“Hey, Hey, Ho, Ho, Mandates Have to Go!” IRS Employees Protest Vaccine Mandates

“We the people are p…… off,” read the sweater of one protester gathered in front of the James V. Hansen Federal Building Thursday in response to President Joe Biden’s vaccine mandates.

Federal employees were reportedly told they had to be fully vaccinated by Nov. 1 — or risk being fired. According to the National Treasury Employees Union, most of the employees participating in the protest have been vaccinated because of the mandate. “They have a right to be upset,” said Robert Lawrence, the president of NTEU Chapter 67. “They should have a choice.”

Chapter 67 represents the employees of the IRS in Ogden. Protesters lined the sidewalk chanting “freedom not force” as they flew American flags and hoisted various signs of discontent.

3,000 NYC Teachers Asked for Vaccination Exemptions, Union Says

By Peter Svab of Epoch Times

Around 3,000 New York City teachers have asked for medical and religious exemptions from the city’s COVID-19 vaccination mandate, according to the city’s teachers union.

The city requires all school staff to be vaccinated or exempted by midnight on Sept. 27. The union, United Federation of Teachers (UFT) said on Sept. 24 that 90-95 percent of teachers have received the vaccine. That would leave about 4,000-8,000 unvaccinated, including those who have asked for the exemption.

The exemptions are largely medical, UFT President Michael Mulgrew told reporters during a Sept. 24 teleconference. He didn’t specify how many have been granted. Those rejected have an option to appeal, but Mulgrew said he didn’t know how many have done so.

Court Workers Protest Vaccine Mandate Outside Chief Judge’s Home

More than 300 court employees protested outside New York Chief Judge Janet DiFiore’s Westchester County home Saturday demanding she scrap a COVID-19 vaccination mandate set for Monday.

They chanted “What do we want? No mandate. What do we want? Choice.”

“We want to have a choice, get a vaccine or weekly testing like the NYPD,” Dennis Quirk, president of New York State Court Officers Association, said. “If it is good enough for the cops, it should be good enough for court employees. She is a dictator, she won’t even talk to us.”

Quirk received a 30-day suspension in August for posting DiFiore’s home addresses on social media in order to encourage protests outside of her residences.

JetBlue Flight Diverted After Passenger Storms Cockpit, Strangles Flight Attendant

The number of in-air incidents that have taken place in 2021 seems to be continuing to rise.

But, unlike many other disturbances that have been happening on flights, the most recent one didn’t have anything to do with a mask mandate.

Instead, a recent JetBlue flight from Boston to San Juan had to be diverted on Wednesday of last week after a passenger “became angry” about being unable to make a cell phone call toward the end of a flight, according to The Daily Beast.

The report, which cited an FBI affidavit, said that a passenger named Khalil El Dahr had to be restrained to a chair with “multiple seatbelt extenders” after an “insane” altercation during a flight.

El Dahr reportedly pulled himself out of his seat and “rushed toward the cockpit” with about 45 minutes left in his flight. He yelled in both Spanish and Arabic that “someone should shoot and kill him”, the Daily Beast reported.

Judge Denies Police Union’s Effort to Delay Vaccine Mandate in Massachusetts

Authored by Mimi Nguyen Ly via The Epoch Times

A Massachusetts judge has denied a bid by the state police union to delay mandatory vaccinations for all state employees.

The State Police Association of Massachusetts, a union representing about 1,800 state police officers, filed a lawsuit (pdf) last week asking the judge to put the mandate on hold to give the union time to “negotiate the terms and conditions of their employment” before a deadline of Oct. 17.

“The public interest is, unquestionably, best served by stopping the spread of the virus, in order to protect people from becoming ill, ensure adequate supply of medical services, and curtail the emergence of new, deadlier variants of the virus,” Judge Jackie Cowin said in the decision, reported The Associated Press.

Massachusetts Gov. Charlie Baker, a Republican, issued an executive order last month that would require proof of COVID-19 vaccination for all executive department employees by Oct. 17.

Afghanistan: Taliban Hang Bodies as Warning in City of Herat

The Taliban say they have shot dead four alleged kidnappers and hung their bodies in public squares in the Afghan city of Herat.

The gruesome display came a day after a notorious Taliban official warned that extreme punishments such as executions and amputations would resume.

The men were killed in a gun battle after allegedly seizing a businessman and his son, a local official said.

Local residents said a body was hung from a crane in the city centre.

Wazir Ahmad Seddiqi, a local shopkeeper, told the Associated Press news agency that four bodies were brought to the square, one was hung there and the three other bodies were moved to other squares in the city to be displayed.

The deputy governor of Herat, Maulwai Shair, said displaying the bodies was done to deter further abductions. He said the men were killed in a gun battle after the Taliban learnt that they had kidnapped a businessman and his son — who were both freed.

The BBC has not independently confirmed the circumstances under which the men were killed.

