One in Five Unemployed as PM Vows to ‘Vindicate’ Greek Sacrifice
Greece’s statistics service ELSTAT said the jobless rate eased to 20.7 percent in October, however with one in five still unemployed time is running out for the so-called “lost generation”.
New data on the debt-riddled Greek state shows the number of registered unemployed at 990.288 people, with younger persons aged up to 24 bearing the brunt of being out of work.
But life is yet to improve for Greece’s “lost generation” with those aged 15 to 24, still suffering a jobless rate of 40.8 per cent although this is down from 44.4 percent a year ago.
Greece’s jobless rate, which hit a record high of 27.9 percent in September 2013, has been coming down in recent months but remains the highest in the Eurozone.

Tucker Carlson Asks ‘Why the Outrage?’ on Trump’s ‘S***hole’ Comments
Fox News host Tucker Carlson defended President Donald Trump’s Thursday comments about immigrants coming to America from “s***hole” countries, and said the media’s visceral outrage over the story was preposterous.
Carlson was speaking with Jose Parra, the Latin communications director for former President Barack Obama’s presidential campaign, and said he had visited Haiti and doesn’t understand why people were offend by Trump’s accurate characterization.
“The idea that you are not allowed to say that they’re pretty crummy countries, Haiti for example or El Salvador, I’ve been in both of them — that’s why people are leaving them to come here,” Carlson said. “So I don’t understand what the sin is. You’re not allowed to point out that other countries aren’t as good places to live as America?”

Fox News has confirmed that Washington Post reporter Janell Ross was placed on leave after speaking at a top-secret meeting of liberal leaders last November, where Democratic donors including billionaire George Soros outlined the future of their progressive agenda.
Ross’ verified Twitter account has been silent since Dec. 1 and the paper hasn’t published a story from her since Nov. 29, a week after she was outed as a participant at the Democratic Alliance. Citing “two people familiar with the matter,” CNN first reported that she was placed on leave and that her “return to the Post is viewed as unlikely.”

EU Court to Rule Whether Facebook Should Seek and Destroy Hate Speech
Austrian lawmakers bump up row over criminal content
The European Court of Justice has been asked to decide whether Facebook should actively search for hate speech posted by users.
The referral was made by the Austrian Supreme Court as a result of a case brought by former Austrian Green party leader Eva Glawischnig.
Glawischnig was subject to hate speech on the platform by a fake account, and brought a suit against Facebook in 2016.
Last year, an Austrian appeals court ruled in her favour, saying that Facebook must remove the posts globally — rather than just blocking them in that member state.
Since then, Facebook — and other platforms — have come under increased pressure to take rapid action against hate or terrorist content.
[Comment: And the globalist puppet politicians get to define what is or is not hate speech.]

London Mayor Flips on ‘Stop and Search’ After Breitbart Exposé of Capital Crime Epidemic
London Mayor Sadiq Khan has performed a U-turn on his campaign promise to end “stop and search”, stating his Metropolitan Police will “significantly increase” their use of the powers in an attempt to crackdown on the city’s surging knife crime problem.
Before being elected in 2015, Mr. Khan promised to “do everything in my power to cut stop and search” if he became Mayor. On Thursday, however, he admitted it was a “vital tool for police to keep our communities safe”.
The change of tone comes just over a week after data revealed surging levels of violent crime in London last year — homicides were up 27.1 per cent, with youth homicides up 70 per cent, and serious youth violence up 19 per cent.
Robberies also rose by 33.4 per cent and burglaries by 18.7 per cent under Mr. Khan’s watch in 2016/7.

Scotland: Police Hunt After Suspicious Package Sparks Alert in Edinburgh
Police are hunting the person responsible for a suspicious package which sparked a major alert near Edinburgh Castle.
A controlled explosion was carried out by bomb disposal officers at 20:10 on Thursday following the discovery of the item in King’s Stables Road.

