Record Low Unemployment… at Least Among Native Swedes

Unemployment among native Swedes fell to 3.9 percent in August — the lowest level since August 2008 before the financial crisis, according to statistics by national job agency Arbetsförmedlingen.

But unemployment among foreign-born people, who make up the bulk of The Local’s readers, is moving in the opposite direction.

A total of 22 percent of people born outside of Sweden were registered as unemployed at the end of August.

In total, 357,525 people, or 7.4 percent, are currently registered as unemployed, the same percentage as last year.

American Flag Unfurled at Pentagon to Commemorate 9/11 Anniversary

At sunrise this morning, the American flag was unfurled at the Pentagon to commemorate the 16th anniversary of the September 11 attacks.

Nearly 3,000 people were killed when terrorists slammed hijacked planes into the World Trade Center, the Pentagon and a field near Shanksville, Pennsylvania, on September 11, 2001. 184 lives were lost at the Pentagon.

The day after the attack, firefighters draped an American flag over the gaping hole in the Pentagon that was left behind.

Bannon Slams GOP Establishment, Bush Administration ‘Idiots’ On 60 Minutes

Stephen Bannon is the only “mainstream” figure other than Donald Trump who represents anything real

Steve Bannon gave a wide-ranging, must watch interview to 60 Minutes which aired Sunday.

Politico accurately ranked Bannon number one on their political movers and shakers list early this week and this interview makes it clear why it’s much deserved. Stephen Bannon is the only “mainstream” figure other than Donald Trump who represents anything real.

The most interesting part is where Bannon says Trump embraced the establishment at the beginning of his presidency for the sake of practicality so he could staff a government and attempt to govern.

Bitter Hillary: Trump Won Because He Comforted ‘Millions of White People’

Stands by ‘deplorables’ comment; Labels Trump’s inauguration speech as ‘cry from the white nationalist gut’

In an interview to promoter her book about losing the election to Donald Trump, Hillary Clinton claimed that she lost because Trump ran a campaign of nostalgia and it was a ‘comfort’ to ‘millions of white people’.

“He was quite successful in referencing the nostalgia that would give hope, comfort, settle grievances, for millions of people who were upset about gains that were made by others,” Clinton stated during the CBS interview, aired Sunday.

“What you’re saying is millions of white people,” interviewer Jane Pauley stated.

“Millions of white people,” Clinton confirmed. “Yeah, millions of white people.”

Consequences of North Korean EMP Attack ‘Could be Truly Nation-Ending’

Center for Security Policy President Frank Gaffney discussed the North Korean nuclear missile crisis with SiriusXM host Alex Marlow on Wednesday’s Breitbart News Daily.

Gaffney said “it may or may not be true today” that North Korea can launch a nuclear warhead with intercontinental range, “but it’s for sure the case that that’s imminent, if not actually true now.”

“The really worrying thing, which Kim Jong-un has now made explicit, is the distinct possibility long warned about by me, and members of our Secure the Grid Coalition — Jim Woolsey, former director of Central Intelligence; Newt Gingrich, former Speaker of the House; Ted Cruz, senator; and many others — is an electromagnetic pulse attack,” he said.

Hurricane Irma Live Updates: FPL Restores Power for 200,000, Officials Say ‘Don’t Go Home Yet’

Hurricane Irma left a trail of damage across South Florida: flooded streets, downed trees, crushed cars, collapsed cranes, leaky homes. The long slog of assessing the damage across the region began Monday. Miami-Dade and Broward counties were spared the worst of the storm, but the Florida Keys were hit hard. Ten people were declared dead in Cuba. Now, Jacksonville is flooding.

Stay with the Miami Herald for the latest reports.

Gov. Scott: Middle Keys got it the worst

4:58 p.m.: Gov. Rick Scott said the damage was not as bad as he had expected — until he saw the devastation in the Middle Keys. Scott spoke with reporters at Opa Locka Airport after an aerial surveillance of Southwest Florida and the Keys.

Asked where he saw the worst damage from Irma, Scott said it was the Keys north of Key West to Marathon.

