Central Bankers on Borrowed Time

The super bubble is in trouble

There are a number of things you don’t want to hear a central banker say.

One of those things just popped out of Janet Yellen’s mouth — “I don’t believe we will see another financial crisis in our lifetime.” That has to be up there with Irving Fisher’s deathless observation from 17 October 1929 that “Stock prices have reached what looks like a permanently high plateau” or John Maynard Keynes’ comparably adept forecast from 1927 that “We will not have any more crashes in our time.”

So far, so anecdotal. How about some data to back up the thesis that, as Thorstein Polleit puts it, the super bubble is in trouble?

First, define your Super Bubble. We can do this in two ways.

Is This the Generation That is Going to Financially Destroy America?

Nobody can pretend that what we have today is the kind of limited federal government that our founders intended

Did you know that the federal government is going to spend more than 4 trillion dollars this year?

To put that into perspective, U.S. GDP for the entire year of 2017 is going to be somewhere between 18 and 19 trillion dollars. So when you are talking about 4 trillion dollars you are talking about a huge chunk of our economy. But of course the federal government doesn’t bring in 4 trillion dollars a year. At the beginning of Barack Obama’s first term, we were 10.6 trillion dollars in debt, and now we are nearly 20 trillion dollars in debt. That means that we have been adding more than a trillion dollars a year to the national debt. When you break that down, that means that we have essentially been stealing more than a hundred million dollars from future generations of Americans every single hour of every single day to pay for our debt-fueled lifestyle. Even Federal Reserve Chair Janet Yellen is warning that this is not sustainable, and yet we just keep on doing it.

Nobody can pretend that what we have today is the kind of limited federal government that our founders intended. When federal spending accounts for more than 20 percent of GDP, it is hard to argue that we haven’t moved very far down the road toward socialism. As I mentioned above, total federal spending will surpass 4 trillion dollars for the first time ever in 2017…

24-Core CPU and I Can’t Move My Mouse

This story begins, as they so often do, when I noticed that my machine was behaving poorly. My Windows 10 work machine has 24 cores (48 hyper-threads) and they were 50% idle. It has 64 GB of RAM and that was less than half used. It has a fast SSD that was mostly idle. And yet, as I moved the mouse around it kept hitching — sometimes locking up for seconds at a time.

So I did what I always do — I grabbed an ETW trace and analyzed it. The result was the discovery of a serious process-destruction performance bug in Windows 10.

Air Canada Plane Nearly Landed on Four Other Planes

The terrifying moment a jet nearly landed on four other planes at San Francisco International Airport on Friday night — potentially killing hundreds — has been captured in audio.

Pilots and the control tower at San Francisco International Airport (SFO) can be heard remarking in astonishment as the AC759 narrowly misses them on the packed taxiway.

The dramatic moment — which could have claimed more than a thousand lives — was very nearly a history-making catastrophe.

‘If it is true, what happened probably came close to the greatest aviation disaster in history,’ retired United Airlines Capt. Ross Aimer, CEO of Aero Consulting Experts told The Mercury News…

Typically, incoming international planes air directed to one of two runways: 28L or 28R, referred to verbally as ‘28-Left’ or ‘28-Right’.

In the audio, the Air Canada pilot can be heard asking SFO control if he’s heading towards the right runway.

‘Tower control, I just want to confirm that — this is Air Canada 759, I can see some lights on the runway there, across the runway, can you confirm we’re good to land?’

‘Canada 759, confirmed to land on runway 28-Right, there is no one on 28-Right but you.’

But what the tower doesn’t know is that the pilot isn’t lined up for runway 28R at all.

Could North Korea Turn America’s Lights Out? We’re Living in the Dark About Our Electric Grid

Forty years ago this week, lightning struck an electrical power station, blacking out the city of New York and surrounding suburbs. Believe it or not, such a scenario is even more likely now, thanks to North Korea.

