Confidential EU Report: Coronavirus Has Left Europe’s Economy at Only 66 Percent of Capacity

A harrowing confidential report about the economy of the Eurozone shows that it is only wobbling along at 66 percent of its capacity. The report obtained by Hungarian news portal Index indicates that the economic consequences of the coronavirus pandemic are even worse than expected.

With curfews, travel restrictions and a blanket ban on all public events, the entertainment industry, which includes cultural and sporting events, has come to a de facto standstill, with its output exactly zero.

Italy: Conte Reiterates Call for EU ‘Coronabonds’

European Recovery and Investment Plan says Italy PM

(ANSA) — Rome, April 2 — Premier Giuseppe Conte on Thursday reiterated Italy’s call for euro bonds for the coronavirus crisis, or ‘coronabonds’.

“It is clear that euro bonds would be an effective response,” he told Spanish TV channel La Sexta.

“I have thought about a broad plan expressing a fiscal policy able to reinforce all the European states so that they can react to he financial emergency,” he said, reiterating his call for a European Recovery and Reinvestment Plan.

Conte called for a “shared, strong and rapid” European response to the coronavirus emergency.

“I believe that everyone in time will realise that a shared, strong and rapid European response is the only solution” to the emergency, he said.

“I’d like to underscore the importance of the rapidity of response: a slow response would be useless,” he said.

Overkill: The Purposeful Destruction of America’s Economy

Economists are telling us there will be unemployment as high as 32 percent…that’s 47 million unemployed Americans, far worse than the worst year of the Great Depression. Here’s what Anthony Fauci said on January 21, on Newsmax. “Obviously you need to take it seriously and do the kinds of things the CDC and DHS are doing, but this is not a major threat to the people of the United States and this is not something the citizens of the United States should be worried about.”

Two days later China quarantined a city of 11 million people. Then on February 17th when the virus was appearing all over the world, Fauci told us we could go to the Superbowl, but we shouldn’t travel to Wuhan, China. Florida Governor DeSantis now believes the Superbowl was a breeding ground for the spread of Covid-19.

When talking to Anderson Cooper on April 3rd, Fauci was then promoting a national “stay at home” edict and the entire country lock down. He says every state should do it, that we should remain under quarantine and we need a national federally mandated shutdown until no more viruses appear and there are no more deaths. VA Governor Northam has shuttered his state until June 10th. Andrew Cuomo has privately discussed shutting down the state of New York until fall. Epidemiologists want the nation on a year of cycled shutdowns. Talk about the economic destruction and loss of trillions of dollars to American business…

The predictions by the experts’ “models” were overkill. None of them were even close to needing the amount of beds forecast. These models have caused this massive shutdown and have driven massive disruptive policy. Fear was the main factor pushed by the so-called “experts” and media. Those experts are intrinsically tied to globalists, China and the United Nations.

Over 10 million Americans have lost their jobs…can you imagine another year of this? That would be national suicide and we’d definitely see more people taking their own lives. This is what Fauci is suggesting and he’s not an economist or one who fears being unemployed himself. He believes the shutdown is just an inconvenience…but it’s more than that…the country has lost trillions in sales and merchandise…and so many businesses will never be revived. Anthony Fauci has impoverished this nation.

The Real Lethality of Covid-19

America took drastic mitigation because the “experts” told us millions and millions would die. But other experts think we went too far and the projected “models” are off by many multiples. Stanford’s Jayanta Bhattacharya expressed doubt in his article, Is the Coronavirus as Deadly as They Say?…

A few days ago the news surfaced that only 12% of the cases reported in Italy are sound, because Italy is including in these numbers not only those who died from the Coronavirus, but also those who died from other causes but were contaminated with the virus. This information completely changes the objectivity of the data, since the primary cause of death of an elderly person who contracted Covid-19 can be pneumonia or the flu; in this case Covid-19 would not be the cause of his death. So, if we project this percentage of 12% to the global number of deaths, the reported number of 18,919 becomes 2,270. This fraudulent inflation of the victims reveals a clear intention to scare the population.

40,000 Landed in U.S. From China After Trump’s Travel Ban

New data reveals that nearly 40,000 people have landed in the United States from China after President Trump imposed the coronavirus travel ban.

“The travel data finds that since Trump’s travel ban, close to 40,000 people landed in the U.S. from China,” reports Breitbart. “Since New Year’s Eve, about 430,000 people landed in the U.S. on direct flights from China — thousands of which traveled directly from Wuhan, China, while mostly arriving in California, New York, Illinois, Washington, Michigan, and New Jersey.”

