Gates of Vienna News Feed 2/12/2022

Police in Windsor, Ontario began enforcing the court injunction, surrounding protesters at the Ambassador Bridge and towing vehicles, with the help of tow trucks brought in from the US side. Some police wore military-style uniforms and carried sniper rifles, with several of them visible on nearby rooftops. However, the protesters were reinforced with new arrivals during the day, and the bridge remains blocked by the truckers. Meanwhile, a former city council candidate in St. Catherines, Ontario demanded that lethal force be used to remove the protesters. Also, a blockade has begun at the Blue Water Bridge in Sarnia, Ontario. American truckers are gathering under the bridge on the other side, in Port Huron, Michigan.

In other news, according to intelligence experts, more than half a million Afghans left the country after the fall of Kabul last year and are heading for Europe and the British Isles.

Polish Economy Expected to Grow at Faster Rate Than EU Average Over Next Two Years

Poland’s economy continued to defy expectations in the second half of 2021 and is expected to enjoy a growth rate significantly higher than the EU average in the next two years, according to an economic forecast published by the European Commission.

In the EU executive’s Winter 2022 forecast, Poland confirmed its resilience in the face of coronavirus and disrupted supply chains, posting a 2.1-percent increase in the third quarter of last year, “mainly due to the gradual loosening of pandemic restrictions,” according to the Commission report.

It estimated that Poland’s GDP growth increased by 5.7 percent last year, whereas earlier forecasts had predicted a rise of just 4.9 percent. The Commission forecasts that this year Poland’s GDP will increase by 5.5 percent, and by 4.2 percent in 2023.

She had sustained multiple stab wounds, police said.

Police then arrested E’nijah’s mother, Menokka Karr Nealy, 29, who was still at the apartment.

Antifa Terrorist With Pipe Bomb Who Targeted Jan. 6 Patriot Event is Released From Jail Without Posting Bond — While J-6er Jeremy Brown is Still Held in Same Jail on Misdemeanor Charge

As Cara Castronuova reported earlier at The Gateway Pundit — An Antifa member with a bomb was arrested on January 6th at a political rally in Florida. The suspect, Garrett James Smith, was seen running away before he was apprehended by police and caught with a backpack containing a pipe bomb, a gas mask, pepper spray, smoke rockets, and flammable rags. He also carried a “Direct Action” Checklist (see photos below).

Smith was there to counter-protest a rally organized by Trump Supporters outside of Pinellas County Jail to demand the release of Political Prisoner Jeremy Brown, who remains in jail with no bail in Florida. Brown is a decorated U.S. Army special forces soldier. Brown refused to agree to be an FBI informant during the Jan. 6 riots so they arrested him months later on misdemeanor trespassing charges. Jeremy Brown was standing outside the US Capitol on Jan. 6 and inside the invisible No-Go zone so he was later arrested. Brown currently sits in jail without human rights, and without trial on a misdemeanor trespassing charge.

Auditor Bryan Geels Identified Nearly 100,000 Ballots in Georgia That Were Invalid — Raffensperger Blew it Off, Misrepresented the Data, And Certified the 2020 Election Anyways

Bryan Geels identified nearly 100,000 ballots that should not have been included in the 2020 Election in Georgia. Secretary of State Raffensperger discounted Geels’s results, certified the election results for Job Biden with a 10,000 voter margin even though the standard of proof in an election contest in Georgia is doubt.

In the presentation with Garland Favorito at VoterGA on Wednesday, February 9, 2022, a special guest was introduced by the name of Bryan Geels. Mr. Geels was hired by the Trump team in Georgia to review the results of the 2020 Election in that state. The Trump team sued the Georgia Secretary of State who certified the fraudulent results.

DeSantis Says Parents Should Have the Right to Sue School Districts That ‘Flouted Law’ By Mandating Masks

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis voiced opposition to legislation that would strip funds that implemented mask mandates and instead suggested that parents should have the right to sue over the harm that masking caused their children.

“Rather than take money that may penalize a teacher or student because of the actions of some union-controlled school board members, my view would be — let’s not do that,” DeSantis said in a Friday news conference, according to the Tampa Bay Times. “But what you could do is say, any parent whose kid was illegally forced masked this year in Florida, in any of those districts, they should have the right to sue if their kids have any negative effects of it.”

Some Michigan Republicans spoke out in support of Canadian truckers Friday as the “Freedom Convoy” against vaccine mandates reached the Ambassador Bridge connecting Canada and Detroit.

