Democratic Leaders Walk Back Thursday Impeachment Vote

House Democratic leaders are walking back a planned vote Thursday that would officially endorse impeachment proceedings and say that the resolution would merely address the process of holding public hearings on the matter.

“This is not an impeachment resolution,” House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer told reporters Tuesday morning. “I don’t know what an impeachment resolution is.”

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi told reporters Monday that the planned vote was “not an impeachment resolution.”

Don’t be Afraid of Google, Be Very Afraid!

When Google Executive Chairman Eric Schmidt starts talking about Google Search and how it can help “augment reality” for people by giving them “better” answers, it’s time to be concerned. When he states that anything but the “right” answer is considered a “bug” in the algorithm, it’s time to be afraid.

At the beginning of August, Google released its updated guidelines to its network of search quality evaluaters, some of these guidelines are straight out of Orwell’s 1984.

If you believe in Western Allopathic Medicine as the only answer to your health care needs, then you will likely have no issue with Google’s advisement to their evaluaters. Your searches will be ordered so that the top results will be distilled from:…

Federal Judge Reopens Covington Catholic Teen’s $250 Million Lawsuit Against Washington Post

Federal Judge William Bertelsman reopened the $250 million defamation case filed by Covington Catholic student Nicholas Sandmann against the Washington Post.

Sixteen-year-old Covington Catholic student Nicholas Sandmann was smeared and maligned by the liberal press after he was harassed in Washington DC following the March for Life. The Washington Post accused the teen of blocking and impeding Nathan Phillips as the native American elder was harassing him. It was all a lie and the Washington Post was one of the leading liberal outlets attacking the young Catholic boys.

George Soros is Buying the Government While Saying His “Enemies” Are “Would-be Dictators”

Billionaire financier George Soros is buying the United States government with wads of lobbying money. As he attempts to own politicians by buying them (lobbying), he’s calling his critics “would-be dictators” who will not succeed.

Under Trump, the Open Society founder has been pouring greater sums of money into lobbying than ever before, and Soros doesn’t care who he makes an enemy of. “I’m very proud of the enemies I have,” he told the New York Times in an interview published Friday according to a report by RT. “It’s a perfect way to tell a dictator or a would-be dictator if he identifies me as an enemy,” Soros said.

In that same interview, Soros confidently predicted the popular opposition to his globalist philosophy was winding down and that a backlash against Trump-style nationalism was on the horizon.

Soros says that the advancement of global communism is going to happen. That means forget any sense of being an individual, and embrace collectivism, theft, and equal distribution of money, whether you work for it or not. But don’t expect Soros’ wealth to be redistributed. He’s the one buying the politicians to ensure that won’t happen.

Internet Must be Decentralized, Says Wikipedia Founder

In this exclusive interview with The New American’s Alex Newman, Wikipedia Founder Larry Sanger explained why he is now a critic of the online encyclopedia he helped to create. Sanger, who serves as executive director of the Knowledge Standards Foundation, blasted the liberal bias of Wikipedia, as well as the lack of public participation. He says the Big Tech companies have centralized the Internet, and that must be reversed. And finally, he talks about the pedophilia scandals involving elites from Silicon Valley, Hollywood, government, and beyond, saying humanity must understand how the world really works.

Separating Illinois From Cook County Would Help Save the Historic American Nation

If you want to how divided the country is becoming thanks to immigration-driven demographic polarization, Black Lives Matter type-bullying, and the never-ending demonization of whites by SJWs and their torpedoes in the MSM, consider this: Polling data show that more and more Americans across all categories—most notably, age and race—think secession(subdividing towns, cities, even states—all the way up to outright leaving the American Union) is a good idea. This is great news for American whites i.e. the group that used to be known as “Americans” until the disastrous 1965 Immigration Act. It offers them a way to protect their interests and their communities. Hence last year’s try in California, and the long-running effort in Illinois. You read that right: Illinois—Barack Obama’s launching pad.

Republicans there want to split the Land of Lincoln like one of Honest Abe’s fabled logs. Well, almost. In 2018, HR 1138 proposed Chicago as the 51st state, while 2011’s HJR 0052 would have split off Cook County (which includes Chicago and other townships and comprises 40% of Illinois population). Both efforts failed, but two grassroots organizations are keeping hope and change alive.