These states have since all become epicenters of the coronavirus outbreak in the United States.

Coronavirus: Is it Time to Release Americans From Bondage?

Millions of words have now been written about CORVID-19 and likely millions more in the future. The disgraceful, lying “mainstream” media and too many in the alternative media have been hyping death and disaster since mid-January. The herds reacted exactly as the shadow government knew they would with panic buying and hysteria.

Let me remind the imbiciles out there who continue to attack Trump hourly since January — that would be dunces in the MSM, the Hollywood crowd and human trash like Mad Max Waters, Chuckie Schumer, Pelsoi (FLASHBACK: Nancy Pelosi Zones Out During State Of Union While President Trump Addresses Coronavirus) and other career politicians — their golden boy, Hussein Obama was given a free pass while Americans died:

In an internal communication obtained by Campus Reform, students at the University of Notre Dame were advised not to publicly share “recordings of live classes” with anyone outside the school, and threatened “severe sanctions” for anyone who might do so.

“All Notre Dame students should keep the following general principles in mind,” the email to students read, adding that classrooms, “whether physical or virtual or physical,” is meant to a “safe and secure environment for learning.” Students were instructed to “pay careful attention to your instructors’ rules and guidance regarding the sharing of class learning materials, permitted forms of collaboration, and other behaviors related to remote learning and teaching.”

“Do not share learning materials, recordings of live classes, or any other depictions of in-class conduct by your classmates or your instructor with external groups or via social media or other public platforms for any reason; and sharing private communications, information, depictions, or learning materials for the purpose of inviting external commentary, ridicule, or embarrassment is an especially egregious violation of trust and University policy that may lead to severe sanctions,” the message to students continued.

FISA Reauthorizations in Doubt After Findings That FBI Surveillance Was Riddled With Major Errors

New findings by the Justice Department inspector general that the FBI has repeatedly violated surveillance rules could impact Congress’ pending reauthorization of key powers related to the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court (FISC), with top Republican lawmakers already saying the DOJ report will have major consequences for surveillance law.

Several surveillance provisions under the 2015 USA Freedom Act have lapsed in recent weeks, at least temporarily, because the House has not yet passed the Senate’s 77-day temporary extension. The House had amended portions of the law in its own proposed three-year reauthorization, but the Senate couldn’t reach an agreement on the matter and decided to try to punt the matter so that lawmakers could focus on the coronavirus pandemic.

Sheriff Rebels Against Governor: ‘We Will Not be Setting Up a Police State’

The coronavirus cannot kill the spirit of American defiance in the face of government orders Americans believe to be unjust, as shown by Scott Nichols, the sheriff of Franklin County, Maine.

Democratic Gov. Janet Mills on Friday issued an executive order that requires all out-of-state travelers to self-quarantine for 14 days to lessen the chance of transmitting coronavirus, according to the Portland Press-Herald. The order also tells would-be visitors not to come to Maine if they have symptoms of the virus. Violators could face up to six months in jail and $1,000 fine.

“While I cannot simply close the state’s border or pull up the Maine-New Hampshire bridge, as a few people have suggested, I will insist that persons entering our state or returning to Maine from somewhere else that they self-quarantine for 14 days,” Mills said, according to the Press-Herald.

“For those people who come to Maine, however, my message is clear: You cannot escape the virus by coming here.”

Like other governors who closed businesses, Mills shut down hotels, motels and other lodging operations in the state, including RV parks and campgrounds.

Steve McCausland, spokesman for the Maine Department of Public Safety, said police will investigate reports of “blatant” violations.

To Nichols, a Republican, the travel ban smacked of the kind of government Americans fight against and not obey, and he posted his manifesto on the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office’s Facebook page.

“We will not be setting up a Police State. PERIOD,” he wrote.

“The Sheriff’s Office will not purposefully go out and stop vehicles because they are on the road or stop and ask why people are out and about. To do so puts our officers at risk. This is not Nazi Germany or Soviet Russia where you are asked for your papers!” he wrote.

Coronavirus: Virological Findings From Patients Treated in a Munich Hospital

[…]

According to the researchers’ observations, all COVID-19 patients showed a high rate of viral replication and shedding in the throat during the first week of symptoms. Sputum samples also showed high levels of viral RNA (genetic information). Infectious viral particles were isolated from both pharyngeal (throat) swabs and sputum samples. “This means that the novel coronavirus does not have to travel to the lungs to replicate. It can replicate while still in the throat, which means it is very easy to transmit,” explains Prof. Drosten, who is also affiliated with the DZIF, and is a professor at the Berlin Institute of Health (BIH). Due to genetic similarities between the new virus and the original SARS virus, the researchers initially assumed that, just like the SARS virus, the novel coronavirus would predominantly target the lungs — thus making human-to-human transmission more difficult. “However, our research involving the Munich cluster showed that the new SARS coronavirus differs quite considerably in terms of its preferential target tissue,” says the virologist, and adds: “Naturally, this has enormous consequences for both viral transmission and spread, which is why we decided to publish our initial findings in early February.”

