Black Police Group Issues Statement Defending Colin Kaepernick
Amid a backdrop of protests and boycotts, a black police union has come to the defense of controversial Nike pitchman and original anthem protester Colin Kaepernick.
In a letter published on Wednesday, Sonia Y.W. Pruitt, a police lieutenant in Maryland and chairperson of the National Black Police Association, wrote a on behalf of her organization and in support of Kaepernick.
In contrast to other police organizations — such as the National Association of Police Organizations (NAPO) — who have boycotted Nike. Pruitt’s letter clearly stated that the NBPA thinks Kaepernick’s cause should be embraced by law enforcement.

Breaking: Apple Quietly Removes InfoWars Official App
ChiCom-owned Apple trying to memory hole Alex Jones
Apple has quietly removed the Infowars Official App from its popular Apple App Store.
The tech company confirmed to Buzzfeed News that the app was no longer available for download in its store, but declined to give a statement.
Apple told Buzzfeed Friday that Infowars’ App violated its content guidelines, but did not appear to specify what the offending content was. As of writing, Infowars has not received a notice from Apple about the app’s termination from its store.
This comes a day after Twitter announced it would also banned Jones and Infowars after the radio host dared to confront his censors in Washington DC earlier this week, as Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey testified to Congress about censorship.
The Infowars Official App dominated CNN and other media outlets in Apple’s App Store last month after the company along with Youtube and Facebook removed Alex Jones and Infowars from their platforms.

BuzzFeed Writer Admits Lobbying Twitter to Ban Alex Jones
Charlie Warzel flagged ‘offensive’ video and Twitter terminated Jones’ account
BuzzFeed senior technology writer Charlie Warzel admitted that he lobbied Twitter to ban Alex Jones and got his wish shortly after.
Jones was permanently banned by Twitter yesterday for being mean to CNN’s senior media reporter Oliver Darcy during a confrontation in Washington, DC.
“I reached out to twitter — independently of anyone — to inquire about one of yesterday’s tweets from AJ,” tweeted Warzel, adding that he “eventually got a response.”
This could only have been the video in which Jones confronts Darcy, the video that got him banned.
Twitter then informed Warzel they were going to ban Jones and made him agree to an embargo before reporting the news.
In other words, Warzel abused his platform to pressure Twitter into terminating Jones’ account and they duly complied.
This is yet another example of a mainstream media corporation lobbying Big Tech to have its competition shut down.

College Removes All Uniforms With Nike Logo to Protest Kaepernick Ad
Following Nike’s controversial endorsement deal with former NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick, a private Missouri college is removing all uniforms bought from Nike that contain the brand’s logo, reports the Associated Press.
“If Nike is ashamed of America, we are ashamed of them” said College of the Ozarks President Jerry C. Davis, adding “We also believe that those who know what sacrifice is all about are more likely to be wearing a military uniform than an athletic uniform.”

Deep State Mole in White House Boasts of Sabotaging Trump
A senior official in the Trump administration supposedly admitted in an “anonymous” New York Times piece that he or she, and many other top figures, are deliberately conspiring to sabotage the president’s agenda, an agenda that the American people voted for in the 2016 election. The supposed writer even suggested that members of Trump’s Cabinet had considered calling him crazy and removing him under the 25th Amendment. Assuming the Times is not lying, which is not necessarily a good assumption considering the left-wing paper’s long history of lies, the op-ed confirms once again the existence of a subversive “Deep State” that will defy its own boss — and the American people who constitutionally elected him — to advance a globalist agenda that is unconstitutional and was soundly rejected by voters at the polls. Trump, though, suggested he would be getting the last laugh…
The agenda of the Deep State swamp and its media allies, Trump said, is about “open borders,” allowing America to be overrun with “disaster and crime.” Because Trump opposes those things, “they don’t like Donald Trump,” the president continued. “And I don’t like them, because they’re very dishonest people,” he said. “Remember this also, about the New York Times: When I won, they were forced to apologize to their subscribers. They wrote a letter of apology — it was the first time anybody has ever done it — because they covered the election incorrectly. So if the failing New York Times has an anonymous editorial — can you believe it? ‘Anonymous,’ meaning gutless — a gutless editorial.” He also slammed the “Deep State” and suggested that Americans would win the battle against it in the end…
More than a few prominent voices aside from Trump argued that officials at the New York Times had probably written the op-ed themselves. Author, documentary maker, and speaker Dinesh D’Souza, who was maliciously prosecuted by the Obama administration in what was widely seen as Banana Republic-style retaliation, was among the many voices arguing that the increasingly discredited newspaper likely produced the piece on its own before making up a cover story to publish it. “Just read the anonymous @nytimes article and it’s blindingly obvious it’s an in-house product written not by any Trump official but by a professional writer at the newspaper itself,” D’Souza wrote on Twitter. “This is the very definition of #FakeNews.”

Revelations about Noor’s past were introduced by Hennepin County prosecutors on Wednesday in response to a motion by defense attorneys to dismiss the third-degree murder and manslaughter charges filed against him in Damond’s death.

