Foreclosures Continued to Fall in May as Mortgage Delinquency Rate Spiked
As was expected due to the COVID-19 crisis, the U.S. mortgage delinquency rate jumped 20% in May compared with April and was up 131% compared with May 2019, according to Black Knight’s First Look report.
As of the end of the month about 7.76% of all mortgages were 30 days or more past due.
That’s about 4.1 million mortgages — an increase of about 723,000 compared with April and an increase of about 2.4 million compared with May 2019.

Hungarian Economy May See Strong Rebound This Year, Central Bank Head Says
Boosted by an extensive investment drive of the government, the Hungarian economy will likely experience a strong rebound from the coronavirus crisis in the third quarter of 2020, Central Bank governor György Matolcsy told weekly Mandiner in an interview.
“In the first quarter of the year, with a 2.2 percent economic growth compared with the same period of the previous year kept [Hungary] among the leading pack in Europe, having had exceeded the eurozone average by five percentage points,” Matolcsy said. “We still think that the economy will experience a strong rebound beginning with the third quarter of the year. U.S. President Donald Trump recently announced that the American government would designate Antifa — a militant “anti-fascist” movement — as a terrorist organization due to the violence that erupted at George Floyd protests across the United States.
The Code of Federal Regulations (28 C.F.R. Section 0.85) defines terrorism as “the unlawful use of force and violence against persons or property to intimidate or coerce a government, the civilian population, or any segment thereof, in furtherance of political or social objectives.”
American media outlets sympathetic to Antifa have jumped to its defense. They argue that the group cannot be classified as a terrorist organization because, they claim, it is a vaguely-defined protest movement that lacks a centralized structure.

Federal Judge Blasts Whitmer’s Lockdown Defense

Square’s digital payment platform is accused of withholding a significant chunk of money from some of the businesses that use its services. Square says it’s to protect customers. Businesses, however, disagree with this retention policy of up to 30% for four months — especially at a time when many small businesses are at risk from going under.

NASCAR on Sunday released a statement revealing that a noose was reportedly found in top driver Bubba Wallace’s Talladega garage stall.
As The Gateway Pundit suspected, there was no noose.
“The FBI learned that garage 4, where the noose was found, was assigned to Bubba Wallace last week. The investigation also revealed evidence, including authentic video confirmed by NASCAR, that the noose found in garage number 4 was in that garage as early as October 2019,” the FBI said in a statement.
In other words, the garage door pull rope wasn’t imagined as a noose until a racist narrative needed to be pushed out to the public.

Burnley Football Club has condemned an “offensive” banner saying “White Lives Matter Burnley!” which was flown over a match just days after three white people were stabbed to death in Reading, and vowed to “work fully with the authorities to identify those responsible”.

New Fort Trump Details Revealed Ahead of Polish President’s Visit to the White House
On June 24, in Washington D.C., presidents Donald Trump and Andrzej Duda will confirm the conditions on which a United States military presence in Poland will be increased, with reports indicating that 2,000 U.S. troops instead of the previously announced 1,000 will be brought to Poland.
Additionally, the command of the V Corps of the U.S. Army from Kentucky alongside 30 American F-16s from Germany will be moved to Poland.
The two countries will also sign a Defense Cooperation Act and Poland will receive an additional five used C-130 Hercules transport aircraft, which are still newer than the current machines used by the Polish military.
The purchase of an attack helicopter will also most likely be announced at the upcoming meeting between Trump and Duda, which will either be the Boeing AH-64 or the Bell AH-1Z Viper.

In another horrifying incident against minorities in Pakistan, a minor Hindu girl was abducted, converted and married off to her abductor in Sindh’s Jacobabad in Pakistan.

Many years ago I enjoyed corresponding with bloke named ‘Guy Levens-Torres’ – it was before the Internet as we know it. We lost contact – he appeared to be disillusioned with the world and went into a ‘hole’ to study. He was interested in archeology and in himself I found an interesting person. For some reason this morning I decided to Google his name to see if he was still alive – AND blessings, I think I have found him! I like and enjoy your musings Sir.