‘Dead in a Ditch’: UK Destroys Commemorative 31 Oct Brexit Coins

Thousands of commemorative Brexit 50p coins bearing the date October 31st will be melted down after the Remainer-dominated House of Commons forced Prime Minister Boris Johnson to break his pledge to deliver Brexit by Halloween.

Mr Johnson pledged to take the UK out of the EU on October 31st — after his predecessor, Theresa May, delayed Brexit from March 29th — “do or die”, “with or without a deal”. In September, he said that he would rather be “dead in a ditch” than delay Brexit any further.

However, the Remainer-dominated House of Commons forced through a bill that compelled the prime minister to ask for an extension if an exit agreement had not been passed in the lower house by October 19th to stop a clean-break Brexit.

Italy: Salvini Alliance Scores Historic Victory in Umbria Regional Election

After governing for 50 years, the left has been vanquished in Umbria as the center-right alliance led by right-wing populist Matteo Salvini garnered close to 60 percent of the vote in Sunday’s regional elections.

The candidate for governor of the region, Donatella Tesei, who’s backed by Salvini’s League, the national-conservative Brothers of Italy, and Berlusconi’s center-right Forza Italia, snagged 57.5 percent of the vote, defeating Vincenzo Bianconi, who was supported by Italy’s ruling leftist coalition.

Some, including Matteo Salvini, have referred to the victory as historic since the region has — for the past 50 years — been well-known as a stronghold for Italy’s left, Il Giornale reports.

Romanian Presidential Election Horror Story

With 12 days left to the Presidential Elections, the divided Establishment of Romania has decided that there will be no debate between the 14 candidates running for President. And an even more divided country will have no chance to know which one of the 14 traitors would make a better President.

But this is not the only horror story surrounding these “Elections”. The candidates themselves are being involved in scandal after scandal, to the excitement of the Press, who would never waste an opportunity to insult someone. And to add insult to injury, the electorate’s confusion is further magnified by the new scandals that appear to involve the entire political class, without counting the exhausting old scandals.

It’s a real pity to see people’s faces, looking so hopeless. They might have the “right to vote”, but the puppet masters didn’t give them too many options to choose from. It’s like choosing between the Devil and Satan. No matter who you vote, you gonna lose.

It’s a wonder why the Romanian High Court of Justice (Tribunalul Bucuresti) refuses stubbornly to consider my request to investigate these elections? I have made that request three months ago and they still didn’t take a decision. I have made a similar request 3 weeks ago to the institution organizing these elections, the Central Electoral Bureau (Biroul Electoral Central). And to my “surprise”, they haven’t bothered to reply yet. Because organizing this circus called “Presidential Elections” takes a lot of time, and energy, and money. Our money. People’s money…

Scientocracy Busts Open the Motivation Behind Global Warming Politics

The title of this new book is a play on aristocracy. The science aristocracy is living off its former reputation as honest investigators of the natural world. But now they are largely mean-spirited bureaucrats who don’t hesitate to fake science when it serves their bureaucratic and financial goals. The public, politicians, and the media are mostly scientific ignoramuses easily fooled into believing that fake science is rock-solid science. There is an alliance driven by the money-greed of the science mandarins and the socialist dreams of the political Left. It is not an accident that the many ecological catastrophes predicted by rogue science get political support from the Left.

The book consists of 11 essays by prominent whistleblowers that have waged mostly losing battles with the scientocracy. The editors are Patrick Michaels, a distinguished skeptical climate scientist, and Terence Kealey, a biochemist and former university administrator in Great Britain.

The science establishment has been corrupted by money, specifically federal research grants. A wise President Eisenhower warned about the corrupting effect of money on science in this 1961 farewell address. Money is now more important than science. A big bite of every research grant goes to the university as “overhead.” So the university bureaucracy is intensely focused on bringing in more research grants. For the researcher, money means promotion, status, and the means to engage in expensive research projects.

Sweden: What to Do About Gang Violence?

In Sweden, crucial societal issues, such as who is behind the current crime epidemic, are a public taboo.

