The four men in Sydney who allegedly planned to bomb a plane (and are now in custody) have been identified. They are Khaled Merhi, Khaled Khayat, Mahmoud Khayat and Abdul Merhi. Their alleged crime thus has a Mohammed Coefficient of 25% (but the Khaled Coefficient is 50%, an unusually high reading).
In other news, the Spanish maritime rescue service saved 60 migrants crossing the Strait of Gibraltar in three different boats.

Dad Stabbed to Death Defending Son at Metro Detroit Mobile Home Park
Police have identified the 49-year-old father who was stabbed to death inside a Huron Township mobile home park Sunday night as Robert Briscoe.
According to police, Briscoe was defending his teenage son from an attack when he was stabbed to death.
It happened around 10:30 p.m. at the Huron Estates on Inkster Rd. between King and West roads.
We’re told police were called to the scene when a group of teenagers were fighting in the street of the mobile home park.
The teens allegedly came to fight the victim’s son who was at the home.
An 18-year-old is in custody for the stabbing.

Dick Morris: Obama Working Directly With Media to Sabotage Trump
Ex-president has daily conference calls with MSM.
Political strategist Dick Morris says Barack Obama is directly feeding the mainstream media daily narratives in a bid to sabotage Trump from his war room two miles from the White House.
“Obama has set up a secret operation in a war room just about two miles from the White House where Michelle has her offices and so do many of the former aides to Obama,” said Morris.
“They meet there and they have a twice daily conference call…8:30 and 9:45 every morning and they develop talking points for the media for the day to how to sabotage and how to undermine Trump,” he added.
Former Health and Human Services head Kathleen Sebelius and Andrew Slavitt, former head of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services are both working with Obama and were instrumental in sinking Trump’s recent attempt to repeal Obamacare, according to Morris.
“It’s a war room, it’s just like in the middle of a campaign — it’s like the campaign never stopped and all of the key players are on that conference call,” said the political strategist.
Morris’ information confirms reports that originally emerged back in March when it was revealed that Obama was leading the charge to “oust” Donald Trump from the presidency by either forcing his resignation or through his impeachment.
The Daily Mail reported that Obama was being aided in his crusade by ex-senior advisor Valerie Jarrett, who moved into Obama’s nerve center just two miles from the White House to help him build momentum behind the “mounting insurgency” against Trump.
During a separate appearance on a radio show, Morris added that the entire “Russian collusion” narrative was “an attempt at a coup d’etat” by the intelligence community and the media to topple Trump.

Political Unmasking of Team Trump Must be Prosecuted

House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes revealed in a letter to Director of National Intelligence Dan Coats his concerns the Obama operatives had used national intelligence information for political purposes. House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes, R-Calif., has questioned whether Obama officials improperly sought the names of Trump transition members in this way — and, in the letter obtained by Fox News, Nunes provided new details about what his investigators have found.
“[T]his Committee has learned that one official, whose position has no apparent intelligence-related function, made hundreds of unmasking requests during the final year of the Obama Administration,” he wrote to Director of National Intelligence Dan Coats.
Only one request, Nunes wrote, “offered a justification that was not boilerplate and articulated why” the identity was needed for official duties.
Three of the nation’s intelligence agencies received subpoenas in May explicitly naming three top Obama administration officials: Former CIA director John Brennan, former national security adviser Susan Rice, and former U.N. ambassador Samantha Power.
This is nothing less than an attempted coup, sedition against the government of the United States by official sworn to uphold the Constitution. France’s only Islamic deradicalisation centre is shutting its doors permanently after less than half of the places in the programme were filled.
The radicalisation of young Muslims is a growing problem in France and other European countries. The French Interior ministry came up with a plan to “deradicalise” those who had fallen into the radical Islamist scene by setting up a “jihadi-rehab” centre, officially named the “Centre for Prevention, Reintegration, and Citizenship” in Beaumont-en-Véron last year.
The French Interior Ministry has just announced that the centre will close due to a lack of voluntary participation saying that they could only fill nine of the 25 places available L’Express reports.
Of the nine individuals who did volunteer to take part in the programme, none actually completed the course.

YouT ube blocked Polish anti-extremist channel run by Malgorzata Koraszewska. The channel broadcasted various films from extremist groups, mainly those found by MEMRI, with Polish subtitles added. The aim of the channel was to keep Polish society informed about the activities of extremists like hate preachers, ISIS and other similar groups.

