Yesterday, former Trump Campaign Manager Corey Lewandowski was asked to testify in front of the House Judiciary Committee, as part of their efforts to hold impeachment hearings against Trump.
Before the Democrats clown show started, Lewandowski blistered Democrats in his opening statement:
He mocked the anti-Trump Democrat presidential candidate Rep. Eric Swalwell who dropped out of the race when he couldn’t pull down 1% in the polls, repeatedly referring to him as “President Swalwell.”
He humiliated Sheila Jackson-Lee, who attempted to discredit Lewandowski without allowing him the opportunity to respond.
And then, there was one moment when it looked like the Democrats were going to finally trip up Lewandowski on a statement he made during an interview with MSNBC host Ari Melber. During the interview, Lewandowski told Melber, “I don’t ever remember the president ever asking me to get involved with Jeff Sessions or the Department of Justice in any way, shape, or form.”
Democratic counsel Barry Berke questioned Lewandowski about the clip, asking him if he heard it? Lewandowski responded, saying, “Yes, I heard it.” “That wasn’t true, was it, sir?” Berke asked. Lewandowski responded, “I have no obligation to be honest with the media because they’re just as dishonest as anyone else.”
This morning, the fearless Corey Lewandowski appeared in the anti-Trump lion’s den. CNN host, Allison Camerota, like the Democratic legal counsel yesterday, attempted to paint Lewandowski as a liar. Lewandowski brilliantly turned her accusations into an opportunity for him to point out that CNN hired Andrew McCabe as a paid contributor on their network, and that he is currently under criminal referral for lying under oath.
When Camerota asked Lewandowski to clarify his remarks, asking if he thinks he only needs to tell the truth under oath, he replied, “I’ll be happy to answer your question, and I’ll be held to the same standard as your employees. That can’t be said, the truth about James Comey, or Andrew McCabe, who’s employed by CNN.”

Democratic Donor Ed Buck Paid at Least 10 Men to Use Drugs for His Own Pleasure, Prosecutors Say
In political circles, Ed Buck was best known as a wealthy donor who championed animal rights and LGBTQ causes, dumping more than half a million dollars into the coffers of Democratic candidates running for school boards, Senate seats and spots on the West Hollywood City Council.
In West Hollywood’s Plummer Park, less than a mile from Buck’s home, homeless men in desperate circumstances had a much simpler frame of reference for the 65-year-old.
They called him “Dr. Kevorkian.”

Did ISIS-Linked Airline Mechanic Disable Same System That Previously Crashed Two 737s?
Now that we know that the Miami American Airlines mechanic who sabotaged a plane had on his phone Islamic State video, two questions arise: Are any (other?) jihadist-minded mechanics working on our jetliners?
And has such terrorism already cost lives?
Reminiscent of the Obama administration labeling the 2009 terrorism-inspired Fort Hood shooting “workplace violence,” the media assured us that airplane saboteur Abdul-Majeed Marouf Ahmed Alani was motivated solely by a labor dispute.
The Washington Examiner reports on the story: “Alani was accused earlier this month of inserting an object into the navigational system of the airplane [a Boeing 737] that would … [alter] airspeed readings.”

Jeffrey Epstein ‘Sex Slave’ Describes ‘Having Sex With Prince Andrew at Age 17’
Virignia Roberts, who claims she was a “sex slave” of pedophile Jeffrey Epstein, alleges in a new TV show that had sex with Prince Andrew in 2001 when she was just 17.
The incident occurred in the London townhouse of Ghislaine Maxwell, a former Epstein girlfriend who became his top aide, after the prince gave her vodka at a nightclub, she says.
In her first television interview, Roberts — who now goes by her married name “Guiffre” — talked with NBC’s “Dateline,” joining with five other Epstein accusers, including three who have not come forward before. The episode, titled “Reckoning,” airs on Friday night at 10 p.m. EST.
Prince Andrew has denied Giuffre’s allegations, but a photo, allegedly taken by Epstein, shows the prince his arm around the waist of Giuffre, who was 17 at the time.
Giuffre, who is now 35, says she is telling the truth about Prince Andrew. “He was an abuser, he was a participant,” she says on the show.

Facebook has invoked its free speech right as a publisher, insisting its ability to smear users as extremists is protected, but its legal immunity thus far has rested on a law which protects platforms, not publishers. Which is it?
Facebook has declared it has the right, as a publisher, to exercise its own free speech and bar conservative political performance artist Laura Loomer from its platform. Even calling her a dangerous extremist is allowed under the First Amendment, because it’s merely an opinion, Facebook claims in its motion to dismiss the lawsuit filed by Loomer.
But Facebook has always defined itself as a tech company providing a platform for users’ speech in the past, a definition that has come to appear increasingly ridiculous in the era of widespread politically-motivated censorship. Now, the not-so-neutral content platform has redefined itself as a publisher equipped with a whole new set of rights, but bereft of the protections that have kept it safe from legal repercussions in the past.

