Californians to Vote on “Radical” Plan to Break Up State Into 3 Parts
A plan to split California into multiple states — which was until recently widely regarded as a Quixotic quest with little chance of success — is finally starting to look like it could become a reality. Case in point: This week, the campaign’s backers managed to get their “radical” vision, which would divide California into three independent states, placed on the Nov. 6 ballot,according to the Los Angeles Times. Clearing this hurdle means the measure is posing the biggest threat to California’s unity in its 168-year history, Though it’s hardly the first attempt to break up the massive state: Since California was admitted to the US on Sept. 9, 1850, it has survived more than 200 breakup movements — or secede from the US entirely. The most recent attempt, spearheaded by a Butte County lawmaker, failed in 1993.

As far back as 60 years ago, those who identified themselves as Trotskyites began to drift away and claim the title of democratic socialists. They gravitated to the liberal wing of the Democrat Party. William F. Buckley, a Council on Foreign Relations member, CIA agent, and Yale Skull and Bones man had emasculated conservatism’s traditional meaning. Pennsylvania: Another Explosion Reported in Upper Bucks County
A road crew member in Milford reported running over an object that he believes exploded. He was not injured. State police and the FBI continue to investigate the rash of reported explosions in the area.
What for some began as a quirky mystery has now taken a more serious turn.
Until now, the unexplained explosions reported in rural areas of Upper Bucks and Lehigh counties during the last few months had yet to put someone directly in harm’s way.
But that changed Thursday when a member of Milford’s road crew ran over an object while mowing the lawn along Brick Tavern Road near Allentown Road, officials confirmed Friday.
The crew member said a sound followed that seemed to be an explosion, but he escaped injury.
Now the FBI and state police are investigating to see if the incident is connected to the rash of loud bangs heard throughout the area usually in the overnight hours. Police confirmed a chunk of ground where the road crew member was working was “disturbed.”
Township officials on Friday advised residents to use caution when performing roadside activities and to report anything suspicious to police.
The count of reported explosions now has eclipsed 20.
Anita Meyers, of Milford, said she ran inside her house, just around the corner from the site of Thursday’s reported blast, after she heard a loud boom Friday morning.
“This is the stuff you hear on the news — not in Milford,” Myers said. “My main concern is for the animals in the area. All the dogs and horses.”

Soros Buys up Shares in New York Times
Billionaire liberal financier and political meddler George Soros has purchased $3 million-worth of stock holdings in the publisher of the New York Times, the investor’s first such purchase in over a decade.
Soros bought 126,400 shares in the New York Times Company through Soros Fund Management LLC, his investing firm. According to a filing to the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) last month, the shares are worth $3,046,000.
According to the same filing, Soros also invested money in Tribune Media Company and in Time Warner Inc.

Suspect Arrested in Colorado Shooting; Boy Killed, 3 Injured
WESTMINSTER, Colo. (AP) — A 23-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder in a shooting that killed a boy and left three others wounded outside a suburban Denver dental office.
The boy’s mother and brother suffered life-threatening injuries Thursday afternoon. A man not related to the family also was shot in the parking lot in the city of Westminster but was less seriously wounded.
The suspect was captured about three hours after the shooting.
The Denver Post reports that he was booked into jail Friday on suspicion of first-degree murder and three counts of first-degree assault.
Officers say there is no relationship between the gunman and the victims and have not released a motive for the shooting.
Police didn’t release the any of their identities.

Wisconsin Woman Charged With Hacking Facebook to Promote Islamic State
A woman in Wisconsin was charged on Wednesday with hacking Facebook accounts on behalf of the Islamic State (ISIS).
The woman is accused of attempting to recruit and educate people on the basics of terrorism and using explosive materials.
According to a federal criminal complaint, Waheba Issa Dais is currently held in federal custody on charges of “material support or resources to a foreign terrorist organization.”

