A “Frenchman” went on a rampage with a knife near the Opera House in central Paris, killing one person and wounding at least four others before being shot dead by police. Witnesses say he shouted “Allahu Akhbar!” as he stabbed passersby at random. The motive for the attack remains unknown.

An audible gasp went out in the breakout room I was in at last month’s pension event cosponsored by The Civic Federation and the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago. That was when a speaker from the Chicago Fed proposed levying, across the state and in addition to current property taxes, a special property assessment they estimate would be about 1% of actual property value each year for 30 years.

Antifa Member Who Assaulted Pro-Trump Reporter Sent to Jail
(Gateway Pundit) A violent member of Antifa has been sent to jail for his assault on One America News reporter Jack Posobiec in DC last year.
Sydney Ramsey-Laree, 25, was originally sentenced to two years of probation for the assault, but was arrested yet again for public intoxication in December.
The popular right-wing reporter was on a corner speaking to members of Antifa when Ramsey-Laree punched him. Police immediately rushed to the scene and arrested him. The man immediately claimed self defense — but it was easily disproven by Posobiec’s video.

Experts Say Keep Amazon’s Alexa Away From Your Kids
What’s the best way to keep adults from questioning the use of a deeply problematic product? Get them started when they’re too young to question anything. Amazon has a new addition to its line of voice-commanded artificial intelligence Alexa assistants, marketed for use by children as young as 5 years old, who can barely grasp a box of juice, let alone digital privacy. Now, a coalition of children’s privacy and psychology advocates are warning parents away from Amazon’s latest, cutest device, saying it could normalize surveillance and harm children’s mental development.
The Echo Dot for kids is functionally identical to the Echo Dot for adults, except that it’s brightly colored and inexplicably costs $30 more than the grown-up version. Cosmetics aside, Echo Dot is still an AI-powered microphone that listens constantly for an activation keyword, relays a user’s voice to remote servers where it is analyzed and processed opaquely, and then responds to an increasingly long list of commands; on its packaging, Amazon highlights commands like “tell me a story” and “start Spongebob.” Dot for kids will not only perpetually listen to and entertain your children, but attempt to teach them manners in your stead: “Alexa even provides positive feedback when kids ask questions and remember to say ‘please,’“ says Amazon.
But a group of experts says Amazon’s little Play-Doh-colored pucks have no place near children. A statement released today by the Campaign for a Commercial Free Childhood, or CCFC, which previously led a prominent campaign against a version of Facebook Messenger aimed at kids, claims that Dot for kids and its ability to streamline a kid’s interaction with brands “pose significant threats to children’s wellbeing and privacy.” The CCFC statement is joined by critical letters from Senator Edward Markey and Representative Joe Barton. According to the CCFC’s executive director Josh Golin, “Amazon wants kids to be dependent on its data-gathering device from the moment they wake up until they go to bed at night. … AI devices raise a host of privacy concerns and interfere with the face-to-face interactions and self-driven play that children need to thrive.”

I suspect Obama administration holdovers still serving in the National Security Council staff and intelligence community are responsible for this latest outrage. They cling to the false narrative that Iran suspended its nuclear weapons program in 2003, to justify President Obama’s JCPOA and crediting himself with stopping the Mullahs just a few months short of building their “Islamic Bomb.”

New Law Would Stop Feds From Demanding Encryption Backdoor
US lawmakers from both major political parties came together on Thursday to reintroduce a bill that, if passed, would prohibit the American government from forcing tech product makers to undermine the security of their wares.
The bill, known as the Secure Data Act of 2018, was returned to the US House of Representatives by Representative Zoe Lofgren (D-CA) and Thomas Massie (R-KY), with the support of Jerrold Nadler (D-NY), Ted Poe (R-TX), Ted Lieu (D-CA) and Matt Gaetz (R-FL), cosponsors of a past failed version of the bill from 2014 and a similarly ill-fated 2015 successor.

Boston Dynamics has posted two videos showing off the new skills of two of its advanced automatons.
In one, Atlas, a humanoid robot, can be seen jogging around a grassy field, before leaping over a log that’s obstructing its path.
In the second, a SpotMini robo-dog navigates its way around an office building, climbing and descending a set of stairs with ease, all under its own direction.
The canine automatons look eerily similar to those featured in an episode of the sci-fi series, where mechanised creatures hunt humans in a post-apocalyptic future.