“When we got to the Keys, we saw a lot of boats washed ashore,” he said. “Almost every trailer park, everything was overturned.”

Scott said residents in the Florida Keys have no water, no sewer and no electricity, and that it will be days or weeks, maybe longer before those services are restored.

Hurricane Expert Klotzbach: #Irma at Landfall Comes in 7th Behind 1935 Labor Day Storm

While this won’t be of much comfort for those that are squarely in it’s path right now, it is a small bit of good news. Dr. Philip Klotzbach has compiled rankings of both hurricane Irma and Harvey when they made landfall. Compared to the 1935 Labor Day storm, Irma is a distant 7th, tied with the 1928 Lake Okeechobee storm.

He writes:

Table of all hurricanes with landfall pressures <= 940 mb at time of U.S. landfall. #Irma was 929 mb and #Harvey was 938 mb. …

[Table.]

With Irma ranked 7th, and Harvey ranked 18th, it’s going to be tough for climate alarmists to try connecting these two storms to being driven by CO2/global warming. But they’ll do it anyway.

Leftists Celebrate the Death of Eric Bolling’s Son

“I knew [Eric Bolling] was a POS, but it is incredibly rare to see karma deliver such harsh justice,” wrote @Donnie2Scoop. “The teen son deserved better.”

LSE Bob Ward: Hurricanes Are President Trump’s Fault

Guest essay by Eric Worrall

LSE Grantham Institute Communications Director Bob Ward has written a post for the Guardian in which he admits he’s not sure of how anthropogenic CO2 might be impacting hurricanes, but he thinks President Trump should answer for them anyway.

Irma and Harvey lay the costs of climate change denial at Trump’s door

The president’s dismissal of scientific research is doing nothing to protect the livelihoods of ordinary Americans

Bob Ward

Sunday 10 September 2017 09.05 AEST

As the US comes to terms with its second major weather disaster within a month, an important question is whether the devastation caused by hurricanes Harveyand Irma will convince Donald Trump and his administration of the reality of climate change.

Mr. Bannon said he admires Mr. Kissinger and has read all his books, but none of that swayed him from his preference for confrontation over diplomacy.

“A hundred years from now, this is what they’ll remember — what we did to confront China on its rise to world domination,” he said in an interview, previewing the themes in his speech.

“China right now is Germany in 1930,” Mr. Bannon said. “It’s on the cusp. It could go one way or the other. The younger generation is so patriotic, almost ultranationalistic.”

Steve Bannon: Trump Administration’s ‘Original Sin’ Was Embracing the Establishment

Former White House chief strategist Steve Bannon said the Trump administration’s biggest mistake came early on when they dropped their “drain the swamp” attitude for the sake of simply forming a government.

“In the 48 hours after we won, there’s a fundamental decision that was made,” Bannon said to Charlie Rose in a “60 Minutes” interview. “You might call it the original sin of the administration. We embraced the establishment. I mean, we totally embraced the establishment.”

Steve Bannon: ‘The Swamp’ Will Take Decades to Drain

Former White House strategist Stephen K. Bannon revealed in a Sunday interview that he believes it will take decades to drain the swamp of Washington, D.C.

“The permanent political class, as represented by both parties … you’re not going to drain that in eight months,” Bannon said during an interview with CBS News anchor Charlie Rose for 60 Minutes. “You’re not going to drain it in two terms. This is going to take ten, 15, 20 years of relentlessly going after it.”

Bannon pointed out that nine of the most wealthy counties in the country circled Washington D.C., explaining that within 50 years, the permanent political class had turned it into big profits.

“The swamp is a business model,” he said, pointing to the political donors, consultants, K Street lobbyists, and politicians working in Washington, D.C.

What Happened to “What Happened”: Amazon Slashes Hillary’s Book Price 40% Before it Hits Shelves

Last Friday, in an attempt at humor, we shared a satirical note from The Onion suggesting that Hillary had already begun work on a follow-up book, entitled “What Also Happened,” intended to define precisely who was to blame for the failure of her first book, “What Happened.”

