Obama’s Administration Miscalculated $500 Billion … Enron Corporation Only Cost $63 Billion

Do you remember one of the biggest affairs with the bankruptcy related to the infamous Enron Corporation?

Well, back in 2001, it was the one affair, where an energy company from Texas, suffered a loss of about $63 billion, once investigators found that Enron officials and auditors at the Arthur Anderson accounting firm purposely and unethically abused legal loopholes to try and sneak out billions of dollars that were otherwise lost in bad deals and brought the company a massive debt.

In the end, a couple of people ended up behind bars, and the media didn’t lift a finger to report this ever happening.

Then, in 2017, after a report from the Office of Inspector General regarding the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development broke, the media remained silent once again.

In the report, it was said that an audit of HUD’s 2015 and 2016 financial records was manipulated and contained “pervasive material errors” which indicated an illegal activity. The error amounted to a total of $520 billion.

All told, the OIG reported, “This audit report contains 11 material weaknesses, 7 significant deficiencies, and 5 instances of noncompliance with applicable laws and regulations.”

The report explained how an audit of HUD’s 2015 and 2016 numbers was so fabricated, it had to be sent back and issued again as “restated consolidated reports,” and even those consisted of monumental “material errors.”…

Prosecutors: Man Who Shot Officer Was ‘Lying in Wait’

PHILADELPHIA (AP) — A man accused of ambushing a Philadelphia police officer with a hail of gunfire in the name of the Islamic State group refused to cooperate at the start of his attempted murder trial Thursday, telling a judge that he won’t “plead to anyone but Allah.”

With his back to a crowd of officers that included the city’s police commissioner, Edward Archer, 32, offered the same response again and again as each charge stemming from the 2016 shooting was read aloud.

“Respectfully, your honor, I don’t plead to anyone but Allah,” Archer said.

YouTube’s Algorithms Continue Snaring Critics of Political Correctness

YouTube’s algorithms continue tripping up critics of political correctness.

Popular YouTube host Dave Rubin had another one of his videos demonetized on Thursday, preventing him from profiting off of advertisements on the video. The video was a discussion between Rubin and two other prominent critics of political correctness: Canadian professor Jordan B. Peterson and conservative commentator Ben Shapiro.

After an inquiry from The Daily Caller, YouTube remonetized the video. A YouTube spokesperson blamed the original demonetization on the platform’s algorithms.

EU Pressures Swiss Cantons Over Free Movement

The European Union has drawn up a “sin list” of which Swiss cantons do not apply the free movement of people principle according to bilateral agreements, Swiss public television SRF has reported.

Which documents should a Swiss canton ask for when an EU citizen wants to take up a job in Switzerland? Only two, says the EU: a valid identity document and a confirmation of employment.

Switzerland is not a member of the EU but it has a bilateral agreement permitting EU citizens to live and work in Switzerland, and visa versa. The EU says that not all cantons are keeping to the terms of that agreement, asking for more than is required from citizens of the 28-nation bloc who want to settle in Switzerland.

Geert Wilders for Breitbart: Lessons From the East for the West

Last weekend, I was in Hungary for the presentation of the Hungarian translation of my book Marked for Death; Islam’s War Against the West and Me. I spoke in fully packed meeting halls and conference centres in Budapest, Nyíregyháza, Debrecen, Gyór and Sopron. I gave dozens of interviews. And I had lunch with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán.

Visiting Hungary is a fantastic experience for any Western politician resisting the Islamic invasion of the West. In Hungary, there are barely any signs of Islamization. The Hungarians make no secret of their resolve to keep it that way. The attitude in Hungary and, for that matter, in Central Europe in general, is entirely different from that in the West. In Central Europe, people do not hesitate to speak out to express their attachment to their own national identity, rooted in the Judeo-Christian principles of Western civilization. They also make it quite clear that they are willing to defend their heritage.

It was also a strange sensation to see my book, which warns against the dangers of Islam, so openly in the Hungarian bookstores. I originally published my book in English in the United States. I did so because America has a First Amendment, which allows people to speak out, even when a message is politically incorrect. The Hungarian translation is the first translation of the book. In my own country, no publisher has the courage to publish it.

A German publisher, who was interested, backed out when it proved impossible to translate it into German without transgressing Germany’s stringent speech laws. Hence, the publisher asked me to have the term “Islam” systematically replaced by the weasel term “Islamism.” I refused because the message of my book is exactly that Islam itself is the problem.