UK: Police Link Meeting Someone at the Gym to Right Wing Extremism
Police have linked hanging out with someone you met at the gym to “right-wing extremism” in a simulation advertised Saturday.
The Bedfordshire, U.K. police department made the connection in a tweet advertising an online decision-making game called “Cross the Line,” which begins with the player meeting a friend at the gym and can end with the police arresting the player for beating up a Muslim.
The simulation begins with the player sharing an article detailing young people’s inability to find jobs. The player proceeds to go to a gym incorporating martial arts and is contacted the next morning by the friend.
“Hey it was good to meet u [sic] yesterday at the gym,” says the hypothetical friend, who belongs to a political group called “Youth Action,” in the simulation. “I’m going out tonight, wanna join?”

WikiLeaks Releases Macron Emails
WikiLeaks released more than 20,000 emails Monday related to Emmanuel Macron’s recent presidential campaign in France.
The release comes almost three months after Macron’s campaign was hacked two days before his election. The site released more than 71,000 emails — 21,075 of which have been verified through “domain keys,” an email authentication system, the organization said in a statement. The documents range between March 2009 and April 24, 2017.

White Helmets Fabricate Pretext for New U.S. Strikes
We’ve obtained an exclusive raw footage of White Helmets operating in unidentified location in Syria where allegedly the Syrian government forces had used CW or other banned weapons against civilians.
The source who had provided us with these videos speaking on condition of anonymity said they had been captured during a specop against Hayat Tahrir al Sham group (also known as Nusra Front) in Aleppo-Idlib frontier zone. A group of militants had been eliminated and the footage was found on their laptops, cameras and mobile phones which were in their baggage.
A number of noncompliances can be seen at the very first view, and it becomes clear the footage was staged and not ready to be released yet. For example, the same persons play ‘savior’ and ‘victim’ parts in the videos. They also change places, postures, adjust clothes etc.

Australian scientists at the Bureau of Meteorology (BOM) ordered a review of temperature recording instruments after the government agency was caught tampering with temperature logs in several locations.
Agency officials admit that the problem with instruments recording low temperatures likely happened in several locations throughout Australia, but they refuse to admit to manipulating temperature readings. On Friday, July 28, 2017 the US Federal Appellate Court in Washington in a ruling affirmed a District of Columbia Appellate Court ruling granting an award of $7.3 billion against Sudan. That was compensation for US and potentially non-US African victims in the 1998 Al Qaeda bombings that destroyed two US Embassies in the east African nations of Kenya and Tanzania. The Federal Appellate court ruling comes near the 19th anniversary on August 8, 1998 of the “simultaneous bombing at US embassies in Nairobi, Kenya and Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, killing 224 people. More than 5,000 were wounded. Twelve of those killed in Kenya were US citizens.” Sudan and Iran had been implicated in providing sanctuary, funding and training bases for Osama bin Laden and Al Qaeda terrorists,12 of who were indicted. Sudan continued funding Al Qaeda, after the alleged departure of Bin Laden in 1996.
These attacks were allegedly retribution by al Qaeda for US coalition forces “despoiling the holy lands” of Saudi Arabia during the First Gulf War in Kuwait against the regime of the late Iraqi strongman Saddam Hussein. The African Embassies bombings followed a similar revenge truck bombing at Khobar Towers on June 25, 1996 that were grounds for Bin Laden allegedly departing the Sudan. Alien Deported 20 Times Charged With Sexually Assaulting Women in Portland — a “Sanctuary City”
A Mexican national who has been deported by immigration authorities at least 20 times was arrested in Portland, Oregon, on July 24 and charged with robbery, kidnapping, burglary, and sexual assault against two victims, one a 65-year-old woman.
In March, Portland declared itself a “sanctuary city” for illegal aliens, meaning local law enforcement does not hold people in city or county jails on Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detainers or cooperate with ICE in enforcing any immigration enforcement actions.
Fox News reported that the illegal alien, Sergio Jose Martinez, who was armed with a knife, allegedly assaulted a woman in the basement of a parking garage, police said. The woman kicked him in the stomach and pressed the panic button in her car, and Martinez fled when authorities arrived.

Doctors Without Borders Reject Italy’s Migrant Rescue Rules
MILAN — Doctors Without Borders and others refused Monday to sign onto a new code of conduct drafted by Italy’s Interior Ministry for non-governmental organizations rescuing migrants at sea, as Italy seeks to increase security amid the unrelenting flow of migrant arrivals.
Italy’s government drafted the code after allegations emerged that some nonprofits were cooperating with migrant traffickers. Authorities have said that organizations that didn’t sign the code would risk being denied access to Italian ports.
Humanitarian groups sought changes in the government’s draft, objecting especially to rules requiring that they allow armed police to board their vessels and that they don’t transfer migrants to other ships, but bring them back to port themselves.
Doctors Without Borders director Gabriele Eminente said in Rome that the humanitarian group refused to accept allowing armed police aboard, saying the presence of weapons “conflicts with the principals we have throughout the world.”

