“Monster” Hurricane Dorian is Projected to be “A Very Big Hurricane, Perhaps One of the Biggest”
Well, that certainly escalated quickly. On Wednesday we were told that Hurricane Dorian would only be a Category 3 storm when it hits the Florida coastline, but now we are being told that it will be a Category 4 storm. Hurricane Dorian is rapidly gaining strength over very warm waters in the Atlantic Ocean, and the latest forecast has it making landfall somewhere along the east coast of Florida on Monday. If it is officially a Category 4 storm when it arrives, it will be the most powerful storm to hit the east coast of Florida since Hurricane Andrew in 1992. Dorian is being described as a “monster hurricane”, and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has already declared a state of emergency for all 67 counties in the state of Florida.
We will see how things develop over the next several days, but at this point it has become clear that Dorian has the potential to be an exceedingly dangerous storm.
In fact, President Trump himself is telling us that Dorian could be “perhaps one of the biggest” hurricanes that the U.S. has ever seen…

Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and President Donald Trump have at least one thing in common: they like to block people on Twitter.
But a First Amendment foundation at Columbia University is advising the freshman New York Democrat to unblock users on her personal account because the act by a public official violates the U.S. Constitution based on a recent court ruling involving Trump.
“While there may be reasonable restrictions that don’t go to the specific views that are being expressed on Twitter, at the end of the day, the First Amendment prohibits public officials — like Representative Ocasio-Cortez — from silencing critics because of the views they’re expressing,” Carrie DeCell, a staff attorney for the Knight First Amendment Institute at Columbia University, told Newsweek.

The Juul, an e-cigarette that delivers a nicotine hit equal to the amount in two packs of cigarettes, may be one of the toughest.
Adult customers say they find the high nicotine content as satisfying as conventional cigarettes, but the Juul also has a growing number of teen fans, whose developing brains are uniquely vulnerable to addiction. Those teens could become a new generation of smokers, researchers warn.
“This is really the genie you can’t put back in the bottle,” Matthew Myers, the president of the nonprofit Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids, told Business Insider.

A former school peer of Kate Middleton, British actress Anouska De Georgiou, revealed that she was sexually abused by Jeffrey Epstein during a hearing with other victims of the pedophile who killed himself earlier this month.
De Georgiou, 42, identified herself as one of Epstein’s victims for the first time on Tuesday, telling a judge in Manhattan federal court that the millionaire ‘manipulated me, coerced me and sexually abused me’.
The actress, who went to Marlborough College at the same time as Duchess of Cambridge, was not the only victim with a Royal connection.

On Thursday the Department of Justice Inspector General released its report on the investigation of fired FBI Director James Comey.
The report concluded: James Comey Violated Department and FBI Policies Pertaining to the Retention, Handling, and Dissemination of FBI Records and Information
The Comey report concluded that fired FBI Director James Comey stole memos and kept them at his home. But FBI officials cleared Comey saying the stolen documents did not contain “classified” material only confidential material.
The agents who categorized the memos were deep state operatives: James Baker, Bill Priestap, and lovers Peter Strzok and Lisa Page.

President Trump’s executive assistant Madeleine Westerhout resigned on Thursday after she was caught leaking details about Trump’s family and Oval Office operations to reporters.
Westerhout joined Trump’s transition team from the RNC and was not considered a ‘ Trump loyalist.’
According to the New York Times, President Trump learned on Thursday that Westerhout had “indiscreetly shared details” about Trump’s family and “Oval Office operations” during a recent “off-the-record” dinner with reporters in New Jersey.

Donald Trump Scolds General Motors for Moving Plants to China After Bailout
Taxpayers funded a $50 billion package that bailed out General Motors after the company went bankrupt in 2009, as the federal government ultimately lost $11.2 billion in the process.
Trump described General Motors as “once the Giant of Detroit” but mocked it as “one of the smallest auto manufacturers.”
Despite their history in Detroit, General Motors now employs fewer union American workers in the city than any of their domestic rivals.
In 2018, GM sold 3.6 million vehicles in China compared with about 2.9 million in the United States as sales in China make up to 43 percent of their global sales.
The Buick Envision SUV is built entirely in China, and now faces a 25 percent tariff to come to the United States, as a result of Trump’s newly enacted tariffs on Chinese manufactured cars.

Hurricane Dorian Strengthens to ‘Extremely Dangerous’ Category 4 Storm
Hurricane Dorian has strengthened to an “extremely dangerous” Category 4 storm with maximum sustained winds near 130 miles per hour, the National Hurricane Center announced Friday night.
The NHC statement said that the storm’s change in intensity was detected by hurricane hunter aircraft.

