Gates of Vienna News Feed 11/11/2018

French President Emmanuel “Toy Boy” Macron warned the world about the dangers of nationalism during the commemoration in France of the centennial of the end of the Great War. The ceremonies were delayed after a topless woman attacked President Donald Trump’s motorcade in Paris.

In other news, about 250,000 Polish patriots took part in today’s Independence Day March in Poland marking the hundredth anniversary of Polish independence.

6-in-10 Say Trump Can Suspend Press Pass of Acosta, Others

A solid majority of Americans believe that President Trump can suspend White House press credentials of reporters like CNN’s Jim Acosta, who lost his this week after a verbal tussle with the president.

The latest YouGov poll found that 59 percent said the president and White House are in charge of the press passes.

Conservative Professor Mulls Defamation Suit Against Penn for Saying She Made Up Black Student Stats

WASHINGTON — Amy Wax wants to defund Ivy League schools, including her own. She’ll tell you about it later.

The University of Pennsylvania law professor has spent the past year under fire from students and colleagues for her comments on race and culture, starting with an op-ed that praised bourgeois values.

A new round of demands for her firing arose after Wax said she didn’t know of any black law students who graduated in the top quarter of the class. She has stayed silent through most of the controversy.

Doug Casey: How to Survive the Deep State

Almost everyone looks for a political solution to problems. However, once a Deep State situation has taken over, only a revolution or a dictatorship can turn it around, and probably only in a small country.

Maybe you’re thinking you should get behind somebody like Ron Paul (I didn’t say Rand Paul), should such a person materialize. That would be futile.

Here’s what would happen in the totally impossible scenario that this person was elected and tried to act like a Lee Kuan Yew or an Augusto Pinochet against the Deep State:

First, there would be a “sit-down” with the top dogs of the Praetorian agencies and a bunch of Pentagon officers to explain the way things work.

Then, should he survive, he would be impeached by the running dogs of Congress.

Then, should he survive, whipped dog Americans would revolt at the prospect of having their doggy dishes broken.

Remember, your fellow Americans not only elected Obama, but re-elected him. Do you expect they’ll be more rational as the Greater Depression deepens? Maybe you think the police and the military will somehow help. Forget it… they’re part of the problem. They’re here to protect and serve their colleagues first, then their employer (the State), and only then the public. But the whipped dog likes to parrot: “Thank you for your service.” Which is further proof that there’s no hope.

So what should you do, based on all this? For one thing, don’t waste your time and money trying to change the course of history. Trying to stop the little snowball rolling down the mountainside might have worked many decades ago, but now it’s turned into a gigantic avalanche that’s going to smash the village at the bottom of the valley. I suggest you get out of the way.

What, you may ask, would I do if I were dictator of the U.S. and had absolutely no regard for my personal safety? Here’s a seven-part program, for entertainment purposes only:

Federal Judge Says it’s Plausible That Andrew Cuomo Violated the First Amendment by Pressuring Banks and Insurers to Shun the NRA

Last night a federal judge said the National Rifle Association may proceed with a lawsuit that claims New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo is violating the First Amendment by pressuring banks and insurers to shun the NRA and “similar gun promotion organizations.” U.S. District Judge Thomas McAvoy questioned Cuomo’s claim that his messages about the wisdom and propriety of providing financial services to the NRA amount to nothing but legitimate regulatory oversight and protected government speech.

Florida Orders Senate, Governor Race Recounts Amid Mystery Box Controversy

After a Florida Judge ordered Broward County Supervisor of Elections Brenda Snipes to allow for the immediate inspection of tens of thousands of ballots suddenly found after Democrat Sen. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) shuffling boxes into a truck, before he was forcibly removed by a police officer.

Fox News Promotes RFID for Medical Purposes — Here’s Why You Shouldn’t Take the Chip

Fox News is pushing RFID chip implants, encouraging people that the tech is safe and good for medical by stating it’s similar to getting a tetanus shot.

Recently in Sweden, thousands of people have reportedly had chips implanted. Fox highlights this news expressing that a company called Biohax has already “installed” around 4,000 chips into “customers.”

