Maha Adheem underwent emergency surgery for slash wounds, and when she left the hospital, she was taken into custody by the gardai. Both she and her estranged husband are Iraqi doctors, but he is not a suspect in the case.

Venezuela Cut Deeper Into Junk by S&P as Default Risk Surges

The world’s riskiest credit got another jolt after S&P Global Ratings lowered Venezuela’s rating deeper into junk as the economy spirals down amid heightened political tension.

S&P reduced the nation’s long-term foreign and local currency ratings to CCC— or three notches below investment grade, from CCC on Tuesday. The New York-based company kept its negative outlook for Venezuela, signaling room for further downgrades. Fitch Ratings and Moody’s Investors Service also rank the country at speculative levels.

Bixby Recruiters Office Explosion: Charges Filed

A Bixby man faces four federal criminal charges after allegedly detonating a pipe bomb outside a local Air Force recruitment center.

Law enforcement took Benjamin Roden into custody as a person of interest Wednesday afternoon; the bomb detonated late Tuesday night.

[…]

Other comments accused Sand Springs Police of using “special warfare” to increase crime.

When agents searched Roden’s apartment, they claim they found dozens of items associated with explosives production, as well as a book and hand written notes on the practice.

More pipe bombs were found in a bag, along with an application for a German National visa, a loaded hand gun and an AR-15.

Roden was charged with malicious damage to federal property by use of explosive, destruction of federal property, use of explosive to commit federal felony and destruction of federal property.

U.S. Attorney Loretta Redford spoke with FOX23 Wednesday afternoon about the investigation. It was streamed live on Facebook and FOX23.com:

A bond hearing for Roden is set for Friday at 10 a.m. He will remain in custody until then.

DARPA Commits $65m to Brain Implant Program for Super Soldier Project

The U.S. military is disclosing a super soldier project, revealing to have allocated funding of $65 million dollars for a program to develop a ‘Brain-Computer Interface’ that would allow participants to plug into a computer like the movie The Matrix. No this isn’t science fiction Neo, this is the future that the MIC wants for its soldiers. Earlier last year in January, DARPA launched Neural Engineering System Design to research technology that could turn soldiers into cyborgs.

Environmental Nightmare! Dozens of Highly Toxic Substances Have Been Found in Tap Water All Over America

After reading this article, you will never look at tap water the same way again. Most Americans have generally assumed that the water coming out of our taps is perfectly safe, but the Flint water crisis and other similar incidents are starting to help people to understand that there are some very dangerous substances in our water. In particular, I am talking about things like arsenic, lead, atrazine, perchlorate and a whole host of pharmaceutical drugs. According to an absolutely stunning NRDC report, close to 77 million Americans received their water from systems “that violated federal protections” in 2015. And even if you get your water from a system that meets federal standards, that still does not mean that it is safe.

Let’s start by talking about arsenic. Earlier today I came across an article that talked about how levels of arsenic in the water at some schools in the San Joaquin Valley “exceed the maximum federal safety levels by as much as three times”…

The International Agency for Research on Cancer says that arsenic is a “group 1 carcinogen”, and if you get too much of it in your system it can kill you. Sadly, the EPA has estimated that 36 million Americans are drinking tap water that contains dangerous levels of arsenic.

In addition to arsenic, a very nasty pesticide known as “atrazine” is often found in tap water supplies. The following information about atrazine comes from the NRDC…

This endocrine-disrupting chemical is one of the most commonly detected pesticides in U.S. waters. NRDC studies have found its contamination is most common in drinking water across the Midwest and the southern United States.

Family of Powhatan Man Stabbed in the Head Leads March in Downtown Richmond

POWHATAN — Powhatan native Norris Goode Jr., who survived a fight in 2016 that ended with a blade broken off in his brain, took his fight for justice to the streets of Richmond last week.

Goode and Phillip Thompson, who is the criminal justice chair for the NAACP Virginia State Conference, led a group of about 40 protestors in an action on Friday, July 7 to petition key officials in state government asking for the removal of Circuit Court Judge Paul W. Cella.

After gathering on the steps of Richmond City Hall in the morning, Goode was joined by family members, friends and supporters carrying signs and shouting “No justice, no peace!” as they walked. They carried copies of their petitions to the Office of the Attorney General, Virginia Judicial Inquiry and Review Commission and the Office of the Governor before ending the day with a rally at the Bell Tower on Capitol grounds.

Goode, his family and his supporters continued to maintain that Cella demonstrated bias when he delivered a not guilty verdict in the aggravated malicious wounding case against Jesse Moore, 25, of Jetersville during a bench trial held on Wednesday, March 15.

