A Suspect in the Fatal Shooting of 18 in Maine is Still at Large. Residents Are Sheltering in Place

LEWISTON, Maine (AP) — Authorities carried out a multistate search on land and water Thursday for a U.S. Army reservist who they say killed 18 people and wounded 13 in a mass shooting at a bowling alley and bar that sent panicked patrons scrambling under tables and behind bowling pins and gripped the entire state of Maine in fear.

Schools, doctor’s offices and grocery stores closed and people stayed behind locked door in cities as far away as 50 miles (80 kilometers) from the scenes of Wednesday night’s shootings in Lewiston.

President Joe Biden ordered all U.S. flags to be flown at half-staff as condolences poured in from around the nation and at home, including from Maine native and author Stephen King, who called it “madness.” The attacks stunned a state of only 1.3 million people that has one of the country’s lowest homicide rates: 29 killings in all of 2022.

The shooting suspect, Robert Card, is considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached, authorities said at a news conference. Card underwent a mental health evaluation in mid-July after he began acting erratically during training, a U.S. official told The Associated Press.

American Oligarchy: Meet the Billionaire Mega-Donors Behind the Biden Presidency

Liberals used to decry the influence of money in politics. But in Joe Biden’s America, we have seen the rise of a noxious new generation of left-wing donors. I identify some of the biggest power players in Joe Biden’s American in my book New York Times bestselling book Breaking Biden.

Joe Biden is the quintessential oligarch. He has empowered America’s moneyed elite, and they have empowered him. Biden’s 2020 campaign was the first to raise over $1 billion. Democrats raised $600 million more in “dark money” than Republicans in 2020. Look for those numbers to explode even higher in 2024.

Biden Demands ‘Assault Weapons’ Ban After Maine Shooting, Despite Suspect Likely Being Banned From Owning Guns

Democrat President Joe Biden has responded to the tragic mass shooting in Lewiston, Maine by demanding a ban on so-called “assault weapons.”

However, the suspected gunman, 40-year-old Robert Card, was likely already banned from owning firearms due to his record of mental health issues.

Nevertheless, Biden called on Congress Thursday to ban “assault weapons” and high-capacity magazines following the “senseless” mass shooting.

The president is also pushing for other gun control measures that target law-abiding gun owners.

George Soros and Bill Gates-Funded Aspen Institute is Hit With Censorship Collusion Lawsuit

Previously, the lawsuit was directed exclusively towards the Election Integrity Partnership (EIP) and Virality Project (VP), two entities implicated in the systematic suppression of digital free speech during electoral seasons.

It’s alleged that the Aspen Institute, EIP, and VP have worked in concert with various tech powerhouses and governmental bodies, launching a concerted attack on free online expression during both the 2020 and 2022 electoral periods. Maine Shooting: Robert Card’s Motive for Bowling Alley and Bar Massacre Revealed

He had grown paranoid that people in the town were talking about him

Following the mass shooting that took place on Wednesday night Lewiston, Maine, USA , people are wondering what could have driven someone to commit such an act.

The suspect is called Robert Card and an arrest warrant is out for the 40-year-old, who is the subject of a huge manhunt.

The shootings, which have killed at least 18 people and injured many more, took place at the Just-in-Time Recreation bowling alley and at the Schemengees Bar and Grille.

It is believed that those two venues were not chosen at random, as people who knew Card have spoken about his paranoia from the last few times he attended both sites.

Family members suggest Robert Card’s motive for the Maine shooting

Katie Card, who is married to Robert Card ‘s brother, has spoken about the suspect’s mental health and about how he was paranoid that people were gossiping about him the last few times he visited the Just-in-Time Recreation bowling alley and at the Schemengees Bar and Grille.

“I have known Rob my whole life and he is quiet but the most loving, hardworking and kind person that I know,” Katie Card said, speaking to The Daily Beast.

“But, in the past year, he had an acute episode of mental health, and it’s been a struggle.

“He truly believed he was hearing people say things.

“This all just happened within the last few months. Things have kind of gone downhill recently.

“We tried to listen to him and tell him that nobody was talking about him.

“Yesterday, as the story was unfolding, we prayed that Rob had nothing to do with this. But, when we heard the two places where the shooting happened, my husband rushed home.”

It seems, therefore, that Robert Card had developed a grudge against his neighbors who had also spent time as these two leisure spots.

Massachusetts Lawmakers Pass Sweeping Gun Bill Months After 6-3 Supreme Court Decision

Authored by Jack Phillips via The Epoch Times (emphasis ours)

The Massachusetts state House of Representatives approved a sweeping gun law that aims at restricting more firearms and cracking down on AR-15-style rifles—after a unanimous coalition of police chiefs in the state publicly opposed it.

The measure, which passed in a 120-38 vote on Oct. 18, prohibits people from carrying firearms into other people’s homes without their consent. It also would force major gun components to have serial numbers, which would be registered with the state of Massachusetts, while also expanding the state’s “red flag” law that allows a judge to suspend the firearms license of someone who is considered a risk to harming others.

New U.S. House Speaker Opposes Gender Ideology, Ukraine Funding

The U.S. House of Representatives has elected Mike Johnson, a congressman from the conservative wing of the Republican Party and a staunch Trump ally as its new speaker. The 51-year-old lawmaker from Louisiana was the fourth candidate for the position after the House ousted its previous speaker, Kevin McCarthy, three weeks ago.

