ATF Report Reveals Mass Noncompliance With Pistol Brace Rule

Submitted by Gun Owners of America

As we previously predicted in an article prior to the rollout of ATF’s pistol brace rule, very few gun owners have complied with the regulation and registered their pistol braced firearm via the ATF’s registration scheme.

According to a report published by The Reload, as of June 1, 2023, ATF received 255,162 applications for registration. The Congressional Research Service estimates that the number of braces in circulation is anywhere from 10 million to 40 million. This would mean total compliance with the pistol brace rule is around 0.2 — 0.6 percent.

How Not to Fight Crime

by Daniel Greenfield

“I will not stand by and let criminals undermine our economy and the livelihood of New Yorkers. We are going to act,” New York City Mayor Eric Adams vowed.

After announcing a 44% increase in retail theft in one year, Adams promised a bold new effort called “Second Chance” and “Re-Engaging Store Theft Offenders and Retail Establishments (RESTORE)” that will allow shoplifters “to avoid prosecution or incarceration by meaningfully engaging with services to help address underlying factors that lead to shoplifting.”

What “underlying factors” led gangs to steal hundreds of thousands worth of jewels or handbags, pack them up and walk away, or roll a trash can full of them down the street?

The root cause of the crime wave is a lack of consequences.

“Last year alone, 327 repeat offenders were responsible for 30 percent of the more than 22,000 retail thefts across our city.,” Adams noted.

Do the math. The variable after the equals sign is a complete lack of consequences in which criminals, steal, are arrested, get released, steal, get arrested, and do it until their arms get tired. Smarter criminals recruit teens with no formal criminal records to steal for them. They go from store to store in gangs while making sure that each gang member steals less than $1,000 from each individual store at one time even if the total haul is in the tens of thousands of dollars.

Get caught the first time and criminals don’t even have to “step foot in a courtroom”, they’ll just go to a “voluntary one-day program, which can take the form of an educational workshop and restorative justice circle” to “reflect on their actions.” So much for “meaningfully engaging”.

Then they’ll be signed up for every form of social services imaginable…

US Knew Ukraine Planned to Blow Up Nord Stream Pipeline 3 Months Before it Happened: WaPo

The Washington Post is reporting that an unnamed European intelligence service told the CIA that Ukraine’s military was planning an attack on the Nord Stream pipelines a full three months before the September 26, 2022 sabotage blasts which disabled them.

The revelation is based on Pentagon and classified intelligence documents leaked by Air National Guard member Jack Teixeira, or part of the so-called Discord leaks. The intelligence report in question was drafted in June 2022 and shared with the Biden administration, which means the White House has known all along that the “Putin did it” narrative which the West rallied around was false from the start. According to the new report published Tuesday:

Details about the plan, which have not been previously reported, were collected by a European intelligence service and shared with the CIA in June 2022. They provide some of the most specific evidence to date linking the government of Ukraine to the eventual attack in the Baltic Sea, which U.S. and Western officials have called a brazen and dangerous act of sabotage on Europe’s energy infrastructure.

The commission has acceded to requests from five EU member states — Hungary, Poland, Slovakia, Bulgaria and Romania — to take immediate action to address the unsustainable situation caused by increased imports of cereals from Ukraine.

The EU executive reached an agreement with the member states concerned at the end of April, allowing them to block the marketing of Ukrainian grains on their territory until June 5, provided they do not block transit to other countries. This agreement was extended on Monday until Sept. 15.

How the EU Plans to Control the Military Industry in Each Member State

A top EU commissioner is putting forward a legislative proposal on the development of a common EU ammunition industry, which will be submitted to the European Parliament later this month.

Thierry Breton, the European commissioner for the internal market, submitted the proposal on the advice of EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs Josep Borrell. It is the final stage of Borrell’s original three-stage plan, which seems more complicated than the relative clarity of the first two stages. In the first stage, €1 billion will go into the European Peace Facility, from which countries that send weapons from their armed forces to Ukraine will be compensated. While the regulatory inadequacies of the Peace Facility have given rise to serious abuses, Brussels politely looks the other way when those that toe the EU line spend European taxpayers’ money on themselves.

Number of Czech Tenants Defaulting on Their Rent Triples in a Year

The number of people in Czechia who cannot pay their rent is increasing, with cases tripling year-over-year in some areas of the country.

