Canadians Reeling From the Effects of Inflation on Grocery Bills

The latest Consumer Price Index (CPI) report shows that grocery prices are up 9.1% in Canada.

Edible fats and oils are up 19.4% since this time last year, according to Statistics Canada. Oranges were not far behind, with the report citing a 16.5% increase. Other notable foods that remained heavily inflated include baked goods and cereals, along with both frozen and dried vegetables.

96% of U.S Climate Data is Corrupted, Study Shows

Amid the recent rise in fear-mongering reports from the corporate media driven by the globalist green agenda, many rarely look at the legitimacy of the data that these doom allegations of a so-called “climate crisis” are actually based on.

Much of the panic-inducing claims of a “climate emergency” we hear from in the media, often supported with scary red and fire orange-colored weather maps, are mostly based on corrupted data.

Bill That Would Push for Online ID Checks is Scheduled for Markup This Week

The Senate Commerce Committee will convene on Thursday to deliberate the contentious Kids Online Safety Act, a bill that, if passed, would cause platforms to introduce ID verification for users and significantly reduce privacy online.

Despite the law’s admirable aims to regulate the way online platforms display content and ads to under-17s, its implementation could potentially jeopardize privacy, with platforms potentially needing to introduce ID checks.

Senators Richard Blumenthal (D-Connecticut) and Marsha Blackburn (R-Tennessee) initially relaunched the bill in May. The law calls for online platforms to adopt “reasonable measures” to mitigate the known risks associated with underage users engaging with social media platforms, such as online bullying, depression, and eating disorders.

Bipartisan Senate War on Drugs Bill Targets Private Messaging

Ignoring the fact that end-to-end encryption is protected by the First Amendment, a bipartisan legislative effort is under way in the US to pass a bill that would undermine end-to-end encryption (E2E) on social media and other internet services.

This is being explained as necessary for the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) to more effectively enforce its drug policies but would kill private messaging for everyone.

The act is named after Cooper Davis, a young fentanyl victim who made his purchase via Snapchat. The legislation’s name itself looks like it was carefully chosen to deflect attention from the anti-privacy implications in its provisions, and make the debate based more on emotional appeal.

Commerce Sec’y: China Targets Our Companies, Steals IP, But We Have to Try to Trade With Them, ‘Which Creates Jobs’

On Friday’s broadcast of CNBC’s “Squawk on the Street,” Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo stated that during her planned trip to China, we have to lay out “our really serious concerns” about China’s targeting of American tech companies and concerns “about the way they don’t respect intellectual property,” but also have to “try to find lanes of commerce where we can do commerce, which creates jobs in America.”

After Raimondo stated that she is still planning to travel to China despite a reported hack of the Commerce Department by Chinese hackers that included a breach of her email and reported hacking of U.S. Ambassador to China Nicholas Burns’ email by Chinese hackers, co-host Sara Eisen asked, “What are you hoping to accomplish on a trip?”

Dingell: We’ve Warned About Chinese Autonomous Vehicles Gathering Data, But There Are Still No Rules

On Friday’s broadcast of MSNBC’s “Way Too Early,” Rep. Debbie Dingell (D-MI) warned that there isn’t any regulation on the kind of data China gathers from autonomous vehicles on American roads or where it goes despite the Biden administration being warned about the issue.

Dingell stated, “Well, first of all, we have got to get autonomous vehicle legislation done in this country, because it’s a competitive issue. We cannot cede our leadership on mobility to any other country. We put the world on wheels and we have to stay at the forefront. China is in this country. It has more than seven [companies] that have AVs being tested on the roads gathering data. We are not in any way, shape, or form regulating the kind of data, where it’s going, what they’re collecting. And yet, China does not have reciprocity. We are not allowed to bring our AVs, sell our AVs, or test our AVs on China roads.”

Suspect in Unprovoked Stabbing Shot to Death by Police in DC Suburb, Police Say

SILVER SPRING, Md. (AP) — A police officer in a Washington, D.C., suburb shot and killed a man after reports he had, without provocation, stabbed four people at random on Saturday, officials said.