That’s because America’s electrical grid has become increasingly reliant on digital control systems since 1977, making it more vulnerable to an outage. And now, the possibility of a terrorist attack, most likely to be launched by North Korea, means the entire country could be plunged into darkness.

Even worse, due to the high degree of digital reliance, restarting a power plant that has gone offline is more difficult than in times past.

Federal Court to Rule if a Monkey Owns the Copyright for Its Selfie Photos

SAN FRANCISCO — A curious monkey with a toothy grin and a knack for pressing a camera button was back in the spotlight Wednesday as a federal appeals court heard arguments on whether an animal can hold a copyright to selfie photos.

A 45-minute hearing before a three-judge panel of the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in San Francisco attracted crowds of law students and curious citizens who often burst into laughter. The federal judges also chuckled at times at the novelty of the case, which involves a monkey in another country that is unaware of the fuss.

Andrew Dhuey, attorney for British nature photographer David Slater, said “monkey see, monkey sue” is not good law under any federal act.

Naruto is a free-living crested macaque who snapped perfectly framed selfies in 2011 that would make even the Kardashians proud.

People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals sued Slater and the San Francisco-based self-publishing company Blurb, which published a book called “Wildlife Personalities” that includes the monkey selfies, for copyright infringement. It sought a court order in 2015 allowing it to administer all proceeds from the photos taken in a wildlife reserve in Sulawesi, Indonesia to benefit the monkey.

Slater says the British copyright for the photos obtained by his company, Wildlife Personalities Ltd., should be honored.

PETA attorney David Schwarz argued that Naruto was accustomed to cameras and took the selfies when he saw himself in the reflection of the lens.

A federal judge ruled against PETA and the monkey last year, saying he lacked the right to sue because there was no indication that Congress intended to extend copyright protection to animals.

Google Expose Reveals Scam Behind Climate Change

Professors get funding to push “global warming”

Google’s scheme of paying professors to influence public opinion is also how the “global warming” scam works.

“Google operates a little-known program to harness the brain power of university researchers to help sway opinion and public policy, cultivating financial relationships with professors at campuses from Harvard University to the University of California, Berkeley,” the WSJ reported.

In a similar fashion, politicians, foundations and corporate magnates also fund professors to perform “research” into “man-made climate change” which almost always reaches the existing consensus that it’s a threat only global government can handle.

The arguments claiming “the science is settled” and “97% of scientists believe in global warming” are appealing to authority fallacies that are easily debunked given the Google revelations.

And those were nearly the same arguments tobacco companies were making decades ago when they were funding scientists to downplay health risks associated with smoking.

“Research and other professional activities are professionally rewarded only if they are channeled in certain directions approved by a politicized academic establishment — funding, ease of getting your papers published, getting hired in prestigious positions, appointments to prestigious committees and boards, professional recognition, etc.,” revealed climatologist Dr. Judith Curry, who once held a tenured position at Georgia Tech before resigning in disgust.

Simply put, academia is not independent but is rather just one tentacle of a vast network of politicians and conformists in finance, media and entertainment who all work in unison to push agendas that originated from the private meetings of the world’s power players.

They’re motivated by the feelings of prestige that comes with joining the upper echelons of society that, unknown to them, only leads to decline of civilization thanks to the heavy burden this predatory class places on productive people who are the real sources of human innovation.

Juvenile Driver Arrested on Suspicion of DUI After Santa Ana Car Crashes Into Pedestrians, Injuring 5: Police

A juvenile driver was arrested on suspicion of DUI after allegedly hitting pedestrians in a crash that left five people injured in Santa Ana on Thursday morning, police said.

The crash occurred around 11 a.m. in the 1600 block of Greenville Street when a vehicle with three juveniles inside jumped the northbound curb and hit two pedestrians, according to Cpl. Anthony Bertagna of the Santa Ana Police Department.

The two pedestrians were injured, as were the three occupants of the vehicle, Bertagna said.