A worsening economic situation and inefficient processes in relation to the rental market have led to a concerning rise in non-payments. Tenants often find it difficult to find alternative housing, resulting in an accumulation of debt, while landlords often experienced legal difficulties in evicting non-paying tenants, costing them significant time and financial resources.

According to data from the Ideal Tenants service, the number of defaulters rose by 11 percent year-over-year in the last quarter of 2022 before rising by 34 percent year-on-year in January.

Commenting on the court’s ruling, Polish Justice Minister Zbigniew Ziobro cited allegations from French media that there is legal evidence that judges in the European Court of Justice have colluded with European Commission officials and European People’s Party (EPP) luminaries. He also pointed out previous media reports that the verdicts of the EU’s top court are decided ahead of time in collusion with powerful figures in the EU.

Timmermans: “We Don’t Have the Luxury of Slowing Down”

Frans Timmermans has made it clear he has no intention of letting up on the Green Deal regulations he and his fellow EU commissioners are handing down from headquarters in Brussels, despite recent pushback from both heads of state and EU parliamentarians.

In comments on June 2nd at a conference of the Jacques Delors Institute, he cracked down on recent suggestions that the EU regulatory cascade in the name of saving the environment was drowning European industry. Timmermans is the executive vice president for the Green Deal and commissioner for climate action.

He warned that Europe and the rest of the planet were facing “a risk of ecocide that poses a threat to the survival of humanity,” a situation that required the EU to “recalibrate our institutions.”

“We do not have the luxury of a break. We do not have the time to be paralysed,” he said of combating ‘climate change.’

UK Think Tank Proposes Tracking Vehicles With GPS and Taxing Them Based on Distance Traveled

The UK think tank, Resolution Foundation has proposed a 6p-per-mile (7 cents) road tax on electric vehicles (EVs) to avoid a massive shortfall in tax revenues. To achieve this, vehicles would be tracked with GPS, adding to the growing surveillance nightmare.

The proposed road tax would be measured through GPS data that measures distance traveled. Motorists would also be charged more for using congested areas in an attempt to reduce traffic.

The government has been collecting less fuel duty, which accounts for 2% of the total tax collected. Electric cars are not charged fuel duty for the electricity they use.

Votes Swapped as Austria SPÖ Leadership Race Overturned

The Austrian Social Democratic Party (SPÖ) was thrown into pandemonium Monday, June 5th, after the party’s electoral commission reversed previously declared results in a hotly contested leadership race.

The centre-left party had been engaged in a bitter leadership contest that pitted progressive talisman Andreas Babler against grassroots challenger Hans Peter Doskozil on the back of poor performances in regional elections. The party has been split on how to respond to the rise of the FPÖ—with Doskozil championing a more conservative line on immigration, and Babler wishing to take the SPÖ to the Left. Both candidates were desperate to unseat centrist SPÖ incumbent Pamela Rendi-Wagner, blaming her for poor poll performance.

In a shock decision, SPÖ officials overturned an earlier announcement declaring Doskozil elected in favour of Babler in a move that has unleashed chaos within the already divided party. Doskozil was declared the winner Sunday evening with 53% of delegate votes. Concerns then surfaced that officials had counted misattributed votes due to a mistake in an Excel file.

The SPÖ backtracked Monday afternoon with officials announcing an embarrassing U-turn due to what they described as a “technical error” in the voting process. The final tally for the leadership race was 317 to 280 in favour of Babler, as the party claimed that delegate votes had been accidentally mixed up.

Warsaw March Saw Donald Tusk Succeed in Establishing Dominance Among the Opposition, Says Polish Academic

Speaking with the wPolityce.pl news portal, the academic said Tusk could now count on the liberal media to pressure other opposition parties to submit to his leadership, and if he succeeds in that venture, even should he lose the coming election, he will still have established a bridgehead for a future presidential election challenge.

Analysis: Destruction of Kakhovka Dam Takes Ukraine War Into Uncharted Territory

LONDON, June 6 (Reuters) — The breach of a huge dam on the front-line Dnipro river has muddied the picture for a much-awaited Ukrainian counteroffensive against Russian invaders and threatens an environmental disaster for civilians living in the war zone.