Jesse Moore’s brother, Jacob Moore, 22, of Powhatan was also involved in the fight with Goode and was charged with the same crime. However, he testified against his brother and a special prosecutor made a motion during his hearing on June 22, to amend the charge against the younger brother to misdemeanor assault and battery.

Cella declined to comment on the issue on July 7…

Hey Folks, Are You Beginning to See a Pattern?

In the car the other evening, while waiting for a grandson to exit the local grocery store, we stumbled upon Mark Levin’s radio show where he was going down the list on how government corrupted the elements of liberty that were spelled out in the U. S. Constitution. He focused on government’s perversion of the “Commerce” and “Necessary and Proper” clauses, as delineated in Article 1, Section 8. Of course, these weren’t the only perversions of liberty perpetrated by a government that had been given its head to do just about anything it wanted to do because WE THE PEOPLE turned away from our duty to hold government accountable. Sadly, if the people won’t hold government accountable, they get what they deserve and what they get is slowly evolving slavery.

We will describe a few details on what the people have gotten, at the hands of a rogue, out-of-control and Hell bent on domination of the masses, government. These events taken one at a time in and of themselves do not necessarily cause any alarm. However, taken in their totality should raise the hackles and the fear of even the most naive American. Some of these events are well known. A few however, have received a bored ho hum from the media.

How Trump Can Avoid Impeachment: Order NSA to Declassify All Intel on Democratic Email Leaks

Donald Trump Jr’s. emails regarding an apparent overture regarding Russian information on Hillary Clinton have created an absolute firestorm.

Whether or not the emails are a “smoking gun”, horrible optics, or a frame job, momentum towards impeachment has just taken a big leap forward (the Dems and MSM have had their knives out and sharpened looking under every rock for an excuse to impeach).

This is largely true because four U.S. intelligence agencies state as fact that Russia hacked the Democrats and released that information to WikiLeaks in order to sway the election in Trump’s favor.

But a number of people with direct knowledge or an informed opinion have stated that the Democratic emails were leaked by American insiders unhappy with the DNC … not hacked by Russia.

Since the intelligence agencies have not publicly shared any credible and verifiable evidence one way or the other about Russian hacking of the Democratic email, is Trump doomed?

No …

Trump could — if he’s innocent — nip this in the bud in an instant.

How?

The President has the power to order any information declassified … and to share it with whoever he wants.

So Trump can order the declassification of all information which the NSA has on the Democratic party (I.e. DNC and Podesta) emails.

The man who created the NSA’s global electronic data-gathering system told Washington’s Blog that — if the DNC and Podesta were hacked — the NSA would already have the data in their files proving who did it.

Military Official: Oklahoma Bomb Suspect Was in US Air Force

TULSA, Okla. — A 28-year-old man facing federal charges in a pipe bomb explosion outside an Air Force recruiting center in Oklahoma had been enlisted in that branch of the military and was decorated for his service, a military official said Wednesday.

Oklahoma Air National Guard Capt. Jennifer Proctor told The Associated Press that the suspect, Benjamin Don Roden, enlisted for Air Force active duty in April 2012 and joined the state’s air national guard in October 2014.

Proctor said Roden had been a senior airman whose job involved fire protection, but that he was discharged from the air national guard’s Tulsa-based 138th Fighter Wing in April. She did not provide a reason for his discharge.

According to the arrest report Tuesday, Roden faces federal charges of possession of explosive materials and destruction of government property in the blast Monday night in a commercial area in the Tulsa suburb of Bixby. The recruiting center was closed at the time and no one was hurt, although the office door was blown off in the explosion.

Roden received several decorations, including the Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Proctor said. The medal is awarded to military members who have deployed overseas in direct service to the war on terror since the Sept. 11 attacks. Roden also received the Air Force Expeditionary Service Ribbon with gold border, with the border signifying that he was in a combat zone, she said.

Roden is expected to make an initial court appearance Wednesday. He hasn’t been formally charged and it’s unclear whether he has a lawyer. He is jailed without bond.

Rejected Oklahoma Bomb Suspect ‘Turned to Hate’

Prosecutors say a 28-year-old man facing federal charges in a pipe bomb explosion outside an Air Force recruiting center in Oklahoma left that branch of the military when he couldn’t complete the training required to become a certified electrician.

Authorities offered a first glimpse Wednesday of what they believe might have driven Benjamin Don Roden to plant the bomb late Monday at the recruiting center in suburban Tulsa.

Roden made his first appearance in federal court Wednesday, acknowledging before U.S. Magistrate Judge Frank H. McCarthy that he understood the charges against him, which include using an explosive to commit a felony. Roden will remain in custody at least until Friday, when McCarthy set a bond hearing.