Laurier Free Speech Advocate Lindsay Shepherd Honoured in Ottawa
When graduate student Lindsay Shepherd stood up to her professors at Sir Wilfrid Laurier University last fall, she didn’t know she would become the focus of the fiery debate over free speech on campus.
She never expected she would end up being ostracized by her peers or that when she travelled to another university for a conference, the student union there would feel compelled to open a “healing space” for those upset by her presence.

Warmington: Cops Warned to Watch for Violent MS-13 Gang Members

Black Friday: Spanish Public Broadcaster Employees Mourn the Death of Independent News
For the third week in a row, journalists at the Spanish public-service broadcaster RTVE wore black on Friday to protest PM Mariano Rajoy’s party meddling in their news coverage, which they fear damages the channel’s credibility.

France: At Least One Dead in Central Paris Stabbing
A madman with a knife attacked people—seemingly at random—in a busy section of Paris Saturday before he was fatally gunned down by police, BFM TV reported.
At least one person died and eight others were wounded in the attack, carried out near the Palais Garnier opera house, according to Le Parisien.
“I just saw the man knifing random people,” wrote Twitter user Esohe Denise Odaro.
A police spokesperson confirmed the stabbing.

Hacking Train Wi-Fi May Expose Passenger Data and Control Systems
Vulnerabilities on the Wi-Fi networks of a number of rail operators could expose customers’ credit card information, according to infosec biz Pen Test Partners this week.
The research was conducted over several years, said Pen Test’s Ken Munro. “In most cases they are pretty secure, although whether the Wi-Fi works or not is another matter,” he added.
But in a handful of cases Munro was able to bridge the wireless network to the wired network and find a database server containing default credentials, enabling him to access the credit card data of customers paying for the Wi-Fi, including the passenger’s name, email address and card details.

Paris Attacker ‘Shouting Allahu Akbar’ Shot Dead by Police
Police have shot a man who launched a knife attack in Paris dead after he killed one person and injured four others.
Isis claimed responsibility for the atrocity in a statement that described the culprit as one of its “soldiers”, without giving further details.
A witness told The Independent the assailant was shouting “Allahu akbar” and trying to get into restaurants as diners barricaded the doors.

Rebel U.S. Soldier Punished for Cutting Chutes as Humvees Drop From Plane
A U.S. Army soldier has been reduced in rank to the E-1 grade and given a Bad Conduct Discharge after a panel of soldiers and officers ruled he deliberately destroyed three Humvee vehicles being airdropped during an exercise by cutting the straps to their parachutes.
The issue has been covered closely by the Military Times and the site reported Wednesday that Sgt. John Skipper, a Germany-based cavalry scout, was convicted of destruction of government property and making false statements…
Video of the incident went viral on the web, and showed the vehicles exploding on impact after they were dropped during the Saber Junction exercise at the Hohenfels Training Area in Germany.
A soldier on the ground, making the video, can be heard cheering and laughing and using very offensive language.

Saudi Flag on German Beer Bottle Cap Disturbs Muslims
BERLIN — Muslims around the world have taken issue with the flagrant disregard of a German firm, which used the Saudi Arabian flag with the “Kalimat Al-Tawheed” on the cap of its beer bottle, and have bombarded the social media about this irreverent act.
The Saudi Embassy in Berlin has also denounced the German company and has issued a statement saying it acted after being alerted of the issue through the social media, in which the news had become viral.
The picture of the disrespectful act by the company was circulating in the social media with the bottle’s cap shown with the Saudi flag. The German firm “Eichbaum”, located in Mannheim city, published the flag of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on the caps of one of its liquor products and triggered a firestorm of condemnation in Twitter.
Most of the tweets railed against the company for hurting Muslims’ sentiments and sought the withdrawal of this product. Nearly every tweet ended with them commanding the company to tender an apology.
#DostKhan in his tweet said: “In Germany an alcohol company Eichbaum Bier wrote Lailaheillallah Muhammad Rasulullah on the cap of the beer bottle to hurt muslims. Germany should take action & force this company to apologise for this actions or embrace (face) itself for all kinds of reaction from muslims.”
@abu3ween tweeted: “In the doctrine of Islam, alcohol is one of the greatest sins. Putting the slogan of Saudi Arabia on this product is an insult to the Islamic religion. Please change your product and make an apology.”
@Anthromarmalade in his tweet said: “Can you believe the insensitivity of the commercialists? Nothing is more important than selling their carcinogenic products and making a fast money (buck) at the expense of offending and destroying peoples health.”
A German lady tweeting in German with the handle @DoraGezwitscher tried to make light of the situation stating: “A private brewery in Eichman printed the flags of 32 countries on their beer cap in celebration of the World Cup. One of the printed flags is Saudi Arabia. And that has caused outrage.”