In most cases, viral load decreased significantly during the first week of symptoms. While viral shedding in the lungs also decreased, this decline happened later than in the throat. The researchers were no longer able to obtain infectious virus particles from day 8 after the initial onset of symptoms. However, levels of viral RNA remained high in both the throat and lungs. The researchers found that samples with fewer than 100,000 copies of viral RNA no longer contained any infectious viral particles. This allowed the researchers to draw two conclusions: “A high viral load in the throat at the very onset of symptoms suggests that individuals with COVID-19 are infectious very early on, potentially before they are even aware of being ill,” explains Colonel PD Dr. Roman Wölfel, Director of the Bundeswehr Institute of Microbiology and one of the study’s first authors. “At the same time, the infectiousness of COVID-19 patients appears to be linked to viral load in the throat and lungs. In hospitals with limited bed capacity and the resultant pressure to expedite patient discharge, this is an important factor when it comes to deciding the earliest point at which a patient can be safely discharged.” Based on these data, the study’s authors suggest that COVID-19 patients with less than 100,000 viral RNA copies in their sputum sample on day 10 of symptoms could be discharged into home-based isolation.

The researchers’ work also suggests that SARS-CoV-2 replicates in the gastrointestinal tract. However, the researchers were unable to isolate any infectious virus from patients’ stool samples. None of the blood and urine samples tested positive for the virus. Serum samples were also tested for antibodies against SARS-CoV-2. Half of the patients tested had developed antibodies by day 7 following symptom onset; antibodies were detected in all patients after two weeks. The onset of antibody production coincided with a gradual decrease in viral load.

France’s Coronavirus Death Rate Accelerates, Cases Near 100,000

PARIS (Reuters) — France’s coronavirus figures on Monday showed that the rate of increase in fatalities — now at almost 9,000 — sped up again after several days of slowing, while the increase in people needing intensive care continued to decelerate.

The total number of cases, combining hospital and nursing home statistics, increased by 5,171 over the last 24 hours to 98,010, meaning France will likely become the fifth country, after Italy, Spain, the United States and Germany, to cross the 100,000 threshold on Tuesday.

Italy: We’ve Only Had ‘Crumbs’ From Rome -Lombardy Governor Fontana

If we hadn’t acted ‘we would have closed hospitals in 2 days’

(ANSA) — Milan, April 2 — The northern region of Lombardy, by far the worst hit by the coronavirus, has only received “crumbs” from the central government in Rome for the last month and a half, Governor Attilio Fontana said Thursday.

“Almost a month and a half have passed since the start of the epidemic and substantially, we have only been receiving crumbs from Rome,” he told Radio Padania, the broadcaster of his nationalist League party.

“If we hadn’t rolled our sleeves up ourselves, we would have closed the hospitals within two days. “The number of masks that were arriving from the civil protection wouldn’t have enabled us to open the hospitals. This is a disgrace, we only got a small part of what we had requested.”

UK: Boris Johnson Was in Charge at 5pm… and in Intensive Care by 7: How PM’s Breathing Deteriorated in Just Hours — a Day After Being Admitted to Hospital Following Video Call That Left His Cabinet Members Shocked at His Ailing Appearance

Boris Johnson was last night moved to intensive care after his coronavirus condition worsened, forcing him to temporarily delegate his responsibilities while he is treated by doctors.

The Prime Minister was transferred to the ICU at St Thomas’ Hospital in London at 7pm yesterday — 11 days after testing positive for the deadly disease.

Only two hours earlier, Downing Street were insisting he was still spearheading the government’s coronavirus response, despite de facto deputy Dominic Raab chairing the morning crisis meeting.

Yet shortly after the Foreign Secretary left the Number 10 podium following the daily 5pm press briefing, Mr Johnson suffered breathing problems and was given oxygen.

Medics moved him into the critical care unit, and although he was last night not in need of a ventilator, the PM asked Mr Raab, the first secretary of state, to start deputising for him.

