Gates of Vienna News Feed 3/20/2017

A “British” recruit for the Islamic State may have used the money he received in welfare payments to pay for the travel expenses of his wife and children to join him in Syria when he went there to fight in the jihad.

In other news, according to the latest polls, almost 50% of Canadians are against illegal immigration, and oppose the policies of Prime Minister Justin “Baby Doc” Trudeau.

Spain, Italy, Greece and Portugal Owe Massive Debt of €1 Trillion to ECB

EURO states owe the European Central Bank (ECB) a staggering €1trillion as they teeter on the verge of bankruptcy amid warnings a debt bubble is on the horizon.

Analysts condemned the “flawed economics of this reckless [EU] experiment” and said the ECB faces a rude awakening as states crumble under the burden of debt.

Market conditions in Eurozone are showing signs of a return to the conditions that sparked the 2011 European debt crisis which first reared its head in 2009.

The ECB uses a system called Target2 to assess levels of debt and the bank’s data appears to show it is only a matter of time before the current system breaks.

George Soros Lashes Out: ‘Americans Must Fight Evil Trump’

Billionaire globalist George Soros has issued a scathing attack to Donald Trump, accusing him of being “evil” and urging the American public to rise up and “fight Trump”.

Despite the fact that numerous countries around the world are now investigating Soros for his very public agenda to usurp Democratically elected governments, the multi-billionaire penned an Op-ed for the New York Times recently explaining why Trump’s brand of ‘hate’ should not be tolerated…

[Globalist rabid tirade snipped]

[Comment: yeah, sure thing Palpatine. All those who love freedom should fight against the one man battling Soros’ wet dream of a globalist tyranny foisted upon humanity. Soros is the real evil one here. How many have died in countries around the world as a result of his NGO destabilization methods? Methods which he is now directing at the USA.]

Who Stokes the Fire of Globalism?

A total stranger asked me recently to name the one person who has done more damage to the U.S. by stoking the global communism fire. The answer is rather complex but I gave him a simplistic one — the education system with its hundreds of thousands of teachers who indoctrinate children eight hours a day, from kindergarten through college, into the utopia called Marxism. He had asked for the name of the one omnipotent person he wanted held responsible for the destruction of our country and the social engineering of western civilization.

Because the United States is such a vast country, it is harder for the average American to see how they’ve been manipulated on so many fronts for a century now, in schools, in the media, through books, in the economic, judicial, political, and the health care realm, and how the elite globalist social engineering has taken hold in all fifty states like a metastasized cancer. They are now running the country; no matter which branch of the same political tree, R or D, is in power, the agenda goes on unabated. One can look at the results of the recent Dutch election and realize that self-destructive voters are hopeless.

It is easier to study a small country and point out how it has devolved into the current status quo by putting the events under the microscope of time. As it is often the case, the majority of people are oblivious to what is really happening under their noses. Lacking real information, the smart few turn to conspiracy theories, which sometimes are proven correct. But the majority of people rely on propaganda, the result of concerted efforts by those in power to manipulate them through the mass media, political disinformation, and through brainwashing in schools.

Freedom of Movement Will Destroy EU, Warns Top Czech Diplomat

FREEDOM of movement could cause the break-up of the European Union (EU), the Czech Republic’s Foreign Minister warned today.

Lubomir Zaoralek said Brexit showed Europeans were tiring of unchecked migration — with the very existence of the bloc now at stake.

He said his country had long respected freedom of movement as one of the European Union’s fundamental freedoms but warned the union itself may not survive because of it.

And the diplomat flatly rejected calls for all EU states to accept some of the more than one million migrants who have arrived in the EU from outside the bloc in recent years.

Germany Threaten Facebook With ‘Huge Fines’ If They Don’t Remove Alternative News

Germany will impose fines of up to 50 million euros if Facebook don’t remove alternative news content from their platform.

A new law being drafted will see social media firms face hefty fines if they take longer than seven days to remove content that German authorities deem to be “illegal” — including so-called fake news.

Germany’s justice minister, Heiko Mass, says that social media giants such as Facebook have not done enough to tackle content that the government deems ‘subversive’.

[Comment: ie, any content that is anti-globalist.]