Teenage Girl ‘Plotted British Museum Grenade Terror Attack’
A teenage girl plotted a gun and grenade attack at the British Museum after her attempts to become a jihadi bride were thwarted, a court has heard.
Safaa Boular was 17 when she allegedly decided to be a “martyr” after her Islamic State fighter fiancé was killed in Syria, the Old Bailey was told.

This is the shocking moment a gang of armed thugs smash up a Mercedes before beating a defenceless man to the ground outside an Afghan restaurant.
Around 20 men wielding hammers, cricket bats and planks of wood were caught on video smashing car windows and attacking members of the public outside Kabul Darbar in the Alum Rock area of Birmingham.
Dramatic footage showed one man with blood pouring from his head after being chased down and beaten senseless by the mob.

Surprise: Iran is Full of Trump Supporters
The Iranian regime may have blocked popular messaging apps to prevent citizens from connecting with one another and to curb the flow of news, photos and videos out of Iran, but global news outlets, broadcasting in Farsi, are obtaining thousands of responses from Iran on a daily basis.
Most of the latest messages are expressions of gratitude and appreciation for U.S. President Donald Trump’s withdrawal from the 2015 nuclear agreement, and expectations that the U.S. will help the Iranian people topple the oppressive regime.
“Trump’s name should be written out in gold letters upon the stars in the sky,” one Iranian citizen said. Another citizen remarked that Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali “Khamenei threatened to set fire to the nuclear agreement if the U.S. decides to withdraw from it. Why is he suddenly hesitating?”
All the messages are anonymous or made under assumed identities, because of general fear of the regime.

Father Confesses to Killing Italian Woman in Pakistan — Media
(ANSA) — Brescia, May 10 — The father of Sana Cheema, a 25-year-old Brescian of Pakistani origin who died in Pakistan in April, has confessed to murdering the woman, Pakistani media reported on Thursday.
The father, Ghulam Mustafa, an Italian citizen like his daughter, was arrested in Pakistan three weeks ago on suspicion of being behind an honour killing.

Stray Dogs Are Killing Children in India
A team of scientists in India is investigating why packs of stray dogs in villages near the north Indian town of Sitapur have mysteriously started killing children.
In just a week, six children between 5 and 12-years-old were killed by snarling strays, while more than two dozen others have been injured in attacks.
The attacks have terrorized the town and, according to local reports, school attendance has dropped and villagers in the town say they believe the killer beasts are hyenas, not dogs. Vigilante dog-catching squads have started shooting and strangling animals, while local authorities have recruited policemen, municipal workers and a team of expert monkey catchers to apprehend the strays.
The World Wildlife Fund and the Indian Veterinary Research Institute have sent teams to figure out what has turned the dogs into child killers.

Kafka’s Nightmare Emerges: China’s “Social Credit Score”
The implicit goal of China’s Total Surveillance State is to control the citizenry and root out any dissent before it threatens The Communist Party’s hold on power, but the explicit goal is a behavioral psychologist’s dream: to reward “positive social behaviors” and punish “negative social behaviors” via a “Social Credit Score.”

