The suspect who mowed down pedestrians in Toronto, killing 10 and wounding 15, has been named as Alek Minassian. That’s definitely an Armenian name — does anyone know of any Armenian Muslims? I’ve never heard of any.
In other news, Travis Reinking, the gunman suspected of killing four people in a Tennessee Waffle House yesterday, has been arrested and is being held on $2 million bond.

Antifa Members Arrested for Refusing to Remove Masks
Antifa can be called many things. “Smart” is not one of them.
On Saturday, an Antifa contingent showed up in Newnan, Georgia, to protest a neo-Nazi gathering. (That’s right — for once, Antifa was protesting against actual Nazis.) Only about 30 neo-Nazis showed up, because despite what the media would have you believe, there simply aren’t too many left in the entire country.
As usual, Antifa ran afoul of the police. In Georgia, it’s illegal to wear a mask in public with a few exceptions. As this wasn’t Halloween and they weren’t part of a theatrical production, law enforcement told the protestors to remove them. Antifa, being Antifa, refused to comply.

Waffle House Shooting Suspect Arrested; Father Also Could Face Charges, Nashville Police Say
A man stormed a Waffle House restaurant in Nashville, Tenn., on April 22, 2018, and shot four people to death, according to police. The suspect, Travis Reinking, was arrested April 23 after a manhunt.
Police on Monday arrested a man accused of killing four people at a Waffle House this weekend, ending a 34-hour, door-to-door manhunt that locked down schools and sent fear rippling across the Nashville, Tennessee, region.
Authorities discovered Travis Reinking, 29, hiding in the woods behind a construction site about a mile from the restaurant where the shooting occurred in the community of Antioch, southeast of downtown Nashville. Police said Reinking immediately lay on the ground and surrendered when an officer approached him with his gun drawn.
Reinking was taken to a hospital after his arrest and booked later Monday at the Hill Detention Center on four counts of criminal homicide.
Reinking requested a lawyer and refused to answer questions or make a statement, said Don Aaron, a spokesman for the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department. He did not explain how Reinking eluded officers, police dogs and search helicopters, and he would not say what drove the suspect to allegedly open fire on apparent strangers early Sunday morning.
Reinking’s bond was set at $2 million — $500,000 for each homicide count. He is scheduled to make his first appearance in court Wednesday morning…

Sunny Spring Day Turns to Unforgettable Tragedy as Van Driver Kills 10 and Injures 15
If ever there was a moment for an overdose of quintessential Canadian resilience it is now, as our metropolis struggles to make sense of the incomprehensible: a deliberate massacre on Toronto’s most famous street.
A curb-jumping Ryder van turned the first truly gorgeous spring day into a nightmare unlike anything Toronto has ever known Monday, cutting a high-speed swath through pedestrians along Yonge St., ending at least 10 lives and wounding at least 15 others.
The carnage in North York stretched more than a kilometre along Yonge south of Finch Ave., lasting a mere 26 minutes, from the first alarm to the arrest of the suspect.
Even as first responders rushed to the scene of the early afternoon attack, a wave of shock, fear and fury cascaded onto social media. Within minutes the world’s news channels jumped in with live feeds, one after another, placing Toronto in the Klieg lights of grim global breaking news.
Toronto police have locked down the area. In a Monday afternoon news conference, deputy chief Peter Yuen said that police “will be here for a number of days to shut down a busy stretch of Toronto…

UK: Child ‘Beaten in Unprovoked Attack’, Police Say Not ‘Cost Effective’ To Investigate
A mother said she has filed a formal complaint to police after they refused to investigate a vicious alleged attack on her 12-year-old daughter stating it would not be “cost effective” and that “crime has gone through the roof”.
Victoria Woods said her daughter Isabelle was punched, kicked, and thrown down a hill in Wildmoore Avenue Park, Oldham, on Wednesday in an unprovoked attack after she was set on by a group of around 15 youths — none of whom she knew, Manchester Evening News reported.
Recalling how her daughter was “in floods of tears” after the attack, which left her with bruising, deep scratches, and “caked in mud”, Ms. Woods described the response from Greater Manchester Police (GMP) over the incident as “diabolical”.
A day after reporting the assault she received a telephone call from a female officer who explained that police would not be taking the case any further “because it wasn’t a major crime and it was ‘just kids fighting’, in her words,” Ms. Woods said.
“She said the inspector had decided it was not ‘cost effective’ to investigate it in terms of the cost and manpower hours…

Germany: EU Needs Common Asylum Policy, Harmonised Living Standards So Migrants Stay in East
The European Union (EU) requires a common asylum system with “uniform” standard of living across the bloc to ensure migrants remain in nations which are seen as less generous, Germany has said.
The harmonisation of welfare levels and living conditions for migrants “must be done”, Bundestag President Wolfgang Schäuble insisted in an interview this weekend, declaring it essential that Brussels build a system in which asylum procedures and services available to newcomers are made “uniform” throughout the bloc.

Space Mining Will Produce World’s First Trillionaire
The next trillion-dollar industry will be in the mining sector, and the world’s first trillionaire will make his/her fortune by mining in outer space, Goldman Sachs claims.
The prediction is echoed by renowned astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson, who says: “The first trillionaire there will ever be is the person who exploits the natural resources on asteroids.”
“There’s this vast universe of limitless energy and limitless resources. I look at wars fought over access to resources. That could be a thing of the past, once space becomes our backyard,” Tyson said.

Germany: EU Needs Common Asylum Policy, Harmonised Living Standards So Migrants Stay in East
when I listen to Merkel and company, this seems to be their goal since the very beginning: a common EU policy – because international socialism and islam share the same goal: a world without borders.
Hitler wanted to move Czechs beyond Ural, and put ‘Germans’ in their stead, now Merkel wants to dissolve the eastern countries by moving ‘refugees’. Social engineers is all I can say.