The article then goes onto explain how awesome it is to have a chip in one’s hand, stating that those chipped can open secure doors, pay for tickets, and share emergency medical information. Years ago, it was seen as a “conspiracy theory” that the elite wanted to microchip the populace. Now, it’s right in our faces constantly; it’s no longer a secret. I’ll start by repeating the words of the great Aaron Russo, Rockefeller’s best friend: “Do not take the chip.”

NBC has previously said blatantly, “your kids will receive the microchip for their ‘safety.’ “

There is absolutely nothing safe about allowing your kids to be microchipped. All this is being prepackaged as a way for law enforcement to rescue or find lost, kidnapped and missing children. They always seek to use the children.

Let me tell you, the elite care so much about the children that in the UK they wanted to lower the age of consent to four years old. I would like to know who bankrolled all these positive microchip stories.

In any event, this isn’t the only way they are trying to push people to get the chip. Over the years there have been various commercials trying to push the chip. One showing a concert, another showing a doctor using it to diagnose patients’ disorders, and several other mentions of the chip in the media.

However, a story this writer will never forget is about a Saudi inventor that had a “brilliant idea” to make a chip with a lethal dose of cyanide in it.

Media Dismisses Florida Election Misconduct as Conservative Conspiracy Theory

The media swiftly rebuked Republican concerns of potential fraud or misconduct as “conspiracy theories”

The establishment media is dismissing the election scandal in Florida as a conservative conspiracy theory, but the evidence indicates something strange is afoot.

Republican Governor Rick Scott beat incumbent Democratic Sen. Bill Nelson for the state’s open Senate seat, but days after the election, election supervisors in Broward and Palm Beach counties were still adding votes to the tally.

The supervisors refused to share where the additional ballots were coming from and how many were left to count, leading Republicans in the state to cry foul.

The media swiftly rebuked Republican concerns of potential fraud or misconduct as “conspiracy theories” cooked up to deny Democrats the election.

[Comment: This, of course, means that the election fraud is real and massive.]

More “Found Ballots”: Georgia Democrats Tout Ballots That Could Sink Kemp’s Bid for Governor

Ballots are magically popping up all over the country…Florida, Arizona and now Georgia have found ballots numbering in the thousands! Apparently, the rules apply to everyone EXCEPT Democrats. The never-ending voting process has opened the door for even more chances for voter fraud.

A winner was announced on election eve in Georgia’gubernatorialal race but now we have magical votes changing all of that.

Republican Brian Kemp was declared the winner but Democrats claim they found thousands of absentee ballots:

We’re guessing they’ll keep finding votes until the Democrat wins.

The Kemp campaign claimed it’s mathematically impossible for Abrams to make up the difference but look what’s happening in Florida! They keep pulling ballots out of a hat!

This could get ugly because Abrams refused to concede to Kemp after it was announced he won. Her campaign chairperson just claimed he lied…Nice.

[Comment: It takes time for the Democrat factory to make those ballots, hence the delay “finding” them.]

Scholars With Surnames Beginning With Letters Early in the Alphabet Have an Unfair Advantage in Citation Studies

Jeffrey R. Stevens (Nebraska) & Juan F. Duque (Arcadia), Order Matters: Alphabetizing In-Text Citations Biases Citation Rates, Psychonomic Bulletin & Reviews (2018):

Though citations are critical for communicating science and evaluating scholarly success, properties unrelated to the quality of the work—such as cognitive biases—can influence citation decisions. The primacy effect, in particular, is relevant to lists, which for in-text citations could result in citations earlier in the list receiving more attention than those later in the list. Therefore, how citations are ordered could influence which citations receive the most attention. Using a sample of 150,000 articles, we tested whether alphabetizing in-text citations biases readers into citing more often articles with first authors whose surnames begin with letters early in the alphabet.

We found that surnames earlier in the alphabet were cited more often than those later in the alphabet when journals ordered citations alphabetically compared with chronologically or numerically.

Smokies Biodiversity Inventory Reaches 1,000 New Species Mark

Great Smoky Mountains National Park and its non-profit partner, Discover Life in America (DLIA), recently celebrated the 20th year of the All Taxa Biodiversity Inventory (ATBI) with the announcement of a major milestone of the project — 1,000 new species to science!