Google Removes ‘Gunbroker’ From App Store
Google informed GunBroker.com on September 3 that its mobile app would be blocked from the app store Google Play.
Google explained the decision to block the app in an email obtained by Breitbart News:

After review, GunBroker.com, com.gunbroker.android has been suspended and removed from Google Play due to a policy violation.
Issue: Violation of Dangerous Products policy.

Google Play is the way the vast majority of Android smartphone users download apps.
The suspension of the GunBroker app comes less than a month after Shopify banned websites that sell commonly owned semiautomatic weapons. It also comes just months after numerous gun controls were instituted by financial institutions and credit processors like Citibank, Bank of America, Stripe, and Inuit, among others.
Not-tech giants have also gotten into the gun control fad. On September 4, 2018, Breitbart News reported that Levi Strauss was launching a million-dollar gun control campaign that includes a partnership with Michael Bloomberg-funded Everytown for Gun Safety.

Following in the footsteps of his father and grandfather, who both reached the rank of full admiral, McCain entered the US Naval Academy at Annapolis where he graduated 894th of 899. While there he earned the nickname “McNasty,” as well as hundreds of demerits every year—more than any other cadet. He was held in studied contempt by his superiors. It is well-nigh certain that he would not have graduated had it not been for his father’s rank and influence. At Pensacola, where he subsequently become a naval aviator, McCain gained a reputation as a man who partied a lot (in 1965 he married Carol Shepp, a model from Philadelphia) and who did not get on with his superiors. He was a sub-par flier, careless and reckless, prone to “push the envelope.” During the early 1960s, two of his flight missions crashed and a third collided with power lines in Spain, causing a massive regional outage. He lost four planes in all before finally being shot down over North Vietnam while bombing an electric bulb factory…

Kavanaugh Attacked for Following the Schumer-Endorsed Ginsburg Rule
WASHINGTON, DC — Democrats are attacking Judge Brett Kavanaugh for following the bipartisan “Ginsburg Rule” — which forbids Supreme Court nominees from giving any hint of how they might vote on any issue that could come before the Court — while a new Judicial Crisis Network (JCN) ad shows Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) praising the rule that Democrats are now attacking.
Justice Bryon White was a conservative-leaning moderate jurist appointed in 1962 by President John F. Kennedy, a Democrat. When White retired in 1993, another Democrat, President Bill Clinton, nominated Judge Ruth Bader Ginsburg to replace him.
At the time Ginsburg was serving on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit, the same prestigious court on which Kavanaugh has served since 2006. Ginsburg was well-known as a strident liberal and the former general counsel of the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), whose appointment would move the Court to the left.
There were hot-button issues in 1993, just as there are today. Major cases on abortion, economic regulation, voting, religious liberty, and free speech were all in the news, similar to today. Some were likely to come before the Supreme Court.
Ginsburg emphasized to the Senate Judiciary Committee that the rule of law and the concept of due process require that a judge not be biased on any issue to come before his or her court, that the judge be impartial and listen to arguments on both sides with an open mind.
“A judge sworn to decide impartially can offer no forecasts” of how they would vote, she said, setting forth the “Ginsburg Rule” (also called the Ginsburg Standard or the Ginsburg Principle). In context, Ginsburg told the committee:

Liberal Chuck Todd Says Media Should “Fight Back”
Chuck Todd clearly preferred the “good old days” for liberals in the media, when they had the entire field to themselves. At one time, they had all three major TV networks, the major newsmagazines, most of the major daily newspapers, and they controlled book publishing.
In a recent article in The Atlantic, Todd, the moderator of NBC’s iconic Meet the Press program, said it is time to “fight back” against the “campaign to destroy the legitimacy of the American news media.” To liberal “journalists” such as Todd, the liberal political position is the default “correct” position, and any viewpoints that are contrary to that worldview are not just wrong, but don’t even deserve to be considered.

Saturn’s Hexagon Could be an Enormous Tower
Six-sided vortex may actually be hundreds of kilometers tall
Discovered by NASA’s Voyager mission in 1981, Saturn’s hexagon is striking to behold, and one new study suggests that this six-sided vortex may actually be hundreds of kilometers tall.
After the Voyager mission pushed human exploration far out into the solar system and, subsequently, discovered Saturn’s hexagon whirling at a low altitude, the Cassini spacecraft returned to the ringed planet in 2004 and continued these observations. The spacecraft even spotted a high-altitude vortex at the planet’s south pole, but this vortex was not hexagonal.
Now, as part of a new study using Cassini data, researchers have discovered, for the first time, a high-altitude vortex forming at Saturn’s north pole. This vortex was spotted as the planet’s northern hemisphere approached summertime. And it has a hexagonal shape like the famous hexagon originally discovered closer to the planet’s surface. These findings suggest that the high-altitude vortex may be influenced by the low-altitude vortex, potentially forming an immense, tall tower, according to a statement.