The GOP remarks contrasted sharply with those from Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, a Democrat who blasted the “Freedom Convoy” as “an illegal blockade.”

Among the Michigan Republicans backing the truckers was former Detroit police Chief James Craig, who is looking to unseat Whitmer as governor. On Friday, Craig accused Whitmer and President Biden of “demonizing the truckers,” according to the Detroit News.

Authorities: Protesters in Stalemate Over Ambassador Bridge Blockade; Arrest Made

Windsor — The departure of vehicles blocking the Ambassador Bridge on Saturday raised hopes that the crossing would finally open after five days, but by evening the crowd protesting against mandatory vaccination for trucks grew near the bridge.

The demonstrators are continuing despite a massive law enforcement presence that has included making arrests, writing tickets and towing vehicles, as they have vowed they would. But as Day 5 of the blockade neared its finish, a stalemate lingered between protesters and the police.

Police enforcement of injunctions has become a point of controversy across Canada. Critics are questioning whether police have been proactive.

In Edmonton, the capital of the province of Alberta, honking continued despite an injunction against protesters. Mayor Amarjeet Sohi told the Edmonton Journal Saturday that “while I can’t direct police, I do encourage them to enforce the injunction.”

Paula Simons, an independent senator from the province of Alberta, asked Saturday night on Twitter: “At what point does the failure or unwillingness of a police service to enforce a court ordered injunction cross over to contempt of court?”

More than 24 hours after the injunction took effect in Windsor, Chris Aikman of Comox Valley, British Columbia wrote: “Ambassador Bridge is still blocked, still no arrests. Looks like the injunction was meant to be fluff. We need to know why.”

Windsor police did not respond to a query on how many arrests had been made…

Breaking: Ontario Police Move in on Truckers Blockading Ambassador Bridge

Windsor police have begun moving in to disperse the ongoing freedom protest on Ambassador Bridge connecting Detroit, Michigan, to Windsor, Ontario. This comes a day after an Ontario judge ordered the protestors to clear the site.

Police moved to enforce an injunction against the pro-freedom demonstration which has blocked traffic across the Ambassador Bridge by demonstrators protesting against COVID-19 restrictions. Based on available footage, it appears that a SWAT team has been sent in Saturday morning to end the protest.

Around 11 am local time, Windsor police announced on Twitter that law enforcement could begin making arrests. “Enforcement continuing, individuals who are located within the demonstration area are subject to arrest,” the Windsor police wrote. “People are advised to immediately vacate the area.”

A communication from Windsor Police Service said Friday that obstruction with the “lawful use” of property such as the Ambassador Bridge is a criminal offense known as mischief to property. The police said they’re “providing notice that anyone blocking streets or assisting others in the blocking of streets may be committing a criminal offence and must immediately cease further unlawful activity or you may face charges. You could be arrested if you are a party to the offence or assisting others in the direct or indirect commission of this offence.”

Canadian authorities say the ramifications for such actions include seizing vehicles and barring protestors from visiting the United States for the foreseeable future.

Demonstrators told Fox 2 News that the Freedom Convoy supporters plan to stay to continue demonstrating and will remain peaceful, even though officials are now threatening arrest. “We’re staying here for our rights, we’re not just walking out of here after this,” one protestor said. “We’ve gone around and policed ourselves. We’ve said there’s no way anybody intends to get violent.”

“It’ll be peaceful. We’re Canadians, we’re not going to fight the police,” another protestor said, while police were aided by drones and other tactical units.

Placing the province under a state of emergency, Ontario Premiere Doug Ford issued an emergency order Friday demanding that protestors reopen the Ambassador Bridge, a busy trade route between Canada and the United States.

In terms of concessions, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s health minister said Friday the government is “actively reviewing” the COVID-19 measures.

In that regard, the Manitoba province recently announced they’re ending all restrictions by March 15. Saskatchewan and Alberta have already moved to end their restrictions. Ontario is in the process of doing the same.

Ottawa Convoy Protest Enters Third Week in Nation’s Capital

A party-like atmosphere took over the streets of Ottawa in the face of a threatened crackdown from two levels of government.

Rebel News has had a team of reporters embedded in the truck convoy to Ottawa since it began the journey across the country. To support their independent journalism, please visit ConvoyReports.com

The convoy began as a trucker’s protest against federally imposed cross border vaccine mandates but quickly morphed into a broad movement against COVID-19 restrictions and has inspired weekly convoys in cities across Canada and around the world. Thousands of truckers and supporters rolled into Ottawa January 28 and 29 and many have remained since.