All five trauma patients were transported. None of the injuries were considered to be life-threatening, according to the corporal.

The driver was arrested, he said. Bertagna did not provide a name, gender or an exact age of the individual.

Linda Sarsour: An Enemy Within

I have repeatedly said in the past that being a Muslim and being American are incompatible. A Muslim is an Ummah-ist. His/her loyalty, first and above all, is to Islamic world rule and not to the country where he/she resides. By allowing Muslims to immigrate to the West, we are literary inviting the biggest enemy of mankind into our homes. Because, Muslims do not assimilate, they come here to make Islam the law of the land.

Attention seeker and jihadist Linda Sarsour, an American-born Arab native, is calling to wage Jihad, a terrorist threat against the President of the United States and the White House staff. In reality, Sarsour has declared jihad (holy war) on the United States Government and its people.

Question…Where is the Secret Service? Where is the FBI? Why is this radical Muslim woman still free to walk? Why isn’t she under investigation? This woman is dangerous and has an ulterior motive.

In her latest speech, she said the “number 1, top priority” was to “protect and defend” the Muslim community and suggested assimilation should not be a goal.

“It is not to assimilate and to please any other people or authority,” Sarsour said. “Our obligation is to our young people, and to our women, and to make sure our women are protected in our community and our top priority, even higher than those priorities is to please Allah and only Allah.”…

Muslim organizations in America, generously financed by the oil-rich Muslim government and sheikhs, are directed to sell Islam Lite for long enough until the cult runs deep roots and Real Islam is introduced. One can see how the scheme played out in Europe. Much of Europe is already past the stage of Islam Lite and knee deep into the quagmire of Real Islam. And that’s exactly where things are headed in America.

Man Gets Stuck in ATM and Sends Help Note to Pedestrians

In Corpus Christi, Texas, an ATM repair technician became stuck inside the ATM machine he was fixing Wednesday.

With no way out and completely hidden by the machine, he scribbled notes asking for help and tried to slip the notes through the receipt slot.

According to authorities, the man got stuck in the small ATM room at a Bank of America. He was there attempting to change the machine’s locking mechanism.

The man had left his phone in his truck and had no way of calling for help, so he started slipping “help me” notes to people using the ATM.

One of the notes passed through the machine to a user read: “Please Help. I’m stuck in here, and I don’t have my phone. Please call my boss.” He sent several messages until eventually, one of the ATM users called the police.

The man was rescued from the ATM. No injuries have been reported…

President Trump Knows America’s Greatness is Liberty

At the recent G20 summit in Hamburg, Germany, leaders were gathering for a photo op, and were sporting a G20 pin on their lapel. Not Trump. He was wearing an American flag, and I was so proud of him…

I hear people saying Trump hasn’t built the wall, he hasn’t repealed Obamacare, he hasn’t dumped NAFTA. And just who does he need to help him do this? The Congress! And we know many of our so-called conservatives are nothing more than Democrats in Republican drag.

Every person who voted for Trump has two Senators and one Representative. That’s three people in Congress that should be called, emailed and harassed into doing what our President promised he’d do. If you detest Betsy DeVos, then call Congress, emailing each other about how vile she is doesn’t get rid of her. It’s all up to us to help this President, and to educate him.

The Trump Achievements

In six months, the accomplishments of our 45th President are staggering. We should be rejoicing!

We no longer have the horrid TPP trade deal which would have absolutely destroyed our sovereignty. Trump was right about TPP and China. Thank God, it’s gone.

We no longer have the UN Paris Accord climate deal that would have skyrocketed our energy costs and destroyed our sovereignty. [Link] Thank God, it’s gone.

Refugees entering America have been stopped from six countries, albeit it took the Supreme Court to overrule the lower courts filled with Bush, Clinton and Obama appointees. Trump’s immigration plans are forging ahead. [Link]

Trump overturned The Johnson Amendment with an EO, allowing the pulpits the freedom to speak. So, why aren’t they?