Sporting Goods Store to Remove All Nike Products — ‘Colin, You Just Don’t Know What Sacrifice Is’
A Colorado Springs, Colorado, sporting goods store owner has decided to stop carrying Nike gear in his store in response to Nike’s partnership with former NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick.
The store, Prime Time Sports, is owned by Stephen Martin who was inspired by the Nike slogan to “just do it,” according to an interview with local KSN News.
The store currently has an entire wall, dedicated to Nike gear, and Martin is unsure if his store will be able to stay open without the athletic wear giant’s products.
“Pretty sure I won’t survive without them,” Martin said. “I gotta do what I gotta do. I’m just doing it.”
Martin’s decision came days after Kaepernick tweeted an image of himself, with the words, “Believe in something. Even if it means sacrificing everything.” He accompanied the image with the hashtag #JustDoIt
Kaepernick’s tweet signaled the beginning of the Nike ad campaign, featuring the former NFL quarterback who became famous for kneeling during the national anthem at his games.
While many conservatives have called for a boycott against Nike, it remains to be seen if the brand will feel the heat of conservative scorn.
Martin’s plan, however, is two-fold. He is not only removing the brand from his store; he is also getting rid of all the Nike products in his wardrobe at home, saying that he was surprised at how much he personally owned.
Local news also interviewed the owner of the store next door, Jordan Park, who told reporters that he appreciates that his neighbor is “doing something.”
“I take no stance on it but I do appreciate that the store next door, Prime Time Sports is doing something about it,” Park said.
The Prime Time Sports owner isn’t just making this bold move against Nike because of his own experiences. He believes that it’s important to draw attention to who the real heroes are.
Martin told the story about his father-in-law, who was a POW and was forced to watch his fellow soldiers be beaten and even killed, and he wasn’t able to intervene.
“He said the hardest part for me was watching his fellow soldiers get beat up and killed in front of him and he couldn’t defend them because it would have cost him his life,” Martin said.
“So Colin, you don’t know what sacrifice is, you just don’t know what it is, in my opinion.”
Currently, Martin plans to deeply discount the merchandise and not replace the stock once it is gone.

Tesla Stock Closes Down 6% After Top Executives Resign and Elon Musk Smokes Weed on Video

Yesterday, the founder of Infowars, Alex Jones, confronted Republican Senator Marco Rubio during an interview in Washington DC, over his decision to ignore the censorship of conservatives on social media. While we don’t always agree with the tactics employed by Jones, we do agree that Republican lawmakers need to take the censorship of conservatives on social media seriously.
Today, after months of liberals calling on Twitter and Facebook to delete the accounts of Alex Jones and Infowars, Twitter caved and announced that they are permanently suspending both the Infowars and Alex Jones accounts on their platform. The tweet cited the videos of Jones’ confrontation with a CNN host, as the reason, saying that he violated their “abusive behavior policy”.
Twitter added to their thread of comments that they would also be evaluating “reports” they receive regarding other accounts “potentially associated” with Alex Jones or Infowars. They threatened to take action if any content that violates their rules is “reported” or if other accounts are utilized in an attempt to circumvent their ban.
Twitter didn’t waste any time suspending the account of the brilliant, and wildly popular, conservative, Paul Joseph Watson, who, although he doesn’t mention it anymore in his profile on Twitter, was previously(?) an editor at Infowars. After Watson posted the video of Alex Jones’ non-violent confrontation with CNN’s Oliver Darcy, who lobbied Youtube and Facebook to shut down Infowars, he was given a 12-hour suspension by Twitter. This is how Silicon Valley bullies operate. They give you a certain time period with which you are able to reflect on your conservative views. If, in that time frame, you are unable to see the errors in your thought process, the next punishment will be much more severe. And if, in the end, you find you are simply unable to conform to the liberal thought process, you will be permanently removed from their social media platforms, regardless of the number of followers you may have. Paul Joseph Watson has just under a million followers who regularly visit his account.

UNC Prof Charged With Assault at Confederate Statue Toppling
University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill police charged a professor with simple assault during the toppling of a Confederate statue on campus, the school told Campus Reform on Wednesday.
According to the arrest report obtained by Campus Reform, Dr. Dwayne Dixon, Teaching Assistant Professor at UNC’s Asian Studies Department, received a criminal summons for simple assault and warning of trespass on August 30 after the “Silent Sam” Confederate statue toppling on August 20. Dixon is due in court on Sept. 27.

United States Facebook Users Change Their ‘Relationship’ With Social Media
Younger users are much more likely to have deleted the Facebook app from their phone and adjusted their privacy settings as opposed to older social media users. And less time on social media leads to more mental stability and a greater feeling of self-worth.
A study conducted by the University of Copenhagen found that many people suffer from “Facebook envy,” with those who abstained from using the popular site reporting that they felt more satisfied with their lives. “When we derive a sense of worth based on how we are doing relative to others, we place our happiness in a variable that is completely beyond our control,” Dr. Tim Bono, author of When Likes Aren’t Enough explained in Healthista. Breaking away from social media helps people focus on themselves as opposed to the filtered and photoshopped images of “Instagram models.”
Stina Sanders, a former model who has 107,000 followers on Instagram, has explained to The Independent how social media sometimes makes her feel like she’s being left out. “I know from my experience I can get FOMO (fear of missing out) when I see my friend’s photos of a party I didn’t go to, and this, in turn, can make me feel quite lonely and anxious,” she told The Independent.
A study published in the American Journal of Epidemiology that assessed 5,208 subjects found that overall, regular use of Facebook had a negative impact on an individual’s wellbeing.