Over the last 20 years, many species have been documented in the park for the first time, but the number of species discovered that are completely new to science — meaning they haven’t been documented anywhere on Earth before — is truly amazing. The most recent additions come from the work of lichenologists Erin Tripp, of the University of Colorado, and James Lendemer, of the New York Botanical Garden, who have added five more new-to-science species to the tally, bringing the total up to 1,000. The past 10 years of their research, which is a part of the overall ATBI, has increased the parks knowledge of its lichen fauna by 130% over the original diversity estimates. The five new lichens were named to commemorate NPS staff who played a role in their work.

Stop the Deep State’s “Free Trade” Agenda for Global Government

The Deep State’s globalist plan for what insiders refer to as the “New World Order” — basically, a global government controlled by themselves — begins with submerging the sovereignty of nation-states into regional “orders.” These are better understood as regional governments built using “free trade” deals as the foundation, with the European Union serving as the premier example. How do we know this is the plan? Because top Deep State globalists have said so publicly and repeatedly. And because that is the exact strategy being pursued openly.

— Alex Newman, “Creating a New World Order Out of Regional Orders”

In his article “Creating a New World Order Out of Regional Orders,” Alex Newman makes crystal clear the Deep State globalists’ game plan for establishing a global government. Their plan depends on submerging the sovereignty of nation-states into regional governments based on “free trade” deals. And as he adds later in the same article, “Eventually, these regional orders will be interwoven into an overlapping patchwork of multilateral regimes on the road to creating a truly global authority, perhaps under the United Nations.”

Stop the USMCA!

So you might be saying to yourself, how does the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) fit into this picture?

The short answer is that the 1994 North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) and its proposed successor, the 2018 USMCA, were both designed to provide steppingstones to regional (North American Union), then world (United Nations) government, exactly in accordance with the Deep State globalists’ strategy for establishing a global government as explained above by Newman.

Furthermore, according to Christian Gomez in “USMCA: A TPP Redux?” on page 10: “Unbeknownst to most of Trump’s base and strongest supporters is that much of the USMCA’s text is virtually identical to that of President Obama’s Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP).” This shows that the USMCA is very much from the same mold as the sovereignty-destroying TPP agreement. And we all know that the TPP agreement was considered to be so bad that President Trump withdrew the United States from the TPP on his third day in office.

Technology Detox: The Health Benefits of Unplugging & Unwinding

Recent studies have shown that 90% of Americans use digital devices for two or more hours each day and the average American spends more time a day on high-tech devices than they do sleeping: 8 hours and 21 minutes to be exact. If you’ve ever considered attempting a “digital detox”, there are some health benefits to making that change and a few tips to make things a little easier on yourself.

Many Americans are on their phones rather than playing with their children or spending quality family time together. Some people give up technology, or certain aspects of it, such as social media for varying reasons, and there are some shockingly terrific health benefits that come along with that type of a detox from technology. In fact, more and more health experts and medical professionals are suggesting a periodic digital detox; an extended period without those technology gadgets. Studies continue to show that a digital detox, has proven to be beneficial for relationships, productivity, physical health, and mental health. If you find yourself overly stressed or unproductive or generally disengaged from those closest to you, it might be time to unplug.

It may go unnoticed but there are many who are actually addicted to their smartphones or tablet. It could be social media or YouTube videos, but these are the people who never step away. They are the ones with their face in their phone while out to dinner with their family. They can’t have a quiet dinner without their phone on the table. We’ve seen them at the grocery store aimlessly pushing around a cart while ignoring their children and scrolling on their phone. A whopping 83% of American teenagers claim to play video games while other people are in the same room and 92% of teens report to going online daily. 24% of those users access the internet via laptops, tablets, and mobile devices.

The ‘War Party’ Wins the Midterm Elections, Accelerating Transition to a Multipolar World Order

The outcome of the American midterm elections gives us an even more divided country, confirming that the United States is in the midst of a deep crisis within its establishment.

The midterm elections represented a substantial draw for Democrats and Republicans, a defeat for the Trump administration and a clear victory for the “war party” in Washington. The House of Representatives ended up in the hands of the Democrats, who managed to overturn the results of 2016 by winning 26 seats and bringing their majority to 219, with the Republicans with 193 seats. The Republicans, despite the feared “blue wave”, have increased their representation in the Senate, with 51 senators against the 45 of the Democrats. In terms of governors, Republicans remain ahead, with 25 red states against 21 blue. After two years of fake investigations on Russiagate, continuous attacks by the US media (except for the few pro-Trump channels like Fox News), the blue Democratic wave seemed inevitable. Instead, we witnessed a minor repetition of the 2016 elections, with Trump managing to perform above expectations.