June 15, 1389: Islam Enters and Conquers Eastern Europe
Editor’s note: The following account is partially excerpted from the author’s new book, Sword and Scimitar: Fourteen Centuries of War between Islam and the West (with a foreword by Victor Davis Hanson).
Why Eastern Europeans are much more reluctant to accept Muslim migrants than their Western counterparts can be traced back to circumstances surrounding a pivotal battle that took place today, June 15, in the year 1389. The Battle of Kosovo raged between Muslim invaders and Eastern European defenders, or the ancestors of those many Eastern Europeans today vociferously hostile to Islam.
Because the jihad is as old as Islam, it has been championed by diverse peoples (Arabs in the Middle East, Moors — Berbers and Africans — in Spain and Western Europe, etc.). Islam’s successful entry into Eastern Europe was spearheaded by the Turks, specifically that tribe centered in westernmost Anatolia (or Asia Minor) and thus nearest to Europe — the Ottoman Turks, so-named after their founder Osman Bey. As he lay dying in 1323, his parting words to his son and successor, Orhan, were for him “to propagate Islam by yours arms.”

Over 25 Percent of Young Italians Not in Work, Education or Training
Some 25.7 percent of young Italians were neither in employment, education or training in 2017, according to figures from Eurostat.
The percentage equates to one in four Italians aged between 18 and 24 and is the highest among EU member states. The EU average for NEETs (Not in Education, Employment or Training) within the same age group is 14.3 percent.

Police Warn UK Facing ‘Unprecedented’ Terror Threat as Arrests Surge to Record High
The number of terror-related arrests in Britain has reached a record high, the Home Office has announced, in a bulletin which highlighted a “steady rise” in “the proportion of prisoners holding far-right ideologies” over recent years.

All of the negotiations experts insist the opposite is true. “How could they agree to a presidential summit without first guaranteeing its end product?” they sigh, knowingly.

Just a few weeks after the opening of a new “Balkan route” of travel through Albania, Montegegro, Bosnia and Croatia, Austrian forces will conduct border-security exercises on June 25 in the border town of Spielfeld in preparation for a wave of 80,000 migrants expected to travel through the route to Western and Central Europe, reports Kronen Zeitung, Austria’s most widely-circulated newspaper.

Italy, France Call for EU Migrant Centres in Countries of Origin
France and Italy on Friday called on the European Union to set up asylum processing centres in Africa to prevent “voyages of death” by migrants across the Mediterranean, in a crisis that has divided Europe.

Italy: Trump Praises Conte as ‘Very Strong’ on Immigration
US President Donald Trump on Friday hailed Italy’s novice prime minister, Giuseppe Conte, as “very strong” on immigration, days after the European nation rejected a ship loaded with migrants.

Moroccan Asylum Seeker Gets Life Sentence in Finland’s First Terror Trial
COPENHAGEN, Denmark (AP) — A Moroccan asylum-seeker who was the subject of Finland’s first terrorism trial was convicted Friday of two terror-related murders and eight attempted murders from a stabbing attack in the Nordic country last year.
The southern Finland district court sentenced Abderrahman Bouanane, an alleged sympathizer of the Islamic State group, to life in prison after finding him guilty of the Aug. 18 attack in Turku.

Norway Wants to be Stricter on Immigrants Who Don’t Learn Norwegian
Norway’s government wants to tighten rules on social welfare payments to foreign citizens, the country’s finance minister has said.
Minister of Finance Siv Jensen said that newcomers to the Norway must show “willingness” to learn the country’s language.
“This is a demand to immigrants that they must learn Norwegian and they should show genuine willingness to do it. It won’t do to just give up and live on state welfare support,” Jensen told newspaper VG.
Jensen, who is also leader of the anti-immigration Progress Party, wants to scrap a current rule ensuring immigrants to Norway receive 600 hours of classes on Norway’s language and culture.

Poll: Immigration, Terror Top Issues for Public in Every E.U. Member State
Immigration is now seen as the most important issue facing the European Union (EU) by people in every member state apart from seven countries, where the top concern is terrorism, an official survey has found.