Of the 7.5 billion people presently on this earth, the vast majority, mostly in the Southern hemisphere, and who are generally poor and backward, are trying to get to the Northern hemisphere, where there are greater opportunities and overly generous welfare states. In recent polls 7 out 10 people from these lands say, given the chance, they want to flee their plight.
The last decade has seen more refugees, migrants and economic immigrants than at any point in human history: tens, if not hundreds of millions. They are dying in transit, drowning on the Mediterranean Sea and suffocating in the back of trucks, as was the case, yet again in Texas this past week…
Human trafficking is big business. The International Organization for Migration estimates that more than 1,000,000 migrants arrived in Europe by sea in each of the last three years, and tens if not hundreds of thousands more, by land.
The numbers are astounding and only increasing. Some 5,000 new migrants arrive on the shores of Italy alone every day.

Smugglers Flying Migrants Into UK ‘And Charging £900 for Guaranteed Entry’

Toddler Suffers Hypothermia as Migrants Sneak Into Refrigerated Lorry
A TWO-YEAR-OLD child has been hospitalised with hypothermia after a group of migrants attempted to reach the UK in a refrigerated truck.
Security services in northern France discovered the unwell toddler during a routine search at the Loon-Plage ferry terminal.
According to reports from Europe 1, the boy — who was accompanied by his mother — was taken to a hospital in nearby Dunkirk for treatment.
A regional rescue services authority spokesperson said: “The ferry terminal security service contacted emergency services after the discovery of a group of 26 migrants in a refrigerated lorry.
The discovery of the child comes just days after seven migrants were found in a refrigerated truck in Indre in central France, suffering from hypothermia and dehydration.
Local media reports the men — believed to be of Afghan, Iraqi, and Iranian origin — snuck on to the refrigerated trailer in Spain.

Prospect Magazine writes about the problem with meritocracy. First Things thinks meritocracy is killing America. Feminist Philosophers comes out against meritocracy. The Guardian says “down with meritocracy”. Vox calls for an atack on the false god of meritocracy. There’s even an Against Meritocracy book. Given that meritocracy seems almost tautologically good (doesn’t it just mean positions going to those who deserve them?), there sure do seem to be a lot of people against it.
Some of these people are just being pointlessly edgy. The third article seem to admit that a true meritocracy would be a good thing, but argues that we don’t have one right now. This hardly seems “against meritocracy”, any more than saying we don’t have full racial equality right now means you’re “against racial equality”, but whatever, I guess you’ve got to get clicks somehow.
The other articles actually mean it. Their argument seems to be gesturing at the idea that elites send their kids to private schools, where they get all A+s and end up as president of the Junior Strivers Club. Then they go to Harvard and dazzle their professors with their sparkling wit and dapper suits. Then they get hired right out of college to high-paying management positions at Chase-Bear-Goldman-Sallie-Manhattan-Stearns-Sachs-Mae-FEDGOV. Then they eat truffle-flavored caviar all day and tell each other “Unlike past generations of elites, we are meritocrats who truly deserve our positions, on account of our merit”, as the poor gnash their teeth outside.
Grant that this is all true, and that it’s bad. Does that mean we should be against meritocracy?…

That’s Just Your Opinion: Moral Relativism and the Death of Liberty
Among my most hated cliche’s is one that you’ve undoubtedly heard countless times: “Everyone’s entitled to an opinion.”
It’s true, of course. Everyone does have the right to formulate and express an opinion of his choosing. What I hate about the phrase is that it implies that opinions are equally devised and should be measured as such.
It is an embodiment of the premise of Jonah Goldberg’s fantastic book, A Tyranny of Cliche’s: How Liberals Cheat in the War of Ideas, though I don’t believe it’s one of the many he tackles. It’s a pseudo-argument that’s not actually an argument — offered as pithy wisdom but serving no purpose other than shutting down further discussion about the substance being discussed.