The victims included three women — two were stabbed in the neck — and a man, all of whom are expected to survive, Montgomery County Police Assistant Chief Darren Francke told reporters during a Saturday afternoon news conference at the scene. Three were hospitalized with injuries.

The suspect’s identity has not been released.

Francke said the man used a 12-inch butcher knife in the stabbings, which started at a popular thrift store in Silver Spring, Maryland, and then continued in the surrounding neighborhood. While the investigation is ongoing, Francke said, detectives don’t believe the suspect knew any of the victims. He said the attacks appear “completely random.”

“We have witnesses. We are continuing our interviews, but at this point it was an unprovoked attack,” he said.

Coutts 4 Denied Bail, Remain Behind Bars for 523 Days Without Guilty Verdict, Lawyer Discusses Judicial Issues

Anthony Olienick, Chris Carbert, Chris Lysak and Jerry Morin were charged with conspiracy at the Coutts Blockade and will be back in court on July 25 for what is expected to be a pre-trial hearing.

The four men were arrested on February 13 and 14, 2022, during the Coutts border blockade. The Coutts, Alberta and Sweetgrass, Montana crossing was blocked by truckers and farmers in protest of COVID-19 mandates. They face charges of conspiracy to commit murder, possession of a weapon for dangerous purpose and mischief over $5,000.

Many argue the right to a timely trial and bail has been violated for the accused. All four men were denied bail in 2022, with the reasons for the decision protected by a publication ban.

Multiple Publications Bans and Disclosure Issues in Coutts 4 Case, 4 to be Back in Court July 25

It has been 524 days since Anthony Olienick, Chris Carbert, Chris Lysak, and Jerry Morin, were arrested and charged during the Coutts Blockade.

Multiple publication bans have been issued, and the crown prosecutor continues to fail to provide timely and complete disclosure. Those involved will be in court next week, but it will likely take much longer than that for these men to no longer be held in pre-trial custody. The four men were supporters of the Coutts Blockade and attended the 18-day peaceful demonstrations, which blocked the largest international border crossing Alberta has with the United States.

Nova Scotia Floods Cause ‘Unimaginable’ Damage; Four People Missing

The heaviest rain to hit the Atlantic Canadian province of Nova Scotia in more than 50 years triggered floods causing “unimaginable” damage, and four people are missing, including two children, officials said on Saturday.

The storm, which started on Friday, dumped more than 10 inches on some parts in just 24 hours — the same amount that usually lands in three months.

The resulting floods washed away roads, weakened bridges, and swamped buildings.

“We have a scary, significant situation,” said Nova Scotia Premier Tim Houston, adding that at least seven bridges would have to be replaced or rebuilt.

“The property damage to homes… is pretty unimaginable,” he told a news conference.

The Cost to Convert Canadian Power Grids to ‘Net-Zero’ is $1.7 Trillion: Report

Alberta’s UCP forewarned voters in May of the “costly” shift to a “net-zero” electricity grid by 2035. UCP Energy Minister Brian Jean claimed the policy would cost billions and decimate the economy.

Now an independent, third-party report has confirmed those suspicions true. It’s far worse than the party initially predicted.

According to a report by the Public Policy Forum (PPF), the cost of the federal government expediting a ‘net-zero’ electricity transition would exceed the country’s entire economic output. It would cost $1.7 trillion, more than the country’s expected GDP in 2023.

What Used to be a Gem of a Park Situated in Downtown Toronto is Now a No-Go Zone Thanks to Dangerous Squatters

But what isn’t so gem-like is the parkland of Allan Gardens itself. It has been taken over by a tent city, and for whatever reason, the city is doing nothing to remove dozens of illegal squatters. Many who dwell here are drug users; it is not unusual to see someone imbibing on a crack pipe. There is also a criminal element at play here. Others struggle with mental illness issues.

The councillor for the ward that encompasses Allan Gardens is Chris Moise. He posted the following on social media in May: “This public park has become a private party grounds with music blaring, regular campfires, and rampant open drug dealing day and night. The park is unsafe for everyone. There have been sexual assaults, stabbings and overdoses happening regularly. Residents have reported to me that they have witnessed and experienced racist, sexist and homophobic verbal attacks, intimidation, as well as aggressive and violent behaviour, including physical assault. I have personally experienced this as well on my own walks through the park.”