Google Promises Policy Review After Several Big Brands Pull YouTube Ads

Wow, who knew? Clients don’t like to be associated with jihadis and racists

Google has promised a review of its ad policy on YouTube after a backlash from blue-chip advertisers. It follows a series of reports by The Times demonstrating big brand ads running over content that breaches YouTube guidelines, such as jihadist videos and other inflammatory or racist material.

French advertising giant Havas “paused” its UK ad spend with YouTube on Friday, reportedly £35m a year, and the Royal Bank of Scotland, Lloyds and HSBC followed suit at the weekend. The Cabinet Office halted its YouTube spending last week. The Metropolitan Police and The Guardian had also inadvertently been helping to fund the video producers.

Greece: Police Find 8 Parcel Bombs Headed to EU Coutries

ATHENS, Greece (AP) — Police in Greece have discovered and neutralized eight parcel bombs, addressed to European Union finance officials and businesses in various European countries, at a postal sorting office near Athens.

The discovery Monday came after letter bombs were sent last week to the German Finance Ministry and the Paris office of the International Monetary Fund, where a small explosion injured a member of staff.

How Pandering PC Labour Councillors Helped Create the UK’s Jihadi Breeding

[…]

‘I think I’m the last [non-Muslim] business left,’ said father-of two Mr Mills, 54. ‘I don’t think I know of any others.’

Meanwhile, in nearby Fallows Road, Kevin Jones, a painter and decorator, represents the last vestiges of the old working class. He has lived in the street for the past 30 years.

‘Someone once asked me why I was still here. I told him I’d always been here. My wife has always been here. We brought up our four children in this house. Why should I move?’

He remembers, like it was yesterday, the time 17 years ago when he was working in a house further up the road. Suddenly, the police were everywhere. Mr Jones watched from a window as they stormed a property directly opposite. Later, a young Muslim man was arrested at the scene. The man was the infamous bomb-maker Moinal Abedin.

Macron, Le Pen Clash in First French Election TV Debate

PARIS — The two front-runners for the French presidency clashed spectacularly in the campaign’s first televised debate between leading candidates Monday night.

All five candidates landed punches during vigorous discussion on the big issues for France: jobs, terrorism, immigration, Europe.

But the faceoff between independent centrist Emmanuel Macron and far-right populist Marine Le Pen provided political theater, even moments of high drama in pitting two opposing visions of France.

UK: ISIS Recruit May Have Used Welfare Cash to Fund Family’s Terror Journey

A terror recruit took his entire immediate family — including three young children — to join the Islamic State in Syria and may have used government welfare money to bankroll the trip, The Sunday Times reported.

The family’s former landlady in East London made the discovery, saying she learned the man’s wife received monthly housing benefit payments of about $1,230 that she failed to pass on in rent.

The suspect, 30-year-old Shahan Choudhury, was “brainwashed” by Islamic extremism while awaiting trial for the murder of a 17-year-old hospital worker before he was acquitted in 2007, other members of Choudhury’s family told the newspaper.

[Comment: Back in the early 1990s, a grad student in psychology told me that the concept of “brainwashing” has no scientific basis. Since that time, I have occasionally looked into the issue, and I agree.]

Wilders Wants Freedom Party to be Part of Dutch Coalition Talks

Geert Wilders said he still wants his anti-Islam Freedom Party to be part of talks on a new coalition government in the Netherlands, striking a defiant tone after his failure to make significant gains in last week’s elections as informal talks got under way.

Prime Minister Mark Rutte, whose Liberals remain the largest group in parliament, repeated that he wants Wilders’s party, known as the PVV in Dutch, to be excluded the from coalition talks.

Wilders, whose Freedom Party gained five extra seats in the lower house in The Hague to become the second-largest, told Liberal Health Minister Edith Schippers, who’s leading the first informal talks, on Monday that barring the Freedom Party from the coalition talks would be undemocratic.

“The PVV deserves a place at the negotiation table,” Wilders said in a tweet to which he attached a note to Schippers, who’s been appointed by the speaker of the lower house as the so-called scout to take the first soundings on the next government.

The process of forming a new coalition after a Dutch election is highly choreographed. Amid increasing political fragmentation, at least four parties will be needed to get to a 76-seat majority in the lower chamber this time round. Schippers was meeting Monday with the leaders of all 13 parties that won seats…

UK Banks ‘Involved in Multibillion-Pound Russian Money-Laundering Scam’

Some of the UK’s top banks have been accused of processing around £600 million in a multibillion-pound Russian money-laundering scam.

