“She Hasn’t Done Her Job”: Looting, Riots, & Mayoral Ineptitude Prompt Mass Exodus of Chicago Residents

While mayor Lori Lightfoot continues to try and assure the public that she has everything under control, the exodus from Chicago as a result of the looting and riots is continuing. Citizens of Chicago are literally starting to pour out of the city, citing safety and the Mayor’s ineptitude as their key reasons for leaving.

Hilariously, in liberal politicians’ attempt to show the world they don’t need Federal assistance and that they don’t need to rely on President Trump’s help, they are inadvertently likely creating more Trump voters, as residents who seek law and order may find no other choice than to vote Republican come November.

And even though residents understand the looting and riots in some cases, they are not waiting around for it to get better on its own, nor are they waiting around for it to make its way to their house, their families or their neighborhoods.

New Jersey Town Bills Teenage BLM Protest Organizer $2,500 for Police Overtime

In what appears a case of epic trolling by a local New Jersey police department (or more seriously a severe violation of 1st Amendment rights), a teen organizer behind a Black Lives Matters rally was billed by local police for $2,500 for their overtime pay.

In the town of Englewood Cliffs, which sits across the river from Upper Manhattan, an eighteen-year old girl and recent high school graduate named Emily Gil organized a protest on July 25. UK: 4,500 Extra Police to Fight Climate Protests, Raves Across London

More than 4,500 extra officers will be deployed on London’s streets over the bank holiday weekend to police a fresh wave of environmental protests and dozens of illegal raves to replace Notting Hill Carnival.

Meanwhile, Met chiefs have urged people to stay away from the traditional carnival route and watch this year’s festivities online. Officers have intelligence that up to 80 unlicensed music events are being planned across the city.

According to a Bloomberg report, the technology used to block much of the internet access during the recent presidential elections in Belarus has come from a US-based company.

On August 9, Belarus held the presidential elections where Alexander Lukashenko was elected for the sixth consecutive time. However, the Election Day was marked by irregularities that cast doubt on the transparency of the elections.

In addition to the barricades built by security forces that prevented the passage of civilians to Minsk, Belarus’ capital, the internet services in the country had a major disruption that affected access to websites such as social networks, news pages, and messaging applications.

How One Islamist Migrant Has Cost German Taxpayers Over €5 Million and Counting

The German state has spent over €5 million guarding just one Syrian migrant in the small German village of Bitterfeld, with the man believed to be such a serious terrorist threat that he has required a 24/7 police presence for the last three years.

His presence in the village, located in the German state of Saxony-Anhalt, has left inhabitants presented with a bizarre sight almost every day. When the 19-year-old Syrian Ayman N. wants to go shopping in town, four plainclothes police officers must follow him with two vehicles a few meters apart.

He is not allowed to leave his accommodation any further than the supermarket and all his movements are tracked with an electronic ankle cuff on his leg.

According to data obtained by German news outlet Magdeburg Volksstimme, 95,000 man-hours have been accumulated by officers guarding the Syrian man. At an hourly rate of €52 per civil servant, that amounts €5,000 every day and over €5 million in total. The staggering figure does not even include vehicle costs or other material resources, as this data is not yet included in the overall tally.

Migrant Rescue: UN Urges Help for Banksy Ship and Two Others in Mediterranean

The UN Refugee Agency says more than 400 refugees and migrants on board three rescue ships in the Mediterranean must be allowed to disembark safely.

A joint statement issued with the International Organization for Migration said it was a “humanitarian imperative to save lives”.

Italy’s coastguard has now evacuated 49 people from an overloaded rescue vessel funded by British artist Banksy.

Overnight its crew had tweeted a call for immediate assistance.

European authorities had not responded adequately, they said.

The UNHCR and the IOM said the lack of a deal on a regional landing system could not be an excuse to deny vulnerable people safe harbour.

Sweden: Two Migrant Background Men Torture and Rape Two Boys in a Cemetery for Nearly 10 Hours

Police say two underage Swedish boys were exposed to almost 10 hours of beatings, torture, and humiliation when they were attacked and dragged to a cemetery by a pair of men with an immigrant background near Stockholm on Saturday night.