Alas, if prices are any indicator of demand, which they’re pretty much universally accepted to be unless you’re discussing minimum wages with Bernie Sanders, then Hillary may want to double down on efforts to rush out the sequel as both Amazon and Walmart have decided to slash prices of “What Happened” by 40% before the books even hit shelves.

AfD Manifesto ‘Violates’ The Constitution — German Justice Minister

Justice Minister Heiko Maas has warned that several parts of the anti-immigration party’s election platform are illegal. AfD party candidates are facing accusations of racism and a possible charge of incitement.

Amid the rising fortunes of the populist Alternative for Germany (AfD) party in pre-election opinion polls, the party on Monday faced renewed scrutiny of its manifesto when a senior minister claimed its program flouts the Basic Law (German constitution).

Justice Minister Heiko Maas warned that the AfD’s religious, family, criminal and European policies are in clear violation of Articles 1, 3, 4 and 23 of the charter.

He singled out a blanket ban on minarets — the towers on mosques from which the muezzin calls the faithful to prayer — which the anti-immigration, anti-Islam party has promised to introduce if it were to win the September 24 federal election.

Austria Halts Anti-Terror Wall Plans After Outcry

Austria’s chancellery on Thursday halted the construction of anti-terror walls outside its office in Vienna after critics slammed the government for failing to provide similar protective measures in main tourist areas.

Works began last month to build five large concrete blocks outside the historic Hofburg palace which houses the offices of the chancellor and the president.

The barriers — each eight metres long, 80 centimetres high and one metre wide — were intended to withstand potential ramming attacks by vehicles, used as weapons in terror attacks across Europe over the past year.

British Red Cross ‘Too White, ‘ Chief Exec Calls Words ‘British’ And ‘Cross’ A ‘Challenge’

Head of charity disparages white volunteers, employees

British Red Cross chief Mike Adamson has claimed the charity struggled to deal with the Grenfell disaster because staff and volunteers are too white.

“There is a risk that in a very diverse community like Grenfell, an organisation with the words ‘British’ and ‘Cross’ in its title is confused with a Christian establishment organisation,” he wrote, in a blog for the New Philanthropy Capital think tank.

Though stating that the charity is “completely impartial” in its work, Adamson added: “There is no escaping the fact that with shining exceptions, such as our refugee services, we are nowhere near as diverse as we need to be in our volunteer base, our staffing or our leadership.”

European Union Calls for Massive Internet Censorship

A leaked document from the European Union reveals that the EU presidency is calling for massive internet censorship and filtering.

European Digital Rights (EDRi) reported on Wednesday that a Council of the European Union document leaked by Statewatch on August 30 reveals that Estonia, which is currently seated as the EU Presidency, has been pushing other member states to adopt all manner of internet surveillance.

The proposals, if adopted, call for European countries to follow in China’s footsteps regarding online censorship.

The directive calls on the EU to enact even stricter copyright laws, which EDRi says pushes pre-existing terms “further into the realms of illegality.”

The text contains “two options for each of the two most controversial proposals: the so-called ‘link tax’ or ancillary copyright, and the upload filter.” EDRi says both directives would be harmful to a free and open Internet.

Finnish Police Chief: Terrorists Should be Allowed in Schools to “Expand Tolerance”

“Even a terrorist can benefit from good learning!”

A Finnish police superintendent has caused controversy by suggesting that asylum seekers with terrorist sympathies should be allowed into schools to “expand tolerance”.

The discussion arose in response to the August 18 Turku terror attack during which a 22-year-old Moroccan asylum seeker, Abderrahman Bouanane, stabbed 10 people, killing two.

The incident was the first terror attack in Finland since the end of World War II…

Asked whether he thought that would pose a security risk to children, Taponen said he had confidence in teachers to guarantee their safety.

“I do not think that even a parody account tweets like that,” responded another individual. “You would think it too stupid or extreme to be even parody.”

The idea of “tolerance” expanding to the re-integration of terrorists into the community, often at the expense of the native population, has become a common theme in both Finland and Sweden.

France: Terror Attacks Changed Parisians, But Failed to Defeat Them

“When I’m in the cinema, I tend not to linger just behind the entrance, and when I’m in the restaurant, I don’t like to have my back to the window… I don’t feel safe,” said 39-year-old Aurore Humez, who admitted it was “horrible” to be so fearful.