Acting U.S. Attorney Loretta Radford says Roden “turned to hate” after finding out he couldn’t become an electrician.

Shooter Who Killed 3 in Alabama, Led Police in Manhunt Has Committed Suicide

( WBMA ) — At least three people were killed in a shooting in Gardendale, Alabama Wednesday. Police then spent hours for the suspect, who was previously arrested in multiple child sex assault cases.

The suspect, identified as Kenneth Dion Lever, killed himself around 5 p.m. ET, WEAR reported.

Gardendale police, along with the U.S. Marshals Office in Escambia County of Florida, later confirmed Lever’s suicide.

The victims have been identified as:

  • Dana Reeves Lever, 50, of Gardendale
  • Bonnie Reeves Foshee, 65, of Fultondale
  • Don Austin Foshee, 69, of Fultondale

Court documents are revealing more about Kenneth Dion Lever. Sinclair station WHP-TV has found a protection of abuse order filed in Jefferson county against him.

The order was filed by a woman on behalf of her daughter against Lever who was living in Florida at the time.

The woman and the 11-year-old were living in Jefferson county. In the order, the woman alleges Lever was abusing the girl during his unsupervised visits. The child was seeing a therapist who called the mother to say she had some concerns. The mom says the girl’s disposition is different when she returns home from visiting Lever, including being very clingy.

Lever was scheduled to be back in court regarding the PFA July 26, 2017.

Lever was also arrested and charged in two separate child sex assault cases in September and October 2015 in York County, Pennsylvania, according to online court records obtained by WHP. He is scheduled to stand trial on those charges in September.

There is No Debate: It is Illegal & Unconstitutional No Matter What They Re-Name it

The hot topic again this week coming from today’s conservatives is an attempt to get you caught up into a debate about what is illegal. The GOP is attempting to appease the American voter with a change of name again to implement the illegal and unconstitutional “Obamacare” (Mark 8:15).

Look at this word play here America. First, it was the “RomneyCare.” Then, it became the “Affordable Care Act.” Now it is the “American Health Care Act.” No matter what it is called, or who the president is who pushes for it and signs it, it is illegal (Psalm 94:20).

Rather than getting caught up into the debate that they want you to get caught up into, the question that should be presented to them who call themselves representatives is, “Where are you deriving your authority from to implement these unconstitutional acts?” It is a question that they simply cannot answer.

In other words, “If they can get you asking the wrong questions, they do not have to worry about giving you the right answers.”

Considering that which you have been led to believe concerning Romney-Obama-care and that it is such a good deal (Premiums are skyrocketing) for Americans, why does it not apply to the Congress that approved these unlawful measures?

“Exploiting the stupidity of the American voter is fun and easy: kinda like squeezing a lemon.” —Jonathan Gruber architect of Romney-Obama-care

“Lack of transparency is a huge political advantage. Call it the stupidity of the American voter or whatever, but basically, that was really, really critical for the thing to pass.” —Jonathan Gruber architect of Romney-Obama-care

“When we’re done with employer-based health insurance, it will have as much life in it as Jimmy Hoffa.” —Jonathan Gruber architect of Romney-Obama-care

Vault 7, Internet Security, And Your Life on Display

As an electronics hardware and software designer, I have taken keen interest in the Wikileaks disclosure of the CIA’s Vault 7 hacking tools. Wikileaks has been dribbling out the details for months now, showing us what the CIA has been developing to, ahem, keep us safe from the bad guys. When I talk with fellow engineers about the possibility that the feds are sucking up every bit of data they can get their packet sniffers on, we all agree it is happening, to an unknown extent. How amazing to now get an actual peek behind the overpriced GSA-schedule gray curtain.

These disclosures are disturbing in multiple ways, for example, that our tax dollars are funding the federal government’s hacking of free citizens’ lives, all under the premise that they are only targeting criminals and spies. Most commentators find this the greatest outrage.

The most disturbing fact to me, as a tech insider and developer, is that the Swiss cheese computing tools we use today are way more hole than cheese. Vault 7 is evidence of this. There are exploits in Vault 7 for nearly every modern computing platform, operating system, and communications method. Everything connected to the Internet is broken. Everything. Including the device on which you are reading this article.

UK Extremist Groups Funded From Overseas

Foreign funding provides “significant” income for some Islamist extremist groups in Britain, the Government has admitted, but it has refused to name those responsible.

The Opposition accused the Government of suppressing a report into the scale and origin of extremist funding because it is widely suspected to implicate Saudi Arabia.