Trump has advanced pro-life policies. [Link] Save the baby humans!

There are so many other accomplishments. Check out the sub-lists of his continuing achievements. This is a reason to smile!

Radical Dem Worked for Russian Lawyer Who Met With Trump, Jr.

He served 13 terms in Congress as an African-American firebrand and proudly called himself a socialist

Radical left-wing icon former California Democratic Rep. Ron Dellums was a hired lobbyist for Natalia Veselnitskaya, the Russian lawyer who met with Donald Trump Jr. June 9, 2016, the Daily Caller News Foundation Investigative Group has learned.

Dellums, who represented liberal San Francisco and Oakland, Calif., is a long-time darling of left-wing political activists. He served 13 terms in Congress as an African-American firebrand and proudly called himself a socialist. He retired in 1996.

The former congressman is one of several high-profile Democratic partisans who was on Veselnitskaya’s payroll, working to defeat a law that is the hated object of a personal vendetta waged by Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Secret Service Looking Into Dem Lawmaker’s Threat to Make Trump “Half Term President”

Republicans demand Hamann’s resignation over “implied death threat”

The Secret Service is looking into what some are calling a death threat made by Democratic lawmaker Scott Hamann, who vowed to make Trump a “half term president” if he ever got “within 10 feet” of him.

Hamann posted a crazed Facebook rant in which he declared, “Trump is a half term president, at most, especially if I ever get within 10 feet of that pussy.”

Hamann, who represents a district in South Portland, went on to accuse Trump of being “anti-American,” and an “admitted rapist” who was “installed by the Russians.”

Dave Watson, the resident agent in charge of the U.S. Secret Service field office in Portland, told the Press Herald that his office was receiving calls from the public about Hamann’s Facebook post.

“We are looking into it, but as to whether an investigation has been opened, I can’t comment on that,” Watson said. “But we have been getting messages.”

After a huge backlash, Hamann offered half-hearted apology, stating, “I regret my impulsive decision to post something aggressively sarcastic and inappropriate in a Facebook exchange with a childhood friend.”

Furious Republicans are demanding House Speaker Sara Gideon call for Hamann’s resignation, with Demi Kouzounas, chairwoman of the Maine Republican Party, calling Hamann “unhinged and dangerous.”

“Words cannot even begin to describe the level of revulsion I feel after reading Rep. Scott Hamann’s recent tirade that has come to light,”

Winnipeg Man Kidnapped, Stabbed After Arranging Date Through Online Site

WINNIPEG — Police have arrested a second person in connection to a ‘catfishing’ attack that left a Winnipeg man in hospital nearly a year ago.

Winnipeg police said a 30-year-old man arranged an in-person meeting with a woman he met online. The two met up on July 23, 2016 at a residence in the North End.

However, when he arrived there were two people there, a man and a 17-year-old woman.

“A second male arrived who attacked the (victim),” Cst. Tammy Skrabek said. “Stabbing him once in the lower body, assaulting him and robbing him of personal items along with his car keys.”

The victim was also forced to ingest a substance.

“The male was forced to ingest a noxious substance whether that be drugs, it could be alcohol. It did alter his well being,” Cst. Skrabek said.

Police said he was then driven to the north Perimeter Highway and the car was driven into a ditch. The suspects stole the man’s personal belongings and forced him to hand over the pin to his bank account…

Austria: Suspect in Double-Murder of Elderly Couple ‘Was ISIS Supporter’

A Tunisian man accused of brutally murdering an elderly couple in their Austrian home last month was a supporter of the Islamic State jihadist group, police said on Monday.

But police spokesman David Furtner told AFP the case was being treated as a “double murder” and not a jihadist killing.

“We currently don’t believe that it was an IS-motivated murder or terror attack,” Furtner said.

“It seems the man radicalised himself but there is no third party who ordered him to carry out the killings and IS has not claimed responsibility.”