I, myself, had one unlikely brush with Bob Woodward. It happened in the early spring of 2013, when, while squiring my Danish friend and then-editor Lars Hedegaard around town on a visit of his to D.C., I found myself sitting across a Washington dinner table from Woodward.
Recently, Lars had miraculously survived an assassination attempt outside his home in a suburb of Copenhagen and was enjoying, if that’s the word, an intense burst of interest in his affairs in new quarters. In some cases, I couldn’t decide whether the interest was genuine or rubber-necking.
The dinner Lars was invited to was at Michael and Barbara Ledeen’s house. I had met Michael before but did not know the other guests, and was simply there as Lars’ companion. When the party had assembled, it included, besides the Ledeens, Lars and me, a daughter of the Ledeen’s (the one who worked with or would work with Gen. Flynn in Afghanistan, I am guessing), Richard Perle, Ron and Allis Radosh (I know, I know), and Bob Woodward.
There was something surreal about suddenly and unexpectedly being within pass-the-butter range of Historic Media Figure Woodward, which I tried to express in a syndicated column I wrote after the evening. It was Lars’ night — he also wanted to raise the profile of his newspaper, Dispatch International — but as concern with his personal near-death experience did not seem to extend too deeply into the Islamic war for Europe, abetted by European elites (and covered by Dispatch International), the conservation soon flowed back into channels familiar from any “media roundtable.”
But I wanted to ask a question or two that never make it onto the networks or cable. For starters, I really wanted to ask Woodward the Nixon-Slayer about Obama’s problematic (read: fraudlulent) identity docs. Had the Intrepid One ever actually examined them for himself?…

Italy: Salvini Accused of Being ‘Subversive’ In Reaction to Ruling
Interior minister said League was victim of political justice
(ANSA) — Rome, September 7 — The Magistratura Democratica (MD) association of left-leaning Italian magistrates and the leader of the opposition centre-left Democratic Party (PD) on Friday accused Interior Minister Matteo Salvini of being subversive over his angry reaction to a ruling okaying the seizure of funds from his League party.
In an interview published in Friday’s La Stampa, Deputy Premier Salvini said the League was the victim of political justice like in Turkey after the ruling over the confiscation of funds over electoral-reimbursement fraud amounting to around 49 million euros in the 2008-2010 period, before he took over the helm of the party. “The words that the interior minister continues to use with respect to the judiciary are extremely serious and subversive,” said PD leader Maurizio Martina.
“The are against the State and the Constitution that he was sworn-in on. “No one is above the law, not even him, despite his thirst for power”. MD also said Salvini’s comments were subversive and “intimidatory”.

Italy: Job-Loss Risk if Sunday Trading Limited — Big Retailers
M5S, League aiming to roll back liberalisation of shop hours
(ANSA) — Rome, September 7 — Domenico Gradara, the president of the Federdistribuzione association that represents big retailers in Italy, on Friday warned of possible job losses if the ruling 5-Star Movement-League majority stops Sunday trading in Italy.
The M5S and the League are looking at rolling back a liberalization of trading hours introduced by ex-premier Mario Monti’s 2011-2013 executive, with trading on Sundays and national holidays possibly being halted, except for in December.
Gradara said that Sunday was the second-best day of the week for revenues and warned that “tens of thousands of jobs” could be lost if business were stopped on that day. Consumer groups are also against the end of Sunday trading but the proposal has the support of small retailers and religious groups.

Authorities from the UK and U.S. are undertaking joint operations at airports in attempts to tackle the growing problem of child female genital mutilation (FGM) amongst their Muslim and migrant communities.
Operating at New York City’s JFK Airport and airports across Britain, police and border patrol officers look for signs of abuse, including girls having trouble walking or standing — signs associated with the procedure where the most severe forms of FGM involve the total removal of the clitoris, labia, and the intentional narrowing of the vaginal orifice.

LONDON (AP) — British police say a man suffered minor injuries when a woman wielding a foot-long (30 centimetres) knife chased passers-by through a northern England town centre.
The South Yorkshire Police force said a woman was in custody after Saturday’s incident in Barnsley, 150 miles (245 kilometres) north of London. The force says counter-terrorism detectives are supporting the investigation as police seek a motive.