The review found that most funding came from small donations inside the UK, often from members of the public who may not understand the nature of the organisations to which they were giving.

But it found that for a small number of organisations with extremism concerns, overseas funding was a “significant source of income”.

UK: Mass Islamic Immigration

You know mass immigration is an important issue because you aren’t allowed to talk about it, you get called names if you do talk about it, and those in favour of it will never back down no matter what facts you give them or how rational your arguments.

Talking about Islam is virtually impossible, talking about immigration is virtually impossible and so talking specifically about mass Islamic immigration is something of a suicide mission. A frank discussion of mass Islamic immigration is absolutely guaranteed to generate smears of racist, fascist and bigot in order to silence that discussion. The reason this tactic is employed so often is very simple: because it really works. Europeans have been successfully denied a discussion of immigration for decades.

In an ideal world, perhaps it might be wonderful to have open borders with everyone travelling as they please and causing no harm to each other. But only a fool believes we live in an ideal world, and only a fool believes we can achieve Utopia by opening our borders to all.

As the daughter of an immigrant who arrived in the UK from Pakistan in the 60s, many might assume I would be for open borders — yet I am all for closing our borders temporarily. My father arrived in the UK to work, not to claim benefits. He started off as a bus conductor, working his way up to driving the buses and eventually he had his own businesses, five of them.

When my father arrived in the UK, along with many other men and women of South Asian origin, there was plenty of work, there was also enough housing, they didn’t rely on benefits and they weren’t a strain on the NHS. Yes, there was plenty of racism and ignorance towards the migrants but, crucially, they generally worked hard and integrated, and they were slowly accepted. It was a two-way street: migrants generally proved themselves capable of integrating and working, and racists stopped being racist. In historical terms, this was done in the blink of an eye and is testament to the decency of humanity.

Tyrant Sheriff Forces Prayer on His County

You see, a petition has been created to “Stop the Tyrant Sheriff” of Ashe County. The petition claims…

“Ashe County, NC, is in great danger of a tyrant sheriff which has no regard for separation between church and state. Ashe County Sheriff’s Office, with directions from Sheriff Terry Buchanan, based in Jefferson, NC, coordinated a “Time of Prayer” event on Saturday, June 24, 2017. Highlighting the event was a prayer led by Anne Graham Lotz, the daughter of the celebrity evangelist Billy Graham and sister of Franklin Graham…The event took place in front of the Ashe County Sheriff’s Office. Applying his government title to promote his personal religious beliefs and the beliefs of Mrs. Lotz, gave the damaging impression that the county supports and endorses those precise religious beliefs. The Establishment Clause prohibits the government from promoting or affiliating itself with any religious doctrine or organization…”

Let’s pause this petition to correct an unconstitutional notion. The first amendment actually prevents congress from making laws enforcing religion. The Sheriff is not congress and a prayer is not a law.

The petition concludes…

“We ask for your help in removing Sheriff Terry Buchanan from office to STOP Christian Sharia in Ashe County, cleansing all that do not follow.”

Attempting to remove a sheriff for petitioning Almighty God to help him fulfill his oath is not constitutional, smart, or safe. After all, this sheriff, along with every other sheriff in America, is required to protect the God-given rights of his constituents. What better way to do so than by following the tradition of our founders and thousands of public servants, such as Congress and state legislatures, who regularly asked God to help them fulfill their oath made to God to protect those sacred rights that He gives to mankind?

We will work with the private sector, in particular communication service providers and administrators of relevant applications, to fight exploitation of the internet and social media for terrorist purposes such as propaganda, funding and planning of terrorist acts, inciting terrorism, radicalizing and recruiting to commit acts of terrorism, while fully respecting human rights …

In line with the expectations of our peoples we also encourage collaboration with industry to provide lawful and non-arbitrary access to available information where access is necessary for the protection of national security against terrorist threats. We affirm that the rule of law applies online as well as it does offline.

Australian prime minister Malcolm Turnbull lauded the G20’s agreement “to work with industry in the pursuit of public safety and together fight terrorists and organised criminals”.

  1. With the greatest inalienable human rights document ever devised for the propagation of individual liberty, The American Constitution, I have found it hard to understand individual American states believing they had a ‘right’ in seizing personal property on just a sniff of wrongdoing, and without a criminal conviction in a court of law that the property being seized was in fact the results from the criminal activities of the convicted to which the state felt it had the ‘right’ to seize from.

Good to see the state of Connecticut banning such a practice, and in doing so, this state is once again upholding the Constitution as it did when the Obama administration were threatening to make all firearm owners register their weaponry as a test case for all 50 states.
