Dayton Man 5th Ohioan Charged for Involvement With ISIS

The Dayton man arrested Wednesday on charges accusing him of planning to join ISIS was the fifth Ohioan and 122nd person charged in the U.S. with similar offenses, according to data collected by a Washington D.C.-based group studying homegrown terrorism.

However, Laith Waleed Alebbini, 26, of Dayton, bucked recent trends when he tried to board an airplane at Cincinnati/Kentucky International Airport.

Documents Tie Berkeley Riot Organizers to NAMBLA

The left-wing activists behind the anti-conservative riots at Berkeley have ties to one of the nation’s most prominent pro-pedophilia organizations.

The Coalition to Defend Affirmative Action, Integration & Immigrant Rights, and Fight for Equality By Any Means Necessary — more commonly referred to as By Any Means Necessary or BAMN — is one of the militant leftist groups waging a campaign against conservatives and Trump supporters in Berkeley. The group’s planned aggressive demonstrations against conservative commentator Ann Coulter and the students coming to hear her talk led to the cancellation of Coulter’s speech this week due to safety concerns.

BAMN’s parent organization worked directly with the North American Man/Boy Love Association (NAMBLA) in the years just before it founded BAMN, according to NAMBLA documents reviewed by The Daily Caller. In addition, a member of that parent organization said to have founded BAMN is an admitted member of NAMBLA, which she has described as the victim of a “witch-hunt.”

Trump Gives “Never, Ever” Speech to NRA National Convention

In less than 30 minutes, President Donald Trump hit all the hot buttons, feeding red meat to thousands attending the National Rifle Association’s national convention in Atlanta on Friday.

Trump, the first sitting president to address the NRA convention since President Ronald Reagan in 1983, began by voicing his appreciation to the NRA and its membership for its and their early and generous support of his presidential campaign. The NRA first endorsed Trump for president in March 2016 and subsequently pumped $30 million into his campaign, running four times as many ads in his support than it did for Mitt Romney in 2012.

French Scientist Who Predicted Trump and Brexit Says the Maths Add Up for a Le Pen Victory

According to French physicist Serge Galam, a victory for populist anti-mass migration presidential candidate Marine Le Pen is entirely possible due to a phenomenon known as differentiated abstention.

Professor Galam, who works as a research director at the French National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS), says the science proves the possibility of a Le Pen victory, SFR reports.

“Differentiated abstention” is the key, according to Galam, who defined the term as: “The gap between the vote intention declared in the polls and the actual vote.”

Hillary Clinton Had Plans to Shore up EU Project

The failed Democratic candidate had devised a strategy which included dispatching officials on a tour of the continent to drum up support and publicly denouncing critics of the project in White House statements.

She wanted to develop a “closer relationship” with Brussels during her tenure, building on the foundations laid by Barack Obama, and felt that the European Union “needed” more support from Washington.

[Comment: I am not surprised.]

An opinion poll revealed support for the party was just 29 per cent, down from 32 per cent earlier this month.

Caroline Glick: Netanyahu’s Bold Move Against Europe

On Tuesday, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu adopted a new strategy for managing Israel’s diplomatic relations with the West. Long in the making and increasingly urgent, Israel’s new strategy is very simple. Foreign governments can either treat Israel in accordance with international diplomatic norms of behavior, or they can continue to discriminate against Israel.

If they act in accordance with international diplomatic norms, Israel will respond in a like fashion. If they choose instead to discriminate against Israel and treat it in a manner no other democratic state is treated, Israel will abandon diplomatic convention and treat foreign governments as domestic critics.

On Monday, after his repeated requests for Germany’s visiting Foreign Minister Sigmar Gabriel to cancel his plans to meet with Breaking the Silence and B’Tselem, Netanyahu gave Gabriel an ultimatum. Gabriel could meet with Netanyahu, or he could meet with them.

Gabriel refused to cancel his meeting with Breaking the Silence and B’Tselem. So Netanyahu canceled their meeting.

To understand the strategic significance of Netanyahu’s decision and what further steps are now required to ensure the success of his strategy, it is necessary to understand what both groups together, and Breaking the Silence in particular represent. It is then important to recognize how they are used by Berlin and other foreign governments.

‘Friendly Fire’ May Have Killed 2 U.S. Soldiers in Afghanistan Raid

WASHINGTON — Two American soldiers who were killed in Afghanistan during a raid Wednesday night may have been struck by so-called friendly fire, the Pentagon said.

The Defense Department identified the soldiers as Army Rangers, Sgt. Joshua Rodgers, 22, and Sgt. Cameron Thomas, 23, both deployed from Fort Benning, Ga. A third soldier was wounded in the operation, which targeted the emir of Islamic State militants in Afghanistan, Defense Department officials said.

The officials said the military was investigating whether the men had been killed by ground fire, either from American forces or Afghan commandos who were taking part in the raid.

