Animal Shelters Overwhelmed as High Cost of Living Forcing Many to Give Up Their Pets

Animal shelters are reporting an overwhelming number of surrendered pets this year.

Dean Daubert, chief operations officer at Anderson Humane in South Elgin, Ill., said the shelter has handled 3,000 more pets this year than it did in 2021.

Daubert said he does not buy the widely held belief that a lot of people were too quick to adopt pets during the pandemic and now they are giving them up.

Canada’s Food Prices Rose Over 10% in 2022. Does This Mean More Food Inflation Next Year?

Food prices in Canada skyrocketed in 2022 owing to runaway inflation. Record numbers have accessed food banks to feed their families — a trend that will continue next year as food prices are projected to rise again.

Canada’s Food Price Report 2023 predicts a 5% to 7% food price increase in 2023 following 10% increases this year, where the most substantial increases occurred in vegetables, dairy, and meat.

The report also forecasts that an average family of four, including a man (age 31-50), woman (age 31-50), boy (age 14-18), and girl (age 9-13), will spend up to $16,288.41 per year on food, an increase of up to $1,065.60 from 2022.

Netherlands: Rabobank: Supermarket Prices Will Rise Further in the Coming Months

There is currently no end in sight to the price increases at Dutch supermarkets, with producers continuing to increase their wholesale prices, research from Rabobank showed. Pricing negotiations during the winter months has been tense, just like last year, said the Sebastiaan Schreijen, a senior analyst focusing on the food and beverages sector for Rabobank.

Manufacturers have indicated that they have to increase their sales prices by 10 to 20 percent to cover all costs. The cause of this increase is largely due to the expensive dollar and rising personnel costs. Indirect energy costs also play a role. Packaging material such as glass and cardboard, but also semi-refined products such as flour and salt are made with a significant amount of energy. These products are purchased by food companies on a contractual basis, so the higher energy costs are still passed on to them.

‘Black People Are the Real Jews’

by Daniel Greenfield

Black Hebrew Israelites are getting the attention that they didn’t when they spent decades screaming antisemitic and racist slurs in urban centers, killed four people in two separate attacks in New York and New Jersey (one that took place on Chanukah) and provoked the Covington Catholic incident.

That last one led to the New York Times defending the racist hate group as “sidewalk ministers” who practice “tough love” in “blunt and sometimes offensive language.” Examples of that include, “The Holocaust is a damn joke! Heil Hitler!” and “The messiah, who is a black man, is going to kill you”.

Going on ‘The Breakfast Club’, hosted by Charlamagne, a rapper who is a fan of Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan, the ADL’s Jonathan Greenblatt referred to BHIs as “the guys in Times Square who observe in a way that’s not so traditional.”

Screaming antisemitic slurs is a less traditional of observing Judaism, but who can question such things…

Florida County is New Focal Point of Election Integrity Complaints in Pro-Election Security State

Orange County, Fla., has become a focal point for election security complaints — from alleged ballot harvesting to unauthorized exposure of protected voter information — despite the state’s new emphasis on election integrity.

The office of the Orange County Supervisor of Elections (SOE), which has been led by Democrat Bill Cowles since he was first elected to his position in 1996, has come under scrutiny as whistleblowers have come forward in recent months to reveal an array of alleged election irregularities occurring on his watch.

Last year, Florida Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis created the Office of Election Crimes and Security to investigate election crimes full-time. Since then, two whistleblowers in Orange County have filed affidavits alleging unauthorized and potentially illegal election activity they witnessed.

Identical Twins Awarded $1.5 Million Over Med School Cheating Accusations

Identical twin sisters who were accused of cheating on their year-end medical school exams have been awarded $1.5 million in a defamation case against the Medical University of South Carolina.

Kayla and Kellie Bingham were accused of “academic dishonesty” in May 2016 after test proctors deemed their exam performance to be too close to be a coincidence — with identical answers to 296 out of 307 questions, including 54 wrong answers. University officials launched an investigation, and a school “honor council” alleged the sisters were “signaling one another and passing notes,” according to court documents. The school ultimately ruled they had cheated on the exam.

“It was an eight-hour exam during which we exhibited normal test-taking behavior,” Kayla Bingham told CBS MoneyWatch.

The Binghams successfully appealed the decision and filed a lawsuit against the university, arguing that for years they had behaved and performed similarly academically and in athletics. After a four-day trial in November, a South Carolina jury decided the school had defamed the sisters and awarded them a total of $1.5 million in damages.

