Bank of England Predicts Longest Recession in History as UK Govt Prepares New Taxes

The Bank of England predicted the United Kingdom will experience the longest recession in recorded history as the central bank once again raised interest rates to cope with the crippling inflation and as the supposedly Conservative government is preparing to again impose more taxes.

In addition to facing the prospect of higher tax bills under Chancellor Jeremy Hunt’s upcoming Autumn budget, Britons were informed by the Bank of England on Thursday that it would be raising interest rates by 0.75 per cent to 3 per cent, the largest single increase since in thirty years and puts the current rate on par with the aftermath of the 2008 global financial crisis.

Biden Administration Sponsors Yet Another Campaign Against Orban

The US government has opened a new chapter in the propaganda and disinformation war against Hungary. It now supports an allegedly “independent” media portal, whose sponsors, however, make it quite easy to see the goals which are being pursued against the country.

According to its own statements, the Internews platform focuses “on promoting a strong independent media sector” in Hungary. There will be further activities in Armenia, Georgia, Poland, Romania and the Ukraine. The aim is to “resist powerful interests trying to manipulate, isolate or control the press”.

The US embassy recently even produced a video listing Hungarian politicians and journalists who have allegedly made “anti-American” statements by name. Essentially these voices either criticized globalist policies to foment the Ukraine war or spoke out against the futility of sanctions.

Family Devastated After Explosive Overnight Crash Leaving Elderly Woman Hospitalized

The fate of the family home hangs in the balance.

SAN ANTONIO — Family members say 79-year-old Rosa Gomez is a big-hearted woman who has always put others first and they hope now that she needs help, family and friends will respond to her plight.

Gomez nearly died early Thursday when a speeding vehicle failed to make a turn and crashed all the way into her sturdy 1930s wood-framed home on Martin Luther King Drive, just east of St. Philip’s College.

The force of the explosive collision pushed Gomez through the home until she was enveloped in a mattress and trapped by the wrecked Nissan Murano.

From the first call for help until firefighters announced they had freed the woman, 40 long minutes had elapsed.

It was a heart wrenching wait for family members who were standing by outside the home, praying for her survival.

Granddaughter Josie Garza said the extended family had been sitting around the kitchen table, telling stories and laughing until just a few minutes before the house exploded.

Garza said “We all went to our rooms ready to lay down and I close my door and I hear like a big old boom like an explosion, the house shaking and all I do is say what happened and I run to the front. I can’t get to my grandma’s room.”

“I heard her screaming for help! ‘Help me! Help me!’ But I couldn’t find her!” Garza said.

Garza said when Gomez made it to the hospital, the news was bleak.

“She has two broken hands. Two broken feet. Broken ribs. I just want to know whoever did this, the guy that ran away and did this to my grandma, please turn yourself in!” Garza said.

Garza said what makes the situation worse is the injustice. She said Gomez is the type of woman who has always put others first.

“My grandma has a heart of gold and would give her last penny to anybody,” Garza said.

Medical Board Moves to Strip Dr. Peter McCullough of Certifications

Authored by Zachary Stieber via The Epoch Times (emphasis ours)

A medical board has moved to strip top cardiologist Dr. Peter McCullough of his certifications in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease, claiming that he provided misleading medical information to the public about COVID-19 vaccines.

The American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) informed McCullough of the action in a recent letter.

The board stated that McCullough’s statements questioning COVID-19 vaccination for healthy people younger than the age of 50 and pointing out that Americans have died after getting a COVID-19 vaccine triggered a review, which led to a recommendation that McCullough’s board certifications be revoked.

The ABIM’s Credentials and Certification Committee found that McCullough had “provided false or inaccurate medical information to the public,” the letter states.

The Taxpayer-Funded Child Abuse System

by Daniel Greenfield

The National Education Association was caught spending 9% of its budget on member assistance and 50% on various political programs. Teachers’ unions have become enormously powerful by turning their membership and their resources into assets for the Democrats.