Parisians these days are used to the sight of security railings erected in front of concert halls and concrete bollards placed on pavements and outside schools to prevent ramming attacks by cars or trucks.

Armed soldiers, typically patrolling in groups of three, also now seem to be part of the city’s landscape.

France’s Le Pen ‘Determined’ To Revitalise Far Right

France’s far-right leader Marine Le Pen, whose National Front (FN) party emerged weakened and divided from this year’s elections, said on Saturday she was “determined” to revitalise her movement.

Le Pen garnered 34 percent of the vote against 66 percent for Macron in the May presidential runoff.

In June, the anti-EU, anti-immigration FN went on to win eight seats in the 577-seat parliament. While the result was a historic high for the FN, many within the party were deeply disappointed, faulting Le Pen for running a poor campaign.

The party split over its key policy of wanting to scrap the euro — seen as too risky by many voters, particularly from the older generation.

Three men, “probably of African origin,” broke into the house of Roger Pinto, the president of the France-based SIONA group, which fights anti-Semitism and advocates for the rights of the Jews, the National Bureau for Vigilance against Anti-Semitism (BNVCA) said.

With schools and offices shut for the day, children wore Catalan flags and rode on their parents’ shoulders. The elderly sang an anthem banned during their youth under the dictatorship of Gen. Francisco Franco.

Up to a million people rallied Monday in Barcelona, the capital of northeastern Spain’s Catalonia region, for the Diada — Catalonia’s national day. It commemorates the region’s loss of autonomy to Spain, after the 1714 Siege of Barcelona.

Netherlands: Police Struggling to Improve Diversity of New Recruits

Police are struggling to meet a target of recruiting 25% of new officers from the minority ethnic population by the end of next year. Ethnic minority groups remain suspicious of the service, according to research published in AD, with more than half ruling out a career with the force. Many young people who responded to the survey said they had experienced discrimination or viewed the police as a ‘racist’ and ‘white’ entity. ‘You hear about them behaving recklessly and shooting at people for no reason,’ was one reply. Overall 56% of youths with a Moroccan, Turkish, Antillean or Surinamese background said they would ‘definitely not’ join the police, compared to 31% of white youngsters.

Polish Minister: Poland’s Security is More Important Than EU Decisions

Poland’s Foreign Minister Witold Waszczykowski announced his country’s intention to defy the latest European Court of Justice (ECJ) ruling that would force Poland to take in migrants.

The Polish foreign minister said that even if the European Union (EU) threatens Poland with action, the Polish government will continue to refuse to take in migrants from Greece and Italy, Der Spiegel reports.

“The security of Poland is more important than the unjustified decisions of the European institutions on refugee issues,” he said.

Mr. Waszczykowski made his remarks in reaction to a ruling by the ECJ which rejected an appeal from the Hungarian and Slovakian governments who claimed that the redistribution of migrants was not legal as it did not have unanimous consent from all member states.

The foreign minister has been backed by Poland’s prime minister, Beata Szydlo, who said that the country would flatly refuse to participate in the migrant redistribution programme. Szydlo expressed that she was not shocked by the court’s ruling but noted it “absolutely does not change the position of the Polish government with respect to migration policy”.

Remains From Viking Warrior’s Grave Identified as Female

STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN—DNA testing has revealed that a warrior’s grave discovered in the Viking-era town of Birka in the late nineteenth century contained the remains of a woman. Charlotte Hedenstierna-Jonson of Uppsala University told The Local that the woman stood about five feet, seven inches tall, and was over the age of 30 at the time of her death. She was buried with weapons, including a sword, an ax, a spear, armor-piercing arrows, a battle knife, shields, and two horses. She also had a board game, thought to have been used to try out battle tactics and strategies, in her lap.

Sweden: Stockholm is the ‘Fastest-Growing Capital in Europe’ — and Soon Its Surroundings Could Turn Into 8 New Cities

Stockholm is booming. Kjell Nordström, a famous Swedish economist, recently predicted the Greater Stockholm area will more than double in population by 2045, to 4,5 — 5 million people, as a result of accelerating urbanization.

