A group of carjackers picked the absolute wrong person to try to steal a car from. The armed hold-up backfired completely when an off-duty correctional officer thwarted a carjacking by returning gunfire.
The carjacking gone awry happened around 2:30 a.m. on Sunday in South Chicago. The off-duty correctional officer was driving down an alley in the 7900 block of South Phillips Avenue when at least three males approached the vehicle with the intent of stealing the car, according to the Chicago Sun-Times.
One of the men pulled out a gun and demanded the driver get out of his car. When the officer didn’t get out of the vehicle, several shots were fired his direction, but the driver was not struck.

Couple Kicked Off Manhattan MTA Bus Beats Up Driver
A couple kicked off an East Village MTA bus for threatening a passenger forced their way back onboard to pummel the driver, police said Sunday.
Cops released surveillance video of the suspects Sunday and asked the public’s help identifying them and tracking them down. The woman was pushing an enormous suitcase on wheels, the video shows.

Court Records: Deceased Kenosha Rioter Rosenbaum Was a Child Rapist
Court records reveal that Joseph Don Rosenbaum (shown), the convicted sex offender whom Kyle Rittenhouse shot to death on August 25 in Kenosha, Wisconsin, was a pervert who molested five small kids, two of whom were brothers.
Initial reports about Rosenbaum, 36, based on his sex-offender registration in Wisconsin, said only that he had “sex with a minor.”
But yesterday, a fuller portrait of the deceased sociopath emerged. He was a child rapist who committed unspeakable crimes.
Big League Politics posted a grand jury´s 11-count felony indictment in 2002 against Rosenbaum.

Frontline Nurse Speaks Out About Lethal Protocols

San Francisco gyms have been forced by the liberal city to remain closed for months as part of measures implemented to reduce the spread of coronavirus. But city leaders have applied different rules for fitness facilities used by city employees.

Video footage shows a vehicle accelerating through a mob of Black Lives Matter protesters who had assembled in Times Square, New York City to block roads and scream “No justice, no peace!” at passersby.

France Horse Mutilations: Police Hunt Two Suspects in Losne
Police in France have launched a manhunt for two suspects after the latest in a spate of horse mutilations.
Forty officers have flown by helicopter to the town of Losne, near Dijon, after a horse was attacked on Sunday morning.
Dozens of horses have been killed or maimed around the country this year, prompting public outcry.

New research has discovered that coronavirus tests may be finding dead traces from weeks-old infections, resulting in false positives that inflate the scale of the pandemic.
The study was carried out by experts from the University of Oxford´s Centre for Evidence-Based Medicine and the University of the West of England. It found there was a risk of “false positives” because of how Covid-19 testing is being conducted.
The scientists discovered that, despite people with Covid-19 being infectious for only around a week, one test used to detect the disease can still give a positive reading weeks after the patient has recovered.

UK: Major Incident’ in Multicultural Birmingham, Multiple Stabbings, Witnesses Claim ‘Many Gunshots’
West Midlands Police had declared a “major incident” in Birmingham, England’s multicultural second city, confirming multiple stabbings.
“We can confirm that at approximately 12:30 a.m. today we were called to reports of a stabbing in Birmingham city centre,” the force confirmed on Sunday morning, after a night of alarming claims on social media.
“We immediately attended, along with colleagues from the ambulance service. A number of other stabbings were reported in the area shortly after,” the force said.

The Murder of an American “Blasphemer” In Pakistan
A recent murder has cast a “fresh spotlight on Pakistan’s blasphemy laws.” On July 29, 2020, Tahir Naseem, 57, a U.S. citizen, was shot dead in a Pakistani courtroom during a bail hearing for a charge of blasphemy, which included “denigrating the Koran and the Prophet Muhammad,” Reuters reported. Pew: Half of Self-Identified Christians in U.S. Say Sex Outside of Marriage is OK
A new survey by Pew Research Center found over half of its respondents who identify as “Christian” say sex outside of marriage is either “always” or “sometimes” or acceptable.
Only 32% of the Christian respondents said it is “never” okay for “unmarried adults in a committed relationship” to have sex. And only 33% of the Christians in the survey said casual sex is “never” okay.

World Rugby Criticized by Dozens of Academics for Trans Woman Ban
World Rugby’s proposals to ban trans women from playing women’s rugby have been criticised by dozens of academics, who have written to the sport’s governing body to insist there is “no evidence” that trans women pose a safety risk to others playing the sport.
The letter, which has been co-signed by 84 leading academics from a range of fields including sport, public health and sociology, also questions the science behind the proposed ban and warns it will discriminate against vulnerable people.