Media Establishment Panic Over ‘Far-Right’ Rise as Spanish Populist Vox Party Set to Enter Government

The Western media establishment has broken out into panic about the rise of the so-called “far-right” in Europe as the populist VOX party is widely predicted to join the next Spanish government.

Spaniards will head to the polls on Sunday for a snap election that was called early by socialist Minister Pedro Sanchez after his Socialist Workers’ Party suffered an embarrassing defeat in the local elections in May.

The failures of the leftist government to bring prosperity to the country and secure the nation’s borders have seen the rise of the centre-right Popular Party (PP) in the polls. However, according to most opinion surveys, the Popular Party will not secure enough support to hold an outright majority in the parliament, meaning that they will likely need to enter into a coalition government with the populist right-wing VOX party.

Sweet Irony: Nanny Taxes for Your Health

If taxing sugar-sweetened beverages (SSB), such as soda, is considered an ‘effective’ public health measure, governments might consider taxing the ubiquitous sugar substitute, aspartame, as well.

The WHO published new guidance on sugar substitutes such as aspartame, stevia, and saccharine, advising that they should not be used for weight loss, as they have not been proven to help drop excess kilos and, furthermore, may lead to increased risk of diabetes, heart disease, and early death in adults. The guideline was based on a systematic literature review.

Perhaps this will make governments rethink their nanny taxes.

After 18 years in parliament, he expressed his wish to do “something completely different,” adding that “I’m quite happy to go and work at a bar … I sometimes think I’d just like to go and do things I love, like Formula One or horse racing.”

UK: Farage Ups the Ante: Bank Faces £17.5 Million Fine as ‘Mr Brexit’ Files Complaint Over Passing Info to BBC

The former Brexit Party leader turned GB News presenter has filed a formal complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), which has the power to fine financial institutions up to £17.5 million after unnamed sources from Coutts bank — a subsidiary of NatWest — told the BBC that his bank account was shut because it fell below the £1 million threshold, while internal documents revealed that the bank decided to drop him as a customer because his political views “did not align with our values”.

A civil war within the left-wing Labour Party is brewing as it grapples with failing to pick up Boris Johnson’s former seat in Parliament in large part due to London Mayor Sadiq Khan’s Great Reset-style ULEZ green agenda policy which will tax any car driving in all of London next month.

The Labour Party’s failure to win the Uxbridge and South Ruislip by-election this week demonstrated that the party is “doing something very wrong”, Labour Leader Sir Kier Starmer said on Saturday.

Viktor Orban: “The World is Heading Towards a Collision”

In a state of anxiety and feeling trapped, the European Union has chosen “decoupling” and “de-risking” instead of connecting to the world, thereby losing its global competitiveness, according to the Prime Minister of Hungary, Viktor Orban, who gave a speech on Saturday, July 22, at Tusvanyos, a conservative political gathering in Transylvania.

As with every speech he has made in the past at the Tusvanyos Summer University in Baile Tusnad, Romania, Viktor Orban once again reflected on the most important geopolitical trends, European current affairs, and their impact on Hungary. He believes the EU is “rich and weak,” and it is isolating itself in a world with many uncertainties, in which the balance of power has tilted. To underline his message, the prime minister cited the International Monetary Fund’s (IMF) report, which forecasts that neither the United Kingdom nor France or Italy will be among the world’s ten largest economies by 2030, while Germany will drop to tenth place.

Orban noted that once-ambitious plans to have a free trade area from “Lisbon to Vladivostok” are now being replaced by the EU’s actions that are decoupling Europe from Russia through sanctions.

Caroline Glick: Israel and the New America

On the surface, Israeli President Isaac Herzog’s visit to the White House on Tuesday felt like old times. U.S. President Joe Biden warmly greeted Israel’s ceremonial head of state and repeatedly stated that the U.S.’s commitment to Israel is “ironclad.” Biden mentioned that he spoke with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu the day before and arranged a visit for Israel’s actual leader.