The package was discovered by park workers at about 17:40 on Thursday.
A police spokesperson said: “In the current climate, we are treating this with the utmost seriousness and a full investigation into the circumstances is under way to identify the person responsible.

UK Manufacturing Growing at Fastest Rate in a Decade After Brexit Vote
British manufacturing has grown at its fastest rate in a decade, roughly a year and a half after the Brexit vote, exceeding gloomy predictions and forcing an economic think tank to upgrade growth estimates for 2017.
The sector expanded at the fastest rate since early 2008 after recording seven consecutive months of growth up to November, data from the Office of Nation Statistics (ONS) reveals.
Industrial output rose by 0.4 per cent in November alone, contributing to a 1.2 per cent rise in industrial production — a measure of output from manufacturing, energy, and mining industries — in the three months to November.
The three-month average of growth was the largest in nearly a decade.
Britain’s trade deficit shrank in the three-month period, and in the year to November export growth outstripped imports by 0.8 per cent and the value of goods exported to non-European Union (EU) nations increased by £2.3 billion.
The National Institute of Economic and Social Research (NIESR) has also changed its GDP growth estimates to 0.6 per cent for the final quarter of 2017, up from 0.4 per cent in the previous three months.

This week, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told foreign diplomats that the Jewish state had prevented terror attacks using hijacked aircraft in Europe.

The prime minister clarified, “Some of these could have been mass attacks, of the worst kind that you have experienced on the soil of Europe and even worse, because they involve civil aviation. Israel has prevented that, and thereby helped save many European lives.”

Caroline Glick: Trump’s Quarterly Iran Headache
It’s that time of the year again. In accordance with the Iranian Nuclear Agreement Review Act, by Sunday US President Donald Trump must either certify that Iran is complying with the nuclear deal his predecessor Barack Obama concluded with the Iranian regime, or he must announce that Iran is breaching the accord.
Last October, after angrily certifying compliance at his two previous deadlines, Trump decertified Iranian compliance.
Trump could have walked away from the nuclear deal by reinstating the sanctions on Iran’s oil and gas industries, its banking sector and other foundations of Iran’s economy that were lifted when the deal was implemented. Doing so would have effectively killed the nuclear accord.
But Trump opted instead to pass the burden on to Congress. He gave lawmakers 90 days to put together a new sanctions bill that he would sign that could punish Iran’s misbehavior while presumably leaving the nuclear deal intact.
Congress failed to respond. No sanctions were passed. Democrats, keen to protect Obama’s most significant foreign policy legacy, have promised to filibuster any sanctions bill.
So now it is Trump’s problem to deal with, again. And he faces the same options.
Trump can stick with the deal, or he can walk away.
Media reports from the past two days indicate that Trump has opted to stick with the deal. Trump’s National Security Adviser H.R. McMaster has convinced him to certify Iranian compliance.
Reportedly, Trump’s biggest problem with the nuclear deal is not that it gives Iran a clear path to the bomb inside of a decade. It is that the Iranian Nuclear Agreement Review Act requires him to revisit the issue every 90 days.
The certification process puts Trump in a no-win situation. If he certifies Iranian compliance, he angers his supporters and the overwhelming majority of Republican lawmakers. If he refuses to certify Iranian compliance, he will face the wrath of the media, the Washington foreign policy establishment, and the European Union…

‘Very Brave Syrian Reporter’ In WaPo Tweet Unmasked as Jihadi Supporter
The Washington Post bureau chief in Beirut commended the courage of a battlefield reporter in Syria, despite being informed the man is in fact a radical Islamist. She has refused to take back her words.
On January 11, Liz Sly retweeted a video featuring a man with a microphone cowering in front a camera in the middle of an airstrike, purportedly shot near the northern Syrian city of Idlib, a current focal point of fighting between the opposition and government forces.
“This Syrian journalist, standing in an open field while bombs explode all around him, is very lucky to be alive. No flak jacket or helmet. You can barely hear him above the explosions. He and his colleagues are very brave,” wrote Sly, who is responsible for the newspaper’s Syria and Iraq coverage.
“This Syrian journalist’s name is Tahir al-Umar and he is with Free Syrian TV,” she added in a later post.
Sly’s description was immediately challenged by other commenters, including several journalists, who noted that the protagonist of the footage, also known as Abu Omar, is not the posterboy of journalistic veracity she makes him out to be — but an Islamist cheerleader.