Coronavirus: Tunisian Parliament Gives Govt Special Powers

To handle emergency, president goes to Carthage

(ANSAmed) — TUNIS, APRIL 6 — The Tunisian parliament has voted in favour of applying Art. 70 of the constitution, which provides for the government to rule by decree for up to two months. The implementation of Art. 70 will help the government to speed up its actions to counter COVID-19 spread, especially as its peak in the country is expected to come next week or within the next ten days. In a parliamentary chamber half-empty since many of the MPs were working online, Prime Minister Elyes Fakhfakh said that he understood the concerns expressed by some MPs about risks to democracy, noting that the parliament continues to be able to monitor the government’s actions and to withdraw the government’s right top rule by decree if it were to be abused. Tunisian president Kais Said has meanwhile decide to move to the Carthage palace due to the COVID-19 emergency, according to an official statement.

The pandemic, it noted, requires his constant presence in the palace. Tunisia has 574 recorded cases of COVID-19 an 22 people testing positive for it have died.

#coronavirus #covid-19 Chinese Virus: The Exit Strategy

by Christopher Monckton of Brenchley

[…]

From today, the results of the benchmark test will be published daily in the form of a simple graph that allows visual comparison of the various territories’ performances over time. The benchmark graph shows that the various policies adopted by nearly all governments to inhibit transmission of the infection appear to be beginning to work. Spain, Italy and Norway (the last of these added to this analysis today at the request of a Norwegian commenter justifiably proud of the effectiveness of his nation’s response to the emergency) are doing particularly well in bringing the case growth rate down. South Korea remains far and away the most efficient country at controlling the pandemic. …

What, then, should governments’ exit strategy be? The woeful lack of preparedness on the part of most nations is exemplified not only by the useless World Death Organization, whose dismal director is a fawning, soon-to-be-sacked lickspittle lackey of the Chinese Communist regime, which actively and openly campaigned for his nomination to the post, but also by the pandemic preparedness team who were rightly dismissed by Mr Trump two years ago, for they had plainly failed to make the necessary preparations that South Korea, for instance, had had the prudence and foresight to make. What was needed above all, and what is still absent in most countries, is the capacity to test the entire population if necessary.

Three forms of testing are necessary, the first two of them at whole-population scale. The first is an antigen test, which looks for the presence of the pathogen. That test shows whether the subject is currently infected. The second, no less important, is an antibody test, which shows whether the subject, having previously been infected, is now resistant to the pathogen.

The third test, which, like the antibody test, is serological, preferably using the polymerase chain reaction method, is capable of detecting not only whole virions in the blood but also, where a successful method of either boosting the immune system so that it destroys the offending particles or of destroying them chaotropically has been found, the fragments of the destroyed pathogens. This form of serological testing does not need to be done at population scale, though where it is available it yields more precise results than the quick and easy swab tests now being performed. But it is a vital research tool.

The greatest failure of public-health policy on the part of the various quangos expensively maintained to protect us from pandemics lies in the failure of Public Health England, the late U.S. pandemic response team, the World Death Organization et hoc genus omne to ensure that sufficient supplies of reagents, swabs, testing kits, analysis machines and personal protective equipment were available to test the entire population.

Beijing Peddles Billion-Dollar ‘Traditional Chinese Medicine’ Industry in Australia

The People’s Daily, the official newspaper of the Chinese Communist Party, boasted on Monday of an “academic symposium” held this weekend to promote Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) in Australia.

Chinese state media has regularly advertised TCM, which generates billions of dollars a year for the regime, as the answer to fighting the Chinese coronavirus. The core of TCM is the belief in qi, the sum of the various energies flowing through a person. Two opposing forces, yin and yang, must be balanced for a person to be healthy. TCM practitioners diagnose diseases as imbalances in qi and use practices like acupuncture, herbal teas, and exercises known as tai chi to restore balance.

Animal rights activists condemn TCM practice for creating lucrative and abusive wild animal trades, as some TCM practitioners claim rare ingredients like pangolins, rhinoceros horn, and tiger and bear organs can help restore qi balances. Some scientific studies have suggested that consumption of pangolin, a species of anteater native to Asia, may have led to the current pandemic.

April 2, 2020 (LifeSiteNews) – In a surprise move, Pope Francis has dropped the historic and essential title “Vicar of Christ” from the 2020 Pontifical Yearbook, the Holy See’s annual directory, relegating the title to a footnote, calling it a “historical title.”

While previous yearbooks listed the title “Vicar of Christ” and the name of the reigning Pope under that title, this year’s annual directory simply lists the name “Jorge Mario Bergoglio,” the name of the man who became Pope Francis in 2013. A photo of this year’s yearbook was published by Rome-based journalist Marco Tosatti.