Ontario Premier Doug Ford declared a state of emergency to deal with protesters blocking the Ambassador Bridge in Windsor and what he called an “occupation” of Canadians in their own country’s capital city.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has said all options are on the table to clear away the Ottawa protest and the blockade at the Ambassador. The bridge between Windsor and Detroit facilitates one quarter of all cross-border commerce between Canada and the United States and is a vital supply route for the auto industry in both countries.

Convoy participants appear to be doing the work the city should, picking up garbage and shovelling snow off public sidewalks.

Hygiene also remains high, unlike what left-wing protests often devolve into.

Though there is an injunction obtained by the city against honking, some police have taken a more hands-off approach to people who can’t keep their hands off their horns.

The Democracy Fund, a registered Canadian charity with a focus on civil liberties defence and education, has a free portal for truckers needing legal help in Ottawa at TruckerLaw.ca.

Islanders in cars, trucks and even some tractors made their way along University Avenue and through downtown Charlottetown Saturday in what was billed as a “slow roll” protest against COVID-19 vaccine mandates.

Most of the trucks were pickup trucks rather than larger rigs, based on what CBC staff could see from various vantage points. Many of the vehicles were decked out with Canadian flags and anti-mandate signs, some of them directed at Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

A stream of cars and pickup trucks coming from Montague was at least a kilometre long by the time it reached the Cherry Valley entry to the Trans-Canada Highway at around 11:30 a.m. AT. Many of the vehicles had their four-way flashers on as they proceeded to Charlottetown.

But a threatened blockade of Paris failed to materialize Saturday, despite days of online organizing efforts.

Free Speech in the UK?

Freedom of speech is doing extremely poorly in the UK, according to a recent YouGov poll. When Britons were asked what should be the priority, 43% said protecting people from offensive or hateful speech should be the priority, while only 38% said the focus should be on protecting free speech. Generally, men and conservative voters were more concerned about protecting free speech, while women, younger people and Labour voters were more concerned about blocking offensive or hateful speech.

The poll also showed that self-censorship is thriving: 57% of those polled said they have “found themselves stopping themselves from expressing their political or social views for fear of judgement or negative responses from others.”

New French Riot Police Unit Violently Repress Anti-Vaccine March

A new unit, the CRS 8 (FAR) which is specialised in urban violence was deployed on the Champs Élysées for the anti-vaccine demonstration on Saturday, February 12, 2022.

The Macron administration is escalating its response against citizens who are protesting for their freedom and against the Corona measures. In Paris, the new police unit took up positions with armored vehicles against peaceful marchers.

This is the first time these CRS units have been deployed to a demonstration. The CRS 8 is a new intervention force capable of intervening in 15 minutes within a radius of 300 km anywhere in France. It is a special unit that can be mobilized 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to intervene in the event of urban violence. But the demonstration in Paris was peaceful.

These are images that are more reminiscent of a deployment due to a terrorist attack or another catastrophe. They also show a totalitarian Corona state at war with its own people.

Norway Lifts Almost All Remaining Coronavirus Restrictions

HELSINKI (AP) — Norway says it is lifting almost all remaining COVID restrictions as it doesn’t see a major health threat to citizens any more, even though the omicron variant is still spreading in the Nordic nation.

“This is the day we have been waiting for,” said Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Stoere during a news conference in Oslo on Saturday. “We are removing almost all coronavirus measures.”

He justified the move by saying that Norwegians are well protected by vaccines against the COVID-19 pandemic and the proportion of citizens who end in up in hospital has remained low despite the spread of the omicron variant.

As of Saturday, Norwegians are no longer required to wear masks in crowded places and the one-meter (3-foot) distancing rule is abolished. In addition, self-isolation requirements are lifted and replaced with a recommendation that infected adults stay at home for four days.

UK: Diane Abbott Accuses ‘Gung Ho’ Western Allies of Wanting to Start Another War With Russia

The U.K.’s former shadow home secretary has questioned the extent to which Russia should be treated as the aggressor in the Ukraine crisis, despite the country parking 130,000 troops along the border with Ukraine.

Diane Abbott, a close confidant of Labour’s former socialist leader Jeremy Corbyn, made the controversial remarks during a meeting of the far-left Stop the War coalition on Thursday, of which Corbyn has previously chaired. The group got its start over opposition to the war in Iraq in 2001, a war which left was initially aligned against, but which most citizens in the U.S. and U.K. now regret partaking in.