Muslim Officials curtailed the Saraswati Puja Holiday in North Dinajpur primary schools in WB. Allowed it after huge Hindu Protest in Social Media.
Susmita Bhattacharia | HENB | Raiganj | Jan 11, 2018:: Two negatives make a Positive. But, have you ever heard that two Positives make a negative? But, here is the truth. Two Positive Jihadis made a negative thing in the holiday list of Uttar Dinajpur Primary schools under the District Primary School Council (DPSC).

Scotland Planning to Give Refugees the Right to Vote
The radical patriarchy running Scotland wants to give “refugees” the right to vote, insisting “it is only right.”
— From Metro.co.uk:
The Scottish Government is planning to let refugees and asylum seekers vote in the national elections.
Holyrood in Edinburgh was given new powers over running elections under the 2016 Scotland Act — and ministers are planning widespread changes.
A public consultation has been launched mooting the voting franchise for Scottish Parliament and council elections should include ‘everyone legally resident in Scotland.’
The move is being supported by the Scottish Refugee Council.
Now only British, Commonwealth and EU citizens who are resident in Scotland and are 16 or older can vote in Holyrood and council elections.
Anyone who wants to can just move to Scotland and boss around Scots whose families built the nation and lived there for generations.

Are Army Green Berets Gutting Their Standards for Women Recruits?
The famed Green Berets of the US Army Special Forces are admired and feared throughout the world. They have earned that respect through their effective operations throughout the world. Their effective operations were the results of their demanding standards, selection process, and the motivation of the Green Berets themselves.
Could that be changing?
Ray Starmann at U.S. Defense Watch has an eye-opening expose of what he believes is happening to U.S. Army Special Forces (the Green Berets). Army leadership is doggedly ramming through the 2015 Obama Administration directive to open all combat slots to females. Where is President Trump on this issue?
Reportedly standards are being relaxed because leadership wants women warriors, so that’s what they’re going to have, willy-nilly, even if it destroys readiness. Starmann writes that it was only a matter of time…
Since 2015, no woman has successfully made it through the Special Forces Qualification Course (SFQC) since Ash Carter, who with a stroke of a pen, created the single greatest disaster in US military history, the authorization for women to serve in the combat arms and special operations units.

Relying on one kind of program (progressive) without offering choices (individualism, exceptionalism) is a bad idea. You can not have critical thinking if you are only trained in one concept. You can not prepare for life’s variables if have no idea what they could be.
Using techniques to divide people with words, content and other programs have allowed the Florida schools to determine that they only expect 75% from the black community. How racist is that?
According to the new modern education the purpose of education is:
1. To replace family with school 2 To replace God with Government 3. To replace America with the UN 4. To replace choice with sustainability=control
American history is erased.
Prior experiences are gone. Adults are demonized; they know history. Seniors are called names and discounted in school. History now starts in 1865 with little discussion on Constitution or founders or the glory and struggle to bring Freedom to all. Many Schools only study the Constitution on Sept 17. As a result, most people will have no idea why the Constitution is important or what it actually says or protects. (3rd generation of indoctrination)
Today all learning is based on sustainability, a failed formula already proven wrong by their own scientists. Why is it still in our schools? Money, Power, Control. Sustainability indoctrinates: doing more and getting less. Lenin: “An educated populace will make too many demands on the government. Best we keep the people down.”
Remember: *Nothing happened randomly, *There are no coincidences, *Everything has a plan, *All plans are based on lies.
Schools Indoctrinate Global citizenship — what is that? Global citizenship means you give your life, liberty and personal property to the government. The government decides what you can have depending on your category (divisive and racist). You own nothing except what the government wants you to own. The UN Global Initiative called World Wide Common Core, now found in US schools wants education for Global Citizens. Do you? Bill Gates already admitted that Common Core is a mistake, yet we are continuing to promote its failure. Why? Education is a Billion dollar business.