The House of Representatives performs functions mainly related to domestic politics, while the Senate is responsible for confirming important appointments such as those to the Supreme Court. The Democrats holding the majority in the House makes Trump’s 2020 presidential campaign an uphill battle. Trump will need to be able to present to his constituents from 2019 with a series of 2016 promises fulfilled. Getting one’s legislative agenda passed with the House in the hands of one’s opponents is difficult at the best of times. For Trump the task becomes almost impossible.

For this reason, we are faced with a scenario that delivers the country to the war party, that faction composed of Republicans and Democrats who respond to the interests of specific conglomerates of power and not to the citizens who elected them. The real winners of the midterms appear to be the intelligence agencies, Wall Street and the banks, the ratings agencies, the Fed, the mainstream media, think-tanks, policy-makers, and the military-industrial complex. Donald Trump has come to discover, in his first two years as president, how little autonomy he has in foreign policy, thanks to the warmongering of the US establishment.

The Blue Wave Did Hit: California Drowning in Ocean of Blue

Yet, in all honesty, the blue wave did hit. The consequences of recent state elections in California show that state has been converted to the Democrat Sanctuary of Kalifornia. Now, Kalifornia is all blue — and it is representative of the “blue”print for the entire nation. And, it is fairly well known here that the state of California perfected the manufacture of additional ballots long ago, as well as the ballot disappearing act — in order to gain Democrat majorities. Will the rest of America follow the current trend toward socialism in the next decade? Time may tell.

Certainly, with Gavin Newsome as the new governor in California, the state is now able to become a prime foundation for a socialist state. California is now Kalifornia as there is only one party. Different states have experienced supermajorities in the past, but now the new Kalifornia has a super majority of Democrats in the legislature. But most alarming is the mindset of the legislators in the supermajority. They are socialistic and even Marxists with questionable allegiance to the United States as a Union, and questionable adherence to the U.S. Constitution.

Already, the Democrat power structure has brought about promises to “tax the wealthy” through the business tax measure to fund homelessness in the city of San Francisco. The measure passed on Tuesday and authorizes the city and county of San Francisco to fund housing and homelessness services by taxing certain businesses. The taxes target businesses with over $50 million in gross annual receipts, or businesses with over $1 billion in gross annual receipts that have their administrative offices in the city of San Francisco. Will those businesses keep their administrative offices in the city of San Francisco? That is unlikely. Then who will pay for the increasing homeless crisis?

The recent elections will have serious consequences because California is a true one-party state, and may descend into the level of a third world economy with the Democrat leadership in full control. And, with so many illegal aliens welcomed in Kalifornia, there will be little difference in the minds of the illegals, except they will have very wealthy American businesses to finance their stay. The primary “leader” of the sanctuary state, outgoing Governor Jerry Brown, had allowed the MS-13 gang to do untold harm to state citizens under state sanctuary mandates. That may only increase under Newsome.

Another serious consequence is that California’s next rising star is someone who may be linked to George Soros. Eleni Kounalakis is the new Lieutenant Governor, and had been a top fundraiser for Hillary Clinton in 2008. She was appointed as the U.S. Ambassador to Hungary by President Obama (she shifted her support to Obama after the primaries). Eleni Kounalakis is married to Marcos Kounalakis, a former foreign correspondent, who worked for NBC radio, Newsweek, and Mutual News Moscow. He was also previously on the faculty of Central European University in Hungary, which was founded by Mr. Soros.

Tucker Carlson: Man Accusing Me of Assault Called My Daughter a ‘Whore’

Creepy porn lawyer Michael Avenatti representing foul-mouthed individual

Tucker Carlson Blasts Back at Assault Accusation by CPL Avenatti After Incident With Carlson’s Children [Video]

And we all thought Michael Avenatti couldn’t go any lower…He just did.