Darkstream: why Communism is better than free markets.
He went on to explain that while China and Russia and other countries survived communism, free markets were going to destroy countries embracing them. Germany was still Germany after Hitler and the USSR but there will be no more Germany after Merkel gets done with them.
https://voxday.blogspot.com/2017/05/darkstream-why-communism-is-better-than.html
But you see what they are doing ?
They are starting from the bottom up, in this case the migrant /refuge population.
EU harmonization at nationality/ national economic level was of the main cards played when pushing for open borders and the Euro, and has allowed Germany the position of manufacturer and creditor to almost every other country, destroying other local politics and national organisation, including economic, along the way. I don’t blame Germany as such, it is a deceptive arrangement but people are responsible for their own countries – point.
The above idea of formatting a minimum standard for the lowest tier of pan-EU inhabitants has a double edge.
On one side it implies EU (read indirectly national) funding flows towards a base sector, migrant or not. That means money flowing into the ( poorer) regions who do not feel like supporting migrants. Where there is money there is a promise of better economy ( the debtor nations… are in debt…to…?) , the creation of a base social standard ( run by…?) , and inevitably (more) political corruption.
On the other side there is the replacement of local population that has left ( read up on Greek demographics for example) , the ( illusion) that EU/Germany is helping other countries meet their commitment to house migrants ( at point of entry as per treaty or as per EU distributive legislation).
So in short the southern ( primed) economic failure and distress will have migrants used to format a harmonized layer that will ultimately benefit the controllers, EU legislative power and German supply/debt repayment.
“UK: Child ‘Beaten in Unprovoked Attack’, Police Say Not ‘Cost Effective’ To Investigate”
In a sense I understand the police’s standpoint, it’s just not seeing the bigger picture that’s problematic about the decision. And the girl can consider herself lucky she wasn’t raped and/or murdered on top of it. That said, would it have been my daughter (or son) I would probably end up going to jail for doing some sentencing on my own.
Armenian Muslim – never heard of, unlike Georgian muslims that may number millions. But in our “post-christian” (read – Antichrist’s) times, an Armenian Muslim convert might appear…particularly if he grew up in Canada.
Armenian-Lebanese are quite common as are Armenian-Iranians.
And Egyptians, too, but generally Christian.
Attack in Toronto – What I heard about Minassian is that he came from Lebanon about 6 months ago and that American law authorities had some knowledge of him.
There’s no trust among Canadian “deplorables” in any Canadian authority anymore as the government and police cover up or down-play anything they want . I have to rely on American media (mostly Fox) for any real information as the Canadian MSM does everything to protect Trudeau and his government from any “unfortunate news” that strays from the approved narrative.
Armenian Muslims are a minority as are the Armenian Yazidis, but they do exist.
And they would probably be more likely to emigrate to Canada than Christian Armenians.
Since the Muslim Turks massacred the Armenian Christians during World War 1 Armenian Muslims are probably not very popular with the Christian majority.
But he could always be a convert to Islam.
http://www.armenian-genocide.org/genocide.html
http://www.nameslist.org/surname/Minassian
It seems Minassian is a name of Iranian origin.
He must be part of the Armenian Muslim minority
No it is not, it’s pure Armenian. There is no such thing as a Muslim Armenian, even a single person. Majority of Armenians who live in Tehran are survivors of 1915 mass massacre, not because they are Muslims. I know them very well for I lived in their districts for 4 years.
Maybe identity of Toronto victims will tell something about the motive, if such information will ever be released. Apparently the incident happened in an Iranian-majority district and the van just finished in front of a currency exchange shop named Tehran. At this point, I have a feeling that it was a retaliation and Alek chose his victims carefully.
The video I saw showed quite a few white victims, some Asian (actual Asian)
Flight training might be the tip of the ice berg as to why national politics was hit hard by trivial drama, in Australia this year. People with our interests have a big target on their backs.
Don’t care where the guy is from re Minassian. Muslims, or people who would like to be muslims, come in colours other than brown. Every other indicator here screams car jihad; making an exception based on the ethnicity of the driver is racist (ahem).
I’m just glad Ralph Goodale has decided that this does not constitute a threat to natioal security. I was worried there for a moment.
I definitely like such provocations.

In Russia, recently adopted a series of abominable laws, which almost brought the country closer to the Sharia. One of such laws is the notorious article 148 “insulting the feelings of believers”. An article that offends sanity and discards society in the Paleolithic. The article is loved by the obscurantists and other freaks, whom the Kremlin has fostered with love.
And this lovely girl climbed the dome of the mosque and signed a photo: The caption to the photo reads: “We insult the feelings of believers. Believers, forgive . ”
Ummah is outraged and shares her personal data in social networks.
I wonder how this will end?
It is simply that Muslims never learn to drive, since the automobile is an infidel contraption. Bringing that lot into the 20th century will be hard enough, much less the 21st!
To me it makes no difference if one tries to twist this away from or towards implying an islamic background to the attack.
Both are profoundly dishonest and undermine one’s general credibility.
Wait for the facts or – better yet – investigate them.
Disagree – vehicular Jihad is front page copycat material, whatever religion or motive he might have/have had.
There is a reason everyone first suspects muslims for this sort of event, just as with school shootings the initial profiling by readers tends go in a different direction.
Anyone unbiased would welcome that the various lines of enquiry are investigated privately, and so on the web you will find proposition and argument from the different points of view.
There is no twisting involved, people try to prove their own opinion, the facts eventually taking the say…. if they ever able to become known.
Minassian? A forced christian convert to islam, way back? Or a Young Turk?
