“Take Only What You Need: “ DC Asks People to Limit Supermarket Purchases as Empty Shelves Persist

“If you’re hitting the grocery store to prepare for winter weather, please just buy what you need and leave some for others! You may have noticed empty shelves in some stores due to national supply chain issues, but there is no need to buy more than you normally would.”

Above is a recent tweet from the DC Homeland Security and Emergency Management Agency (DC HSEMA) completely contradicting what President Biden told the nation last Wednesday that images of empty store shelves in supermarkets are fake news.

Michael Avenatti Heading to Trial Against Ex-Client Stormy Daniels After Judge Denies Motion to Adjourn

Michael Avenatti, the celebrity lawyer who became a household name representing porn star Stormy Daniels in lawsuits against former President Donald Trump, will face his former client in trial on Monday to face allegations that he swindled her out of $300,000.

Daniels’ testimony in Manhattan federal court will be pivotal for prosecutors trying to prove Avenatti engaged in wire fraud and aggravated identity theft to keep from giving his client money he had received from her book publisher.

Avenatti’s legal team filed a motion requesting the trial date be pushed back until February 7, 2022, contending that the courthouse’s mask mandate — which affects witnesses — violates Avenatti’s Sixth Amendment fair trial and Confrontation Clause rights.

The Children’s Health Defense, a group sponsoring the “Defeat the Mandates” event, said they expected 20,000 people to participate in the mile-long march.

Calls to end vaccine mandates

Protest organizers said mandates are un-American and called for an end to mass firings, “segregating” and calling Americans unpatriotic over vaccine status on the event’s website.

The website puts an emphasis on advocating for protecting freedom and both vaccinated and unvaccinated people marching in “peace.”…

Anti-Vaccine Mandate Truck Convoy Loops Around Near Ambassador Bridge

A convoy of trucks slowed traffic along Huron Church Road much of Sunday in protest of vaccine mandates for truck drivers crossing the Canada-United States border.

Windsor police warned of high-volume traffic pockets along the road and asked drivers to avoid the area if possible.

The convoy of transport trucks, vans and other vehicles, drove loops from Highway 401 down Huron Church to Wyandotte Street West near the Ambassador Bridge. Many displayed Canadian flags and protest signs related to COVID-19, vaccination mandates and other pandemic restrictions.

Windsor police said they expect the truck convoy to be present in Windsor until Jan. 26, when bystanders to Sunday’s protest — as well as social media posts — said the convoy will begin driving to Ottawa.

It has become quite grotesque to see how little their dictatorial measures apply to them: The Austrian ruling class do not have to suffer the consequences of their Corona policies. In fact, the parliamentary administration had asked the police at Linz Airport not to carry out any Corona checks on Sobotka.

British Polling Agencies Predict Orban to Win Election

It is now possible to bet on the outcome of the 2022 Hungarian general elections. Both Unibet and BetOnline firmly believe that current Prime Minister Viktor Orban is more likely to win than the joint opposition’s candidate, Péter Marki-Zay.

Unibet is one of the first betting offices to provide an opportunity to bet on this year’s Hungarian elections.

Viktor Orban’s victory as Prime Minister pays only 1.25 times the money, while Péter Marki-Zay’s win pays 3 times. This means that the bookmaker is assuming a 72% probability of a Fidesz victory and 28% for the opposition alliance. According to taktikaiszavazas.hu‘s Facebook post, this is roughly consistent with the outcome that can be inferred from current surveys.