The suspect attacked the couple in the northern city of Linz on June 30, slitting the 85-year-old woman’s throat before stabbing and beating her 87-year-old husband to death.

Germany: Court Frees Suspected ‘Islamist’ Intelligence Agent

A Düsseldorf court on Wednesday freed an intelligence agent detained last November on suspicion of being an “Islamist” preparing to bomb his agency’s headquarters.

A spokeswoman for the Düsseldorf court confirmed the release of the German man, who will be charged only with attempted treason.

Prosecutors had been pursuing a case of “preparing a serious act threatening state security” after his employer, the Office for the Protection of the Constitution (BfV), said the agent tried to share “sensitive information” online.

Press reports also said the man, who was 51 at the time, married with children and working at a bank, was planning a bomb attack against the BfV headquarters in Cologne, but no evidence of such a plan emerged.

Reports had also said the man converted to Islam in 2014, and had been gathering intelligence on the Islamist scene in Germany since April 2016.

‘I Became a Politician Because of Auschwitz’: Meet Germany’s Justice Minister

Justice Minister Heiko Maas speaking about hate comments online.

You demand high fines from social networks like Facebook, YouTube, or Twitter when they do not delete obviously illegal content within 24 hours. What do you mean by “obviously illegal content” and how realistic is this time frame?

Social networks must abide by our laws, just like anyone else. Incitement to kill, defamation, or incitement to hatred must not only be consistently pursued by the justice system. Such indictable content must also already be deleted by Facebook and others under current laws, as long as they have knowledge of it.

This duty is, however, only being fulfilled by the platform operators to an insufficient extent. So we want to at last ensure that this obligation to delete is also being met.

Obviously illegal content is that which leaves no reasonable doubt about its punishability — something that already has an established case law against it. ISIS Bastille Day Attack: Prosecutor Calls for Paris Match Magazine Ban Over Gruesome Images

A French court has been asked to ban the latest edition of the country’s Paris Match magazine over its use of bloody images from the jihadist truck attack in Nice last year that left 86 people dead.

The issue contains surveillance camera images of victims of the attack laying on the ground after the truck’s impact, and the dead attacker, Tunisian national Mohamed Bouhlel, in the cab of his truck.

Paris Prosecutor Francois Molins called on the issue to be removed from newsstands and to “ban publication in all formats, notably digital.” A court will convene to hear the case later on Thursday.

Merkel and Macron Put Defence at Heart of Blooming Ties

Newly elected French President Emmanuel Macron welcomed German Chancellor Angela Merkel to the Elysee Palace in Paris on Thursday for a joint cabinet meeting between their governments.

Among a host of measures agreed between their economy, culture and education ministers, the joint fighter jet proposal underscored their plans to create a new dynamic in the Franco-German motor at the heart of the European Union.

Macron also won a commitment from Merkel to support a Paris-backed joint anti-jihadist regional force in Africa called the G5 Sahel made up of soldiers from Burkina Faso, Chad, Mali, Mauritania and Niger.

‘The Mafia Are Invisible But Almost Everywhere in Germany’, Experts Say

Ten years after one of the bloodiest mafia shoot-outs in Germany, Italian and German politicians and researchers gathered in Berlin to discuss how to combat such criminal groups that still have a solid presence in the Bundesrepublik.

On August 15th 2007, images were broadcast around the world of bodies, lying in their own blood, splayed across the asphalt outside a pizzeria, white sheets partially covering them from sight.

The photos weren’t taken in the mafia stronghold of Sicily, but rather in the west German city of Duisburg.

Israel Seeking Saudi Flight Deal to Bring Pilgrims to Mecca

Israel is trying to persuade Saudi Arabia to allow it to send special Hajj pilgrimage flights to Mecca, building on Trump administration efforts to strengthen cooperation between the two nations.