I have been circulating among you since the first day of June, asking strange questions. Now it is time for me to tell you what I learned about your institution, and its current predicament.
My research project for the summer was to answer this question: What is German pressthink, and how does it differ from the American kind? (I had a fellowship at the Bosch Foundation that allowed me to do that, while living in Berlin.) “Pressthink” is a term I invented, so don’t try to look it up. It means the common sense of the journalism profession, the way your occupation “thinks” about its task. But also the ideas German society has about what a free press is for.
Pressthink in the U.S.
For thirty years I have been writing about pressthink in the United States — and criticizing the performance of American journalists when I thought they needed that. My method for studying German pressthink was to talk to people here and try to make sense of what they told me. Early in my fellowship I was interviewed by Deutschlandradio Kultur, and they asked me: how will you know if your findings are scientifically correct?
Actually, I don’t know. This is an open letter to German journalists, not a research paper for my academic colleagues. Where I am wrong, someone in Germany will probably tell me, and my Twitter feed will light up with complaints. I’m ready for that.
These thoughts are based on the 53 interviews I did for this project (List here.) I tried to talk to people who were differently placed around the German press. I interviewed bosses and workers in German newsrooms. I talked to trainees and freelancers, teachers of journalists and professors who study the German media. Because I am interested in institutions — which are “frozen thought” — I went to the Press Council in Berlin, and the programming council (the oversight body) for one of the regional public broadcasters, RBB. I talked to New German Media Makers (Neue deutsche Medienmacher), an activist group that is trying to change German journalism. I interviewed two former editors of Bild, and the founder of a watch blog about Bild. And many others.

New Genoa Viaduct by November 2019 — Italian Governour
Genoa will have a new viaduct to replace the Morandi bridge that collapsed in August, claiming 43 lives, late next year, Liguria Governour Giovanni Toti said on Friday.
“Genoa will have a new bridge over the Polcevera river by October 2019, November at the latest,” Toti told the press conference presenting the project for the new viaduct by world renowned Italian architect Renzo Piano.

Number of Married People in Italy Plunges — ISTAT
Statistics agency reports big rise in divorced, unmarried
(ANSA) — Rome, September 6 — ISTAT said Thursday that the number of people in wedlock in Italy has plunged over the last three decades. The statistics agency said that the percentage of men who are married in the 25-34 age group dropped from 51.5% in 1991 to 19.1% this year and the rate declined from 69.5% to 34.3% for women. In the 45-54 age bracket almost a quarter of men have never married, while almost 18% of women are unmarried.
It said the number of divorced people increased fourfold in all age groups, going from around 376,000 in 1991 to over 1.671 million.
The agency say same-sex civil unions constituted in Italy and those registered here after being celebrated abroad amounted to 13,300, 0.02% of the resident population.
It said 68.3% of these couples were male.

Poland: Karczewski: The EU Should Learn From Mistakes
Polish Senate speaker at Krynica Economic Forum
(ANSA) — KRYNICA ZDROJ, SEPT.6- “The European Union is at a crossroads: we need to think not only about successes, but also mistakes, from which we have to draw the consequences”, said the Polish Senate speaker, Stanislaw Karczewski, during a conference focusing on ‘Europe — yesterday, today, tomorrow’ during the 28th Krynica Zdròj Economic Forum (Poland). The Forum was also attended by the EU Commissioner for Education, Culture, Youth and Citizenship, Tibor Navracsics (from Hungary), Latvia’s foreign minister Edgars Rinkevics, Lithuania’s economy minister Virginijus Sinkevicius, and the Romanian Senate speaker Calin Popescu Triceanu.
As for unity within the EU, some talks focused on Brexit, which is considered a mistake by all the participants. Talking about the future, the Polish Senate speaker Karczewski underlined “the negative aspects of two-speed Europe and the reduced concern for security, in a broad sense”. According to Navracsics, the positive aspects of the EU include “the achievement of economic well-being”. “Moreover — he added — we can not forget the Erasmus program, which has allowed many young people to go abroad, raising their awareness about European citizenship”.

Polish, German Experts to Discuss War Reparations
Polish and German experts were on Thursday set to discuss the sensitive topic of war reparations at a conference in Warsaw, according to a report.
The conference was scheduled to be held after Polish Foreign Minister Jacek Czaputowicz and Germany’s Sigmar Gabriel in January agreed that the potentially divisive issue between the two countries should be tackled by experts on both sides, the Rzeczpospolita daily has reported.

Quickly Growing Islamic Party Wants More Media Control in the Netherlands
The predominantly Islamic Denk party announced that it would like to see more control of the media in the Netherlands, newspaper De Telegraaf reports.
According to Selcuk Öztürk, a Dutch-Turksih MP of the Denk party, journalists are like “a fourth power, that can do what they want”. He vows for “more countervailing power against the media”.

Reports of ‘Extremists’ In Chemnitz Likely to be Misinformation — German Intel
Minister President of Saxony Michael Kretschmer, earlier this week, condemned media reports about the situation in the city during the protests, stressing that “there was no mob, there was no hunt and there was no pogrom in Chemnitz.”
According to the police data, at least 4,500 gathered at the rallies in Chemnitz against the German government’s current migration policy.
The mass protests in the Saxon city were caused by the death of a German citizen Daniel Hillig, who had been stabbed to death on August, 26, allegedly — by migrants. Two suspects — an Iraqi and Syrian, were detained following the murder, while on Tuesday a court approved a warrant for the arrest of a third suspect in the case.