With this in mind, Swedish Minister of Housing and Construction, Peter Eriksson, last week presented a new government report that looked at 40 different municipalities with potential to become new “Sustainable Cities”. Nine final candidates were selected, and unsurprisingly, a vast majority of them are just outside Stockholm.

Most of the shootings took place in Stockholm (79) and the southern police region which includes Malmö (61), followed by the western region which includes Gothenburg with 21 shootings.

UK: Four Jailed for Raping Girl, 16, In Ramsgate

Three men and a boy raped a girl who had asked them for directions when she got lost on a night out with friends.

The girl, 16, who cannot be named, was trying to get to a friend’s house in Ramsgate, Kent, when she was attacked and then dumped on the street.

They fulfilled their “depraved sexual desires” on the 16-year-old girl, Canterbury Crown Court heard.

Three of the men were each jailed for 14 years each and a 17-year-old boy was jailed for seven years.

The girl was found crying in the street by two people returning from a night out.

Rafiullah Hamidy, 24, of High Street, Herne Bay, Shershah Muslimyar, 21, of Hovenden Close, Canterbury, Tamin Rahmani, 38, of Northwood Road, Ramsgate, and the 17-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, all denied rape but were found guilty by a jury in May.

UK: Rotherham Muslim Rape Gang Scandal: Compensation Body Told Abuse Victim She ‘Consented’

Woodhouse, one of the most prominent survivors of the Rotherham sex-grooming scandal, is one of nearly 700 child victims of sexual abuse who have been refused payments by CICA.

Massive Russian, NATO Wargames Set to Begin Amid Mutual Accusations of Provocation

As the two old, cold war adversaries, Russia and NATO, prepare to begin massive war games to show off their respective military strengths, it was the UK’s turn to accuse Russia first of “testing the West” by conducting war games on NATO’s eastern flank in its biggest military exercise in four years. Speaking on BBC’s “The Andrew Marr Show” on Sunday, U.K. Defense Secretary Michael Fallon said that Russia’s exercise “is designed to provoke us, it’s designed to test our defenses, and that’s why we have to be strong. Russia is testing us and testing us now at every opportunity. We’re seeing a more aggressive Russia. We have to deal with that.”

In a testament to our hyperbolic times, Fallon’s statement also contained just a “little bit” of fake news: while Fallon said that more than 100,000 Russian and Belorussian troops are at the borders of North Atlantic Treaty Organization members, Russian Deputy Defense Minister Alexander Fomin said last month that the so-called Zapad 2017 exercise Sept. 14-20 involves 13,000 troops, and that the drills are “purely of a defensive nature” according to Bloomberg.

China Fossil Fuel Deadline Shifts Focus to Electric Car Race

China will set a deadline for automakers to end sales of fossil-fuel-powered vehicles, becoming the biggest market to do so in a move that will accelerate the push into the electric car market led by companies including BYD Co. and BAIC Motor Corp.

Xin Guobin, the vice minister of industry and information technology, said the government is working with other regulators on a timetable to end production and sales. The move will have a profound impact on the environment and growth of China’s auto industry, Xin said at an auto forum in Tianjin on Saturday.

The looming ban on combustion-engine automobiles will goad both local and global automakers to focus on introducing more zero-emission electric cars to help clean up smog-choked major cities.

China’s Underground Churches Head for Cover as Crackdown Closes in

To avoid becoming targets in a ramped-up government campaign, many “house” congregations are meeting in smaller groups in person and online

Enoch, a 22-year-old Christian in southern China, remembers when he could pray in front of a cross.

The church he attends every week, housed in a flat in Zhuhai, Guangdong province, used to have a door plate bearing its name, a cross on the front wall and rows of chairs in the living room.

But in November last year, worshippers decided to remove the door plate and the cross, and replaced the chairs with a couch.

“We are trying to look more like a family that are here to chat and drink tea so no one will report us to the police,” Enoch said.

Only state-approved religious organisations are allowed to operate in China, but the growing Christian community has seen numerous “house churches” thrive despite close monitoring and periodic harassment from authorities.