Dutch State Defends Decision to Impose Entry Ban on Conspiracy Theorist David Icke

There were more than enough concrete indications that the British conspiracy theorist, David Icke, was a potential threat to public order. Icke filed suit against the Netherlands hoping the court would strike down the ban during summary proceedings.

Icke was assisted in court by his legal aide, Jeroen Pols. He argued that the entry ban constitutes “an intolerable interference with the right to demonstrate and freedom of expression.” The legal advisor said the entry ban was only aimed at preventing Icke from speaking at a demonstration on Dam Square in Amsterdam in November. Sweden Sees Deadliest Year With 60 Deaths in Shootings: Media

The previous record was set in 2020 with 47 deaths, police statistics showed

With 60 people killed in shootings in Sweden so far this year, 2022 will become the deadliest year since these statistics were compiled in 2016, Swedish Television (SVT) quoted police statistics.

“This year, we have seen a massive increase,” Magnus Gerell, an associate professor and criminologist at Malmo University, told SVT on Sunday.

“It is an extremely high number and a very large increase compared to recent years. The development is also driven by the fact that more of the victims (of shootings) die,” Gerell said.

He added that the vast majority of shootings happened in a criminal environment, and the modus operandi and the demographics of criminal gangs had changed over the years, Xinhua news agency reported.

“Today it is more common that there is more than one shooter and that more shots are fired. It seems as if the killings have become more meticulously planned, which leads to more deaths,” Gerell said.

“A trend we have seen for quite a while is that the victims and the shooters are becoming younger. Today it is often teenagers shooting other teenagers.”

He also added that research had shown that the impact on society had become more severe.

Ukraine War: Millions Without Power, ‘Merchant of Death’ Interview, Hunt for ‘Collaborators’

1. Russia boosting production of ‘powerful’ weapons, says Medvedev

Russia is producing more destructive weapons to counter western countries that support Kyiv, said Dmitry Medvedev on Sunday.

“Our enemy is entrenched … in Europe, North America, Japan, Australia, New Zealand and a whole number of other places that have sworn allegiance to today’s Nazis,” the Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council wrote on Telegram.

“That is why we are boosting the production of the most powerful means of destruction, including those based on new principles,” he said.

Russian officials often refer to Ukraine’s leadership as “Nazis”, using this as a justification for their invasion. This claim that Ukraine is ruled by the far-right has been dismissed as a “plain and simple lie” by experts.

Medvedev said the weapons would be based on “new physical principles”, without detailing exactly what these were.

The Hateful Pakistan Against Hindus and India

Uproar over anti-Hindu web series ‘Sevak’ made in Pakistan. In another video Pakistan’s children and teenagers make hateful comments towards India insulting Hinduism. The venomous trend in Pakistan.

Zakia Rehman | HENB | Karachi | Dec 11, 2022:: The hatred of the fundamentalists living in Pakistan towards Hindus and Sikhs can be perceived from a web series which has been made recently in Pakistan. The available slots of the series named “Sevak” in youtube platform transpire the amount of contempt and derogation in depicting Hindus and Sikhs in a very bad light. Anyone can watch the trailers of the series that will make you understand how much poison is filled for India in the whole series.

Again a recent video on YouTube reflects the anti-India hatred seeping through educational institutes in Pakistan and among parents who feel no qualms about drilling hate into the minds of their impressionable children against India and Hinduism at random.

Pakistani YouTuber Sana Amjad shared a video from her YouTube channel on 8th December 2022, where she interviewed several children who were attending a fair and speaking unbelievable things against Indian and Hindus on camera. She asked them what they feel like whenever they listen to the word ‘India’ or ‘what they think about India’. Most of them replied that they hate India while some of them also expressed their hatred towards Hinduism and said that religious difference is the prime reason for the hatred. The children expressed their hate against India as ‘Indians torture in Kashmir’ and ‘India caused the harm for Pakistan’. One of the girl said in interview that Islam does not permit to make friendship with enemy like India.