Instead of enduring the 1,000-mile bus route across the Jordan River and through the Saudi desert to reach Islam’s most sacred shrine, Israel hopes its Muslim citizens will be able to fly directly into the kingdom from Tel Aviv’s Ben Gurion International Airport, Communications Minister Ayoob Kara said. Just two months ago, Trump broke a longstanding taboo by flying between the two nations, which do not have formal diplomatic relations or airline links but have drawn closer in recent years due to a shared enemy, Iran.

Turkey Threatens Greek Cypriots With Measures Over Gas Drilling

As a French-Italian consortium prepares to drill for gas off the coast of Cyprus, Turkey has threatened to take measures to counter, what it describes as, “unilateral” acts by the Greek Cypriots.

Speaking on Thursday, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said that Turkey’s energy and foreign ministry were considering steps against Nicosia for moving ahead with drilling operations for natural gas, to which, he added, Turkish Cypriot also have rights to.

Cavusoglu made his remarks a day after the West Capella drilling vessel, operated by France’s Total and Italy’s Eni, arrived in block 11 of Cyprus’s exclusive economic zone (EEZ) to commence operations.

The Turkish minister said the ship’s arrival demonstrated the “insincerity” of the Greek Cypriots at the Cyprus peace talks which collapsed last Friday.

China’s Uighur Muslims Struggle Under ‘Police State’

Worshippers quietly passed through metal detectors as they entered the central mosque in China’s far western city of Kashgar under the stern gaze of stone-faced police officers.

The increasingly strict curbs imposed on the mostly Muslim Uighur population have stifled life in the tense Xinjiang region, where beards are partially banned and no one is allowed to pray in public.

For years, the square outside the mosque in Kashgar was packed with teeming crowds as worshippers jostled for space to unroll their prayer rugs and celebrate the end of Ramadan. But no longer.

China Bears ‘Heavy Responsibility’ For Liu Death: Nobel Committee

The Norwegian Nobel Committee said Thursday that China bears a “heavy responsibility” for the “premature” death of 2010 Peace Prize winner Liu Xiaobo.

The prominent democracy advocate, 61, died while still in custody following a battle with cancer.

Officials ignored international pleas to let him spend his final days free and abroad. Germany and the US had offered to take him in for treatment.

“We find it deeply disturbing that Liu Xiaobo was not transferred to a facility where he could receive adequate medical treatment before he became terminally ill,” Berit Reiss-Andersen, who chairs the Norwegian Nobel Committee, said in a statement.

“The Chinese government bears a heavy responsibility for his premature death.”

Liu was transferred from prison to a heavily guarded hospital to be treated for late-stage liver cancer more than a month ago.

DHS Chief: Shield for 800,000 Illegals May Crumble

(Washington Post) — Homeland Security Secretary John F. Kelly told the Congressional Hispanic Caucus in a closed-door meeting Wednesday that an initiative that grants work permits to more than 800,000 undocumented immigrants may not survive a looming legal challenge.

Kelly declined to take questions after the meeting, but his spokesman said the secretary told the members that the Obama-era program, which shields immigrants brought to the United States as children, is at risk.

“This is what he’s being told by different attorneys, that if it goes to court it might not survive,” DHS spokesman David Lapan said. If Congress does not pass a bill to protect the program, he added, “they’re leaving it in the hands of the courts to make a decision.”

Germany Expecting Up to 300,000 More Syrian, Iraqi Migrants in 2017 Through Family Reunification Rules

The German Federal Government has estimated that family reunion rules will see Germany receive hundreds of thousands more Syrian and Iraqi migrants this year.

The Ministry of the Interior announced that it granted asylum to 90,389 people in the first six months of 2017, and expects that Germany will receive a total of 180,000 migrants this year — a fraction of the influx of almost a million who the country admitted in 2015.

However, Die Welt reports the situation — with regards to housing, welfare, education, integration, and crime — will be far more demanding for taxpayers than official figures suggest, as they do not take into account the migrants who are flown into Germany as a result of family reunification rules.