“We are investigating the circumstances of the combat deaths of the two Army Rangers in the beginning of what was an intense three-hour firefight,” the Pentagon spokesman, Capt. Jeff Davis, told reporters on Friday. He said it was “possible” that the two Rangers were struck by friendly fire.

“North Korea fired an unidentified missile from a site in the vicinity of Bukchang in Pyeongannam-do (South Pyeongan Province) in the northeastern direction at around 5:30 a.m today,” the Joint Chiefs of Staff said in a statement. “It is estimated to have failed.”

The JSC added it’s analyzing additional information.

It said the South’s military is keeping a close eye on the possibility of additional provocations from the North and maintaining a thorough defense posture.

Amid Venezuela’s Chaos Looting Gets Deadly and Political

CARACAS, VENEZUELA — The thick steel door with welded reinforced plates being installed at Yadira Castro’s small shop seems like it might be more appropriate for a prison or a bank.

But after looters recently rampaged through her neighborhood, pried her door open and emptied her store of snacks, bread and cigarettes, what might be seen as overkill anywhere else is the reality of being a Caracas merchant.

“What I built over two decades, an entire life, was destroyed in a day,” she said.

Italy Fears ISIS Fighters Slip Into Europe Posing as Injured Libyans

Italian investigators believe that a number of Islamic State fighters from Libya have slipped into Europe by infiltrating a scheme designed to give hospital treatment to wounded regular Libyan government soldiers.

A Italian intelligence document seen by the Guardian reveals a complex network in which, from 2015, members of Isis and others linked to jihadi movements have infiltrated Europe pretending to be injured, so as to be treated in clinics and then freed to move elsewhere in Europe and the Middle East.

[Comment: A surprisingly good article from The Guardian.]

  1. Macron attacks Poland for refusing to join in the EU suicide by jihadist! Vote Le Pen!!

  2. Macron: [German chancellor Angela] Merkel and German society exemplified our common European values. They saved our collective dignity by accepting, accommodating, and educating distressed refugees. Do the lazy French want more of the same with Hollande’s protege?

  3. Anthony Mundine has two permanent chips on his shoulders, one against white Australians and the other against those who know how fickle a person he really is.

He is part Aborigine and his parents were once upstanding Australian citizens who many a young aspiring boxer looked up to. Tony Mundine, Anthony’s father, has a good boxing record, but his son Anthony is a disgrace to the sport. He refuses to act appropriately or even attempt to accept winning and losing graciously, as his father knew how to do before him.

His self aggrandisement would put Cassius Clay to shame.

Anthony Mundine once broke a younger man’s jaw during an altercation in a public toilet, and caused other injuries to him that required the young victim to be hospitalized for several weeks. Mundine was charged with several offences over that incident, yet, he was able to walk free from his court appearance because the young victim failed to show up at court to give evidence against Mundine – such is the person that is Anthony Mundine!

Is it really any wonder why he became a Muslim!

  4. OK, the way I see it is like this. The world many of us grew up with in the 20th century is gone. On the surface, we have some of the same institutions and architecture, but social structures, forces, and populations are rapidly changing and setting up the difficult conflicts we are experiencing today – with much more to come.
There are three main forces at work in this: (1) globalists (both of the neo-liberal “economic” variety, who benefit from importing cheap labour, driving down wages, and moving jobs to “low cost” jurisdictions to improve their bottom lines; and elite “progressives,” who benefit from conducting employment, research, social service, legal, public relations, and advocacy work for migrants, along with helping divide the existing population politically); (2) islamists, who seek to spread their barbaric worldview, laws, practices, and populations worldwide (ironically, the dissemination of their wahhabi views is funded largely from oil money paid for by Western consumers to our so-called “allies”); and (3) traditionalists/nationalists, largely emerging from the more traditional cultural populations and ethnic stock of nations, many of whom are reproducing well below replacement level, aging rapidly, and feeling both “left behind” and threatened by all of this rapid social change and industrial decline (notably active in the U.S. election, Brexit, and several European elections).
The first two groups more often have coinciding interests against the third, and frequently (though not always) cooperate in effect, if not in intent in a hegemonic relationship. It’s not necessarily a “conspiracy” (which is hard to prove), but a coincidence of interests that often benefit both groups in various ways. The danger is that their disproportionate influence over our institutions is seemingly growing faster than the relatively limited protests and influence of the third group, which I’m sure the others hope will simply die off and hand them the field by default.
Add to this the fact that islam is an worldview that morally elevates obedience and submission and you can get a sense of the legitimating ideology that may eventually be employed (along with some twisted variant of multiculturalism) to justify the emerging state of affairs, with small elite groups benefiting handsomely while everyone else’s toil, deprivation, and submission gets justified by faith.
This is potentially the social architecture of the future. The seminal question: fear or fight it? Well, I know where I stand and I won’t go quietly…

    • Good analysis, Scurvydog. Under (1) you include the elite “progressives”, but there are also many who are not of the “elite” but act out of genuine conviction and are not necessarily SJWs.