“With the exception of three people in the survey, all have been offered help since they were boys. Some of them were already registered with the police as ten-year-olds… They have undergone programs… far from the criminal environment in Malmö… It has not worked. In many cases, social services use the same words: all resources have been exhausted. Put another way: what the social services have done so far does not help, and there are no more measures to try out”. — Sydsvenskan, September 21, 2019

The government therefore recently presented a new initiative, which seeks to tackle the gang violence. The government proposal, however, never specifically mentions who is mainly behind the gang violence and that its own migration policies have in large part created the situation in which Swedish society now finds itself.

UK: Death by Islamophobia

Great Britain and now most of Europe behave in classic dhimmi fashion, falling prey to the imaginary racism called Islamophobia. In fact, as Salman Rushdie writes in Joseph Anton, “a new word has been created to help the blind remain blind: Islamophobia. To criticize the militant stridency of this religion in its contemporary incarnation [is] to be a bigot.”

After the Iranian Revolution of 1980, the term “Islamophobia” “underwent a mutation that weaponized it.” It continues to be more militant as it has “entered the global lexicon.” Clearly, America and Canada are not immune, either.

Thus, the All Party Parliamentary Group on British Muslims (APPG) recently released a report titled “Islamophobia Defined: The inquiry into a working definition of Islamophobia.” A few quotations from the lengthy report should highlight the disingenuousness of a document that is essentially recommending a form of blasphemy law.

[W]e drew attention to the fantastic work done by British Muslims over the Christmas period. Muslim-led charities and the huge contribution they make to civil society and social welfare … was the subject[…]

So the first item in the report caters to the uninformed, claiming that Islam is a religion that merely wants to reach out in an expression of genuine ecumenical brotherhood. Are we allowed to ask why so many Muslims, in the name of Islam, murder non-Muslims? Muslim persecution of Christians is at an all-time high.

Amazonian States Want $30 Billion in Ecological Reparations From ‘Rich Countries’

NGO Says Greek Draft Asylum Law is Against Migrants’ Rights

NGO Human Rights Watch (HRW) said on Tuesday that a Greek draft law threatens to restrict access to protection for asylum seekers from Syria, Iraq, and Afghanistan. “The bill is a naked attempt to block access to protection and increase deportations in the face of the recent increase in arrivals,” said researchers at HRW. Greece is currently facing the biggest resurgence of refugee arrivals since 2015.

[Comment: If a NGO doesn’t like what Greece is doing, then Greece is doing something right.]

Trump Blasts Chicago’s Sanctuary City Policy

In his first official visit to Chicago since taking office, President Trump lambasted the city’s officials on Monday for their policy of refusing to work with federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) on the capture of illegal immigrants in the city.

In a speech to the International Association of Chiefs of Police conference, the president repeatedly linked the fight against crime to the need for local police agencies to cooperate with ICE’s efforts to remove immigrants who are in the country illegally. Trump singled out Chicago as a particularly bad offender. “Chicago is, unfortunately, the worst sanctuary city in America,” Trump said.

Al-Jazeera Says Not Wanting to Eat Insects is Racist

According to Al Jazeera, not wanting to eat insects is racist because Christopher Columbus said it was a trait of “savages”.

Yes, really.

Al-Jazeera’s Yara Elmjouie put out a video entitled ‘Why bugs are the protein of the future’ in which he claims that westerners have a fear of edible insects because “European colonizers demonized indigenous people as “savages” for eating insects.”

Biden on Being Denied Communion: ‘I’m a Practicing Catholic, I Practice My Faith’

Former Vice President and 2020 presidential candidate Joe Biden refused to confirm reports that he was denied Communion at a South Carolina church on Sunday because of his stance on abortion, referring to the incident as his “personal life.”

“I’m not going to discuss that,” Biden told MSNBC’s Andrea Mitchell in an on-air phone interview on Tuesday.

Biden and his wife attended Mass at the St. Anthony Catholic Church in Florence during a campaign stop, but he was denied Holy Communion — seen by Catholics as receiving the body and blood of Jesus Christ — after the pastor took issue with Biden’s support of a woman’s right to an abortion.