Trump Admin Tells UNC, Duke to Revise Islam Program or Lose Taxpayer Funds
The Trump administration is calling on the University of North Carolina (UNC) and Duke University to revise their joint Middle Eastern studies program or lose taxpayer funding. According to the Department of Education, the program offers very few, “if any,” programs focused on the historic discrimination against religious minorities in the Middle East, and lacks balance, focusing on the “positive aspects of Islam” while having an “absolute absence” of a similar focus on the positive aspects of Christianity and Judaism.
The U.S. Department of Education says that Duke and UNC are misusing a federal grant to advance “ideological priorities,” and is ordering the Duke-UNC Consortium for Middle East Studies (CMES) to revise its joint program by September 22 or risk losing federal funding, according to a report by the Associated Press.

Caroline Glick: A Note on Israel’s Elections
The US media coverage of the Israeli election has misrepresented the results of Tuesday’s vote. This isn’t necessarily deliberate. Israeli elections are inscrutable for most foreigners, particularly for Americans who are used to the clarity of the presidential system and two-party system.
Here are a few of basic facts about how the vote has gone, and where Israel is likely to go in the days and weeks ahead.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu did not lose and his challenger, former IDF chief of general staff and Blue and White faction chief Benny Gantz did not win. Despite the fact that Blue and White won 31 seats in the 120-seat Knesset to Likud’s 31 seats, Gantz cannot form a government under any circumstances. He cannot build a majority coalition.
Wednesday Netanyahu assembled the heads of all the right wing and religious parties that form the basis for Likud-led governing coalitions. The factions unified into one right-wing bloc and agreed on principles for future coalition talks. They agreed to conduct coalition talks as a bloc, under Netanyahu’s leadership. By forming this 55-member bloc, Netanyahu created a situation where he is the only possible prime minister. Either the Blue and White Party — or one of its three factions — joins him, or Amir Peretz and Orly Levy bring the Labor party in, or Israel goes to new elections. Those are the only options…

Maduro Reversal? Price Controls Not Being Enforced, Leading to Economic Revival in Venezuela
Almost unnoticed by the mainstream media are recent decisions by Venezuela’s Marxist dictator, Nicolas Maduro, to relax some of the more debilitating of his economic policies. That relaxation is already leading to economic revival in the country’s cities.
As reported by Kejal Vyas from Caracas and published by the Wall Street Journal on Tuesday, Maduro “has quietly and cautiously begun implementing free-market policies … [his regime has] largely stopped enforcing the price controls that had led to dire food shortages … [which is] giving some life, even if limited, to the economy.”
The economy under Maduro is worse than America’s was at the bottom of the Great Depression, and the IMF is forecasting it will shrink by another 35 percent this year. More than four million of Venezuela’s 30 million residents have left the country, leaving the rest behind to cope with lack of food, medical services and supplies, disease, and starvation.
But, thanks to Maduro’s silent lifting of some of his more onerous restrictions, the economy is beginning to recover, at least in Caracas.

So much has been written about truth. In the King James Bible one reads: “ye shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free.”
George Orwell warned: ‘The further a society drifts from the truth, the more it will hate those that speak it.’
Winston Chuchill : The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it, ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is.
Friedrich Nietzsche opined: “All things are subject to interpretation whichever interpretation prevails at a given time is a function of power and not truth.”
And my favorite is “In vino veritas” …in Chardonnay there is truth.
Lies are now defined by people as inner or personal truths. Even though they are so often wrong, the left is never in doubt. Outright prevarication is “settled fact” and will brook no skepticism, let alone challenge.
Examples of lies that are now “settled” truth for the “woke” generation…

Exploding 492,126-Foot Asteroid Created New Species on Earth Millions of Years Ago
A new study revealed that an asteroid may have largely contributed to the evolution of life on Earth over 460 million years ago. It certainly contradicts the life-ending event caused by a different asteroid 66 million years ago.
Asteroids are mainly regarded as a major cosmic threat to Earth primarily due to what happened to the planet during the time of the dinosaurs. According to reports, an asteroid several miles long crashed into Earth 66 million years ago and triggered a series of catastrophic events that led to the extinction of over 70% of life on the planet.
A recent study, however, proposed that a different asteroid could be responsible for kicking off life on the planet. According to the researchers, a massive collision in the asteroid belt broke up a giant space rock that was over 490,000 feet long. This caused thousands of meteorites to flood the solar system.