In Pakistan where fundamentalism is at its peak, the perilous condition of Hindus and Sikh minorities here is not hidden from anyone. The news of atrocities on Hindus and Sikhs keep coming to the fore in alternative days. Along with them the news of forced conversion and marriage is also seen. Apart from this, the work of spreading hatred against Hindus and Sikhs always goes here at random. Meanwhile, such a web series has been made in Pakistan, in which venom has been spewed against India in the name of ‘Sevak-The Confession’ for the entertainment of the hateful people of Pakistan against Hindus, Sikh and India. And the effect of such hate mongering is quite evident from the video uploaded in YouTube by Sana Amjad.

Vietnam to Ban Online Ads Being Shown Near “Toxic” Anti-Government Content

Vietnam is creating a blacklist of websites, including individual accounts on Facebook and YouTube, that will not be allowed to receive ad revenue if the government determines they have posted “toxic” or anti-government content. Advocates fear the new rule will worsen the free speech situation in the country.

Companies will not be allowed to place ads on content that is “toxic, against the state, or infringing copyrights,” the information ministry said in a post on its website, as reported by Nikkei Asia. The government is also working on a whitelist of safe websites that will be released in early 2023.

Australian Territories Now Free to Legalise Euthanasia

The Northern Territory and ACT are free to legalise euthanasia after the federal parliament lifted a ban that prevented them from doing so.

The Senate voted last week to reverse a 25-year-old ban that stopped the territories from enacting assisted dying laws.

The ban was put in place in 1997 after the NT had established the world’s first legal euthanasia program two years earlier.

Progressive politicians have been trying to reverse the ban ever since.

Last week’s successful vote was the fourth attempt to do so in the past 15 years.

First Pictures of British Flights Sending Criminals Back to Albania

A group of drug dealers and illegal migrants — sentenced to 26 years between them in UK jails — was returned to Tirana last week as the Home Office ramps up deportation flights

Eleven Albanian men disembark from a deportation flight at Tirana airport, flanked by British border guards and immigration officials.

These exclusive pictures show — for the first time — Albanians being returned home, despite their best efforts to avoid deportation.

Among those on the plane landing at Tirana’s Mother Teresa airport last Thursday morning were men who had been convicted of drug crimes in Britain. Others had illegally crossed the Channel by boat before disappearing into the shadowy black market.

Incredibly, this unsavoury bunch had chalked up UK prison sentences of more than 26 years between them before their deportation.

The deputy head of the US nuclear fuel disposal facility, transvestite Sam Brinton, was recently charged with stealing a suitcase full of women’s clothing at an airport. Now he is suspected of another aggravated theft of a female passenger’s luggage.

It was in June that Sam Brinton took up the prestigious and well-paid post of head of the US Department of Energy. According to Wikipedia, the appointment meant that Brinton became the first openly “genderfluid” person in a senior executive position in the US government.

Brinton has flaunted his sexual orientation in many contexts. Among other things, he has said that he engages in so-called “pup play”, which involves men dressing up as dogs and being dominated by their “pussies”. In a photograph featured in a Metro Weekly story, Brinton poses as the “master” of a leather-clad man with a dog mask, tail and naked tail.

When Brinton got the job at the Department of Energy, many wondered if it was wise to entrust such an important post to a man who dresses up in women’s clothes and engages in “dog play.” It was also questioned whether Brinton had the formal qualifications for the job. In a complaint about the appointment, a Department of Energy employee claimed that Brinton was unqualified and that he had been given the job for political reasons.

The critics were given a wake-up call in late November when it emerged that Brinton had recently been charged with grand larceny. According to the indictment, the theft took place at an airport in Minneapolis on 16 September this year. Brinton allegedly stole a suitcase belonging to a female passenger. According to the indictment, surveillance footage from the airport shows Brinton, who had no checked luggage of her own, walking up to a conveyor belt in the arrivals hall, taking a blue suitcase from the belt, ripping off the luggage tag and hurrying away.

The suitcase contained women’s clothing. The clothes and the bag are estimated to have been worth USD 2 325, which is equivalent to approximately EUR 24 000. The British Daily Mail has reported extensively on the theft charge.

Now Brinton has found himself in trouble with the law all over again. On Thursday, a Las Vegas court ruled that he should be arrested. The new criminal charges against Brinton relate to yet another bag theft, Fox News reports.

According to a police report obtained by Fox News, Brinton stole a suitcase from a conveyor belt at a Las Vegas airport on July 6 this year. The bag contained women’s clothing, jewelry and makeup with a total value (including the bag) of $3,670, about $38,000. This robbery was also caught on airport surveillance cameras.