South Africa: White Woman Tied to a Tree and Gang Raped
A woman from Bloemfontein was tied to a tree and three men took turns to rape her, said the Free State police.
Const. Peter Kareli, police spokesman, said on Wednesday the 24-year-old woman went on her way to her sister’s school along the N8 when she was stopped by three men The men threatened her with a knife, and dragged her into nearby fields.
The men allegedly assaulted her after they took off her clothes and gang-raped her. A passerby apparently saw what happened and called the police. Two of the men had already fled when the police arrived on the scene. The other man was caught red-handed, where he was busy raping the woman.

The Zulu and Xhosa in South Africa and the Hutu in Rwanda, who committed the Rwandan Genocide, are all part of the same Bantu tribe and both are a Majority Government where oppression of the minorities, suppression of Freedom of Speech and racism and xenophobia are rife!
The Hutu, who committed the Rwandan Genocide, are from the same Bantu tribe as the Xhosa and Zulu in South Africa who now publicly sing “Kill the Boer, Kill the Farmer”. Even Presidents mandela and Zuma sang this publicly on stage.
The almost daily occurrences of xenophobia, often deadly, on the part of the bantu against immigrants from elsewhere in Africa and the murder rate of 54 people per day should be a serious cause for concern.
What should be even more startling is that the Bantu are the majority government in South Africa, as they were in Rwanda, and therefore any warning signs of genocide will be quashed and not be given the appropriate treatment, despite being a signatory to the ICC’s Rome Accord. This should put in perspective the ANC regime’s decision to leave the International Criminal Court (ICC). It literally is like asking the wolf to guard the sheep…
Today Bantu in South Africa often tell Afrikaners and other minorities such as the Coloureds, Indians, Chinese or Jews to’ adapt to their oppression, misrule and corruption or “Go Home”, implying that we, who have been born here, who hold legal citizenship through successive birthrights; should emigrate to Europe, Malaysia, India or Israel. That the only ones who have a legal claim to South Africa, all of it, are the blacks.
Blacks believe that they are ‘ indigenous to South Africa ‘ — but they are not: it was proven by DNA research. We are ALL settlers in South Africa. All South Africans are settlers, regardless of their skin colour, and their DNA carries the proof. So says Dr Wilmot James, head of the African Genome Project, a distinguished academic, sociologist and, more recently, honorary professor of human genetics at the University of Cape Town.

Court Ruling Sparks Citizen Uprising Against Refugees in Tennessee
The state of Tennessee is taking its fight against the federal government’s program to send refugees inside its borders to the 6th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals because, its lawyer says, “the district court decision dismissing this case conflicts with several U.S. Supreme Court opinions upholding state sovereignty.”
The case originally was filed in 2017, and the announcement about the appeal was just made by officials with the Thomas More Law Center.
The legal team explained, “This case involves critical constitutional issues regarding the appropriate balance between the powers of the federal government and the states.”
Citing Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts’ admonition that “[t]he states are separate and independent sovereigns” and “sometimes they have to act like it,” the state authorized the law center to file the appeal.
The state officially withdrew from the federal refugee resettlement program in 2007, but “the government continues, to this day, to commandeer state tax dollars to fund it.”

German Doctor Calls Refugees Medical Tourists: They Even Ask for Viagra
A German doctor decided to quit his job in a transit centre for refugees in Bavaria. He once treated wounded refugees but is now being harassed by ‘medical tourists’ looking for Viagra or a new hip.
Residents of Bavaria’s transit centres do not receive language courses and are not allowed to work, but they are entitled to basic medical care. But that often did not work out, explains the doctor who worked in Deggendorf’s transit centre for asylum seekers.

Germany: Only 1 in 25 Rejected African Asylum Migrants Successfully Deported Home
Africans who have entered Germany without permission remain permanently in the country, Die Welt reports. This, regardless of whether their application is denied or if another country is actually responsible for them.
Last year, Germany’s migration office made decisions on 129,251 asylum applications from Africans. Out of 129,251 applications, 86,913 were denied.
The Federal Office therefore rejected the applications as unfounded or closed the case — for example, because another EU state was responsible for the applicant. A total of 3,270 people were deported to 55 African states, statistics say.