Merkel Reiterates Iran Deal Should be Model for Solving North Korea Crisis

German Chancellor Angela Merkel once again has stressed the 2015 Iran nuclear deal — negotiated with U.N. Security Council members and Germany — as a model for solving the North Korea crisis.

“If our participation in talks is wanted, I will say yes immediately,” Merkel said in an interview published Sunday in the Frankfurter Allgemeine Sonntagszeitung newspaper.

Merkel said a diplomatic solution was the only viable way to resolve the crisis — which has seen North Korea launch a series of missile tests as well as test what it said was a hydrogen bomb.

The actions by North Korea have antagonized the United States and its allies in the Asia-Pacific region. North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has threatened a missile attack on the U.S. territory of Guam and even the U.S. mainland — prompting warnings of retaliation, in the form of economic sanctions and possible military action, from Trump and other U.S. officials.

Swedish Police “Cannot Cope” With Huge Numbers of Rapes Since Migrants Arrived

“Activist Mommy” Suspended From Twitter Over Condemnation of Pornographic “Teen Vogue” Article

As reported earlier by The New American, Johnson had taken the lead in drawing attention to the offensive article, entitled “Anal Sex: What You Need to Know,” after it appeared July 7 on the website of Teen Vogue, a popular site and magazine for adolescent girls.

Under the guise of concern for her young readers, the article’s author, Gigi Engle, wrote that “there is a lot of stuff on the Internet about anal [sex], but most of what you’ll find is either porn or advice for experienced sexual persons looking to try something new. What about the teenagers? What about the LGBTQ young people who need to know about this for their sexual health?”

The pornographic discussion that followed prompted Johnston to take to her popular Activist Mommy website to encourage local stores and libraries to pull Teen Vogue from their shelves. “I could not believe what I was reading,” Johnston told CBN News. “And the worst part about it was that here you have adults peddling this sexual information to minors, to children.”

The campaign also led to a heated Twitter/Facebook exchange between Johnston and Picardi, that included Picardi posting a photo of himself kissing another man while holding up his middle finger. Picardi claimed that the online magazine had been “inundated with hate mail saying we promote sodomy and want teens to get AIDS,” and asked, “How can you expect young women to not get pregnant without access to reproductive health care?”

Predictably, Picardi insisted that the “backlash to this article is rooted in homophobia. It’s also laced in arcane delusion about what it means to be a young person today.” To which Johnston responded: “This has nothing to do with homophobia. This is about parents protecting their children from perversion.”

After the Twitter suspension, Johnston took to her website to point out the political selectivity with which Twitter hands out its punishments. “Of course, actual videos of children being abused can be found on Twitter,” Johnston wrote. “But calling out an editor for promoting teen sodomy is worth a suspension?”

  1. PEDDLING SODOMY TO TEENAGE GIRLS: Following her suspension by Twitter, Johnston wrote on her website that “the PC police will not rest until they have marginalized and ultimately silenced the voices of all influencers who will not submit to their leftist propaganda. Conservatives and Christians who love our country and our fellow man must get louder and bolder than ever, pushing back against Silicon Valley’s draconian censorship of truth.”

Everything we once believed is now being reversed. These online LGBT scums undermine Judeo-Christian values and then claim that somehow society changed spontaneously, and that they had no hand in it, but are now only REFLECTING that change. So typical of people too gutless to take responsibility for their actions.

According to their thinking, any act out to be normalized. Today it is LGBT. Tomorrow it will be pedophilia and after that it will be buggery. Why not?

We are all made in the image of God whether we are heterosexual or homosexual or asexual, but that doesn’t give us permission to impose our bedroom antics on teenagers.

    • The purpose is twofold – recruiting more people into the ‘alternative lifestyles’ fold and destroying Western fertility rates.

  2. A bogus refugee who raped and murdered the daughter of a top EU official broke down and asked for forgiveness at his trial in Germany today.

It destroyed his life, did it? What about her life? What about her family’s life? What about the lives of all of us who read about it?

Only God knows whether he is truly sorry. But in any case, if he is, he ought to embrace his prison sentence, despite knowing that it is not sufficient punishment for his crime. Nothing would be.

