First American Citizen to be Convicted of Joining ISIS Gets 20 Years

The first American citizen to be convicted of successfully joining the Islamic State has been sentenced to 20 years in prison.

Mohamad Khweis, unlike the dozens of other people in the United States who failed to join ISIS and were subsequently charged, actually made it to Syria, but after just three months tried to escape and was captured by Kurdish forces, The Washington Post reports.

2 Dead After Shooting Inside Cobourg Hospital, SIU Investigating

Ontario’s Special Investigations Unit is now on the scene after shooting late Friday

Ontario’s police watchdog says a man and a woman are dead after a shooting inside an emergency room of a hospital in Cobourg, Ont.

The Special Investigations Unit is now on the scene at the Northumberland Hills Hospital and has taken over the investigation.

SIU spokesperson Jason Gennaro told CBC News that Cobourg Police were initially called to the hospital’s emergency room for the sound of gunshots at about 11 p.m. on Friday.

When police arrived, they encountered a man. Two officers then fired their weapons, Gennaro said.

A man, 70, was struck by bullets and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officers then found a woman, 76, who was dead.

Ontario Provincial Police are now investigating the woman’s death.

Northumberland Hills Hospital confirmed in a statement that there was a “serious incident” in its emergency department that involved a weapon.

It said the scene has been secured, there is no danger to the public, and patients, caregivers and staff members at the hospital are safe. Care in all other areas of the hospital is continuing as normal, it said.

Due to the investigation, it said patients to its emergency department are being redirected to other hospitals in the area…•

‘Muhammad’ Is the Future of Europe

by Giulio Meotti

During the next thirty years, the population of Africa is expected to increase by one billion.

The French economist Charles Gave recently predicted that France will have a Muslim majority by 2057 — and this estimate did not even take into consideration the number of expected new migrants.

No doubt, Africa’s exploding population will try to reach the shores of a wealthy, senile Europe, which is already undergoing an internal demographic revolution. Europe, to retain its culture, will need to make hard-headed decisions, not just amuse itself to death. The question is: Will Europe protect its borders and civilization before it is submerged?

The István Markó Interview: Possibly the Best Thing You Will Ever Read on Global Warming. PT 1: The Science.

Maybe the biggest of all the lies put out by the global warming scaremongers is that the science is on their side. No it isn’t. And if you’re in any doubt at all you should read this interview with the brilliant scientist István Markó. It tells you all you need to know about the science of global warming.

Dr. Markó, who sadly died earlier this year aged only 61, was a professor and researcher in organic chemistry at the Université Catholique de Louvain, Belgium’s largest French-speaking university. More importantly for the purposes of this interview, he was one of the world’s most outspoken and well-informed climate skeptics, who contributed to several articles on the subject for Breitbart News.

Before he died, he gave an extensive interview to the French journalist Grégoire Canlorbe. Here are highlights of the English translation. As you’ll see, he doesn’t pull his punches.

The Fulford File: The Rest of the Drew Fraser Story— Sudanese Refugees ARE Crime-Prone

[…] Needless to say, Fraser lost his job for writing that well-expressed letter to the paper—see Wikipedia or Race row professor suspended for ‘safety’, By Jano Gibson and Tim Dick, SMH, July 29, 2005.

That was twelve years ago. So have the Sudanese been behaving themselves in Australia since then?

Oh boy, have they ever! And by “behaving themselves”, I mean “behaving like Sudanese refugees.” …

The Howard government Immigration Minister, Kevin Andrews, publicly warned that youth crime rates among the Melbourne South Sudanese youth community was growing. Mr. Andrews said at the time that he intended to cut back on taking in so-called refugees from South Sudan because they were not settling in and adjusting into the Australia way of life and crime rates among Sudanese was too high.

Instead of listening to the message the media chose to scream abuse and the ethnic lobby groups, along with politicians and the Victorian Equal Opportunity and Human Right Commission branded Mr. Andrews a racist.

Kevin Andrews was right and a decade on we now see Sudanese youth crime figures in Victoria that are staggering. In 2016 in the Greater Dandenong region there were 14,000 home invasions, carjackings, property theft, property damage and armed assaults recorded in the year to March. In 2015 there were 11,000 such crimes recorded. It is said that the figures for Latrobe were even higher and the crime spree continues to gain momentum in the first month of this year.

Now, at the beginning of 2017 the Sudanese youth crime spree is in full swing and the best that the leaderless Victoria government and the Victorian Police Command can come up with is a promise to employ 3000 more police and introduce new laws. In the meantime, crime is increasing and has long since turned to violence involving guns and other weapons while the Police Command and the government carry on with their PC approach and their reluctance to mouth the words black or Sudanese.

Police chief Graham Ashton admits that his officers on the ground are, “arresting the same young people again and again and again.” If that is not an admission of failure then I don’t know what is (it also raises the question as to the judiciary’s part in this dangerous shemozzle). [More]

Sudanese crime is out of control, by Jack Cade, Australian Morning Mail, January 21, 2017

Former Immigration Minister Kevin Andrews certainly deserves an apology. But so, as I pointed out earlier, does former university professor Drew Fraser. And reinstatement.

  1. On Monday’s possible charges, arrests and indictments from the Mueller team: From what I have learned about the Uranium One scandal under the Obama administration when Hilary was Secretary of State, a scandal that has also involved to some extent the actions of Mueller as then FBI director, it is my humble opinion that Mueller should be charging himself, if he was honest, and along with anyone else he will be fraudulently using to charge from an investigation, that to any impartial investigator would have soon realized had no substance, and just to take the heat off the Clintons and Obama.

The man is a criminal and an idiot!

  2. Finland will not recognize Catalonia. That would undermine Finland’s own opposition to the fledgling independence movement in Åland – archipelago that Finland will not let go due to its strategic importance. What will happen, is that the MP will be quietly put into his place and nothing more will be said about the Catalonia.

  3. Re: Immigration. “Eternal borders”, eh? So that’s why the EU (and the UK, I’m ashamed to say) is against Catalan independence, and Kurdish, and “Palestinian”- oh, wait, they’re for the latter. Catalans and Kurds are ancient peoples, “Palestinians” not so much.

  4. Mueller moved the proceedings from Northern Virginia to D.C. so he could have a remarkably community that voted 95% against Trump.