UK: Insane: “Burgers Come With a Dose of Misogyny”: ‘Vegan Feminist’ Carol Adams Claims Meat is Linked to “White Supremacism” And “Racism” During Unhinged Oxford Debate — (Video)

Earlier this week, The Oxford Union hosted a debate about whether “society should move beyond meat” in favor of an all plant-based diet.

Needless to say, it was a total clown show, at least when certain speakers were given the floor. The longstanding institution has hosted debates within its halls for 190 years, and bills itself as the “world’s foremost debating society,” but now, it’s 2022, and wokeness must prevail!

During the debate, ‘vegan feminist’ author Carol Adams took things a leap too far, blasting individuals who choose to eat meat (as humans always have) for doing so because they hold a “white supremacist patriarchal worldview.”

India: Pregnant Woman Stabbed to Death in Gujarat

RAJKOT: A 23-year-old pregnant woman from Rajkot was stabbed to death and her body abandoned in the forest area near Bhavnath Taleti in Junagadh allegedly by her live-in partner for four years. Police on Saturday arrested the Mansukh alias Tino Jadav (32) for the murder of his partner Urmila Solanki, suspecting her of having an affair.

Urmila’s body was found in the forest area on Friday evening. Junagadh deputy superintendent of police Pradeepsinh Jadeja told TOI, “The woman’s body was dragged for about 10 feet. Her left hand was missing, perhaps eaten by a wild animal.”

Deputy commissioner of police (zone-1) in Rajkot Pravin Kumar said, “Jadav suspected that Urmila was having an affair. They had quarrels over the issue earlier too. In Bhavnath, Jadav rebuked Urmila for having an affair following which the duo had a heated argument. Jadav stabbed Urmila about half a dozen times killing her on the spot.”

According to a complaint filed by Urmila’s mother Bhavna Solanki with Bhavnath police station in Junagadh, Jadav wanted Urmila to terminate her pregnancy, but she insisted on continuing with it.

The complaint further stated that Urmila was in a relationship with Jadav for the last 10 years. But they had started living together in Rajkot about four years ago. Police said that Jadav was into bootlegging and had been arrested in the past…

  1. More Than 500,000 Afghan Migrants Are Heading for Europe and the Channel Coast as Intelligence Chiefs Discuss How to Tackle Exodus.
Warnings of invasion such as this have been around for many years and it was known that hundreds of thousands of immigrants from Africa/Middle East and Indian Sub Continent would make their way to Europe and this they have done and seemingly without any organised restrictions being imposed, therefore now Europe (example) has a Muslim population as I understand of over 50 Million. The United Kingdom has been swamped with illegal immigrants for many years-many illegals still living in the UK undetected-the UK’s infrastructure is collapsing under such a weight of such people. The Deceit of Multiculturalism has played its part in destroying a once fine nation to the shambolic mess it is now in.

  2. Adele Accused of Transphobia for Saying She “Loves Being a Woman” At Brits Awards (Video)
Good for you Adele, I may not like your singing or the awuful music you are accompanying but I am with you all the way-very glad youre a woman and a most attractive one. Keep on loving being a woman, never mind the other idiots, they are just jealous.

    • That’s an interesting comment, tarien. I listen mainly, but not exclusively, to classical music, but I enjoy Adele’s voice; my only complaint, having seen one of her concerts on tv, is her frequent use of the f-word when talking to the audience, which is likely attributable to her being an “Essex Girl”. For non-Brits here’s a bit of social/cultural history:

In the WW2 Blitz, the mainly working-class East End of London was frequently targeted by the Luftwaffe as that’s where the docks were; after the war, many inhabitants were rehoused in Essex, east of London on the north bank of the Thames. Decades later, the “Essex Girl” (and sometimes “Man” became a stereotype; here’s a joke to illustrate the point.

An Essex Girl has been injured, and the paramedic is trying to find out where:
Paramedic: “Where are you bleeding from?”
      Essex Girl: “Effing Romford*!”

(*Romford being a town in the part of Essex concerned)

What all this says about the class snobbery of the English is a whole other subject!

A an Afgahan man, cuts of the head of his 17 year old wife and parades it around the street. For what reason we know not but the act however is barbaric, Islam dictates and blindly they follow. Does Europe want such people? No doubt there are thousands of incidents such as above-people beware, such is coming near you.