    • Actually DiMu I can think of one thing that would be. Execution. Take a card out of the ISIS deck. They have some very creative ways to execute people.

      • The only reason not to execute this rapist was to not incentivize the murder of the rape victim. Clearly now, the gallows beckons this serial offender.

  3. German Chancellor Angela Merkel once again has stressed the 2015 Iran nuclear deal — negotiated with U.N. Security Council members and Germany — as a model for solving the North Korea crisis.

Once again showing the world what an enemy she is to the very survival of all but her own backyard. Iran and North Korea offer markets for German goods, they both want to destroy those the Germans love to hate – the USA and Israel, and they will stuff the German banks with their wealth, wrung from the necks of their own exploited peoples.

It may not be long before Germany will be considered, FOR THE THIRD TIME IN THE LAST HUNDRED YEARS, the greatest enemy of mankind!

  4. Because of the more than 10k passports stolen by ISIS, any new “Syrian” “refugees” are most likely member of ;their little organization.

  5. Three British soldiers have been charged with terror offences including being members of a banned far-right activist group.

Wait a minute. If neo-Nazi groups are to be prosecuted, why not Radical Islam, which calls for the submission or death of all infidels, particularly Jews and Christians?

This is hypocrisy of the highest order and betrays the perfidious, double-crossing treachery of the ruling elite. When they least expect it, their heads will roll.

  6. Justice Minister Heiko Maas has warned that several parts of the anti-immigration party’s election platform are illegal. AfD party candidates are facing accusations of racism and a possible charge of incitement.

It would be really hard to find a higher mess of stupidity interlaced with moral cowardice than Heiko Maas. Nothing new here. Hitler never even had to abolish the Weimar parliament to destroy all freedom – and almost no-one lifted a finger in opposition. Germans are tuggers of the forelock!

It seems the AfD is accusing the German government of doing the bidding of those who won WW2. This is an anti-American critique emerging in Europe, which suggests that Germans are still bitter they lost the two world wars. For those on the Right, the Muslims have only taken the place of the hated Jews. What a tragedy!

The German nation by its insane behavior has clearly revealed that it has never got over Hitler! It merely switches from denial to apology without believing either. Because to ‘process Hitler’ would mean national mourning, national grief – and that has NEVER, EVER happened. Those who constituted the post war government were compromised by their Nazi affiliations, defiant in their German arrogance and merely shifted the blame for Hitler to their political enemies.

The pathology of Germany produced Hitler and that pathology is still evident – dangerous in a nation with so much power.

Looks like they will have to learn the hard way, once again!

  7. Yesterday, Yahoo News carried an article from Foreign Policy magazine by Noah Strote called “German Electiin is a Christian Civil War.”

I do not have the link handy to share.

  8. Concerning the article
Will Robots Soon Replace Teachers in the Classroom?

1.) The day after the change-over who would notice?

2.) It might actually be safer for the children – at least the robots won’t be peddling sodomy to the tykes, a la the Teen Vogue magazine.

    That is, unless
3.) the LGBT lobby can hire some of those hackers to get inside the heads of the teacher-robots, and re-program them to be sex robots.

Oh wait … that already happened with the current crop of human teachers, courtesy of the teachers’ unions.

Oh well – back to the drawing board.

(Unintended consequences : all the displaced human teachers would only swell the ranks of Antifa. They sure won’t be coming our way.)

  9. “As the US comes to terms with its second major weather disaster within a month, an important question is whether the devastation caused by hurricanes Harvey and Irma will convince Donald Trump and his administration of the reality of climate change.”

Well, they’ve tried everything else they can think of to justify the imposition of this global Ponzi Scheme in order to dig their grubby, self-righteous hands into the pockets of western net contributors so this should not surprise anybody with more than two neurons to occasionally rub together.

I am of a mind that the correct response to these intellectually challenged parasites is “Testicles, and now depart in an erotic way.”
And, yes, I also have another solution in mind involving small masses moving quite fast but this being a family blog you, dear reader, will just have to speculate as to what that solution may be.