Right-Wing AfD Party Keeps Growing and is Now Most Popular in East Germany
Alternative for Germany, the anti-establishment party, is the most popular party in East Germany a new poll reveals.
AfD promises to control immigration into Germany and has become a formidable opponent to Germany’s Government, which is a coalition between the centre-right and centre-left parties.
According to the new poll, Angela Merkel’s CDU has dropped 5 points to 23 per cent whilst the AfD has jumped by the same amount to 27 per cent in East Germany. Left-wing SPD has also dropped to 4th place with only 15 per cent.

Right-Wing Sweden Democrats May Win Sunday Election by a Landslide — Expert
Scientist Marcus Oscarsson predicts that the Sweden Democrats could receive nearly one third of the vote, Fria Tider reports.
Oscarsson, known from Sweden’s TV4, thinks the right-wing Democrats may receive 31.4 per cent of the votes at best.
The party, which is led by Jimmie Åkesson, has already become the largest party in the latest Yougov survey. Based on this survey, state scientist Oscarsson, calculated what Åkesson’s party could at best be able to get.

Social Democrat Candidate Claims Islamic Law More Important Than Swedish Law
The Swedish Social Democrats have had to remove a parliamentary candidate from their national election list only days before the vote after they claimed Islamic law was more important than Swedish law.
The candidate, who was running in the municipality of Karlshamn in the south of the country, was deselected by the party after he was reported as making several controversial statements on the topic of Islam, Swedish broadcaster SVT reports.

State Visit by Indian President Seeks to Expand Ties With Czech Businesses
Indian President, Ram Nath Kovind, is meeting with both the Czech President and Prime Minister this Friday.

Steve Bannon’s ‘Movement’ Enlists Italy’s Most Powerful Politician
The most powerful figure in Italy’s new populist government signed up on Friday with Steve Bannon, President Trump’s former chief strategist, to help bring about a continentwide populist takeover during European Parliamentary elections next spring.

Sweden Election: Police Investigate After Islamist Threat to Execute Populist Leader’s Family
A part-Arabic language threat to behead the leader of a Swedish anti-mass migration party leader has triggered a police investigation, just days before the nation goes to the polls in a general election.
The threat, which was reproduced in Swedish newspapers Friday, had a letterhead with the flag of the Islamic State group, and made a threat to Sweden Democrats leader Jimmie Åkesson, and his four-year-old son.

Sweden: Forced and Child Marriage Reports Increasing
The National Suppression of Honour Prevention of Childhood and Forced Marriage, a hotline set up for victims, reported that the number of calls from victims wanting out of forced or child marriages has steadily increased in Sweden.
The organisation’s hotline has seen 101 children and young people wanting out of forced marriages from 2014, when the organisation was established, to 2018, SVT reports.

Sweden Protest: Left-Wingers Clash With Police at Nationalist Rally Days Before Tense Vote

‘The EU Could Die’ — Macron Allies Fear Consequences of Globalist Collapse, Populist Rise in 2019
The French establishment fear “Europe could die” following the EU Parliament elections next year, with President Emmanuel Macron’s En Marche! polling poorly and conservative-leaning populists looking set to make huge gains.
According to an Ifop-Fiducial survey for Paris Match, Sud Radio, and CNews, the French leader’s party is polling at 20 percent, down three percent compared to June 2017.

Kosovo: Germany Buck Against Land Swap With Serbia Proposal
Minister Roth says it would open Pandora’s box of ethnic accuses
(ANSA) — BRUXELLES, 04 SET — “Dear friends in #Kosovo & #Serbia, to redraw the borders will not solve any problems. Such a move would open a Pandora’s box of ethnic recriminations”, German Minister of State for European Affairs Michael Roth wrote on Twitter. Germany opposes to the proposal of swapping territory between Pristina and Belgrade as a solution to a bilateral deal between the two countries.

Serbia: Chinese Zijin Offers Deal to Acquire Canadian Nevsun
China mining giant expands operations in the Balkan country
(ANSA) — BELGRADE, SEPTEMBER 7 — The Chinese Zijin Mining Group, which became the strategic partner in the Serbian RTB Bor mine and smelter complex at the end of August, has agreed to buy the Canadian mining company Nevsun Resources, which is operating a developing project at the Cukaru Peki copper mine in Bor, in Serbia.
Nevsun informed that it entered a definitive take-over agreement with Zijin Mining, which offered to acquire the Canadian company for 1.41 billion dollars (1.2 billion euros).
The offer has to be accepted by Nevsun shareholders. “Nevsun’s Board of Directors unanimously recommends that Nevsun shareholders tender their shares to accept the offer,” a press release from the Canadian company reads.

The official Syrian state media has put out an alert warning that “dark brown skinned” English and French-speaking men have been spotted offloading gas cylinders in the last major “rebel” stronghold of Idlib, in preparation for another chemical attack which the controlled media and western governments will blame on the Assad government.