Jim Carrey: James Comey Critics Will ‘Spend Eternity Choking on the Devil’s Dong’
Actor Jim Carrey defended fired FBI Director James Comey after the Department of Justice’s inspector general’s report concluded that Comey broke bureau policy by leaking memos with classified information.

Madeleine Westerhout: White House Aide Fired After Leaks on Trump Family
US President Donald Trump’s personal assistant has been forced to resign from the White House after leaking private information about his family.
Madeleine Westerhout, 29, was abruptly removed on Thursday after the president learned she had been talking to reporters at a dinner this month.
She was drinking and bragging about her access to Mr Trump during his holiday in New Jersey, CBS News reports.
Ms Westerhout had worked with him since the first day of his presidency.

NASCAR Denies Ads for America’s Most Popular Rifle
Ad company says NASCAR making ‘gradual shift on guns’
A pair of gun companies said this week that NASCAR rejected their rifle ads because of the racing company’s “gradual shift on guns.”
Dark Storm Industries said an ad it submitted featuring one of the company’s AR-15s was rejected and online retailer K-Var Corp. said an ad featuring an AK-47 and 9mm handgun was also rejected. Both said a NASCAR advertising agency solicited ads from them for NASCAR publications. They submitted ads but were told NASCAR would not accept them.
“NASCAR decided to turn their back on their customer base, joining the likes of Yeti, Dick’s and Under Armour,” Dark Storm wrote in an Instagram post. “We were approached by a NASCAR publication eager to earn our business, but after submitting our ad it was immediately rejected, stating that we cannot depict ‘assault weapons.’“…
As the companies predicted, backlash to the ban was swift in the outdoor community.
“Turning Left: NASCAR Bans Firearm Ads, Cites ‘Gradual Shift’ on Guns,” a headline at Outdoor Hub said. “NASCAR Goes Anti-Gun, Bans Black Rifle Ads,” read another at All Outdoor. Radio show host and lifelong NASCAR fan Mark Walters said the shift in gun ad policy tells him the racing association is “no longer the NASCAR I thought I knew” in a piece for Ammoland.
“Go ahead NASCAR, try to fill the stands with a bunch of David Hogg, Moms Demand Action, Everytown for Gun Safety, urban, progressive, skinny jean wearing, soy sipping, man-bun wearing, Antifa loving, gun-hating socialists,” Walters wrote. “I won’t be around to see how that turns out for you.”

Official Narrative Crumbles: Two Broken Cameras Outside Epstein’s Cell Sent to FBI
New reports are stating that there was not one, but two broken cameras outside dead pedophile Jeffery Epstein’s cell. Now isn’t that odd for a guy who was taken off “suicide watch” right before his death for already allegedly trying to kill himself?
The establishment is working diligently to keep their official narrative intact. According to a report by Reuters, two cameras that malfunctioned outside the jail cell where financier Jeffrey Epstein died as he awaited trial on sex-trafficking charges have been sent to an FBI crime lab for examination, a law enforcement source told the media outlet.
Epstein’s lawyers Reid Weingarten and Martin Weinberg told U.S. District Judge Richard Berman in Manhattan on Tuesday they had doubts about the New York City chief medical examiner’s conclusion that their client killed himself. And those doubts are well-founded, as the news that two cameras monitoring the high-profile and allegedly suicidal Epstein managed to fail. Both of the cameras were within view of the Manhattan jail cell where he was found dead on August 10th. A source earlier told Reuters two jail guards failed to follow a procedure overnight to make separate checks on all prisoners every 30 minutes. Coupled with the failed cameras, the official narrative is beginning to fall apart rapidly.

Teen Charged With Trying to Give ISIS Material Support
NEW YORK — A 19-year-old has been charged in federal court after he was arrested in Queens during an FBI national security investigation, officials and law enforcement sources said.
Awais Chudhary, a naturalized American citizen born in Pakistan, is charged with attempting to provide material support to ISIS, a designated foreign terrorist organization. Chudary was arrested Thursday and made his first appearance in court Friday before being held without bail.

Too Late: Trump Tells MSNBC Weasel O’Donnell to Lawyer Up, Despite ‘Apology’

MSNBC host Lawrence O’Donnell tried to weasel his way out of reporting fake news about President Trump colluding with Russian oligarchs, by ‘apologizing’ on air Thursday night. However, Eric Trump says it’s too late, and warned O’Donnell that he will face legal action over the slur.

John Soloman of The Hill writes — My sources tell me President Trump is putting the finishing touches on a White House initiative to declassify documents that have remained hidden from the public for far too long.
This welcome effort to provide more public transparency and accountability almost certainly will focus early on the failings of the now-debunked Russia collusion probe. The co-founder and chief executive of Twitter has had his own account on the service taken over by hackers.
A group referring to itself as the Chuckling Squad said it was behind the breach of Jack Dorsey’s account.
The account, which has more than four million followers, tweeted out a flurry of highly offensive and racist remarks for about 15 minutes.
The site later confirmed it had regained control of the account.

