Alberta Unemployment Rate for Young Men Hits 20%

Alberta’s unemployment rate, especially for young men has rapidly shot up since April.

According to Statistics Canada, over the last few months, the province has seen the rate of unemployment for young men shoot up from one in ten to one in five. Meaning that roughly 20% of Alberta young men have become jobless, outside of a recession. The gender split between men and women for job loss has largely been due to the drop in the oil and gas sector, an area commonly dominated by men.

Paul Volcker, Central Banker Who Defeated Inflation, Dead at 92

Paul A. Volcker, who helped shape American economic policy for more than six decades, and who will forever be etched in the history books for leading the Federal Reserve’s brute-force campaign to subdue inflation in the late 1970s and early ‘80s, has died on Sunday in New York, the NYT reported. He was 92.

Volcker, a literally towering, he was known as “Tall Paul” at 6 foot 7 inches, “taciturn and somewhat rumpled figure”, arrived in Washington as America’s postwar economic hegemony was beginning to crumble. He would devote his professional life to wrestling with the consequences, the NYT writes in its obit of the last US central banker to do the right thing.

Busted! Climate Activists Caught Using Forged Docs, Fake News

In Colorado, climate activists tried to trick reporters into releasing false information on two separate occasions.

A couple of days ago, Colorado Public Radio reporter Michael Elizabeth Sakas got an eyebrow-raising press release from the Sunrise Movement, a youth climate-activism group that rose to prominence with sit-ins in politicians’ offices.

Supposedly, Denver Mayor Michael Hancock was going to apologize for the fact that an oil company was one of the sponsors of a sustainability conference he hosted this week.

When Sakas asked for more information, Sunrise shared a statement on what appeared to be the City of Denver letterhead that seemed to back up the claim.

But it was a fake: The Sunrise Movement had written the letter and lied to journalists.

Duct-Taped Banana ‘Art’ Vandalized With ‘Epstein Didn’t Kill Himself’ Sign

The infamous art installation which featured a banana duct-taped to a wall has been vandalized with the words ‘Epstein Didn’t Kill Himself.’

As we previously highlighted, the fruit-based exhibit sold for $120,000 at an art fair in Miami, Florida.

It was subsequently eaten by another man who claimed he devoured the banana as a piece of “performance art.”

Now the entire farce took another surreal turn when another individual used lipstick to scrawl the words “Epstien didn’t kill himself” over the canvass where the banana had once been (Epstein’s named was spelled incorrectly).

Pensacola Shooting: Mollycoddling the Face of Evil

As should be expected, the government is attempting to stage-manage the shooting at the Pensacola Naval Base. The Pentagon said sailors killed by a Saudi student reportedly angry over the serial murder of Muslims by the US government “showed exceptional heroism and bravery in the face of evil.”

The alleged shooter, Mohammed Alshamrani, shot dead by police, was a Saudi national said to be enrolled in pilot training the Florida naval base. It is the same naval base linked to the supposed 9/11 hijackers.

Sources told ABC News that investigators are working to determine if the shooter was acting out because of religious or ideological reasons or if there was some sort of problem or hostility that developed in the course of the training at Pensacola.

We certainly can’t expect in-depth and omission-free reporting from ABC News and the rest of the state’s propaganda corporate media. It can be said without a doubt Alshamrani had “ideological reasons” for killing Americans. He was a 2nd Lt., an aviation officer in the Saudi military. Although we are told Saudi Arabia is now in the process of modernization, it still clings to its medieval religion, Wahhabism.

The IG Report is a Huge Blow to the FBI’s Credibility. Why is it Being Treated Like Vindication?

The Department of Justice’s Office of the Inspector General released its highly anticipated report on the FBI’s investigation of the Trump campaign’s Russia connection on Monday.

Make no mistake: The report chronicles serious wrongdoing with respect to the FBI’s surveillance of Trump campaign advisor Carter Page, and is ultimately a damning indictment of the the nation’s top law enforcement agency. All Americans should have serious concerns about the FBI’s respect for constitutional principles, ability to carefully evaluate conflicting information, and its competency in general.

Many in the media have focused on the fact that the IG report failed to turn up any evidence that the FBI’s investigation of the Trump campaign’s possible connections to Russia was politically motivated. The Washington Post‘s key takeaway was that the report amounted to a “triple rebuke” of the president and his allies. CNN’s article lead with “conspiracy theories debunked” and called the Russia probe “legal and unbiased,” before conceding “serious mistakes” that the network predominantly attributed to a “low level FBI lawyer.” In general, the Trump-critical mainstream media has treated the faltering of the most fervent pro-Trump partisans’ conspiracy theory about a deep state coup as some kind of full acquittal of the FBI. It’s not. The IG report is a chronicle of massive government wrongdoing.