While Syria seemed to have dropped from the Western media’s radar over the past months as the Syrian Army and its Russian and Iranian allies made rapid gains, multiple huge developments this week have returned the war to center stage in Washington and the dangerous rhetoric of escalation.
In just the last 24 hours alone, we’ve learned:
Trump has reportedly done a 180 shift, departing from his prior statements of “bring our troops home” made only months ago, and has approved “an indefinite military and diplomatic effort in Syria” according to a bombshell Washington Post report.
Russia has put the US military on notice, telling American commanders that Russian and Syrian forces are prepared to attack At Tanf — a key US garrison along the Syrian-Iraq border.
A top US Syria policy representative says there’s “lots of evidence” chemical weapons are being prepared by the Syrian Army for use in its impending Idlib ground assault.
Perhaps most alarming concerning all of the above is that the threatened US “response” and rhetoric over potential future use of chemical weapons in Idlib is dramatically escalating by the day…
But it’s hugely significant that top State Department envoy for Syria, Jim Jeffrey, actually invoked US intelligence for the first time, though not providing any evidence for the claim of Assad’s supposed chemical preparations underway.
It appears that should Russia continue its ongoing bombing campaign of al-Qaeda held Idlib, and should the Syrian Army ground operation commence, we are in for a likely quick escalation, with some kind of “chemical provocation” claimed by insurgents facing imminent defeat in Idlib.
Meanwhile Russia had previously cited its own intelligence in contradiction of US claims, over a week ago saying that Syrian armed groups in Idlib are preparing for a staged chemical provocation, which Moscow says the West will use to justify a strike against Syrian government forces.

LONDON—The Russian state has unleashed an online campaign of false information after Britain published proof that the Novichok nerve agent attacks in Salisbury were carried out by Russian assassins.
The British government has identified dozens of false narratives created by Russia and its proxies that push back against allegations that agents of the Russian GRU military intelligence service are behind a chemical attack on UK soil, according to The Times of London.
The narratives being spun range from the relatively rational to the ludicrous.

China Just Tested Several Dozen Hypersonic Missiles the US Can’t Defend Against
China has launched ahead of the United States with “several dozen successful hypersonic missile tests that Washington cannot ignore,” Missile Defense Agency commander Lieutenant General Samuel Greaves warned Tuesday.
“The Chinese have now done several dozen successful hypersonic (missile) tests… we just cannot (ignore),” Greaves briefed a group of government officials held by the Missile Defense Advocacy Alliance.
Under Secretary of Defense for Management and Engineering Michael Griffin also acknowledged that China had alarmingly carried out dozens of successful hypersonic missile tests and warned that Russia was not far behind the Chinese in hypersonic missile development.
“Hypersonic missiles [are] being developed by both China and Russia. We are concerned about both … When they have done dozens of tests we have not done that is a concern,” he said.
In August, China allegedly showed one the tests via footage from a new missile test that would likely make a mockery of US missile defense systems in battle. The experimental “waverider” vehicle, China’s first, rides the shock waves generated during hypersonic flight. It could one day carry multiple nuclear warheads to North America undetected…
Admiral Harry Harris, former head of the US Pacific Command and now the ambassador to South Korea, said in February, “China’s hypersonic weapons development outpaces ours… we’re falling behind.”
To make up for lost time, the Pentagon awarded Lockheed Martin with approximately $1.5 billion in contracts this summer to develop a hypersonic missile for the Air Force.

‘Brazilian Trump’ Stabbed by Left-Wing Terrorist During Rally
Election frontrunner seriously injured after attack
The man they call the “Brazilian Trump” was stabbed by a left-wing terrorist during a campaign rally yesterday just a month before Brazil’s election.
Video footage of the incident shows election frontrunner Jair Bolsonaro being led through a crowd on the shoulders of supporters in Juiz de Fora city before a man stabs him in the front.
Police have charged 40-year-old Adelio Bispo de Oliveira in connection with the attack. The culprit is a socialist whose Facebook page featured anti-Bolsonaro posts, according to police. Bispo de Oliveira claims he was on ‘a mission from God’.
Although it was originally thought that Bolsonaro had escaped serious injury, his son later said that Bolsonaro arrived at hospital “almost dead” and lost a lot of blood.
The hospital said Mr Bolsonaro suffered a perforated intestine, describing his condition as “stable.” He will spend a week in hospital and take at least a month to recover.

Fifty Migrants From Ship Salvini Attempted to Ban Have ‘Disappeared’

Five hundred UK-bound migrants were ‘evacuated’ from an illegal camp on Thursday close to the French port of Dunkirk.
Riot police began destroying the bivouacs and other makeshift shelters after moving into a wood at Grande-Synthe at 7.30am.
‘It follows a court order from a Dunkirk judge in June,’ said a spokesman for the local prefecture.
‘He ruled that the camp broke the law, and that all those living there should be moved on.’