Vaping Caused North Texas Teen’s Lungs to Fail, Doctors Say
Tryston Zohfeld is 17 years old and told WFAA that he’s been vaping since the 8th grade, sometimes going through two to three vaping pods a week.
A 17-year-old Weatherford High School graduate is now recovering after doctors in Fort Worth determined excessive vaping caused the teen’s lungs to fail, sparking an 18-day stay in the hospital.
On July 26, Tryston Zohfeld was taken to Cook Children’s in Fort Worth after an X-ray showed a blockage in his lungs.
The teen told WFAA that he had chills, an elevated heart rate, was tired, and that he had been vomiting.
“I woke up just throwing up everywhere, and my heart was beating out of my chest going 100 miles an hour,” Zohfeld said…
Dr. Schultz believes that the chemicals Zohfeld was inhaling caused his lungs to inflame so much that they could no longer exchange oxygen and carbon dioxide.

While the left will most certainly try to shoehorn her into their Green New Deal campaign, the right may be less convinced.

UK: Judge Rejects Call to Immediately Block Boris Johnson Plan to Suspend Parliament
A push to block British Prime Minister Boris Johnson from suspending Parliament amid negotiations over the United Kingdom’s exit from the European Union was delayed in court on Friday.
Scottish Judge Raymond Doherty refused to immediately block Johnson’s plan to curtail Parliament’s ability to prevent a no-deal Brexit, The Associated Press reported.
Although the court did not take immediate action, Johnson’s move could still be prevented during a full hearing on the matter Tuesday, the AP reported.

UK: Rotherham Rape Gangs Review Results in Six More Convictions
Six men have been convicted of the historic grooming and raping of vulnerable underaged girls in Rotherham.
Masaued Malik (35), Aftab Hussain (40), Abid Saddiq (38), Sharaz Hussain (35), and two men aged 33 and 35 who cannot be named for legal reasons were found guilty of charges including the rape and sexual assault of seven girls under the age of 16 between 1998 and 2002, following an eight week trial at Sheffield Crown Court.

Wales: New Reptile Species Found in Fossil at Pant-Y-Ffynnon Quarry
Fossil fragments left in a museum storeroom for decades have been identified as a new reptile species that was roaming about 200 million years ago.
Tiny armour plates, vertebrae and ribs were revealed inside a small rock put into a CT scanner to view it in 3D.
Experts believe the plates “put it on the crocodile side of the evolutionary tree” from the Late Triassic period.
It was found at a quarry in the Vale of Glamorgan in the 1950s.
It has been named Aenigmaspina pantyffynnonensis which refers, in part, to where it was found at Pant-y-ffynnon Quarry, which has been the site of other finds.

Akar Renews Cyprus Invasion Threat
Reiterating remarks he made earlier in the month, Turkish Defense Minister Hulusi Akar suggested Friday that Turkey will not hesitate to invade Cyprus again.
“We are at the same point in Cyprus that we were in 1974. No one should doubt that we will do what we did then if we have a similar situation today,” he reportedly said during an event marking the 97th anniversary of the end of the 1922 Greek-Turkish war, which is celebrated in Turkey as Victory Day.
He also expressed Turkey’s determination to continue activities in the Eastern Mediterranean and the Aegean.

A Belgian native and former Birmingham resident dubbed ‘the executioner of Raqqa’ who reportedly received benefits from the UK government for years while fighting for ISIS in Syria has finally been captured, RT.com reports.
Anouar Haddouchi, 35, moved to the British midlands in 2009 and would later reportedly behead more than 100 people in the central market square in Raqqa while fighting for the Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS). He has now finally been captured and is being held in a prison run by the Syrian Democratic Forces, consisting of Kurdish and Arab fighters.

Georgia: Shock Video: Woman Stabs Child, 3, In Face as He’s Walking With Parents
Woman arrested, boy required stitches due to deep wounds.
Video out of T’bilisi, Georgia shows the moment a large woman snaps and randomly stabs a three-year-old child in the face as he walks down a sidewalk holding his mother’s hand.
Footage of the Wednesday incident shows a family going along minding their own business when the woman, who was walking in the opposite direction, unexpectedly turns and begins stabbing a young boy.
The woman next attempts to do the same to the boy’s young sister.
The children’s father attempts to confront her, but is intimidated by the woman’s large butcher knife.
She then proceeds to cross the street as though nothing happened.
The boy required stitches due to deep wounds in his nose and right cheek.