So, are we back to normal? Were the last seven months of unprecedented U.S. hostility towards Israel, its elected government, its parliamentary deliberations, its senior ministers and its prime minister a blip on the screen, now undone?

Apparently not. Shortly after Herzog left the White House, New York Times columnist Tom Friedman wrote that Biden met with him at the White House after Herzog departed and claimed that Biden read Netanyahu the riot act in his conversation with the premier on Monday.

Biden did so because of the Netanyahu government’s intention to pass parts of its judicial reform program without the support of its political opponents. The White House also told reporters that Biden didn’t invite Netanyahu to the White House, he just agreed to meet him somewhere.

Israeli National Security Adviser Tzahi Hanegbi told reporters that Friedman’s report of the Biden-Netanyahu conversation is simply wrong. It probably is. All the same, it’s hard to imagine Friedman invented the story out of whole cloth. In all likelihood, Biden decided to put out a hostile readout of the conversation at odds with both the White House account and the Israeli Prime Minister’s Office’s account of the phone call.

In other words, the hostile policy geared towards undermining the Netanyahu government at home and abroad remains in place.

For close observers of the Biden administration, this is not surprising. From the outset, like the Obama administration, the Biden administration has distinguished itself for its institutional hostility to Israel and other U.S. Middle East allies, particularly Saudi Arabia…

Turkey Issues Arrest Warrant for Danish Politician Over Koran Burning

A Turkish court issued an arrest warrant for Rasmus Paludan, a far-right Danish leader, following his controversial act of burning a copy of the Quran in front of the Turkish Embassy in Stockholm.

The incident, which took place on Jan. 21, sparked outrage and condemnation across the Islamic world.

The investigation launched by the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office against Paludan on the charge of “publicly insulting the religious values” is ongoing.

As part of the investigation, the Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office requested Paludan’s arrest to obtain a statement regarding the Quran-burning incident.

Russia Targets Ukraine’s Farm Storage Sites After Collapse of Black Sea Grain Deal

KYIV, Ukraine (AP) — Russia followed its withdrawal from a grain export deal by expanding its attacks from port infrastructure to farm storage buildings in Ukraine’s Odesa region Friday, while also practicing a Black Sea blockade.

Other Russian missiles damaged what officials described only as an “important infrastructure facility” southwest of the port city of Odesa, in what appeared to be an effort to cripple Ukraine’s food exports.

Russian Strike on Ukraine’s Odesa Badly Damages Landmark Orthodox Cathedral; 1 Dead, Many Wounded

ODESA, Ukraine (AP) — Russia struck the Ukrainian Black Sea city of Odesa on Sunday, keeping up a barrage of attacks that has damaged critical port infrastructure in southern Ukraine in the past week. At least one person was killed and 22 others wounded in the early morning attack, officials said.

Four children were among those wounded in the blasts, which severely damaged 25 landmarks across the city, including the historic Transfiguration Cathedral.

Russia has been launching repeated attacks on Odesa, a key hub for exporting grain, since Moscow canceled a landmark grain deal on Monday amid Kyiv’s grinding efforts to retake its occupied territories.

After the fires were put out at the Orthodox cathedral, volunteers donned hard hats, shovels and brooms to begin removing rubble, combing through to salvage any artifacts — under the watchful gaze of the saints whose paintings remained intact. Local officials said the icon of the patroness of the city was retrieved from under the rubble.

“The destruction is enormous, half of the cathedral is now roofless,” said Archdeacon Andrii Palchuk, as workers brought documents and valuables out of the building, its floor inundated with water used by firefighters to extinguish the blaze.

Dem Rep. Krishnamoorthi: U.S. Investment Funded Nearly 40% of China’s AI Sector and That Gets Shared With Military

On Friday’s broadcast of Bloomberg’s “Balance of Power,” Select Committee on the CCP Ranking Member Rep. Krishnamoorthi stated, [relevant remarks begin around 12:20] “It turns out that American VCs have funded upwards of 40% of the VC investments that have gone into the AI sector in the People’s Republic of China. And a lot of those investments, unfortunately, go to companies that then turn around and share that technology that they developed with the military or they share it with their internal police who use it for facial recognition software and the like. So, we are very concerned about these types of investments.”