Islam — not Islamism but Islam itself — preaches the political submission of the whole world to Allah. Muhammad left no doubt about this: “I was ordered to fight all men until they say ‘There is no god but Allah,’“ he said…

Italy: Six Highway Patrol Officers Arrested in Corruption Probe

Suspected of withholding police reports in exchange for money

(ANSA) — Taranto, January 29 — Six highway patrol officers working in the southern Italian port city of Taranto were placed under house arrest on Monday on suspicion of corruption, sources said.

The suspects are accused of refraining from reporting alleged violations of traffic laws in exchange for money or payment in kind.

Investigations began after Taranto police headquarters received an anonymous call reporting that a highway patrol squad was loading crates of fish into the boot of the patrol car.

The fish was reportedly taken from a lorry that had been stopped for checks. The drivers involved in the allegedly illicit exchanges are also being investigated for promising and/or handing over the requested benefits. The six were named as Savino Dimastrochicco, Pietro Galeandro, Giuseppe Abatangelo, Antonio Pastore, Angelo Nunzella and Alessandro Vozza.

They were not part of Taranto Polstrada steady units but joined squads on a rota basis.

Italy: Prodi Underestimates Renzi Uncooperativeness — Boldrini

House Speaker, LeU member ‘sorry’ about ex-premier’s words

(ANSA) — Rome, January 31 — Lower House Speaker Laura Boldrini said Wednesday that she was sorry former European Commission president and twice centre-left Italian premier Romano Prodi has said he will vote for Matteo Renzi’s Democratic Party (PD) in the March 4 general election rather than her leftwing Free and Equal (LeU) group. “I’m sorry that Prodi made these observations, underestimating Renzi’s unwillingness to make coalitions,” Boldrini told Radio Anch’Io. “He didn’t want to find common ground, effectively ending any possibility of an alliance. “I think Prodi underestimated Renzi’s feeling of self-sufficiency and his unwillingness to build a coalition by coming towards the demands of the ally”.

The LeU is led by Senate Speaker Pietro Grasso and features many former PD members who left the party due to hostility towards its leader, such as ex-premier Massimo D’Alema.

The two parties are running separately in the general election after failing to reach an alliance pact.

“Free and Equal is not for the unity of the centre left, full stop,” Prodi told Affaritaliani.it.

“Renzi, the group around him, the PD and those who did deals with the PD are for the unity of the centre left.”

Italy: Lombardy Audit Court Probes Sala for Expo

2.2 mn defrauded in tree supply

(ANSA) — Milan, February 2 — The prosecutor-general of the Lombardy audit court said Friday he had opened a fresh probe into alleged wrongdoing by Milan Mayor Giuseppe Sala linked to the 2015 Expo world’s fair. Former Expo CEO Sala and ex-Expo manager Angelo Parisi were informed they were under investigation for allegedly defrauding state coffers of 2.2 million euros in relation to the supply of tree for the Universal Exposition, judicial sources said.

Earlier this month prosecutors requested that Sala be sent to trial for alleged abuse of office during his previous position as head of Milan Expo 2015.

The case regards the decision to task Mantovani spa with the job of providing 6,000 trees for the event as part of the Piastra dei Servizi contract.

Centre-left Mayor Sala is already on trial for alleged falsehood in another case related to his job as Expo chief, while a request has been made for a bid-rigging charge to be dropped.

Sala has professed his innocence of all charges.

“My conscience is clear,” he said.

Mother and Toddler Assaulted by Sex Criminals in the German City of Frankfurt

Simply shocking: On Wednesday morning, a 29-year-old mother and her one-and-a-half year-old child were on a country lane in Frankfurt’s Höchst district when she was attacked by three men. Close to a motorway underpass, the perpetrators struck from behind, grabbing the mother’s legs and chest while pushing the pram with her son! The perpetrators were 25 to 30 years old and between 1.80 and 1.85 metres tall, slim and all dressed in black. They had a dark skin tone and spoke in a foreign language. One in Eight Swedish Women Will be Raped in Their Lifetimes and That is a Low Estimate

Shocking new statistics have been released by the Swedish bureau for crime statistics (BRÅ). It shows a detrimental increase in rapes in the last few years in Sweden.

The figures show that in 2017 there were 7,230 rapes in Sweden. A 10 percent increase from 2016 which saw 6,720 rapes. Not taking into account any further increases in rapes in the future, this would mean that 12.2% (or 1 in 8) of women in Sweden will be raped during their lifetimes.

These are shocking numbers and should be enough to make anyone question what on earth is going on in Sweden. This is simply not sustainable.

If you want to do the math for yourself: There are 5 million women living in Sweden. Taking into account an average lifespan of 85 years, with 7,230 rapes per year, this will mean that there will be 614,550 women raped during a woman’s lifetime, meaning that 1 in 8 of all women in Sweden will, sadly, be raped.