Hong Kong Lawmakers Jeremy Tam and Au Nok-Hin Arrested, As Police Continue Round-Up of Democrats
Pro-democracy lawmakers Jeremy Tam and Au Nok-hin were arrested on Friday evening — the latest of the high-profile pro-democracy activists to be rounded up by Hong Kong police.
Au was arrested for assaulting a police officer and obstructing a police officer on July 8, police said. Tam was also arrested on Friday for obstructing a police officer.
Both lawmakers were present in Mong Kok in the early hours of July 8, after a massive anti-extradition bill protest that took place the day before. The march was meant to inform mainland visitors about the movement, and organisers estimated that the event drew 230,000.

It recently emerged that Romano was still alive at Christmas.

Court Reverses Sole Conviction in San Francisco Pier Killing by Illegal Immigrant
SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — A California state appeals court on Friday threw out the sole conviction against an immigrant who fatally shot a young woman on the San Francisco waterfront in 2015.
Jose Inez Garcia-Zarate was acquitted of murder in the killing of Kate Steinle, who was walking on a pier with her father when she was struck by a bullet in the back in July 2015. He was convicted of a single charge of being a felon in possession of a gun.

French Anti-Immigrant Group Members Jailed and Fined
Three members of a French right-wing anti-immigration group have been sentenced to six months in prison and a fine of €2,000 each for their part in anti-immigrant actions on the Franco-Italian border.
The court handed the sentences out on Thursday August 29, and highlighted the “extremely serious nature of the acts” carried out in 2018 by the extreme-right group, Génération Identitaire.

Ilhan Omar Demands UN Take Control of US Borders in Mirror of European Migrant Crisis
“We have to bring in the United Nations high commissioner on refugees.”
Rep. Ilhan Omar is demanding that the United Nations take control of the U.S. border with Mexico in a mirror of how Europe was inundated with migrants following lobbying from international bodies.
“We should do what any other country does by dealing with this situation in a serious way,” Omar said during an immigration forum in south Minneapolis.

Hungarian premier Viktor Orban has sent a warm letter to Italian populist leader Matteo Salvini, who is leaving government as the formerly anti-establishment Five Star Movement (M5S) forms a new coalition with the left-establishment Democratic Party (PD) to avoid fresh elections.
The League (Lega, formerly Lega Nord) leader made huge waves when he formed a coalition government with M5S after the Italian elections in 2018, becoming Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior and taking bold, decisive, and effective action against illegal migration and the NGO-operated migrant ferries he accused of facilitating it.
The relationship between M5S and Lega soured, however, as the former sank in the polls and Salvini’s party rose, to the point where Salvini lost confidence in the coalition’s leadership and called for a snap election.

Sanctuary City: Illegal Alien Accused of Raping 16-Year-Old Girl at Knifepoint
An illegal alien has been arrested after allegedly raping a 16-year-old girl at knifepoint in the sanctuary city of Montgomery County, Maryland — the fifth alleged illegal alien rapist arrested in the area in a month.

Spain: Single Algerian Migrant Arrested 14 Times in 11 Weeks
Of the top ten worst offenders in Barcelona over the summer, an Algerian illegal migrant topped the list with 14 arrests over a period of just 11 weeks.
Police say the 18-year-old Algerian was arrested eight separate times for theft and six times for acts of violence and intimidation and was part of a group of underage migrants who arrived in the city last year, Spanish newspaper La Vanguardia reports.

The Latest: 62 Pakistani Migrants Reach Italy Southern Port
MADRID (AP) — THE Latest on migration into Europe (all times local):

Sixty-two Pakistani migrants have reached the southern Italian port of Gallipoli, in the Apulia region, after being found on a tiny island by the local coast guard.
The coast guard said Friday that all the migrants, including nine unaccompanied minors, received assistance from the Red Cross and were in good health, despite a long and distressing journey. It wasn’t clear how they had reached the small Sant’Andrea island, about 4 kilometers (2.5 miles) from Gallipoli.
The migrants have been transferred to a reception center in the coastal city of Otranto.

Illinois Passes Law Requiring LGBTQ Classes in Middle School
Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker has signed a new bill into law requiring the state’s schools to teach “LGBTQ history” to students by the eighth grade.

A new study has revealed an unsettling truth about the citation metrics that are commonly used to gauge scientists’ level of impact and influence in their respective fields of research.
Citation metrics indicate how often a scientist’s research output is formally referenced by colleagues in the footnotes of their own papers — but a comprehensive analysis of this web of linkage shows the system is compromised by a hidden pattern of behaviour that often goes unnoticed.
Specifically, among the 100,000 most cited scientists between 1996 to 2017, there’s a stealthy pocket of researchers who represent “extreme self-citations and ‘citation farms’ (relatively small clusters of authors massively citing each other’s papers),” explain the authors of the new study, led by physician turned meta-researcher John Ioannidis from Stanford University.