Migrant Arrivals Continue on Lampedusa

(ANSA) — ROME, JUL 23 — Nearly 700 migrants and refugees arrived on Lampedusa on Sunday after coast guard and finance police patrol boats intervened in support of 17 boats in distress.

The boats each carried between 15 and 58 people, including women and children, from Ivory Coast, Guinea, Mali, Cameroon, Burkina Faso, Senegal, Syria, Liberia, Ghana, Nigeria, Egypt, Libya and Sudan.

Six boats were reportedly found adrift without an engine, having allegedly lost it during the sea crossing.

All the boats except for one, which departed from Zuwara in Libya, set sail from Sfax in Tunisia.

On Sunday morning there were 2,433 people in the hotspot, after a total of 701 people arrived on the island in 17 landings on Saturday.

Also on Saturday, 1,063 people were transferred off Lampedusa to mainland Sicily and other destinations in Italy by a combination of passenger ferry and military vessel.

On Sunday morning a riot with stone throwing broke out at the hotspot, reportedly involving around 100 people said to be from Sudan and South Sudan, including numerous minors.

The police and Red Cross staff who work at the hotspot intervened to restore calm.

15 people subsequently required medical attention for mild injuries.

Italy: Fake Populist PM Meloni Tries to Shift Blame for Failing to Stop Mass Migration

Italian Premier Giorgia Meloni, who ran on an anti-globalist platform, on Sunday called for new, more equal relationships between Europe and migrants’ countries of origin and transit as she convened a summit of some 20 nations EU officials and international organizations aimed at stanching flows of illegal migration.

The one-day conference is a Meloni initiative that aims to make Italy a leader in resolving issues impacting Mediterranean nations. Chief among them is migration, as Italy sustains hundreds of new arrivals daily on Europe’s southern border, but also energy as Europe looks to Africa and the Middle East to permanently replace Russian supplies.

Human rights groups see the meeting, which includes nations from both northern and sub-Saharan Africa as well as the Middle East, as creating a future roadmap, and worry it will amount to anti-migrant policies that put the onus on Africa to keep Africans out of Europe.

Meloni told the opening meeting that Western arrogance had likely stood in the way of solutions to the migrant issue. She proposed four main prongs for future cooperation: fighting criminal organizations trafficking migrants, better managing flows of migrants, supporting refugees and helping countries of origin.

Tougher Transgender Guidelines for UK Schools Ruled ‘Unlawful’

The government must change the law if it wants to hand parents greater power regarding transgender issues. That is according to the attorney-general, its most senior lawyer, who this week said plans to limit the ability of children to act as though they are the opposite sex at school are unlawful.

Prime Minister Rishi Sunak earlier this month signalled that new guidance would tell schools to adopt a tougher approach to trans issues. This followed criticism of children being permitted to use new names at school without their parents being informed.

Ministers were looking into the possibility of a blanket ban on such ‘social transitioning’ at schools, according to The Times. But Attorney-General Victoria Prentis said this would be in breach of the Equalities Act. A source close to the discussions said that

The government wants to go further but the problem is that this is guidance. It is coming up against the Equalities Act which is the law. If the government wants to go further, it has to change the law.

Ubisoft Confirms it May Delete Inactive Accounts (Along With Any Games You Purchased)

Ubisoft, the giant publisher known for big franchises like Assassin’s Creed and Far Cry, faces a backlash following a recent policy clarification regarding account activity. In an alarming revelation, the company announced that inactive Ubisoft accounts risk permanent closure, resulting in players potentially losing access to all games purchased on the platform. This controversial stance may cause serious repercussions for Ubisoft, especially among prospective buyers interested in the publisher’s upcoming line-up of eight new releases.

Ubisoft, although a household name in the gaming industry, has often drawn criticism from players over the repetitiveness of its gameplay mechanics. Most notably, its predictable gameplay formula—climbing towers and clearing checkpoints in open-world games—has exhausted many of its fans’ patience. In response to these grievances, Ubisoft seems to be adjusting the formula in its upcoming titles, such as Assassin’s Creed Mirage, by scaling down these criticized elements.