He’s getting involved in something that happened last month that has been taken care of. The incident involves a “gay latino immigrant” who pretty much traumatized Tucker Carlson and his children during dinner at the local country club (video and statement from Carlson below). Avenatti is trying to stir up trouble:…

Last month, a man approached Tucker Carlson’s teen daughter as she was walking from the Lady’s Room at the local country club. He asked if she was with Carlson and she told him that’s her dad. The man proceeded to call her a “wh*re and a c*nt”. It all went downhill from there because Carlson and his son approached the man in the bar only to have Carlson’s son toss a glass of red wine in the man’s face. The man reciprocated by throwing red wine back. To make a long story short, the rude man was kicked out of the club for good after the club investigated the incident.

England’s New Top Prosecutor Criticised for Adopting Islamist Talking Points

England’s new chief prosecutor, Max Hill QC, has been criticised for appearing to adopt Islamist talking points.

In his former role as Independent Reviewer of Terrorism Legislation, Mr Hill met with CAGE just one month after the Muslim group’s director Muhammad Rabbani was convicted of a terrorism offence, according to the Telegraph.

The Henry Jackson Society (HJS) criticised Hill for appearing to have “aped” the rhetoric of the group — which once described Islamic State executioner ‘Jihadi John’ as an “extremely gentle” and “beautiful” man — when he told Parliament that radical Islamic terrorism should be described as “Daesh-inspired” rather than “Islamist”, because it was “fundamentally wrong” to associate terrorism with “any of the world religions”.

The HJS noted that Hill also met with Muslim Engagement and Development (MEND), who have been described as “Islamists masquerading as civil libertarians”, and the Cordoba Foundation, which was branded a “political front for the Muslim Brotherhood” by former prime minister David Cameron.

European Union President: Nationalism Will Lead to ‘Fundamental Threat’

“I wish to clearly emphasize here that I see no coincidence in the fact that in virtually all of Europe, whether openly or more discreetly, those who are enthusiastic about Brexit, those who are more or less enthusiastic about Washington’s further steps towards isolationism, those who are flirting with Vladimir Putin with increasing intensity, they are all attempting, also more or less unambiguously, to persuade us that the European Union in general, or in its current shape, has no future,” Tusk said in a speech in Poland on Saturday.

French Authorities Seize Ryanair Plane on Runway Over Unpaid Bills, 147 Passengers Kicked Off

A Ryanair plane scheduled to fly to London was seized by French authorities on Thursday over the low-cost airline’s failure to pay local authorities €525,000 euros (US$595,000) in subsidies, reports the Daily Mail.

The dispute arose after French subsidies paid to Ryanair between 2008 and 2009 in exchange for providing flights between Angouleme and London were deemed illegal. The airline had paid approximately half of the subsidies, leaving an outstanding balance.

The French civil aviation authority halted the departing Boeing 737, removing 149 London-bound passengers before seizing the plane. The de-planed travelers had to wait five hours before being able to resume transportation from the Bordeaux-Merignac airport on another Ryanair plane.

“This measure was taken as a last resort by the French authorities after several reminders and attempts to recuperate the money failed,” said the DGAC civil aviation body, adding “By this action, the government reaffirms its intention to guarantee the conditions of fair competition between airlines and between airports.”

Until Ryanair satisfies the outstanding balance, the plane “will remain immobilized,” said one official, adding that it was “regrettable” that the passengers on board the plane had to wait five hours.

Regional newspaper Charente Libre reported that the airline owes the regional authority 525,000 euros ($595,000), the paper said on its website.

French airport official Didier Villat told Sud Ouest newspaper: ‘To my knowledge it’s the first time a Ryanair plane has been seized in this way.

‘Just because we manage a little airport in Charente it doesn’t mean we are not going to defend ourselves.’

A spokesman for the DGAC, France’s aviation authority, said: ‘By this act the French state reaffirms its desire to guarantee the conditions of fair competition between airlines and its airports. —Daily Mail

Ryanair’s fleet is comprised primarily of Boeing 737-800 aircraft, which sell for more than $90 million each.

UK Blatantly Violates Norms of Decent Behavior

Russia and Venezuela are among the countries the EU, including Great Britain, has imposed sanctions on. Both nations have been targets of London’s vigorous attacks, being blamed for numerous nefarious things they have allegedly done. The UK insists that everyone play by the rules. Meanwhile, London is making mockery of commonly accepted norms in the international relations.