You Will be Shocked When You Learn What Planned Parenthood Wants to Teach Preschoolers About Sex
What should we teach children that are three and four years old about sex? If you said “ nothing” in response to that question, that was the right answer. Exposing very young children to graphic material about human sexuality at a very early age can be extremely detrimental, but that is precisely what Planned Parenthood wants to do. And I am not just talking about run of the mill sexual education. Planned Parenthood has just released new guidelines for educating preschoolers that include entire sections about transgenderism and masturbation. And remember, U.S. taxpayers are paying for all of this, because Planned Parenthood receives about 500 million dollars from the U.S. government every year. The Republicans have control of the White House, the Senate and the House of Representatives, and so there is absolutely no excuse for not defunding Planned Parenthood as soon as possible.
When I first learned about these new guidelines, I was absolutely stunned. Little children that are three and four years old are just learning to put sentences together, and yet Planned Parenthood wants them to start learning about sexuality and gender roles at that age? What Should be Done to RINOs Like John McCain That Betray US Over and Over Again?
Ha – I wasn’t watching the american news, but if this information is correct, and McCain backstabbed efforts to repeal obama-care, I would like to inform you that our German-owned Czech mainstream media just pulled off a few articles about the war-hero and “true man” and so on.
And in other “discussion forums” – couple of days ago I noticed a strange change in the behaviour of our resident trolls, in my special corner of the internet. They switched sides!
The very same trolls who I know supported hillary and were against trump, and beaten everybody who said he doesn’t like refugees or gays or whatever – now, out of a sudden, they are “right wing”. Still against Trump though. Their new rhetoric is such that Trump is Hitler, and Hitler was a Socialist, so everyone who supports Trump is a socialist!
Couple of days ago was a memorable day when I was called a SJW for defending Trump in online discussion. Wow – I thought to myself!
So why have they changed sides?
I was just thinking about Senator McCain’s vote not to repeal Obamacare. Here is a conjecture: About the same time that it was announced that John McCain has an illness which will take his life, Trump announced that he was ending the CIA program that supports so called “moderate rebels” seeking to oust Assad in Syria.
McCain is a big supporter of these so called “moderate rebels.” Its pretty clear that McCain wants Assad out. My conjecture is that McCain’s vote was to “stick it” to Trump because of Trump’s policy in Syria. And if McCain’s vote burned some bridges, well McCain doesn’t care for he won’t be around much longer.
If that explains McCain attitude, well then I have some expletives in mind that describes McCain.
We also have the announced death of American playwright and actor Sam Shepard (aged 73) of complications from Lou Gehrig’s Disease (ALS).
I’ve never been a big fan of Shepard’s staged studies of American anomie. However, his 1984/1986 songwriting collaboration with Bob Dylan, the 11 minute epic “Brownsville Girl”, is a minor (A major, actually) masterpiece in which the singer–Dylan, masterfully–inserts himself into the classic [lots of superlatives, innit?] Gregory Peck western film “The Gunfighter” as, like Peck’s character “Ringo”, a person whose notoriety condemns him to a life as a perpetual target of those seeking to cut him down.

Re “What Should Be Done About […] John McCain.” He should be incarcerated at Guantanamo as a belligerent lone wolf non-combatant working for the enemy.
Re ‘Alien Deported 20 Times Charged With Sexually Assaulting Women in Portland — a “Sanctuary City”.’
1) The senior state and municipal politicians who invoked and continue to maintain the illegal ‘sanctuary cities’ should be prosecuted for criminal negligence in the discharge of their duties.
2) These politicians should also be tried in court for being accomplices to assault and rape of those who have been, and will be, victimized as a result of the illegal policies.
3) Rape and assault victims, and the families of murder victims, should launch lawsuits seeking damages in the 10’s of millions of dollars for what they’ve suffered as a direct result of said policies.
We should do everything possible to destroy the careers and lives of these corrupt politicians who defy the law and cause enormous human suffering in the service of their immoral, unAmerican leftist ideology.
Re “Sunday’s Phony Election in Venezuela Installs Marxist Dictatorship.” Leftists can start cheering now that another nation has a Marxist thug regime. They can cheer as 1,000’s are rounded up and sent for re-education, as 100’s are killed in the streets, as prominent opposition figures are rounded up and disappeared. They can cheer on such routine measures that are always put in place under Marxist and liberal fascist regimes. Are the liberal fascist opponents of President Trump any different? Doesn’t their routine lawlessness and their efforts to delegitimize the legally and duly-elected Head of State of the USA amount to the same thing? Their actions amount to treason.
If the Trump Administration does not directly respond to their lawlessness and subversion, then ordinary people will rise up against the fascist tactics of the Democrats and their GOP enablers in Congress. Violence by patriots against such traitors will be far less than the coming violence in Europe where the people have largely acquiesced to leftist abuses of state power by the EU and its enablers in national legislatures.
There is no escaping violence given the damage that the left has deliberately inflicted in both Europe and America.
“No escaping violence …” that is the leitmotiv of many discussions on this forum. I subconsciously find myself mulling over this statement – perhaps every day. Europe is my land of birth, its culture is in my genes, its art enlightens my days – yet I have to be rational and agree with you: there is no plausible European scenario avoiding violence at the point of tipping.
(My little devil inside just started to push me into a profitable enterprise: smuggling arms to Sweden … what a mischievous inner voice :-))