Kyiv and Moscow have blamed each other for the collapse of the Nova Kakhovka dam in southern Ukraine that sent floods gushing towards surrounding towns and farmland and forced hundreds of civilians to flee on Tuesday.

With water levels still rising, officials and analysts have begun to quantify the human and environmental costs for one of the world’s most fertile agricultural countries, saying settlements and thousands of people are at risk.

The dam’s collapse occurred just as Ukraine was poised to launch a counteroffensive and could complicate the advance of its forces in any assault, analysts said, though Kyiv has not divulged in which direction it plans to strike.

“Bearing in mind Russia is on the strategic defensive and Ukraine on the strategic offensive, in the short term it’s an advantage to Russia, definitely,” said Ben Barry, senior fellow at the International Institute for Strategic Studies.

“It’ll help the Russians until the water subsides because it makes it more difficult for Ukraine to do assault river crossings,” he said in a phone interview.

‘Deepfake’ Putin Declares Martial Law, Orders Evacuation After Russian Broadcasters Hacked

Russia has said footage aired on television and radio stations showing Vladimir Putin declaring martial law is actually an A.I.-generated fake deployed by hackers.

Senior figures within the Russian government came out on Monday to assure the public that the supposed “emergency” address broadcasted by Russian television and radio stations declaring martial law was not made by Russia’s real Vladimir Putin, but by an A.I. fake. By Russia’s own account, hackers had control of a television and radio station for 37 minutes.

In the broadcast, the seemingly digitally-created Putin warned listeners that Ukraine had managed to penetrate Russia’s borders, declaring martial law and ordering an evacuation of border areas.

Discord Leaks: CIA Had Advance Warning of Ukrainian Plan to Bomb Nord Stream Pipeline

The Biden administration apparently knew three months ahead of time that the Nord Stream natural gas pipeline was a target of a covert attack by a small team of Ukrainian divers who reported directly to the commander in chief of the armed forces of Ukraine.

The details of the plan were reportedly uncovered by a European intelligence service and subsequently shared with the CIA in 2022, per The Washington Post.

The reporting by European intelligence had been shared on Discord, a social media platform, which had been part of a leak of a trove of documents by Air National Guardsman Jack Teixeira. This information from Teixeira provides the most specific evidence linking the Ukrainian government to the attack that took place in the Baltic Sea. The US and other Western nations have condemned the attack as a dangerous act of sabotage on Europe’s energy infrastructure.

India: The New ‘Gaming Jihad’ for Brainwashing Hindu and Jain Teenagers to Convert Them to Islam

Upendra Bharti | HENB | New Delhi | June 4, 2023:: The Islamist perpetrators now explored their new domain in cybercrime for brainwashing Hindu and Jain boys to convert them to Radical Islam.

Ghaziabad police arrested a former member of the local mosque committee, Abdul Rehman (actually, a resident of Balia) in this connection. The accused used to read Quran verses to the youths on the online gaming app in a pretension to win the game and brainwashed the youths to convert them to the Muslim religion.

This is a new type of jihad that’s come to light as conversion to Islam is their ultimate goal. The case came to light on May 30 at Kavi Nagar Police Station jurisdiction under Gaziabad Police.

In this “Gaming Jihad”, Muslim youth along with Maulvis of Masjid used to brainwash Hindu and Jain kids saying reading Aayats from Quran can help them win games in ‘Fortnite’ mobile game. When the kids do win the game by a set of tricks allowed by the app itself, they start believing the power of Aayats as such. Later on, the appointed Muslim youths in this network used to take the Hindu and Jain kids on another ‘Discord’ chat app and show them Zakir Naik videos to brainwash them to the next level. The perpetrators mainly used to target the teen-aged Hindu and Jain boys to convert to Islam.

As per Ghaziabad police, they are searching for one Shanawaj Masud Khan of Sajia Apartment, P.S. Mumbra, Thane, Maharashtra -who is believed to be the mastermind of this Cyber Gaming Jihad.

Police are probing all aspects of this new ‘Gaming Jihad’ as surfaced surprisingly.

EU Expected to Approve Chinese Sanctions

The European Union is hurtling towards enacting sanctions against the Chinese economy, the South China Morning Post reports, saying EU officials are preparing to sanction eight key Chinese companies believed to be linked to the Russian war effort in Ukraine. EU leaders, however, are split over their future relationship with the rising Asian power.