The government of Venezuela is seeking to eventually repatriate at least 14 tons of gold held at the Bank of England (BOE). It has recently asked to release the gold bars worth about £420 million or $550 million. This is the right and timely move as the new round of punitive measures recently imposed on Caracas by Washington showed. The Bank has refused to do so!

UK officials have reportedly insisted that Venezuela clarify its intentions for the gold. Venezuelan President Maduro is suspected by London of harboring plans to sell the national treasure for personal gains. There is also a subterfuge used to explain why the Venezuelan property has not been returned to the owner. The UK says it’s very hard to obtain insurance for the shipment to move the large cargo. Even if Venezuela gets the gold back, it’ll be a large order to use it for raising hard currency because of the new round of US sanctions announced on Nov.1. With the penalties in place, it’s impossible to sell the gold straight from the Bank of England.

The UK knows better who should be suspected of what and who can be trusted to have one’s own property returned. If it’s not theft, then what is? The rules of civilized behavior, you say? Forget about it, it’s up to London, faithfully complying with the instructions coming from Washington, to decide what’s civilized and what’s not.

UK Government Goes Full Orwellian. DNA, Fingerprint, Face, Voice: Biometric Data for Every Single Citizen in the UK

We’ve been warning about this moment since the first day TruePublica went online. We said that the government would eventually take the biometric data of every single citizen living in Britain and use it for nefarious reasons. DNA, fingerprint, face, and even voice data will be included. But that’s not all.

The excuse to be used, as ever, will be national security or terrorism, despite the huge fall in fatalities from terrorism and terror-related incidents since the 1970s.

Apart from crime-fighting, the Home Office also proposes in its long-awaited report that it will use the centralized database for vetting migrants on the streets and borders of Britain.

Not for the first time, civil rights groups argue that systems such as face recognition is faulty, dubiously legal, and collected without public consent. The outcry over Facebook, Cambridge Analytica and the EU referendum should, if nothing else, confirm that bulk data collection, used without either public debate or a legal basis is emphatically against our civil liberties.

However, the legality of the creation of a centralised biometric database will not stop a government who have been repeatedly caught breaking the law when it comes to privacy and data collection. Police, immigration, and passport agencies already collect DNA, face, and fingerprint data. On the latter, police forces across Britain now have fingerprint scanners on the streets of Britain with officers providing no more than a promise that fingerprint data taken will be erased if the person stopped is innocent of any crime.

Melbourne Stabbing ‘Inspired’ By ISIS: Police

MELBOURNE — An Australian man who set fire to a truck laden with gas cylinders in the centre of Melbourne and stabbed one person to death was inspired by the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS), but did not have direct links with the group, police said yesterday.

CDC Director: Congo’s Ebola Outbreak May Not be Containable

Robert Redfield, the director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said that people need to be prepared for the worst. Redfield said the Democratic Republic of Congo’s newest Ebola outbreak may not be containable.

Tom Inglesby, the director of the Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security in Baltimore, said that if the Ebola outbreak becomes endemic in the Congo’s North Kivu province, it shows “we’ve lost the ability to trace contacts, stop transmission chains and contain the outbreak.” In this situation, Ebola could spread, which could negatively impact both trade and travel, according to a report by Becker’s Hospital Review.

“I do think this is one of the challenges we’ll have to see, whether we’re able to contain, control and end the current outbreak with the current security situation, or do we move into the idea that this becomes more of an endemic Ebola outbreak in this region, which we’ve never really confronted,” Dr. Redfield told The Washington Post.

Scotland Makes LGBT Indoctrination Mandatory for Kids

Schools in Scotland soon will be required to teach students LGBT history to prevent “homophobia and transphobia” and to encourage exploration of their gender identity.

That’s according to the London Guardian, which says Scotland has become the first nation in the world to embed teaching about gender options in its regular school curriculum.

The move comes after lawmakers “accepted in full the recommendations of a working group led by the Time for Inclusive Education (TIE) campaign,” the report said.

“There will be no exemptions or opt-outs to the policy, which will embed LGBTI inclusive education across the curriculum and across subjects and which the Scottish government believes is a world first,” the report said.