A 21-year-old Iranian immigrant and an 18-year-old man born in Sweden to a Tunisian father stripped the victims and raped them, according to police. Throughout the ordeal, they reportedly kept beating them inside Norra Cemetery until Sunday morning when the boys, aged 15 and 17, managed to alert a passer-by who called the police.

Among other things, the perpetrators stabbed the victims in legs to prevent them from escaping, Swedish prosecutor Anders Tordai told SVT Nyheter.

Fediverse Apps Promise a Future Free of Censorship and Big Tech, But Google is Threatening Them

Google has put several open-service Fediverse apps on notice and threatened to remove them from the Play Store within seven days unless they prevent their users from connecting to user-generated content that violates their policies.

Google’s “User Generated Content (UGC) policy” bans apps that allow users to access posts that “promote violence, or incite hatred against individuals or groups based on race or ethnic origin, religion, disability, age, nationality, veteran status, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, or any other characteristic that is associated with systemic discrimination or marginalization.”

So far, the Fediverse apps Subway Tooter, Fedilab, and Husky have reportedly been sent these notices. Tens of thousands of users have collectively downloaded these apps via the Play Store.

“Hatred” is a subjective term and many existing Big Tech “hate speech” rules result in the censorship of jokes, opposition, criticism, and more.

In Facebook’s Virtual World, Horizon, Your Actions Are Recorded in Case You Break the Rules

A rare Big Tech failure story over the past almost a decade has been the numerous attempts by various giants to make virtual and/or augmented reality (VR/AR) devices happen.

Considering the nature of the technology in question, and those who are unfortunately in a position to try to implement it (Google, Microsoft, Facebook…) it might actually be good news for the average consumer that they keep failing.

But since we currently live in a tech dystopia, it’s no wonder critics, and critical thinkers, are taking note of any new outings of the sort, like Facebook’s latest VR project, Horizon (coming hot on the heels of its failed Spaces project).

There is for sure the skin-deep appeal geared towards gamers — but on the dark side of the deal, their privacy is potentially invaded and abused in a whole new way.

  1. CANADA:
British Columbia with a population of 5.1 million (half in the Greater Vancouver area, and Vancouver Island where Victoria is ) currently has 974 active cases of the C-Virus. It’s up from 629 two weeks ago. Vancouver is requiring mask wearing while travelling on the Sky-Train.
Quebec (8.5 million) has 1,242 cases and Ontario (14.7 million) has 1,148.
Alberta (4.4 million) is worse than B.C. with 1,185 active cases. Most of those are in the city of Calgary.
Manitoba (1.4 million) has seen their cases spike in the last week and the current number is 444.
Saskatchewan (1.2 million) never made mask wearing mandatory. Barbers/Hair Stylists required them but not many stores. The government is saying that school children (grade 5 and up) will be required to wear masks on school buses but not recommending them in the classroom. They are going to leave it up to the individual school districts to decide what is best for their areas when school resumes on Sept. 8. The current active cases in the entire province is at 43.
The four combined Atlantic provinces with a combined population of 2.4 million have only 15 cases now.

  2. It seems that government’s have no concern about the behaviour and
cost of maintenance of migrants. Neither do they concern themselves about the safety of the native populations’ children..

    • Those that make up the government bureaucracies that caused this to come about and those elites in media, academia, banking, business, and social media who cheerlead the imposition will one day find out that the citizens they forced third world orcs upon also have little regard for the lives of them and their families. Hopefully [justice will prevail].

    • There is no real government in the New Blue ach aye the who and begommah and begorrah we’ll see y’all tomorah world of man made mess Bumbo and Fatso represent. Politics pushers are keeping an eye on the getaway stash. Imagine. We know that the likelihood of conflict increases during or after a pandemic. Britain is getting rid of all its tanks and local recruiting is being substituted with overseas soldiers of fortune and adventurers. The insanity of it all is hysterical.

  3. Pipo the clown makes me laugh. Honk, honk! Thank you. Laughter is food for the soul in interesting times.
I might open evil browser to see the comrade kommissarina Merkel agitprop.
Is she in her East German gear that looks like a WWII Luftwaffe uniform?
A hammer and sickle should be on there somewhere.
I’ll just have to use the evil browser and find out.
Clown World is predestined for failure so the ordo ab chao can come to pass.
Inbred elites have way overestimated their IQ and will go down with the ship while we laugh in their faces and blow clown horns very loudly in their ears.