However, graphic images shared on social media appeared to show bloody bodies on the back of a pick-up truck with a crane hoisting one man up…

Taliban Hang Body in Public; Signal Return to Past Tactics

KABUL, Afghanistan (AP) — The Taliban hanged a dead body from a crane parked in a city square in Afghanistan on Saturday in a gruesome display that signaled the hard-line movement’s return to some of its brutal tactics of the past.

Taliban officials initially brought four bodies to the central square in the western city of Herat, then moved three of them to other parts of the city for public display, said Wazir Ahmad Seddiqi, who runs a pharmacy on the edge of the square.

Taliban officials announced that the four were caught taking part in a kidnapping earlier Saturday and were killed by police, Seddiqi said. Ziaulhaq Jalali, a Taliban-appointed district police chief in Herat, said later that Taliban members rescued a father and son who had been abducted by four kidnappers after an exchange of gunfire. He said a Taliban fighter and a civilian were wounded by the kidnappers, and that the kidnappers were killed in crossfire.

An Associated Press video showed crowds gathering around the crane and peering up at the body as some men chanted.

“The aim of this action is to alert all criminals that they are not safe,” a Taliban commander who did not identify himself told the AP in an on-camera interview conducted in the square…

Is China Using Wokeism to Erode American Democracy?

Authored by Frank Fang and Jan Jekielek via The Epoch Times

The communist regime in China is using “wokeism” as a geopolitical tool to undermine U.S. democracy, said Vivek Ramaswamy, author of “Woke, Inc.: Inside Corporate America’s Social Justice Scam.”

“They [China] are using that to divide us, to use that as a kink in our armor to divide us from within, by getting corporations to criticize injustice here, without saying a peep about injustice over there and deflecting accountability for their human rights abuses,” Ramaswamy said in a recent interview with EpochTV’s “American Thought Leaders.”

He said U.S. companies like NBA and Disney—who criticize social issues in the United States but remain silent on China’s human rights abuses such as those in Xinjiang—are in fact empowering communist China.

Abandoned IDs Found at US Border Show Haitian Migrants Held Chilean Refugee Status: Report

Amid the Biden administration’s ongoing border crisis, it appears a number of Haitian migrants held Chilean refugee status, according to abandoned ID cards found at the United States-Mexico border near where more than 15,000 migrants camped under the Del Rio bridge in Texas.

As reported previously by The Post Millennial, the mass congregation of Haitian migrants previously lived and worked in Latin American countries as refugees, mainly Chile and Brazil. The migrants generally had access to housing and gainful employment, but decided to move to the United States for opportunity there. According to immigration experts, the Haitian migrants believed President Joe Biden “opened the border so we decided we could upgrade our lifestyle.”

According to the Daily Caller, the Haitians migrants arrived in South American countriies during the past decade or so, following natural disasters such as earthquakes or government unrest. In nations such as Brazil or Chile, the Haitian migrants “were granted refugee and residence status in large numbers.”

Under immigration law, individuals are not eligible for refugee status in the US if they’re “firmly resettled in a third country,” according to what Citizenship and Immigration Services states in its code.

Boris Johnson’s government plans visas for 5,000 foreign drivers to meet demand, despite coronavirus lockdowns having put many British people out of work — with a senior Tory MP suggesting Afghans be used.

Driver shortages have led to shortages at petrol stations and a round of panic-buying, but rather than pressing employers to increase pay and establish training programmes for unemployed Britons — whose ranks have been significantly swelled by anti-coronavirus lockdown policies — Britain’s governing Conservative Party is, as ever, looking to bring in more foreign workers.

Parents in Wigan, England, have been left fearful as male migrants hosted in a local hotel are accused of roaming the community harassing underage girls and filming them through schoolyard fences.

Migrants put up in the Britannia Hotel by Serco, one of a small number of scandal—ridden private corporations who earn big money accommodating and monitoring illegal migrants for the government, arguably not very well, are hanging around outside the entrances to schools, leering at and recording schoolgirls during PE (Physical Education) workouts through schoolyard fences, and harassing young girls at a local landmark called The Line, according to Wigan Today.

Swiss Hold Referendum on Gay Marriage, Lesbian Access to Sperm Donations

Switzerland has authorized same-sex civil partnerships since 2007. The Swiss government, which has endorsed the “Marriage for All” referendum, says passage would put same-sex partners on equal legal footing with heterosexual couples by allowing them to adopt children together and to sponsor a spouse for citizenship.

  1. “A judge in Massachusetts denied a lawsuit by a police union that asked him to stay the governor’s vaccination mandate. Shortly after his decision dozens of state troopers filed their paperwork to resign from the force.”

To be honest is resigning better than being kicked off for not adhering to some particular law or rule that “We” openly disagree with?

“As long as I am king, they shall not pass!” – kind of souvereignity is what I see missing from the picture: Everyone is walking around rules and regulations on eggshells as if every government mandate was the word of God – which is a system that I am well used to from Central Europe, but I would always expect Americans to step up over and above mere “mortal human laws” and uphold the higher principle of morality.