Trump Boasts About Getting NATO Countries to Contribute $530 Billion More and US Less … And Fake News Mocked Him

America has never had such a dishonest and hate-filled mainstream media as it does today.

As Sean Hannity says, “The media is dead.”

And, sadly, even many of the FOX News personalities have become intolerant Trump-bashers.

On Sunday President Trump pointed out how he was alone able to increase NATO contributions by $530 billion. And he also pointed out how the unhinged and hateful media mocked him when he returned from the London meetings.

According to Tony Shaffer at Townhall — At the latest NATO summit in London this month, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg announced that the alliance is “making real progress” on burden-sharing, pointing out that Canada and the European allies have invested an additional $130 billion on defense since 2016, with the goal of increasing their defense spending by a combined $400 billion by 2024.

I got NATO countries to pay 530 Billion Dollars a year more, and the U.S. less, and came home to a Fake News Media that mocked me. Didn’t think that was possible!

Don Cherry’s Debut Podcast Beat Joe Rogan in Canada

“You people” were supposed to be Cherry’s last words but they weren’t.

Once again, cancel culture missed the mark.

Mainstream media still hasn’t gotten the memo that podcasting will eventually be their demise. If you got fired for something you said on a network twenty years ago you were pretty much out of options for reaching the public on a mass scale after that.

Twenty years ago, people weren’t getting fired for misspeaking or a controversial opinion so it wasn’t a big issue. These days, everybody on a network starts out on thin ice and there they stay. What is interesting, however, is that as the networks continue to tighten up their leashes the technology for an open and honest dialogue is expanding. Anybody can start a professional sounding podcast for no more than a couple hundred dollars. It’s a one time fee and you’re set for life.

‘Deadly Delusions’: Europe’s Deradicalization Programs

It was a tragedy of good intentions. “Jack Merritt died in the London Bridge attack. Don’t forget what he stood for”, Emma Goldberg wrote in The New York Times. Merritt was one of the two victims of Usman Khan, an Islamic terrorist who struck on London Bridge on November 29. The other victim was Saskia Jones, a student at the conference targeted by the jihadist. They both dreamed of working to save and protect their murderer.

London had been hosting the fifth anniversary of Learning Together, an event in which ex-prisoners, staff members, students and criminology experts came from all over the country to celebrate the success of their initiative to deradicalize jihadists. Khan had been present as a model of the recovery program. In 2012, Khan was sentenced to prison for plotting to blow up first the London Stock Exchange, then London’s Mayor at the time, Boris Johnson, and then the London Eye ferris wheel. According to the Daily Telegraph, Learning Together used Khan as a “case study” on how reintegration programs in society work. He had even written a poem and a note of thanks to the organizers, on a computer made available to him by his tutors.

New Zealand: Not the Paradise Americans Think it is

In New Zealand, as well as in Australia, we do not have the comprehensive search and seizure protections Americans are granted by their Fourth Amendment. What results is that the New Zealand police regularly deploy roadblocks — euphemistically called “checkpoints” — which infringe on you being able to go about your daily driving business unmolested by the state.

At all of these roadblocks, the intention of the police is to find ways to either drag you away in handcuffs (failed drug tests or carrying contraband) or shank your bank account (fines for expired warrants of fitness, expired registrations, etc.) in order to help the government compensate for their — by global police standards — very high salaries.

In the United States, Americans enjoy the great privilege of being able to go out for a drive at any time without “your papers, please” moments such as these. Additionally, American police can (legally) pull you over only if they have probable cause to believe that a crime has been committed.

Elsewhere in New Zealand — thanks to the Christchurch massacre — freedom of speech and gun privileges are circling the toilet. And yes, Americans will be horrified to know that we do indeed have a 1984-style “chief censor” who determines what’s naughty or nice to watch, read, andn listen to. This New Zealand equivalent of the “Ministry of Truth” blocked access to one of my favorite websites, ZeroHedge, among others earlier this year.

Americans who are looking for a haven from clown world politics and anti—white male browbeating will be disappointed with their choice of New Zealand. The exact same leftist lunacy that permeates the United States is all here, too.

Researchers Find Over 40 New Species of Fish in One Lake

There are over 34,000 recognized species of fish around the world, and they inhabit a wide range of watery habitats.

While this number may already seem high, researchers keep on finding more new varieties of fish, some of which may be evolving continuously.

Most recently, a team of investigators from institutions across the globe — led by evolutionary biologist Joana Meier, Ph.D., from the University of Cambridge in the United Kingdom — discovered dozens of new species of predatory, freshwater fish.