“Brinton exhibited several signs of abnormal behavior when he took the victim’s bag, typical things suspects often do when stealing luggage,” police wrote in the report after reviewing the surveillance footage.

According to the report, Brinton lifted the suitcase off the conveyor belt and looked at the name tag. He then put the bag back on the belt and looked around in all directions. He then picked up the bag again, looked around again and quickly left.

“Brinton had only checked in one bag that he had already retrieved from the conveyor belt, and had no reason to examine or take any other bags,” the police report states.

The reason Brinton has only now been prosecuted in connection with the Las Vegas theft, which took place back in July, was that police initially could not identify the man on the surveillance footage. However, when the Minneapolis airport robbery received media attention and pictures of Brinton were published, Las Vegas police investigators immediately saw that Brinton was the man they were looking for.

Brinton is scheduled for a court hearing in Minneapolis on December 19. Along with the Minneapolis trial, he may face charges for the Las Vegas theft. The maximum sentences that could be imposed are five years in prison for the Minneapolis theft and ten years in prison for the Las Vegas theft.

Many wonder why the high-profile transvestite Brinton, who according to media reports has an annual salary of $178,000 – more than $1.8 million – and can reasonably afford to buy women’s clothing himself, seems to have risked his career to commit seemingly senseless thefts.

“He’s a transvestite who gets off on dressing in stolen women’s clothes. He is mentally unstable and unable to control his sick tendencies. Despite this, he has still not been dismissed from his security-classified post in the civil service,” writes author and commentator Matt Walsh on Twitter.

According to the New York Post, the Department of Energy has announced that Brinton is on leave until further notice, but has not responded to questions about whether he will continue to receive pay while on leave.

Two Republican congressmen, Andrew Clyde and Troy Nehls, have called for Brinton to be fired.

The Department of Energy has declined to comment on the demands, citing confidentiality of personnel matters. The White House has stated that it considers the matter to be a non-political issue on which it will not comment.

    • I have always been of the opinion that putting that 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 as the head of the US Department of Energy was a deliberate act of contempt of Americans as well as a demonstration of our impotence to do anything about it; either through our (allegedly) elected officials or through protests.

The security clearance required for the position combined with the extreme perversion and sexual deviance of the creature occupying the post is meant to make a bad joke of security requirements and security clearances as well as mainstreaming perverts.

As always, that creature isn’t the problem or even part of the problem. It is a symptom of the real problem, which is the complete and utter contempt the political elites of both parties have for normal Americans. And this isn’t something that gets fixed by voating more harder. There can only be one answer to what to do about an entire class of uberwealthy political, financial, and cultural elites who have nothing but the deepest contempt and loathing for anyone of the mainstream culture and middle class and would kill us off or enslave us if they thought they could do it without harm to themselves. A solution requiring a Robispierre, Stalin, Pol Pot, Beria and a wee little class war to exchange one set of problems for another…

      • What do you think of sending those Elites to some logging camps in Alaska or Canada?
No stret to those camps, just a see for the first plane to land.
Give them some axes and let them build their own houses and then send in the guards who take over these first houses and they have to build more.
And then let them log some trees and replant them.

Or send them to a place close to a mountain with some sledgehammers. And tell them that they get their position, luxuries and money back, when the entire mountain is reduced to dust.

        • It is a more humanitarian way of dealing with the problem, but the logistics are daunting. The total numbers in the USA who cannot be reconciled with a civilized society probably number in the millions or tens of millions. The elites and their families are a small fraction of this total, but the vast majority are the hopelessly overeducated, the city dwellers who are rabidly leftist or socialist, the rentier class who have a financial stake in the current status quo, the grievance hustlers, and the militant alphabet perverts who refuse to get back in the closet.

Stalin deported a huge number of people to Siberia or Central Asia, but ultimately the cost of a bullet is far cheaper than many of the elites are worth. And in the case of Australia, the British used it as a dumping ground for criminals and the poor, Irish, etc, but what started as a penal colony eventually turned into a strong society of real men and women before reverting back into a penal colony.

I think in the long run after the immediate societal issues and the offenders have been dealt with, it will probably be preferable to exile those who cannot live in a civilized society without trying to corrupt it rather than using more harsh remedies.

          • In the end Moon, it always comes down to harsh remedies and methods, besides, why would you leave you mortal enemies alive to fight another day and be corrosive later?