Democrats have generously returned the favor by negotiating favorable contracts and allowing teachers’ unions to dismantle the educational system, including shutting down schools for an extended period during the pandemic, eliminating standards in favor of promotion and turning a blind eye to sex abuse. While the shutdown of schools traumatized a generation, leading to increased suicide rates, loss of learning skills, social decline and even higher crime rates, school sex abuse is an ongoing crisis that targets a narrower population of abused students.

That doesn’t mean that the damage is any less.

A recent report reveals that nearly one school employee has been arrested a day on child-sex related charges.

In just the last week, a Utah elementary school teacher was arrested for inappropriate behavior with two female students, a middle school teacher in Pennsylvania was caught sexually abusing a 13-year-old, an Oregon high school basketball coach was arrested for sexually absuing a 17-year-old, a California elementary school employee was arrested on 19 counts of abusing minors going back a decade, and a Washington middle school employee was charged with 137 counts of taking videos in female bathrooms: an incredible school crime log for one week.

Behind the individual arrests there is often a larger culture of institutional complicity. The ongoing case of James Eschert, a fourth-grade teacher in Connecticut accused of grooming and abusing little girls for years, is unique in its promise of institutional accountability.

Four school principals have been charged for not reporting the abuse, and for “neglect or injury of a child or imminent risk of serious harm to a child.” But that’s just the tip of the iceberg.

The Department of Education did not have a single document “in his employment file that indicated he was under scrutiny by state officials and there was no documentation of the repeated complaints by parents and students about his behavior.”

Institutional corruption like this is routine…

The White House Denies Flagging Online “Disinformation” for Censorship

White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre’s reactions during a news briefing are now under scrutiny, after it appeared she was trying to avoid answering questions related to the allegedly close ties between the US administration and Big Tech, particularly around censorship of “misinformation.”

Judging by public statements made earlier by Jean-Pierre’s predecessor Jen Psaki, those ties run extraordinarily deep, and this information, that caused a major controversy, has not been officially fully explained to this day. In July 2021, Psaki said that the Biden administration was flagging “problematic posts” on Facebook, deemed to be spreading information.

West Chester University Course Teaches First-Year Students to Resent White People

EXCLUSIVE — A required course for first-year students at West Chester University in Pennsylvania teaches students to resent white people, among other things.

The class forces upon freshmen the core elements of critical race theory and advances radical left-wing ideology through the diversity, equity, and inclusion agenda, according to a student in the class. Speaking on the condition of anonymity due to fear of retaliation, the student shared some of the material taught in the school’s mandated First Year Experience Requirement .

The course’s alleged purpose is to help “incoming first-year students” acclimate to college life, including analyzing the school’s “liberal arts tradition in higher education” and explaining the university’s General Education curriculum. However, after viewing some of the coursework and curricula, this is not what this course does. Rather, it teaches students to resent white people and conditions them to feel guilty about being white.

A couple of concerned students at Mount Royal University in Calgary, Alberta came to us at Rebel News with a syllabus from one of their general education classes titled “Social Media and Social Movements.” The content of this course seems to be directly aimed at attacking conservative values and figures with the motivation to push radical wokeism on students. This type of material by its nature, is harboring hate towards groups and individuals with opinions that are reflective of those who advocate for freedom and conservatism.

On Mount Royal’s website, they mention that “Mount Royal must be an equitable, diverse, inclusive and safe place for staff, students, and faculty alike.” The content that this professor is having his students read and learn definitely does not fall in line with promoting inclusivity, nor does it create a safe place for students with right-leaning politics. The content describes conservative values as “far-right” and claims that those who supported the Freedom Convoy were also “far-right” and that these political ideologies should be suppressed.

Saskatchewan Municipalities Say Farmers “Singled Out” By Liberal Fertilizer Targets

Saskatchewan rural communities want to lobby Ottawa to reconsider its demand that farmers reduce emissions from fertilizer use by 30% at a time of uncertain global food supplies and skyrocketing agriculture input costs.

The Saskatchewan Association of Rural Municipalities (SARM) recently passed a motion to lobby the federal government to reverse course on the voluntary reduction plan citing “detrimental effects” that the policy has on the farming economy and food production.