High street names including HSBC, the Royal Bank of Scotland, Barclays and Coutts are among those involved, The Guardian reported.

More than £16 billion and maybe as much as £65 billion was moved out of Russia between 2010 and 2014, the paper said.

Targets in South Africa’s ‘Genocide’ All White

‘Shooting Back’ author Charl van Wyk: Christians fighting politicians’ ‘racial hatred’

There’s a crisis in South Africa.

White South Africans, especially the Afrikaners, face perhaps the greatest threat to their existence in centuries on the continent after South African president Jacob Zuma recently came out in support of confiscating white-owned property without compensation.

There are well-founded fears of “genocide” against white South Africans amid reports of surging crime, especially against farmers. And white South Africans face even more race-based laws and regulations than existed under apartheid, driving minority white South Africans out of the economy and forcing many into squalid squatter camps.

Christian missionary Charl van Wyk saw the hate directed against the Christian Afrikaners with his own eyes in 1993 when terrorists burst into St. James Church and killed 11 people. Van Wyk opened fire with his own sidearm, startling the terrorists who expected nothing but unarmed victims, and causing them to flee.

He recounted his experiences in “Shooting Back: The Right and Duty of Self-Defense.”

51 Nonprofits in Brussels Migrant District Suspected of Having Terror Links

Police have uncovered 51 organisations with suspected terrorist ties in the migrant-dominated Molenbeek district of Brussels, according to a new report into anti-terror measures.

Belgium’s Interior Minister Jan Jambon promised to “clean up” the now-notorious municipality, which has a reputation for being a jihadi safe-haven, after authorities discovered the Brussels commune acted as a hub for many of the suspects involved in the Paris and Brussels terror attacks.

Almost Half of Canadians Are Against Illegal Immigration and Justin Trudeau, Says Poll

The shock poll, by Reuters/Ipsos, found nearly half of Canadians want to deport illegal immigrants crossing into the country from America.

And a similar number — 46 per cent — were displeased with the prime minister’s efforts in handling the influx.

The country traditionally enjoys bipartisan support for high levels of legal immigration into Canada, but Mr Trudeau has come under criticism for steady flow of illegal migrants.

Some 41 per cent of adults asked in the poll said they thought the high numbers of illegal immigrants would make Canada less safe.

Judicial Piracy and Plunder of America’s Immigration Law

It has been rightly pointed out by a number of individuals that Federal law gives absolute authority to the President of the United States in matters of immigration and determinations of the national security implications of said immigration and travel. Despite this fact, a Federal judge has blocked the Trump administration from implementing temporary travel restrictions on citizens of countries that pose a potential security threat to the United States. (This after Mr. Trump attempted to accommodate the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals by changing the terms of the order to comply with the Court’s demands.) The word ‘overreach’ is far too tame for what this judge and the 9th Circuit have done; it is a complete usurpation of power.

First, some background: …

Poverty, The Euro and Migrants: Populism Changes the Agenda of Italian Politics

The populist threat in Italy has translated into a change in the political agenda. Now that elections in the short-term seem less likely (everything points to a vote not coming before February 2018), we are seeing glimpses of the issues that will be fought over to stem the rise of the anti-establishment 5-Star Movement and the Marine Le Pen-styled right-wing politics of the Northern League.

Three of these issues stand out above all: anti-poverty measures, the position on Europe and the single currency, and immigration. These are the questions that will be contested for the helm of a disorientated country that has become tri-polar, with one significant unknown remaining: the electoral law and the variable geometry of the coalitions that will follow.

Tony Blair Admits He Did Not Realize How Many Migrants Would Come to the UK After EU Expanded

Tony Blair has admitted he did not realize how many migrants would come to the UK when he opened Britain’s borders to millions of European workers.

The former Labour leader relaxed immigration controls in 2004 after 10 new nations including Poland, Lithuania and Hungary, were admitted to the EU.

He tried to play down the significance of opening Britain’s borders, arguing that most EU migrants came to the UK after 2008.