However, if you look even further back, the statistics can get even worse.

Silenced: Outdoor Muslim Call to Prayer Banned by German Court

The announcement of the traditional Muslim call to prayer via public outdoor loudspeakers has been banned by a German court.

The Gelsenkirchen Administrative Court of North Rhine-Westphalia issued the ban on Friday Muezzin calls, endorsing the local municipality’s withdrawl of the mosque’s original permit for gathering Muslims over loudspeakers, the local Westfalen Post reports.

The city of Oer-Erkenschwick first gave permission for the loudspeaker calls — also known as adzhan — by the Turkish-Islamic Union for Religious Affairs (Ditib) in 2013. Every Friday afternoon since the local imam issued two-hour public prayer calls until a local couple complained to the city over its permit to the mosque.

The complainants — who live just 900 metres from the mosque — said they felt affected by the muezzin’s reputation for being against religious freedom. Their legal counsel stated: “This lawsuit is not only about the loudspeaker permit, but in particular about the inherent messages that are publicly distributed in the muezzin call.”

“It’s a chant in a key that’s disturbing to us, but it’s all about the content of the call, which sets Allah above our God as a Christian, and I as a Christian who grew up in a Christian environment do not accept it,” the newspaper quoted the 69-year-old plaintiff.

According to the Westfalen Post, a Christian Syrian neighbor of the mosque also complained about the Muezzin calls, but was “massively threatened” by his Muslim neighbors and withdrew his complaint.

The muezzin call violates the permit’s mandated prohibition on disseminating “negative religious liberties,” the attorney argued, meaning that no one should be coerced into any particular faith — which the attorney argued is the case with the muezzin call, asserting an Islamic call to public prayer is made at the expense of other religions…

Sweden: Police Confirm Legitimacy of Islamic State Text Messages to Stockholm Terrorist, Once Dismissed as ‘Fake News’

Swedish police have released new information showing Stockholm terrorist Rakhmat Akilov used a private Islamic State chatroom on an encrypted messaging service to seek advice before his attack, after similar chats were dismissed as ‘fake news’ by Swedish media last year.

The investigation into the attack has shown that the failed Uzbek asylum seeker had used an encrypted messaging app called Zello to openly seek advice from Islamic State operatives before the Stockholm terror attack, Expressen reports.

Investigators say that Akilov wrote to one of the administrators of the Islamic State channel saying: “My master I am in Sweden, I do not have any actions, the gay parade will take place here on May 1st, if I get someone who can coordinate, I’ll do a martyring here, if God wants.”

Human Rights Orgs Abandon PA’s Arab Torture Victims

Fifty-two Israeli and Palestinian Authority (PA) Arabs, victims of torture at the hands of the PA, have recently won a lawsuit filed against the PA. A report by Yoni Ozery of the Institute of Zionist Strategies says that their lawyer approached a number of human rights organizations to provide medical specialists to help determine their damages for the next stage of the legal process. The response they received, according to the report, suggests that assistance from such groups would only be forthcoming for parties suing Israel.

In April 2017, Judge Moshe Yair Drori of the Jerusalem District Court ruled in the case dealing with the abduction, imprisonment, torture, rape, and murder of 52 Arabs suspected of collaborating with Israel. Drori held the Palestinian Authority responsible for damages they suffered.

According to Ozery, the victims represented in the trial have subsequently encountered difficulty in determining the level of compensation, being unable to locate and finance doctors willing to provide them with the professional assessment necessary for determining disability levels.

As a result, the law office representing the plaintiffs approached several human rights organizations, requesting assistance in finding specialists in a range of medical fields. The only response forthcoming to their appeal came from the Blue and White Human Rights Movement of the Institute for Zionist Strategies.

“The court’s verdict published this July reveals an in-depth account of each of the plaintiffs and his circumstances. The resulting picture is one of widespread detentions throughout Judea and Samaria of those suspected of collaborating with Israel. The vicious torture described by the plaintiffs included beatings with metal wires and rubber pipes, cigarette burns, being hung for hours, and sleep- and food-deprivation. As a result, the plaintiffs sustained severe damage to both their physical and mental health,” the report said.

“An Israeli court determined that the responsibility for the plaintiffs’ injures lies with the Palestinian Authority on which the court imposed obligation for paying damages”, said their lawyer, Attorney Barak Kedem, during an interview with 360. He also explained that medical specialists were now required to evaluate the victim’s disabilities and thereby enable the court to set damages.