France: Six Statues Decapitated in a Church

There is no telling who is behind this. Still, is it possible, just possible, that this had something to do with this Qur’an passage? “When your Lord inspired to the angels, I am with you, so strengthen those who have believed. I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieved, so strike upon the necks and strike from them every fingertip.” (8:12) Or this one? “When you meet the unbelievers, strike the necks…” (47:4)

After all, the people who believe that passage about cutting off heads is holy writ also believe that Christianity is a false religion and that they are commanded to fight unbelievers so that Allah may punish them by the hands of the believers (cf. Qur’an 9:14-15). They are also likely familiar with the Qur’an’s suggestion that the destroyed remnants of ancient non-Muslim civilizations are a sign of Allah’s punishment of those who rejected his truth: “Many were the Ways of Life that have passed away before you: travel through the earth, and see what was the end of those who rejected Truth.” (Qur’an 3:137) The ruins of non-Muslim civilizations thus bear witness to the truth of Islam. What ensues from that idea? The creation of more ruins.

Maybe it’s just a coincidence. But large numbers of people who believe these things have entered France in recent years. However, given the political situation and the state of the establishment media there, we will likely never know for sure.

Just as the covid narrative is slowly disintegrating even as its MSM propaganda powers “cancel” anyone who dares to speak out against the lies — so the “Russia is about to invade Ukraine” plotline just suffered a major blow after the chief of Germany’s navy, vice-admiral Kay-Achim Schönbach , said on Friday that Crimea “will never come back”, and that what Putin “really wants is respect…and it is easy to give him the respect he really demands — and probably deserves.”

Oxford University: Hungary Has Loosest Coronavirus Measures in Europe

Omicron, the new, aggressive mutation of the coronavirus, is spreading rapidly in Hungary, increasing the number of cases. The phenomenon is not unique, and not new: already at the beginning of December, scientists around the world suspected that the largest wave of the coronavirus to date could be upon us. The only question was whether the South African mutation would cause more severe symptoms than the delta variant. Epidemic curves are reaching new heights in several European countries. However, there is one striking difference between Hungary and the other countries: Hungary decided not to significantly tighten restrictions, while other countries introduced restrictions when the variant emerged, the portal Portfolio reports. According to data from Oxford University, there is no other country in Europe with such loose coronavirus regulations.

UK: Hook-Handed Hate Preacher’s Toxic Family: Abu Hamza’s Seven Sons Are All Criminals or Extremists Who Have Clocked Up 40 Years in Jail Between Them (And the Whole Clan Has Cost Taxpayers £10million)

Career crook Tito ibn Sheikh appeared in the dock at Southwark Crown Court this week.

But his crime — plotting to launder hundreds of thousands of pounds of stolen money for which he was sentenced to nearly four years — was perhaps less shocking than his notorious family background.

He was born Hamza Mustafa Kamel before changing his name to Tito ibn Sheikh, which roughly translated means ‘son of a venerable man’ in Arabic.

His father — the so-called ‘venerable man’ — is Abu Hamza, the infamous ‘hook-handed’ cleric of Finsbury Park mosque who is now serving life without the possibility of parole in the U.S. for terror offences there and in the UK.

Tito ibn Sheikh, as he is now, is one of Abu Hamza’s six sons.

Four of them have criminal convictions for offences including terrorism, armed robbery, drug dealing, fraud and burglary, and the remaining two have a track record of Islamic extremism.

Every one of them, in other words, has been a blight on this country.

Indifference to a Christian Genocide

A recent and ostensibly insignificant “label change” by the U.S. Department of State sheds light on both President Joe Biden and former president Barack Obama, as well as on a potential presidential candidate for 2024, Hillary Clinton.

On November 17, 2021, the State Department removed Nigeria from its list of Countries of Particular Concern, that is, nations which engage in, or tolerate violations of, religious freedom. It did this despite several human rights organizations characterizing the persecution meted out to Nigeria’s Christians as a “genocide.”

According to an August 2021 report, since the Islamic insurgency began in earnest in July 2009 — first at the hands of Boko Haram, an Islamic terrorist organization, and later by the Fulani, Muslim herdsmen also motivated by jihadist ideology — more than 60,000 Christians have either been murdered or abducted during raids.

At the end some 100 – 150 Antifa signed for the violent and destructive riots.

    So much for Powerline.