Drag Queen Flashes Young Children at ‘Drag Queen Story Hour’

Within the last decade or so, drag queens went from being a niche and esoteric art form intended for adult audiences, to a growing worldwide phenomenon with millions upon millions of fans.

With drag’s massive boost in popularity came the intersecting of drag and children. Across the United States and Canada, drag queens have been asked to participate in Drag Queen Story Hour, and events of a similar nature.

According to Hennepin County Libraries, the events promote “self-expression, dress-up, and gender fluidity through stories, rhymes, music and movement with drag performers” from around local communities.

Hennepin County Library has become the centre of an online scandal, though, as a photo from one of their Drag Queen Story Hour event went viral.

Three ‘Abrahamic’ Religions Sign Landmark Text Condemning Euthanasia

ROME — Leaders of the Jewish, Christian, and Muslim faiths signed a joint declaration in the Vatican Monday condemning euthanasia and assisted suicide as “inherently” evil acts that should be prohibited.

“The three Abrahamic monotheistic religions share common goals and are in complete agreement in their approach to end-of-life situations,” says the document, which was submitted to Pope Francis.

“We oppose any form of euthanasia — that is the direct, deliberate and intentional act of taking life — as well as physician-assisted suicide — that is the direct, deliberate and intentional support of committing suicide — because they fundamentally contradict the inalienable value of human life, and therefore are inherently and consequentially morally and religiously wrong, and should be forbidden without exceptions,” it reads.

Sounds like Sweden should bring back the death penalty ASAP.

  2. “‘Take That Off, What is it?’ Muslim Reveller, 21, Claims Bouncers at a Popular Sydney Pub Told Her She Must Remove Her Hijab to Enter While Her White Friends Could Walk Straight in — Before Police Told Her to Move on” Nothing happened. She was denied access because she refused to allow to be identified. It’s a waste of time writing a long article, two paragraphs are more than enough and, frankly, no ink should be wasted on something as minor as this. Plenty of people are refused access to clubs every night and nobody cares. Just because she’s muslim doesn’t make a difference. She might think it does, we only need to put her back into her place – nobody in the West is going to treat muslims like snowflakes, period.

  3. What an entertaining reading I found! The Atheist Handbook 1987.
Chapter “Muslim Morality” (It’s very funny to read now. However, now no one would dare to say such a thing.)

… Based on the teachings of Islam about the eternity, immutability and universality of Muslim morality, the suitability of its norms for all times and peoples, Muslims living in a society of developed socialism are invited to be guided in life by the norms and principles of morality of feudal society.

… Islamic morality proceeds from a low level of moral consciousness of a person, assuming that a person can do the right thing only if he is told that his given action in any situation, in any situation, will be correct. Such morality orientates a person to thoughtless behavior. And this has its own logic: if all the actions of people have long been predetermined from above, then there is no reason for a person to think about the complexities of life situations.

… Such attitudes lead the believer to the idea that the existence of people who do not worship Allah, not only does not make sense, but is also not justified. And similar conclusions were made by Muslims in past centuries, which made it easier for the exploiting classes to raise Muslim workers under the banner of Islam to fight and destroy non-Muslim workers.

A believer – a member of a developed socialist society – has many questions in this regard. What if the requirements prescribed by the Qur’an and the Sunnah contradict the spirit of the times and interfere with people in their daily lives? For example, what is the position of modern Muslims in their relations with unbelievers and non-believers? The Qur’an warns that unbelievers will not fail to harm Muslims, they want believers to be in trouble, because unbelievers are clear enemies. The Qur’an encourages believers to fight with unbelievers, “until there is temptation, and all religion belongs to Allah” (8: 40), to produce “their great beating” (47: 4). The Qur’an also calls: “Beat the polytheists” (9: 5). Allah considers moral the principle “the soul is for the soul, and the eye is for the eye, and the nose is for the nose, and the ear is for the ear, and the tooth is for the tooth …” (5: 49), etc.

There are many other norms in the Qur’an that are inconsistent with the Soviet way of life, with the moral ideas of the citizens of our country, including believers.

Thus, Muslim moral preaching poses complex questions for believers, proposes to resolve insoluble contradictions, which deforms the moral consciousness of adherents of Islam.