“The Federal Government is planning to reduce fertilizer emissions by 30% by 2030 for Canadian agri-businesses,” the motion reads.

Tamara Lich Told ‘Very Controversial’ Pat King Not to Go to Ottawa Protest, She Tells Inquiry

OTTAWA — Convoy leader Tamara Lich said the massive amount of money raised for the Freedom Convoy became an enormous source of tension among protest organizers.

While most of the money organizers raised became embroiled in legal disputes and was either returned to donors or left frozen in escrow accounts, the convoy raised more than $24 million across several platforms.

Lich, who is still facing criminal charges, said she was under constant pressure over the money, with people wanting her to spend it on sound systems for the protests or hot dogs for everyone.

‘What Do You Think Silencing a Voice is Going to Do? It’s Going to Make People Question This Even More,’ Says YouTuber Viva Frei

Bill-C11, the law concerning internet censorship, is coming to us faster than we think, and the crackdown on people speaking their minds is already happening, like the story I am about to tell you.

Many people were pleased to learn that Twitter would become a platform for free speech. Despite this, there was concern by many people that have benefited from all that censorship, that Twitter would be flooded with misinformation and disinformation.

Early Friday morning, October 28, 82-year-old Paul Pelosi, husband of Nancy Pelosi, the Democratic head of Congress in the United States, was attacked on his property in San Francisco with a hammer.

This tragedy has been the subject of several Twitter interactions.

Many people then shouted at misinformation and conspiracy theories. Matthew Gertz, in a series of 16 Twitter posts, described the situation of the far-right controversy spreading misinformation around this story.

In response to Matthew Gertz, YouTuber Viva Frei made a number of points.

For one of his posts, Viva Frei has received a warning for violating Twitter rules. The social media platform requested to remove the tweet and in addition, he was locked out of his Twitter account for an indefinite period of time.

Of course, Viva Frei refused to delete the post because it proved the platform right, which he mistakenly believes.

This is the interview with Viva Frei.

Britain Denies Russian Military’s Claim That U.K. Navy Blew Up Nord Stream Pipelines

Britain on October 29 denied a Russian Defense Ministry claim that British Navy personnel blew up the Nord Stream gas pipelines last month, saying the accusation is the latest “invented story” put out by Moscow.

Britain’s Defense Ministry said in a statement that Russia’s accusation was designed to “detract from their disastrous handling of the illegal invasion of Ukraine.”

The Russian Defense Ministry “is resorting to peddling false claims of an epic scale,” the statement added. “This invented story, says more about the arguments going on inside the Russian Government than it does about the west.”

Russia has previously said the leaks appeared to be the result of state-sponsored “terrorism” and blamed the West for the explosions in September, which ruptured the Nord Stream 1 and Nord Stream 2 pipelines on the bed of the Baltic Sea built to deliver Russian natural gas to Germany.

France: Macron Meets With Big Tech and Disinformation Specialist for “Major International Initiative”

French President Emmanuel Macron continues his quest for positioning himself as the leader on a number of issues; and “disinformation” and attempts at regulating the internet, via international tech platforms, are no exception.

It should also not come as a surprise that the initiative Macron is about to unveil is not only dubbed a “major international” one, but might also end up filed along with other “think of the children” platitudes and political tactics, that in reality introduce contentious and wide-reaching measures.

Be that as it may, on November 10, Macron plans to gather representatives of a diverse group of tech heavy-hitters: Microsoft, Facebook (Meta), Amazon, then French video platform Dailymotion, and China’s TikTok.

UK: Illegal Immigrant Who Raped Woman After He Was Put Up in Taxpayer-Funded Hotel is Jailed for Nine Years — as Man in His 30s is Arrested After Teenager ‘Was Raped’ At Refugee Hotel in London

An illegal immigrant who was put up in a hotel at the taxpayer’s expense was jailed for nine years today for raping a drunken woman during a night out.

