder together, then mangle each other together. Which is no consolation whatsoever, because they do a lot of damage before then.

Marxists believe that they are unclogging history by undoing the western civilization at the hands of Islam. They despise Islam as much as I do, but they think Islam is a necessary evil to unclog history.

Muslims believe Allah has led the infidel senile for them to loot.

Who of the two is right? My bet is, Muslims are right.

This Marxist-Muslim alliance at a glance seems rather strange, but deeper they have the same fundamental belief: they both believe in plunder.

    • Check how much the Thuggee religion and Islam have in common. Same deception, same ruthlessness, same yearning for divine plunder, same blaming it on others, same look down on everybody else.

  3. There is something that has escaped the attention of all pundits about Marxism. Lenin was a christian orthodox from Kazan, a muslim-majority city. Stalin was a christian orthodox from Gori. Much more than marinated into islam. That’s how I explain their oriental cunning, plunder and ruthlessness, with their familiarity with all things islam.

  4. Muslim Brotherhood?
If I am not wrong Muslim Brotherhood party was crated in Iran as part of flourishing of Marxists in east Europe.

    • jhoover —

No, the Muslim Brotherhood (al-Ikhwan al-Muslimeen) is a Sunni-based organization. It was founded in 1928 in Egypt by Hassan al-Banna and six of his confederates.

      • Baron,
you are right, I don’t count too much on the Sec. let not forgotten during late fifties both Saudi and Iran give support for Muslim Brotherhood members most of them went to Saudis and other places.
One of the Muslim Brotherhood leaders, according to Eisenhower’s appointment book, was “The Honorable Saeed Ramahdan, Delegate of the Muslim Brothers.”* The person in question (in more standard romanization, Said Ramadan), was the son-in-law of the Brotherhood’s founder and at the time widely described as the group’s “foreign minister.” (He was also the father of the controversial Swiss scholar of Islam, Tariq Ramadan.)
In the battle against communism, In 1953 President Dwight D. Eisenhower met in the Oval Office with a group of Muslim delegates,. Said Ramadan is second from the right. Despite Central Intelligence Agency analyses of Said Ramadan were quite blunt, calling him a “Phalangist” and a “fascist interested in the grouping of individuals for power.” But the White House went ahead and invited him anyway.

Talking about Sec. lunatic Khomeini left Iraq to France he did not goes to any Islamic countries despite his hateful rhetoric’s about the west. The most recent contact Muslim Brotherhood was the meeting of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei with Kamal al Halbavi
Al-Sadat who was killed by a member Muslim Brotherhood when Iran prized him with name a main street in capital Tehran under his name!!

The use of the Muslim Brotherhood

  5. There is a very efficient way to fight islam. Draw a parallel between islam religion and thuggee religion. Bring to the fore the thuggee religious movement. Make books and films about it. Finally thuggee religion is indefensible, and it offers an example of a bad religion. So, there exist bad religions, and islam can be it. All the other similarities between thuggee and islam are metaphoric delights.

We better make thuggee a metaphor for islam, without ceasing to mention islam by name. We better compare thuggee deception and muslim deception daily.

  6. ILIA TOLI…

Take a peak at the parallels between islam and shintoism.

    They are astonishing.

Just start with suicide warfare… and carry on.

    • Actually Shintoism, whatever it is, is not thuggish. Most important, it is not discredited in the West. It means nothing to a westerner. Thuggee means a lot and is much simpler to digest. The comparison holds very closely between islam and thuggee.

      • You’d better take the time to spell that out — because you’re the first I’ve read who posits that thugs engaged in suicide attacks.

Their common reputation is as blood thirsty murderers.

        ====

Shintoism died in Tokyo Bay in 1945. The faith was gutted by military defeat.

Today’s Shinto priests are merely going through the motions — the general population of Japan now scarcely attends rituals that once held all in rapture.

The parallels between islam and Shintoism are profound, lengthy, and consequential.

Not so that of the thugs, which come up short on the world wide conquest drive that old Tokyo and Mecca have in common.

The thugs were a joke compared to the military elan of the Japanese.

  7. It will be a long haul indeed. It will go on until Armageddon, simply because we are fighting against the devil himself.

  8. Baron, the difference between now and seven years ago is that people are now taking notice. We CAN win.