EU sources said that they expected a deal on sanctions to be announced before European foreign ministers meet in Brussels on June, 26th. Beijing has previously warned that any sanctions are unnecessary and would provoke retaliation. European countries have been grappling with a potential economic decoupling from China, with some officials warning that China is an essential component for economic prosperity and that the United States is rushing Europe into cutting ties too quickly.

With the release of their “Year In Hate and Extremism 2022” report on Tuesday, SPLC appeared to change their infamous “Hate Map” to now be a map of “hate and antigovernment groups.” After counting 733 “hate groups” in 2021, the number increased to 1225 “hate and antigovernment extremist groups” in the 2022 report, many of which were focused on education.

Poll: More Than 7 in 10 Americans Support Same-Sex Marriage

More than 70 percent of Americans say same-sex marriage should be legal, up from 27 percent in 1996 and matching last year’s percentage, a new Gallup News poll found.

“When Gallup first polled about same-sex marriage in 1996, barely a quarter of the public (27 percent) supported legalizing such unions. It would take another 15 years, until 2011, for support to reach the majority level,” according to the poll report. “Then in 2015, just one month before the U.S. Supreme Court’s Obergefell v. Hodges decision, public support for legalizing gay marriage cracked the 60 percent level. In 2021, it reached the 70 percent mark for the first time and has been there each of the past three years.”

Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence’s ‘Sister Roma’ Honored by Scott Wiener, California’s LGBTQ Caucus

On Monday, the California State Legislature honored a member of The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence with a community service award, despite nationwide backlash against the anti-Catholic group of drag nuns. The group will also be featured by the LA Dodgers at the Pride night on June 16.

Democrat state rep Scott Wiener presented the official honor to “sister Roma,” where he recognized the trans-identified “drag nun” for exceptional service to the community. Wiener has also made the California a “sanctuary state” for children who want to undergo sex changes without parental consent or knowledge. The law also allows the state to strip custody from parents who won’t go along with their children’s wish to change sex.

IS to Muslims in Sweden: Tear Swedes “to pieces”

Published 7 June 2023 in Fria Tider

Islamic State (IS) is calling for brutal acts against Swedes after Rasmus Paludan’s Koran burnings, Doku reports.

Behind the message of violence is the media channel Al-Adiyat, which spreads Islamic State news.

The March article urges Muslims in Sweden to attack and “tear apart” Swedes on the streets.

This is in retaliation for Rasmus Paludan’s Koran burnings.

The text was published in Arabic, English and French, according to Doku.

The IS channel also incorrectly identifies Stefan Löfven as Sweden’s prime minister, claiming that he has declared war on Islam. He is also targeted with brutal calls for violence.

    Al-Adiyat writes:

    “O revenge for your prophet

They have opened the gates of hell for themselves.

They have allied themselves and quarreled and mocked the Book of God.

Besiege them and force them, tear apart their bodies in the street

    O Muslims torture them”

Two Syrian brothers were recently arrested in Germany on suspicion of planning to blow up a church full of visitors in Sweden in revenge for the Koran burnings.

    • They have allied themselves and quarreled and mocked the Book of God.
And their ‘book of god’ calls for premeditated murder of Jews and Christians. That fact alone should be sufficient cause to have I-Slam placed under judicial interdict and its ‘leaders’ arrested for inciting others to commit violence without cause against others. Of course, Eu-rope is enlightened and wishes to rid itself of those who espouse the myth of God’s visit to Israel and the salvation of humans that He accomplished there. Thus, the I-slams are nothing more than hired goons who will be disposed of after the Christians and Jews are disposed of.

  2. The Chinese military chief is correct, but only to proceed without blinking to his country’s own, epic hypocrisy… “… that China remains strongly opposed to imposing one’s own will on others, placing one’s own interests above those of others and pursuing one’s own security at the expense of others.” — Great. So the democratically expressed desire of the Taiwanese to not be ruled by the CPC does count for nothing. While the Russian-speaking regions of Ukraine have voted to join the Russian Federation, in the case of Crimea even already in 1990, which nobody was interested in even noticing. All these big powers are alike. Yes, the EU, too, one of the biggest hypocrites of all.