Although the Republicans have a majority in the lower chamber of Congress—with 221 seats compared to 212 for the Democrats—there has been a lot of infighting between the party’s moderate and conservative wings, with the latter more aligned with former President Donald Trump. This led to the deposal of McCarthy, who had only been in the job for ten months, after eight Republican lawmakers sided with the Democrats to vote against him. The rebellion was led by Matt Gaetz, a Republican who accused the speaker of making a secret deal with the White House to continue funding Ukraine in its war against Russia.

Poll: Joe Biden’s Approval Among Democrats Sinks 11 Points to Record Low in One Month

President Joe Biden’s approval rating sunk eleven percentage points among Democrats in just over one month amid destabilization in the Middle East, a Gallup poll published Thursday found.

Biden’s approval among his party plummeted from 86 percent to a record low of 75 percent, as the Democrat party struggles with large swaths of support for Palestinians, many of whom sympathize with the Hamas terrorists, Axios reported:

Biden is at risk of alienating members of his own party with his unequivocal support for Israel, which has carried out a weeks-long bombardment and total siege of Gaza in response to Hamas’ Oct. 7 terrorist attacks.

An annual Gallup poll conducted in February found that Democrats sympathized more with Palestinians than Israelis for the first time in the survey’s two-decade history.

EU Preparing Aid Package to ‘Stabilize’ Egypt

Commission President Ursula von der Leyen is working on an aid package for Egypt as a measure against growing migration across the Mediterranean Sea. Part of the EU’s motive, according to a senior diplomat, is to stem a potential new flow of refugees from Gaza. The Egyptian government, meanwhile, has made it clear that it has no plans to accept refugees from Gaza, and that the deal precedes the ongoing war between Israel and Hamas.

While details of the aid package and its requirements for Egypt has not been made public, it would reportedly mirror the controversial and ultimately failed agreements with Tunisia to prevent dinghies heading towards Europe.

Former EU Commissioner Accuses Brussels of Green “Neocolonialism”

The European Commission has been accused of weaponising a green policy on the world stage to implement aggressive trade policies, admitted a former Brussels top energy official in remarks attacking the work of Commission President Ursula von der Leyen on Wednesday, October 25th.

Günther Oettinger, a German CDU-aligned politician who served in various top Commission jobs, including as Commissioner for Energy between 2010 and 2014, made the comments at an economic summit hosted by the Baden-Württemberg regional representation in Brussels, accusing von der Leyen of reneging on her previous policies of cutting back on regulation.

Oettinger referenced a type of “neocolonialism made in Brussels,” describing how the EU was cynically trying to enforce its green standards across the world to its economic advantage, as he highlighted growing disunity among top Eurocrats regarding the rollout of the Green New Deal and diplomacy.

French Leftist Coalition Falls Apart Over Israel-Hamas War

The side effects of the war in Israel have contributed to the break-up of the left-wing NUPES coalition formed during the 2022 elections, notably due to differences of opinion on the support to the Palestinian cause. Socialists and communists criticise the La France Insoumise party for its excessive complacency towards Hamas and the Muslim electorate in France.

The NUPES (New Popular Ecological and Social Union) coalition was formed in the wake of the Left’s failure in the April 2022 presidential election. For the second time in a row, the French Left failed to field a candidate capable of reaching the second round of the presidential election. It has therefore put in place a new strategy of unity for the legislative elections in June 2022 in order to present joint candidates between the different parties: La France Insoumise, the Socialists, the Ecologists, and the Communists.

They knew they couldn’t stop me when it comes to talent,” the devout Sanatani Hindu cricketer Kaneria said.

(ANSA) — ROME, OCT 26 — A fishing boat carrying 347 migrants and refugees landed on Lampedusa on Wednesday night after being rescued and accompanied to port by coast guard and finance police patrol boats.

The 25-metre vessel carrying people from Bangladesh, Pakistan, Egypt and Syria had departed from Libya.

The group said they had paid between 4,000 euro and 8,000 euro for the crossing.

The new arrivals took to 356 the number of migrants and refugees currently in the first-line reception ‘hotspot’, after the facility had been almost empty for several days following a let-up in sea arrivals due to bad weather.

  1. Jaroslaw Kaczynski was not responsible for the defeat of the Law and Justice Party (PiS), but rather the European Union’s money. Duda and party bigwigs wanted to bargain with the EU for funds in exchange for resolutely supporting Ukraine. Until then, Poland maintained its understandable animosity towards Russia, not only because of its genocidal past, but also because of its recent warlike and criminal, perhaps terrorist, acts. However, the person who signs the check is the one who has the advantage; As a weak and dependent country, with no desire to be sovereign and self-sufficient, Poland looked for a way to adapt to the new Supreme Soviet, and hand over its sovereignty, so that the population would not notice. At least that portion that foolishly believed in these politicians to guarantee their peace.

Proof of this vile betrayal is given by the fact that both President Duda and his minister, Mateusz Morawiecki, openly spoke about giving life to the European Army, proposed by Macron. Minister Mateusz clearly said that Poland wanted a New World Order in these military terms. Poland was encouraged by the war, and resolutely supported it, without caring about the costs, but only aiming to show the readiness of a vassal, who in addition to wanting his sum in 30 pieces of silver, would also give his sovereignty to Germany as a bonus. , through its complete integration (disintegration I would say) into the European Army.

PiS did not lose the election, it delivered it, so that Andrzej Duda could make pacts with Donald Tusk, and thus Poland would once again become a satellite state of Germany.