However, official figures show that the number of EU migrants who came to Britain rose from just 15,000 in 2003 to 87,000 the following year. That figure increased to 104,000 in 2006 and 127,000 in 2007.

Is Facebook Permitting Pedophilia and Child Porn on Its Platform?

While Facebook facilitates facial recognition and vacuums up user data by the exa-byte (look it up), they draw the line at being asked to clamp down on child porn being passed around on its servers.

In a shocking story putting the massive social network in a very seedy light, Gizmodo reported last week, “When BBC journalists discovered child porn on the network and sent those images to Facebook last week, the company reported the BBC to police in the UK for the distribution of illegal images.”

That’s right. When informed that pedophiles were passing around pictures of children in the vilest, most unholy ways, Facebook shot the messenger. Well, Facebook asked police to do it for them — metaphorically of course.

Investigative reporters from the BBC have a long history of tracking down the perverts that seem to pervade the Internet. After discovering that there was a significant amount of such images floating around Facebook, the network notified executives at the company, offering to sit down and show Facebook’s representatives the evidence of pedophilia collected by BBC reporters.

Again, from Gizmodo:

Simon Milner [a Facebook representative], finally agreed to sit down for an interview about moderation tools on the network. There was just one condition: Facebook asked that the BBC reporters send the company images that they’d found on Facebook’s secret groups that the BBC would like to discuss.

The BBC complied with Facebook’s request, sent the images to the company, and then, almost unbelievably, Facebook backed out of the scheduled sit down and reported the BBC to the police!

Scandal: MRI Brain Imaging Completely Unreliable

Over the years, I’ve exposed a number of medical diagnostic tests. For example, the antibody test was once taken as a sign of good health when it registered positive, but then it was turned upside down-a positive result was read as a signal of illness.

Now we have the vaunted MRI brain-imaging system.

From sciencealert.com (7/6/16): “There could be a very serious problem with the past 15 years of research into human brain activity, with a new study suggesting that a bug in fMRI software could invalidate the results of some 40,000 papers.”

“That’s massive, because functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) is one of the best tools we have to measure brain activity, and if it’s flawed, it means all those conclusions about what our brains look like during things like exercise, gaming, love, and drug addiction are wrong.”

“It’s fascinating stuff, but the fact is that when scientists are interpreting data from an fMRI machine, they’re not looking at the actual brain. As Richard Chirgwin reports for The Register, what they’re looking at is an image of the brain divided into tiny ‘voxels’, then interpreted by a computer program.”

“‘Software, rather than humans … scans the voxels looking for clusters’, says Chirgwin. ‘When you see a claim that “Scientists know when you’re about to move an arm: these images prove it,” they’re interpreting what they’re told by the statistical software’.”

“To test how good this software actually is, Eklund and his team gathered resting-state fMRI data from 499 healthy people sourced from databases around the world, split them up into groups of 20, and measured them against each other to get 3 million random comparisons.”

  1. [Comment: Back in the early 1990s, a grad student in psychology told me that the concept of “brainwashing” has no scientific basis. Since that time, I have occasionally looked into the issue, and I agree.]

The way I understand “Brainwashing” is as well described in the 1984 novel from Orwell. The technique is truly ancient, prominent in ancient China, but also used in the Roman Empire for military training:

The procedure is to deny the subject sleep and food, occasionally hit him or her to cause pain, and during that time keep on repeating your propaganda. Push and Pull, Good Cop – Bad Cop, and after a couple of months you have a living body that is “brainwashed” – that is, former modes of behaviour were overwritten by new trauma based models.

The special operations and many armies, including ISIS, perform this on soldiers to make them capable of killing innocents.

A more sophisticated brainwashing is portrayed in the Game of Thrones – Theon Greyjoy character. Tortured, eunuched, traumatized, brainwashed…

Some famous “Stockholm Syndrome” cases bear the same procedures in the background.

  2. There are communist armies, Muslim armies and even a Jewish army. There are no Christian armies.

  3. BBC Radio 4 was particularly egregious this morning (Tuesday). In an episode of an often interesting documentary series, “The Long View”, they- well, here’s the write-up in “Radio Times”:

“Jonathan Freedland compares the current wave of fake news targeted at Muslims and immigrants with the murder story of an eight-year-old Norwich boy in 1144 blamed on local Jews”.