Scotland: Schools Push Prosecution of Parents Opposing Trans-Agenda

School districts across Scotland are being warned of legal action if they continue promoting transgenderism in public schools.

The Christian Institute has written to 17 districts to notify them of “ significant concerns” about guidance written by an LGBT-rights group.

A document distributed to the schools called “Supporting Transgender Young People” has “key errors and omissions” that leave schools open to “ unnecessary legal action,” the letter states.

The guidance written by LGBT Youth Scotland urges schools to comply with students who identify as transgender in school and wish to keep that fact hidden from their parents.

It also says parents do not need to be informed if a transgender child will be sharing sleeping facilities with their own on school trips.

And if parents are “struggling” with their child’s transgender identity, staff can raise the issue with “the local authority,” the institute said.

In addition, the guidance gives “no regard to the rights of parents and does not adequately address the privacy rights of staff and other students.”

The Scottish government withdrew its endorsement of the guideline because of its “key errors.”

Simon Calvert, a spokesman for the institute, said that with the endorsement from the Scottish government withdrawn, “it’s time for councils to pull the plug on it, too, before their schools are sued by parents or pupils whose rights have been breached.”

The institute warns districts that to ignore the problem is to invite “ unnecessary legal action against schools.”

The issue affects more than half of Scotland’s local districts.

The controversy is developing quickly on the U.S. side of the Atlantic, too, with the Trump administration’s plan to define, for purposes of federal law, “sex” as biological sex, not gender identity.

Several years ago on this day, Nov 11 ‘Remembrance Day’ here in Canada, I went to a local cemetary in what was the Polish area of town. There is a large memorial to the Polish soldiers who died in WWII fighting with the Canadian army. At exactly 11am during the national minute of silence, I stood at atttention and saluted those men and thanked God for Poland.

  2. ” Leaders of Poland’s right-wing government marked the nation’s centenary with a military parade Sunday, which took place at the same time and along the same route as an annual independence day march by far-right groups.”

Who says they were far right groups? For too long Conservatives have remained silent while far left agitators and their MSM puppets smear them as exremists. Only Ann-Marie Waters has raised objections to this. It is time the rest of us added our voices to hers.

  3. “The British government has turned away a Pakistani Christian who faces mob justice after a death sentence for blasphemy against Islam was overturned, allegedly to appease “certain sections of the community” at home and Islamist terrorists who might be inclined to attack British embassies abroad.”

This is a little unfair. If Aasia Bibi were to be granted asylum by the UK, there is no way that her safety could be guaranteed. The British Government knows it and does not want to be blamed for failure if the islamic mob carries out its threat on British soil. The official figure for Pakistani muslim in the UK is 3 million but more accurate estimates put it nearer 10 million. To that must be added the Bangladeshis, various species of arab and islamic Africans who have seeped into the UK over the past 20 years or so.

That is one hell of an islamic mob and the British establishment capitulated to it many years ago. Aasia Bibi would be safer in somewhere like New Zealand.

    • “The official figure for Pakistani muslims in the UK is 3 million but more accurate estimates put it nearer 10 million.”

Ten million is just silly. That would be close to one in six people. I live here. It’s not even close. In some areas they might be somewhere between 33% and 50%, but not in the country as a whole.

This type of remark should not be thrown around lightly. There are already a great number of people that look at counter jihad as lunatics. Saying that Pakistanis in Britain are 10 million fits that description. It hurts the long-term goals of counter-jihad.

      • Really, Mr. Tono?
Do you refute the significant change in British culture from “just 10 million Muslims into the UK”?
We can argue all day long about the “percentage of Muslims.”
What is not arguable is the catastrophic change in the culture of the UK and the incredible cowardice of its political leaders.

        • I do not refute that they cause change nor I say that most of them should not be forced to leave.

I just said 10 million is a very bad estimate and it paints counter jihad as a lunatic movement.

  4. Government officials arrested a bishop of the “underground” Chinese Catholic Church on Friday, sentencing him without trial to a period of “isolation and indoctrination” following the signing of an accord between the Vatican and the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).

What are they going to dom enrol him into an American university or a British primary school?