Beauty Pageant’s Rejection of Transgender Women is Legal, Appeals Court Rules

Authored by Zachary Stieber via The Epoch Times

Miss United States of America is legally able to reject men who claim that they’re women, an appeals court has ruled.

The beauty pageant’s “natural born female” requirement conveys a message and the U.S. Constitution’s First Amendment gives the pageant the ability to voice that message and enforce the rule, Circuit Judge Lawrence VanDyke, a Trump appointee, wrote in a Nov. 2 ruling.

“Forcing the Pageant to accept Green as a participant would fundamentally alter the Pageant’s expressive message in direct violation of the First Amendment,” VanDyke wrote for the majority of a panel of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.

NPR Shocks by Airing Audio of Woman Getting an Abortion: ‘Disturbing and Evil on Every Level’

    David Icke says Netherlands, other Schengen countries banned him for two years

    https://nltimes.nl/2022/11/04/david-icke-says-netherlands-schengen-countries-banned-two-years
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    A transparency request in Canada has revealed the following: the government plans to spend more than $100 million Canadian dollars from 2021 to advance the Known Traveller Digital Identity global surveillance project with the World Economic Forum. The aim is to set up a world passport authority controlled from the US.
    A commentary by Norbert Häring.
    The Known Traveller principle aims to disseminate and enforce the use of a globally harmonised biometric identity database. Accenture, the World Economic Forum, US Homeland Security, the governments of Canada and the Netherlands, among others, and their major airports are collaborating in this regard.
    It is based on getting people to register with their own biometric data at border controls, airports, train stations or airlines so that people can be monitored automatically and without exception at all checkpoints. The pilot phase will initially be entirely voluntary. After that, the cookie-banner principle will continue with apparent voluntariness. There are advantages to participating and disadvantages to not participating. These may become more intense over time, until the apparently voluntary choice to stay at home or to use and reveal one’s biometric data.
    Question from a female MEP
    Conservative MP Leslyn Lewis asked the government and Transport Minister Omar Alghabra about details of Canada’s participation in the World Economic Forum’s Known Traveller Digital Identity program.
    Alghabra’s response states that the government has budgeted a total of $105.3 Canadian (approximately €77 million) for five years beginning in 2021 to advance the pilot project.
    A parallel push is building
    In May, Life Site News reported that Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, who was Young Global Leader at the World Economic Forum, had announced that he was negotiating with the country’s largest airlines to make the use of a digital ID with facial recognition mandatory. Four airlines would “soon” begin doing so, according to the government statement at the time.
    A video circulated in which the head of the World Economic Forum, Klaus Schwab, boasted that half of Canada’s cabinet was made up of World Economic Forum people. According to a compilation by the browser extension Koen (Who funds who), 13 members of the government have an official link to the World Economic Forum.
    Aviation as a gateway for surveillance tools
    Aviation has repeatedly been a gateway for the introduction of new surveillance technologies. The typical sequence looks like this: The US introduces it and announces that the new technology – at the latest biometrics in ID cards – will be mandatory for entry after a transitional period. The European Commission agrees to introduce this obligation and does everything to make it a reality, if necessary by trickery or massive pressure on the Parliament. The rest of the world will have no choice but to follow suit.
    The next step is to introduce fingerprint scanners at European airports, which have already long been used at the US border.
    Air travel will, of course, also be used to introduce a digital identity administered from the US for all travelling world citizens, I have called this ‘Silicon Valley as the world passport authority’. It is difficult to explain in any other way why the US has declared the pandemic over and the health authorities there have announced that there is no longer any reason to treat vaccinated people differently from unvaccinated people, but that it is still compulsory to show that you have been vaccinated in order to travel to the US.
    According to statements by representatives of the pharmaceutical industry and Bill Gates, the aim is to achieve annual vaccination with a (supposedly) universal vaccine against influenza and Corona variants. Apparently, they want to keep the vaccination certificate requirement until they are ready to make proof of current vaccination coverage with this alleged universal vaccination a condition of entry.
    Once such a digital secondary passport is established as a health passport, any other features can be inserted into it and made mandatory at the request of the US government.