Herbert Kickl says that refugees should be concentrated together within Austria.
This is the classic usage, as in military terminology, for gathering birds of one feather together. The label-governed media will do everything to wriggle out of speaking of a concentration camp.
God Almighty judges nations which have turned away from Him to do evil by flooding them with immigrants from cursed foreign lands.
Sheesh. America prospered when immigrants arrived to fill our country – and then some of them turned out to carry DNA that turned hard-working Scandinavians into idjits who have flooded Minnesota with Somalis. Minneapolis has become a fecal pesthole. Though there *are* lots of safe enclaves where only the lily-white live – just like Sweden.
God has little to do with this equation. It’s a nightmare made by socialists.
Decades ago when immigrants arrived to fill our country many were God fearing, law abiding people who paid their own way. Look at the big picture. When Israel disobeyed God they were over run with their enemies. Socialists hate God; he can use even them to provide judgement. Sweden was not a cursed foreign land………………………………….but it is now……………it is gone and how sad.
I’ve heard this attitude described as, “pathological altruism,” and it only seems to affect the liberal segments of European peoples.
Not sure how to fix the pathology – its practitioners seem to LIVE for the purpose of loving those who hate them and want them dead.
Do you know what Kick really said? I cite following from
http://zuerst.de/2018/01/12/steilvorlage-fuer-gesinnungswaechter-fpoe-innenminister-kickl-will-asylbewerber-konzentriert-unterbringen/
which I translate to:
Then followed, according to Austria Presse Agentur the phrase: “It’s only a term for a suitable infrastructure, that Grundversorgungszentren, where we are able to keep those who apply for asylum concentrated at a single place, because it should be our common interest to reach an adequate result very, very quickly.”
Great attention to news the Main Stream Media will not report!
The “event” with the Femen member was president Zeman going to vote. Acording to an expert, his bodyguards underestimated the situation as they arrived on place thirty minutes before the president and didn’t use the time to check everybody present. The woman was hanging out with newspaper guys (what a surprise). The bodyguards aparently handled the protection and arrest really well. However, as the expert pointed out, had she carried a knife or a gun, it could’ve gotten very nasty very fast.
Following our presidential elections: the voting places closed at 2PM (it is currently 2:11PM) and have began counting.
Our national television (Česká televize, Czech TV, their CT24 channel, to be exact) is now following it live.
Acording to an expert, 40% of president Zeman’s voters never considered any other candidate.
Well, she might not have been armed, but she had other assets with which to blow men’s minds. I hope she gets a light sentence for a very light “crime”.
How could they have “checked” her? Maybe searched her shirt for suspiciously loose buttons that would permit her to perform a ‘bodice-ripper’ using a flannel shirt??
Good news re the Zeman voters. It sounds similar to Trump’s loyal voter numbers, though our press would never give up that kind of information. The more The Swampians try to overturn the USS Trump, the more loyal his followers become.
Aparently she’s facing up to two years in prison and they should’ve checked the newspaper guys for their professional ID’s (no idea how those passes are called, but they are mandatory for them here) and probably check the others for ID’s and weapons, I believe the expert even mentioned leading everyone aside the comittee and newspaper guys outside the room while he’s in. But I have to say that it would be highly unusual to emptying the room beforehand.
I believe Mr. Zeman has a steady voter base ever since he made his name in the 90’s. Some of them even uncaring for any missteps he makes.
His opposition on the other hand, they can rip their bum up to get some dirt on him. Especially the media, as he despises them and calls them out for spreading misinformation.
Zeman looks old. Unfortunately, I dying breed. But maybe that allows him to say what he likes, rather than collect brownie points for another job down the line.
I’m told the “older-than-he-is” look is a consequence of diabetes, which he battled in the past few years. Either way his doctors had recently told us he’s completely healthy, the (now mild) diabetes and a problem in the legs aside. He is 73, btw.
And he did retire in the early 2000’s, but then he came back saying that he can no longer witness the deterioration of our politic scene. At least as far as I remember that correctly.
Hmmmm.Hilarious … That’s how is done in CEE..:-))..