    Ground-breaking documentary that exposes the
    United Nations

A top-level whistleblower exposes the UN

    19 July 2023

In the film “the secret of the UN”, a very high-ranking person, Calin Georgescu, who has worked in the UN for 18 years, goes out and reveals the UN’s dark secrets. He is an expert in the field of sustainable development and was CEO of the UN in this field. Before that, he was chairman in Europe of the Club of Rome. The film reveals who controls the UN and their real plans.

In the film, Calin Georgescu is interviewed by Reiner Fuellmich, a German lawyer who played an important role in the Volkswagen emissions scandal and successfully sued Deutsche Bank.

The real purpose is to create a world government
In this unique interview with the whistleblower Georgescu, you learn that the real purpose of the UN is to become the new world government. Those behind the film are ICIC (International Crimes Investigative Committee).
In the film, Georgescu addresses the extreme corruption that goes on in the UN and makes the startling revelation that the UN is controlled by the same criminal oligarchs that created the WEF. He says they influence and control votes in the UN to enrich themselves and enslave humanity.

In the film, Georgescu tells how, by working at the UN, he got a picture of how the system really works. The image of the UN as a peace project (which was its purpose when the organization started in 1945) does not match what Georgescu saw.
He thought the UN was a great institution
He further says that “I was absolutely sure that the UN was a fantastic institution that could help people to a good life in harmony with nature”. He tells how he traveled the world and met important people at a high level to coordinate other countries to adapt them to Agenda 21 so that they would live in harmony with nature.

In conclusion, the film gives lots of hope [??] as it addresses the most hopeful thing that has happened in modern times. In addition, you get answers to why this particular time can be when the person wakes up.

The more his work continued within the UN with sustainable development for the world, the more he realized that it was all a sham. He saw that reality did not agree with what was claimed within the UN. He realized that everything was just a lie and that nature can give us everything we need and the big problem is the greed of a small elite. He calls them criminal oligarchs.

He believes that the UN is a platform for these oligarchs. He claims that the oligarchs are the same people who run the World Economic Forum (WEF). He says that they 100 percent control the UN and that the UN’s agenda for 2030 is the agenda that the WEF has drawn up.

  3. This is just another legal theory variant of mob tyranny formerly called the “living document” theory – in that is advocated to change the meaning of words to fit an unamerican totalitarian socialist political utopia.

Popular constitutionalism emphasizes the role of the people in shaping and interpreting the constitution. According to this theory, the constitution derives its legitimacy and authority from the consent and ongoing participation of the people. It views the constitution as a living and evolving document that should adapt to changing societal values, norms, and circumstances. Whereas the Living Document Constitutional Theory was created to undermine the US Constitution and have a select politically appointed group as the sole interpreters that decide what words mean, which also can and will change the meaning of words to fit an unamerican totalitarian socialist political utopia.

  4. The “Camel’s Nose Under the Tent” metaphor and the fable of “The Frog and the Scorpion” serve as cautionary tales

Remember when the it just conspiracy theory about the slippery slope of government banning stuff in homes….

Both the “Camel’s Nose Under the Tent” metaphor and the fable of “The Frog and the Scorpion” serve as cautionary tales, reminding us to be aware of the potential ramifications of our actions and the inherent characteristics of those around us especially where “socialist” political ideologies in government are advocating for something.
“Camel’s Nose Under the Tent”: This metaphor warns against allowing a small concession or compromise, which can lead to more significant and potentially undesirable consequences. The story of the camel’s nose getting inside the tent bit by bit until it takes over the whole tent illustrates how initial leniency can pave the way for bigger issues.
“The Frog and the Scorpion”: This fable teaches a moral lesson about the inherent nature of certain individuals. The scorpion’s sting is its natural instinct, and even though it assures the frog it won’t sting, it cannot resist its own nature, leading to both their downfall. This story underscores the idea that some individuals may have ingrained behaviors or traits that they cannot change, even if it brings harm to themselves and others.
When we look at the connection between these two things, we find a common theme of caution and awareness. Both emphasize the importance of being mindful of the potential consequences of seemingly small actions and of trusting individuals whose inherent nature always leads to negative outcomes.