Italy: 17 Missing Diciotti Migrants May Have Been Found
Volunteers say police searching for asylum seekers
(ANSA) — Rome, September 7 — Volunteers for an association that helps asylum seekers said Friday that 17 people suspected of being among 40 migrants who went missing from a Church-run migrant centre after being transferred from the Diciotti coast guard ship have been tracked down by police in Rome. The Baobab association volunteers said the 17 were taken from the area of Rome’s Piazzale Tiburtino to the city’s immigration office to be identified. The volunteers said the police involved in the operation “confirmed that the were searching for the migrants who disembarked from the Diciotti” and who then left their migrant centre at Rocca Di Papa, south of Rome.
Some 100 Eritrean migrants were moved to the centre last week after a standoff between Interior Minister Matteo Salvini and the EU.
Salvini, who is accused of kidnapping them, kept them aboard the Diciotti for 10 days saying they would not land until the EU agreed to take them in.
In the end Catholic bishops agreed to take 100 while Ireland and Albania said they would take 20 each.

It was less than two weeks ago that we told you about the stand-off between Interior Minister Salvini and the forces arrayed against him demanding he allow the latest migrant transport ship to unload its cargo.
He relented once a commitment was made for most of the 144 to be placed in the care of other countries.
Additionally, dozens were to be taken in by the Catholic Church (we cheered that agreement where the migrants would not be a cost to the taxpayers of Italy).
Guess what?
It is those the church took in who have disappeared into Europe!
These migrants “were so in need of protection, a roof and a blanket that they decided to leave and disappear,” Salvini said on Facebook.
“This is the umpteenth confirmation that those who arrive in Italy are not skeletons fleeing war and famine,” he claimed.
The migrants were picked up by the Diciotti coastguard ship on the night of August 15th and were left stranded at sea for ten days as Salvini refused to allow the vessel to dock in an Italian port. The interior minister, who heads the anti-immigration League party, finally relented after Ireland, Albania and the Italian Catholic church agreed to lake most of them in.
The head of Catholic charity Caritas, which was hosting the migrants at its Rocca di Papa reception centre south of Rome, said it was a “voluntary departure”.
The group was not in detention, Father Francesco Soddu told Ansa news agency and suggested that they may be trying to reach other countries in Europe.

Refugees or ISIS Fighters? Cypriot Authorities Fear the Worst After Finding Incriminating Photos
Cypriot authorities suspect that ISIS fighters posing as refugees may have entered their country, a local daily reported, amid appeals to the EU to help with an influx of asylum seekers overloading the small island nation.
During a random check on asylum seekers’ mobile phones at the country’s refugee processing center, Cypriot authorities found saved photos of ‘refugees’ posing with weapons and dressed in Islamic State (formerly ISIS/ISIL) regalia, Cypriot newspaper “Politis” reported. New Calif. Law Would Enforce Corporate “Gender” Quotas
First the Left wanted to force open girls’ bathrooms to boys — now it wants to compel corporations to put women on their boards.
At issue is a bill passed by California lawmakers August 30 that would mandate that “corporate boards include at least one woman by the end of 2019 and as many as three by the end of 2021, depending on size. Companies that fail to comply could face a fine up to $300,000 from the California Secretary of State,” writes the Sacramento Bee. It’s part of “The New Chivalry” phenomenon, yet almost universally overlooked is that such proposals actually hurt women and girls.
Conservative CNSNews.com asserts that the California legislation, Senate Bill 826, is unconstitutional. “Courts have struck down gender-balance requirements for government boards,” writes the site, and also “requirements that regulated entities (such as private companies) to adopt racial or sexual quotas, or gender-balance requirements, governing their own workforces.”
Yet even liberal NBC ran an op-ed opposing the bill, writing, “Diversity is a vitally important goal, but one that the government should not mandate.” The author has it half right.
There is no evidence that diversity is beneficial at all.

Transgender Rapist Moved to Men’s Jail After Sexually Assaulting Female Inmates
A transgender person convicted of multiple rapes and sexual abuse of a child carried out sex attacks on fellow inmates within days of being remanded into a women’s prison.
Convicted at Leeds Crown Court of three rapes, Karen White, who was previously known as David Thompson and born Stephen Wood, was sent to HMP New Hall in September 2017 after authorities heard the 52-year-old identified as a woman.
The prison service has apologised after White admitted to two counts of sexual assault against two women while in prison, while a judge ordered two further charges of sex attacks on fellow inmates to remain on file.

The “Greater Male Variability Hypothesis” is not new. I recall the British historian Dr David Starkey, when he had a ‘phone-in show on LBC Radio at least ten years ago, informing a caller that notwithstanding men and women being of roughly equal intelligence, there are more geniuses and more “idiots” among men.
If I may be forgiven a name-drop, I was three years behind David at Kendal Grammar School; he was the star of the Debating Society even then. His religious ancestry, like mine, is nonconformist, but he escaped the “norm” and became a conservative.
Perhaps his turn to the right had to do with his intellectual pursuits? I’m glad to know such heretics can still get on in Britain. They might find it harder going here.