ICE Director Says There Could be More Than 12 Million Illegals in US

“11-12 million is the steady number I’ve seen. Could it be higher?”

Acting Immigration and Customs Enforcement Director Thomas Homan said he isn’t sure exactly how many illegal immigrants are in the U.S.

There could be more than 11 to 12 million in the country, he said. No matter how many there are, Homan said that President Donald Trump’s executive orders have put every illegal immigrant (except those covered by President Obama’s amnesty for illegal aliens who arrived as minors) up for deportation.

He recently spoke at a White House press briefing in which he said that no illegal immigrant should “be comfortable,” and he reiterated that message during Tuesday’s interview.

Travel Ban, and Beyond

by Srdja Trifkovic

The Supreme Court decided on June 26 to allow key parts of the Trump administration’s “travel ban” to go into effect temporarily. This was an unexpected victory for the President—and for common sense. Until the Court hears the full case in October, the administration will be able to bar travelers from six majority-Muslim countries who cannot show a “bona fide” connection to a person or entity in the United States. The Court said the relationship must be “formal, documented and formed in the ordinary course, not for the purpose of evading” the travel ban.

Trump’s next task should be to make the 90-day ban permanent. Over the past two decades hundreds of Muslims born abroad have been convicted of terrorism-related crimes in the United States. They have included persons who came to America legally on visas, as well as refugees. More than 300 persons who came to the U.S. as refugees are currently the subjects of counterterrorism investigations by the FBI.

In the long term, Trump should seek to reinstate the substance of his original executive order, which was issued on January 27 and revoked on March 6. Its stated “Purpose” declares that the United States must ensure that those admitted to this country do not bear hostile attitudes toward it and its founding principles. The United States cannot, and should not, admit those who do not support the Constitution, or those who would place violent ideologies over American law . . . who engage in acts of bigotry or hatred (including “honor” killings, other forms of violence against women, or the persecution of those who practice religions different from their own) or those who would oppress Americans of any race, gender, or sexual orientation.

Without naming it, Trump’s original order treated orthodox Islam as a violent ideology inimical to America’s “founding principles.” After all, for a Muslim to declare that he accepts the U.S. Constitution as the source of his highest loyalty is an act of apostasy punishable by death under Islamic law. To a Muslim, sharia is not an addition to the Constitution and laws of the United States, with which it may coexist; it is the only basis of obligation. To be legitimate, all political power must rest exclusively with those who enjoy Allah’s authority on the basis of his revealed will, and America is therefore illegitimate ab initio…

College: Enough is Enough

Last year the government and church in Poland, for everyone to see, formally consecrated Jesus Christ as King of Poland, whose right it is to be king over all nations. Among the prayers offered up, during the ceremony in Krakow, was a plea to our Lord “to rule over our universities.”

Can you imagine the reaction, if such a prayer were offered here? Hillary Clinton would levitate. Barack Obama would sprout another head, with a horn in it. We would soon find out who rules over America’s universities-and it’s not Jesus Christ.

Evergreen State College is in the news again. The Washington State Legislature has not been able to pass a bill to de-fund the place, after Evergreen got famous for its “No whites allowed on campus” day, complete with threats of violence that a lot of folks found very credible. That was for “diversity,” in case you couldn’t guess.

Well, now it’s summertime, and time to give out grades for the last semester. With that in mind, the acting provost at Evergreen has asked the professors to go easy on the, er, students who didn’t do their classwork, or made a shambles of it, because they were too busy rioting-or, as the provost put it, “diverting time and energy from their academic work to promote institutional change and social justice”.

  3. Re Linda Sarsour, exactly how can this woman, a member of the murderous death cult which is and has been the enemy of all non-moslems for 1400 years, walk around free in the USA, yelling in the streets and on TV what amounts to ‘death to America!’, and get away with it?
If any ‘real’ Americans tried that they would surely be dragged into the nearest police station–and not for coffee and donuts! President Trump…..?