Kedem revealed that due to the complexity of the sustained injuries, the cost of each victim’s examination may reach thousands of shekels, however no funding is forthcoming for this cause. “These are people who are suffering from a number of parallel disabilities — physical disability, psychiatric, urological, and others. Some are suffering from five or more disabilities and are therefore in need of experts to determine their overall disability profile.”

The lawyers turned to several human rights organizations in a plea for assistance. Generally, the request was either refused or simply ignored. “We need doctors to volunteer to examine the plaintiffs and also financial assistance to pay for their expenses”, Kedem stresses. “Thus far we have only received a response from the Blue and White Human Rights Movement, from the Honenu organization, and from the Public Committee Against Torture in Israel. The remaining organizations refused to help, claiming that they only assist Palestinians who sue the State of Israel.”[…]

Iran Arrests 29 Women as Headscarf Protests Intensify

Tehran (AFP) — Tehran police have arrested 29 women for appearing in public without a headscarf as protests against the dress code in force since the Islamic revolution of 1979 intensify, Iranian media reported Friday.

Those arrested were accused of public order offences and referred to the state prosecutor’s office, the Fars, ILNA and Tasnim news agencies reported without elaborating.

Chief prosecutor Mohammad Jafar Montazeri had played down the escalating protests on Wednesday, saying they were “trivial” and “childish” moves possibly incited by foreigners.

He had been asked about a woman detained earlier this week for standing on a pillar box in a busy street waving her headscarf on the end of a stick.

Unprecedented images of at least 11 women protesting the same way had been widely shared on social media.

A prominent human rights lawyer told AFP on Tuesday that one of the detained women had her bail set at more than $100,000 (80,000 euros)…

Vehicle Catches Fire, Crashes Into Pedestrians in Downtown Shanghai

Beijing (CNN) A 40-year-old man lost control of his vehicle and plowed into pedestrians on a busy Shanghai street Friday morning, after the van he was driving caught fire, authorities said.

Eighteen people were injured, including the driver surnamed Chen, when the van mounted the sidewalk at an intersection in downtown Shanghai around 9 a.m., Shanghai police said in a statement.

The driver is currently in a coma and was the only person seriously hurt in the incident, the Shanghai city government press office said. Nine have already left the hospital, while the others were described as “lightly injured.”

Chen, a worker at a Shanghai metal product company, was smoking and driving while carrying hazardous material “illegally,” police said. Authorities also said that Chen had been illegally delivering liquid gas in recent years.

The People’s Daily, a state-controlled newspaper, reported that the van was carrying a number of gas tanks at the time of the accident…

The Carabinieri in nearby Macerata were able to identify the Nigerian in connection with the murder after examining CCTV footage from the area.

Investigators say that the 18-year-old had been living at a drug addiction recovery centre since October but had suddenly left the centre last Monday. Using a variety of sources, from CCTV footage to witness testimony, they were able to determine that the 29-year-old drug dealer was the last person to see the young woman alive.

Forensic investigators from Rome were dispatched to the residence of the migrant, who was living in Italy on an expired visa. They were able to find clothes belonging to the victim, some of which were soaked with blood.

The Fourteen Catholic Senators Who Enabled Late Term Abortion

Fourteen of our senators who identify publicly as Catholics voted against a bill that would outlaw late term abortion.

[For anyone who is unfamiliar with this procedure, there is a video at the URL]

Remember the baby feels pain at this stage as he is dismembered.

The senators who voted to allow this to continue in America are:

  • Maria Cantwell — Washington
  • Susan Collins -Maine
  • Dick Durbin — Illinois
  • Kirsten Gillibrand — New York
  • Heidi Heitkamp — North Dakota
  • Tim Kaine — Virginia
  • Patrick Leahy — Vermont
  • Ed Markey — Massachussetts
  • Catherine Cortez Masto — Nevada
  • Claire McCaskill — Missouri
  • Bob Menendez — New Jersey
  • Lisa Murkowski — Alaska
  • Patty Murray — Washington
  • Jack Reed — Rhode Island

If they had voted as their faith (and their common humanity would dictate) this cruel and horrible practice would have been outlawed.

Therefore these fourteen can be blamed for what happened [January 29th,2018]

[NOTE: The whole list would appear to be Democrats first, Catholics second]

    • So what the fuss, if secular, it should be better than a madrasa and may support the “traditional Islam” far from the Salafi/Wahabbi version.

      • We have a joke about a priest on a nudist beach:
“You’re a priest (batushka), either take off the cross or put on your underpants”
Either Islam or secularism! These concepts do not mix!