Spain’s new interior minister pledged to do his best to reduce migrants’ injuries by removing barbed wire sections from the border between Europe and Africa. With Ceuta and Melilla, Spain has two land borders on the African continent.
Even though the 20-foot fences are often easily crossed by climbing migrants, apparently, they won’t be enhanced but rather weakened by the new socialist Spanish Government.

Canadian Judge Rules Child Born to Polyamorous Trio Has Three Parents
A Newfoundland judge has declared a polyamorous trio of one woman and two men all legal parents of the child the woman gave birth to last year. The decision appears to be the first of its kind in Canada.
In ruling on the case, Justice Robert Fowler of the Newfoundland and Labrador Supreme Court Family Division observed the child was born in 2017 as the result of a polyamorous relationship between two men and one woman he described as “stable and ongoing” since June 2015.
“None of the partners in this relationship is married and, while the identity of the mother is clear, the biological father of the child is unknown,” wrote Fowler. The judge did not seem aware of the existence of paternity tests…
REAL Women vice president Gwen Landolt blasted the ruling as “truly shocking.”
She warned the decision legitimizes polyamorous relationships and paves the way for legislation to accommodate the parental recognition demands of polyamorous groupings.
Fowler’s ruling is “not based on common sense, or understanding of human nature, or of what’s necessary for a child,” she told LifeSiteNews.
Fowler characterized the trio as having “a loving stable family relationship, then he notes it’s only been around since June 2015,” Landolt said. “To call this a stable relationship after three years is politically correct nonsense.”

Why are men refusing to get married?
The simple answer is that women (and the deep state) can no longer be trusted to give men a fair deal and these actions have consequences.
Marriage is pointless unless there is the intention to raise a family, and many young women have been so ‘masculinised’ that they have no intention of so compromising their lives and careers.
To raise a family in an unsupportive environment is sheer hell for all concerned, and in western societies, those support mechanisms for mothers have been mostly removed. Gone are the ‘Women’s Institutes’, ‘mother’s circles’ and ‘Townswomwen’s Guilds’, gone are the tax breaks and the mortgage subsidies.
I would think twice in this family hostile day and age…..

I would add in that the state and its media also do everything in their power to discourage chastity, moderation, and temperance in male and female behavior.
These traits are particularly valuable for individuals seeking marriage, possibly even moreso for the female gender.
Sad to say, the Tom Wolfe novel, “I Am Charlotte Simmons” could be someone’s undergraduate biography of promiscuous behavior.
Then you have institutions like Spring Break, which was plenty seedy when I was an undergrad 20 years ago. Some of the anecdotes that surface now are beyond Sodom and Gomorrah.

Men opt for asocial mgtow, or sociopathic pickup artistry, because serious marriage and family are unachievable.
This outcome is predictable so much so every major religion, islam or christianity, has many strong warnings against sexual promiscuity. Free love is the wide road that leads to destruction.
Well, divorce is an emotionally and financially devastating event for one partner, many times both partners.
I have a couple male neighbors in their early 50s who are divorced. They are both heavily committed to their jobs because they are in a financial position where they are starting all over again. I imagine that they don’t have much time or energy to be social.

The title, “Death of a Nation” is meant to echo the film, “Birth of a Nation”. I would never have seen “Birth” if it weren’t for a film class in college. No one in academia would show that film today…I wonder if it’s even excerpted on YouTube.

I have it on a Eureka dvd from 2000 (the label specialises in reissues of classic “silents”). A quick Google search suggests it’s still available this side of the pond, but difficult to see on Netflix.
I had a brief look at Amazon.com (for the US); there seem to be different versions available, on Prime and dvd, some considerably cut, plus an apparent (and much shorter) remake from 2017.

That ruling by the Canadian judge on that poor child of those three perverts is absolutely appalling. Just horrifying. What is this world? It’s a relief to live in South Korea, where they still value real families, but I weep for those innocents stuck in the degraded West. I don’t know if the situation is salvageable. I really don’t.