The progression of government actions, starting with seemingly minor measures, leading to more significant consequences, can be likened to the fables of “The Frog and the Scorpion” and the metaphor of “Camel’s Nose Under the Tent.”

It all began with a conspiracy theory about the slippery slope of the government banning items in homes. The first action was the ban on incandescent bulbs, initiated during President Bush’s tenure. Although there was significant public pushback, the ban persisted, and some found ways to circumvent it, like buying bulbs from Canada or using specific “rough” incandescent bulbs in the US – a loophole that President Trump later addressed but was overturned, closing the loophole under President Biden.

    incandescent bulb bans
    https://www.latimes.com/business/la-xpm-2014-jan-01-la-fi-mo-incandescent-lightbulb-ban-20140101-story.html

President Obama continued this trajectory by taking arbitrary and unconstitutional actions that affected America’s energy independence, such as denying fossil fuel permits. President Trump attempted to reverse some of these measures, but they were once again overturned by President Biden, who fulfilled his campaign promises of making America energy dependent on foreign nations, leading to increased fuel costs in 2021.

In 2023, President Biden’s administration expanded its interference by targeting natural gas stoves, heaters, and fossil fuel generators. Additionally, the push for CBDB’s (Central Bank Digital Currencies) raised concerns about potential social scoring and government control over people’s spending. The idea of 15-minute cities also emerged, which could further limit travel options and dictate routes through “congestion pricing.”

I’ve written recently to you guys regarding the 15 minute cities and CBDBs
CBDB’s (to control what you can spend your money on) – social scoring like the Chinese, sure they can do whatever they want but if they should displease the socialist leaning government bureaucrats and officials they will find that their credit-cards/CBDB’s won’t work.
All this while pushing 15 minute cities to control where and how often you can travel and even decide for you what route to take “congestion pricing”

NY State became the first state to ban gas stoves, other Democrat led states are following as is the Biden led Federal Government

    https://spectrumlocalnews.com/nys/buffalo/politics/2023/03/31/a-look-at-the-various-gas-ban-proposals

All this is being done to ensure that you will be sitting home in dark, freezing cold homes without resources to store, cook, manage home heating/cooling, light or even charge your car that you’ll soon be forced to own to in your 15 minute city. And no independent way to purchase both necessities or even frivolous entertainment or food; no steak only bugs.

Let’s not forget the Obama firearms manufacturer banking war of 2018, were there were many instances of targeting gun manufacturers under the Obama administration, pressuring banks to close accounts for certain firearms manufacturers and dealers who made or sold “modern sporting rifles” to citizens. This tactic has resurfaced under President Biden, with the implementation of Credit Card issuer “new codes” with the firearms manufacturer banking war of 2022 and an entirely new hoplophobic tactic of going after Federal Firearm Licensees (FFL’s) with warrantless and suspicionless harassment of firearms dealers under the “zero tolerance” colloquialism.

The progression of these actions echoes the concept of the “Camel’s Nose Under the Tent.” It often starts with relatively minor steps, but as time goes on, more significant and concerning measures are implemented, leading to a broader impact on personal freedoms and choices. We’re now at the point that they no longer even try to pretend this isn’t what they are doing. Just like in “The Frog and the Scorpion,” the initial trust in government actions can have far-reaching consequences, and the nature of certain policies or leaders can’t be ignored.

In the context of “Camel’s Nose Under the Tent,” it’s crucial to exercise caution when allowing small “compromises,” a fact that gun owners are well aware of. These seemingly minor concessions may serve as stepping stones for more significant and potentially unfavorable changes. It is essential to remember that in the language of hoplophobes and “socialists,” a compromise means they temporarily let you “keep” something, but they will redraw the redline the next time an opportunity arises. Previous compromises will be disregarded, and gun owners will once again be forced to make all the concessions. Similarly, in “The Frog and the Scorpion,” the frog’s initial trust in the scorpion’s promise not to sting leads to tragic consequences due to the scorpion’s unchangeable nature.