That *is* funny! How come there were so many security/police on hand to bring down that rambunctious girl before we could get a glimpse of what she attempted to display?
Surely she is the epitome of “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun”?? Though we never got the frontal shot she was obviously aiming for, her behavior was nonetheless titillating.
Thanks for the laugh.

Brilliant, Plod and the CPS! How many do you expect to still be in the UK when this case comes to a resolution – or is that the plan? Easier to kick this can down the road I suppose than waiting until you had sufficient evidence to charge them and thus have to name those who you don’t like to name.
Yassmin Abdel-Magied needs to learn the history of Islam. It spread by ruthless warfare and eliminated all opposition. Only when they were firmly in control, and needed the jizya taxes, did they show any tolerance. They brought no advantages to their subjects, whereas European Imperialism modernized and liberalized their colonies.
Colonialism and imperialism are a-okay when non-white, non-Christian peoples engage in such activities.
What European “imperialism” failed to do was to robustly check local corruption. They allowed it to continue as long as it didn’t interfere with European objectives. Corruption is endemic in former European colonies.
It’s a way of life, unchanged for centuries, particularly in all Muslim excrement apertures.
“European Imperialism modernized and liberalized their colonies.”
We are almost two centuries after Macaulay’s English Education Act in India (1835). India, today, is a bit modernised with a claim of having the biggest democracy on earth. Maybe Indians exaggerate on their achievements and maybe every individual has different views on Indian progress but India, overall, is in a better situation than it was in 1835.
However, the Islamic part of India, Pakistan, is still the same mess. Few prime ministers in that country get a chance to live their lives to the end, most explode in the office. Newton’s first law of motion in Pakistan schools reads something like “A moving body will continue moving unless Allah orders other”. When allowed into England, they start kidnapping daughters of the former emperor and the Paki mayor of London advises Macaulay’s countrymen to “get used to it”.
People of the same race, same background, both subject to English Education Act. After two centuries one group gains some respect internationally, the other is just a shame to humanity, goat-molesters who carry i-phones. Apparently not all gain from English libraries equally. Where the difference comes from?
Just fancy that rag head Yasmin saying that white colonists had put under slavery the “coloured “races. What mob have been abducting whites , negroes, goats and children for the last sixteen hundred years. Makes you want to cry that her rantings were reported at all.

Nobody talks about this in the press. This information can be found only on purpose and by indirect links. There is creeping Islamization. The awakening will be awful.
So if anyone’s interested (though I assume your local news will inform it too), Czechia will have the second round of presidential elections in two weeks.
President Zeman won the first round with 38,57%. Second was professor Drahoš with 26,6%.
And because apparently no elections can be done without unnecessary drama nowadays, all the losers are encouraging their voters to support Mr. Drahoš in the second round, as opposed to leaving it to them.
President Zeman said he’s happy about being in first place because in the previous elections he was second. He thanked his voters and said he’s certain the voters of the losers are intelligent enough to make a decision between him and Mr. Drahoš on their own. He also said he won’t mind participating in a TV face-off in the upcoming days.
Personally I have to admit I don’t understand the “hype” about Mr. Drahoš, because his vocal skills are rather poor. I would’ve welcomed a different opponent to president Zeman. However, Mr. Drahoš is everything a young leftie could wish for and throughout the campaign, I had the feeling he just got into the run to play the opposing role of our current president.
Let’s see how it goes in two weeks.