Half of All Americans Now Live in ‘Sanctuaries’ Protecting Immigrants
bout half of all Americans now live under sanctuary policies that shield illegal immigrants from law enforcement, according to the latest tally of jurisdictions that the Federation for American Immigration Reform is releasing Thursday.
FAIR calculates there were 564 states and municipalities that refuse some level of cooperation with federal immigration authorities as of April 1, up more than 200 since President Trump took office and up more than 500 compared with a decade ago. There were just 40 sanctuaries when President Obama took office.
Entire states such as California, Illinois and New York are now sanctuaries, as well as major cities and counties such as Fairfax, Montgomery and Prince George’s counties and the District of Columbia in the capital region, according to the list.

One Employer of Illegals Puts 160 Children in Tenn. School Districts, Says Activists’ Count
The Tennesee meatpacker which allegedly hired almost 100 illegals also ensured that 160 additional children could be enrolled in local schools, according to a count conducted by a pro-migration group.
The huge number of foreign children who were brought into Hamblen County lifts a curtain on hidden costs which rogue employers and illegals impose on American communities.
The costs divert scarce resources from the children of poor Americans to the children of illegal immigrants — even as the wages paid to American parents are forced down by competition from the cheap-labor illegal migrants. In turn, most of the economic benefits of this illegal workforce — such higher company profits, more status for more teachers — flows to university-educated Americans.

Switzerland: Asylum Seekers to be Allocated to Cantons Using Artificial Intelligence
The government is to launch a pilot project that uses artificial intelligence to decide where to place asylum seekers to improve their chances of finding a job.
From September 1,000 people who have lodged an asylum application will be allocated to different cantons using a computer algorithm developed by researchers at the ETH Zurich and Stanford University in the United States, SRF television’s 10vor10 news programme reported.
Instead of distributing applicants randomly, as at present, the authorities will be able to place them in the cantons where they have the best chances of employment.
At present only 15 percent of asylum seekers have managed to find a job after three years, according to SRF.

Shocking Curriculum in Arizona Schools
Liberty Counsel represents concerned parents and residents against the implementation of a harmful curriculum under the guise of sex-ed in the Sunnyside Unified School District in Tucson. The material is not age appropriate, violates Arizona law, is not medically accurate and promotes harmful sexual behavior to K-12 grade children.
Advocates for Youth drafted the “Rights, Respect, Responsibility” curriculum, known as the 3Rs, and is featured prominently throughout the material as a “resource.” A partner of Planned Parenthood, Advocates for Youth takes the following position regarding minor girls or young women and abortion: “Young women need the right to safe and legal abortion. But many states place barriers on young women’s access by requiring parental notification or even consent…United States policies contribute to an anti-choice climate and limit young women’s access to abortion. No young woman, anywhere, should be forced to seek out an illegal, dangerous procedure or carry a pregnancy she didn’t want to term.”
The 3Rs material contains graphic gynecological illustrations for kindergarten through second graders and for fifth graders; a wooden “condom demonstrator” for eighth graders; and the covers of multiple p-graphic and homosexual magazines for classroom discussion with 12th graders. This curriculum also violates Arizona law by promoting a same-sex lifestyle and suggesting there are safe methods of homosexual sexual activity. In addition, one of the learning goals for 12th graders, includes knowing how to use a condom. The material promotes condoms for anal sex, despite the fact there is not one approved by the FDA as being suitable for this sexual activity.
Numerous lessons involve virtual classroom excursions to Planned Parenthood’s website, some involving small groups of self-supervised children. The material promotes abortion over childbirth and adoption and, beginning in the sixth grade with 11— and 12-year-olds, the 3Rs curriculum mentions or refers students to Planned Parenthood or its website more than 24 times. The Planned Parenthood website includes a “Glossary A-Z” that does not contain the words “adoption” or “pro-life,” but contains “anti-choice” and “pro-choice.” Planned Parenthood’s glossary also contains many other obscene words and definitions, which are not suitable for children including “necrophilia,” defined as “when a person is sexually aroused by dead bodies.” Liberty Counsel’s Founder and Chairman Mat Staver said, “The Sunnyside Unified School District in Tucson has no business exposing innocent children to graphic and harmful material. The school board needs to stop this trash as it has no place in public schools. This harmful material is a violation of Arizona law. Tucson parents must let their voices be heard and protect their children. They should attend every school board meeting until this smut is permanently eradicated,” said Staver.