  5. Dhimmitude: UK Turns Away Pakistani Christian to Appease ‘Sections of the Community’, Islamist Terrorists

The reasons given for refusing her asylum skirt about the reality, although the first one comes close. Our ‘government’ knows that in the UK Asia Bibi would be in as much or more danger here than in Pakistan and would require 24/365 armed protection for her and also extensive precautions to try to avoid large scale collateral damage from the depredations of our imported and home grown Pakistani barbarians. In this case that poor woman would indeed be safer in a country far less enriched and not afflicted with a fully Dhimmified government.

  6. Re: Dhimmitude: UK turns away Pakistani Christian…

This is of course Asia Bibi, and I have rarely been so ashamed of my country. More practically, she would probably be safer in the US.

  7. Dymphna has often written on the tendency of Scandinavians to admit low-IQ, high crime, dysfunctional third world people like the Somalis into their country. The Swedes in Minnesota have carried this tendency with them, voting in large numbers for Muslims and anti-American immigrants as public officials.

Here is an article detailing that tendency:
    https://vdare.com/articles/ag-keith-ellison-and-rep-ilhan-omar-minnesota-muslims-exploiting-suicidal-scandinavians

    • The Swedes get singled out a lot but I think it’s unfair. Yes, Scandinavians are importing low-IQ, high crime, third world muslims. But I don’t see how their behavior is much different than the Brits, French, Germans, Americans, etc.

US states like New Jersey or New York, which have very low populations of Americans with Scandinavian descent, have higher percentages of Muslims than Minnesota.

I live next door to Maine and get over there now and again. Cities like Portland and Lewiston have quite a few Somalis. Never once met anyone of Swedish or Norwegian descent up there though. Someone else is inviting them all in. And the local Maine yankees are just as happy to vote for muslims as the Minnesota Scandis are.

Here in New Hampshire it’s next to impossible to find anyone with a Scandinavian background. We’ve managed to acquire a few thousand Somalis though. I don’t think any have been elected to office yet but last Tuesday, the election where NH Republicans surrendered both the state House and Senate, we elected 27 year old Safiya Wazir, a muslim woman from Afghanistan, to the state House. So, we got that going for us.

  8. Today I read news all day about brazen Muslims from Australia. Now they are outraged by the headlines, they demand an apology from the Prime Minister.
    Grievance , tantrum, indignation …
It seems to me that the descendants of the British criminals gave them too much will.

    • Are you serious? “The descendants of the British criminals”? Is that your understanding of how Australia came to be? How about all those “criminals” in Russia who were expelled to the gulags? Were they criminals??

      • In any case, I did not think of it myself. By the way, I came across something on this subject from English literature. I do not remember already. But I read about it in childhood-adolescence.

        • Perhaps it is preferable to read history rather than literature. Whatever the case, it is crucial to understand history. Surely, as a Russian, you know how often Russian history has been ignored or misunderstood.

If you would understand the founding of Australia, find a used copy of Robert Hughes definitive work, The Fatal Shore: The epic of Australia’s founding

Here’s a brief editorial from the Amazon page:

Digging deep into the dark history of England’s infamous efforts to move 160,000 men and women thousands of miles to the other side of the world in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, Hughes has crafted a groundbreaking, definitive account of the settling of Australia.

Tracing the European presence in Australia from early explorations through the rise and fall of the penal colonies, and featuring 16 pages of illustrations and 3 maps, The Fatal Shore brings to life the incredible true history of a country we thought we knew.

Oz is unique among any of the English-speaking countries. Not even Ireland suffered as much.

  9. About “French” presidents Macron attack on nationalism as a “treason”. First of all treason to whom? Second if he’s so strongly against nationalism is he the right person to speak on commemoration to people fallen in Great war? I mean his vision embraces “united Europe”,something that French fallen soldiers didn’t fight for, if my memory serves me well. They fought for NATION of France.Shameful how he twists history just to attack people who’s politics he doesn’t agree with and whose politics don’t fit in his agenda. It’s going to be interesting and extremely entartaining to watch downfall of this fullish political nobody. His appetites are far bigger than his rear end.

P.S. Found this little expression of “gratitude” from this french “journalist” on GP

  10. Boy Toy forgets that there wasn’t much nationalism in France from 1940-5 when they were occupied by the Germans. Of course, there was the Resistance and they were to be honored, but they were outnumbered by the collaborators. Macron even suggested they should honor Petain.
