A summit of immigration-critical and EU-skeptical political leaders will be held tomorrow in the German city of Koblenz. Frauke Petry of the AfD (Germany), Matteo Salvini of the Lega Nord (Italy), Marine Le Pen of the Front National (France), and Geert Wilders of the PVV (Netherlands) will meet to discuss the dismantling of the European Union.
In other news, Police clashed with anti-Trump antifa protesters on the streets of Washington D.C. today during the inauguration. Several police officers were injured, and nearly a hundred protesters were arrested.
Meanwhile, retire Marine Corps General James Mattis was officially confirmed as Secretary of Defense in a 98-1 vote by the Senate.

National Debt Under Obama Grew by $9 Trillion — 86 Percent
Data posted on the Treasury Department’s TreasuryDirectwebsite on January 19, the day before President Barack Obama’s final day in office, showed a total public debt outstanding of $19,961,467,137,973.64. The corresponding figure for January 20, 2009, the day Obama took office, was $10,626,877,048,913.08. Therefore, the national debt under Obama grew by about $9 trillion, or an increase of 86 percent.

Obama’s Legacy Will be Forever Etched in Halls of the Federal Reserve
He was the Fed’s best friend ever. Could they’ve had a better business partner than Obama, taking the Federal budget and clown raping it with ruinous levels of spending. The Fed’s mandate shifted from tinkering with rates during periods of need to blatantly controlling asset prices and the economy.
As of right now, during the final hours of Obama’s presidency, the Federal Reserve has never been more powerful. It is the central bank to the world — doling out liquidity to whoever needs it — regardless of national sovereignty.
Plainly, it has become a caricature of itself, a cabal weaponized to the point of lunacy — totally unchecked and operating in the shadows with impunity.
There are many things that will be forgotten, many mistake that will be corrected, after Obama has gone.

“Deploraball” Protests Turn Bloody as Trump Supporter Assaulted With Flagpole
One of the victims was 21 year old Trump supporter and Youtube Journalist James Allsup of Seattle, who was harassed and then punched on camera by members of the “Antifa” protest organization featured in the recent Project Veritas undercover sting.
After the cameras were off, Allsup was hit on the back of the head with a flagpole requiring a trip to the ER for some staples.

Foggy Bottom or what we might aptly call “boggy bottom.” The State Department has long had leftist inclinations and a soft-on-jihad attitude, and will work tirelessly to undermine the new president’s authority. Its current Assistant Secretary and spokesperson John Kirby, a practiced liar, is its appropriate face. For the first time in living memory, it needs to be dealt with ruthlessly, downsized, rationalized and systematically purged. In other words, it must become a government agency and not a de facto government pursuing its own policy initiatives, which differ little or not at all from the Democratic Party line. Similarly, the Federal Civil Service needs to be shrunk and its budget drastically slashed, a move that appears to be on the books.
National Intelligence and the IRS. Both services have become increasingly politicized under the Obama administration, the IRS targeting conservative sites and magazines, and the CIA under rank incompetents and partisan actors like John Brennan and Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, indulging in unsupported allegations regarding Russian hacking and plainly favoring the Democratic Party. These agencies must be thoroughly depoliticized, its top officials unceremoniously fired as Democratic Party toadies, ineptitude rooted out and bloat eliminated.
The UN. Violating its irenic origins, it has become a body of anti-American thugs, freeloaders and kleptocrats — “jackals,” as Daniel Moynihan called its members — occupying prime New York real estate and depending largely on American financial contributions to continue its operations. In a well-reasoned and historically-based argument, Bruce Thornton shows why the criminal and peculating UN is beyond reform. It should be immediately defunded if not abolished. It can maintain its Geneva headquarters, but it does not belong on American soil and does not deserve American cash. International resolutions can be passed through diplomatic channels on a nation-to-nation basis, in the same way as trade agreements can be negotiated…
Global warming. AGW is the greatest scam of our times. There has been no global warming for 21 years and the models used to predict climate change are demonstrably unreliable, if not actually fraudulent. Governments that levy carbon taxes are filling their coffers illegitimately. (See my Global Warning for a succinct analysis of the climate scandal.) Skepticism also applies to the renewable energy industry, which suffers from the “Solyndra effect,” and serves the interests not of the public but of an unaccountable cadre of cronies who profit from government grants and loans, agency funding and carbon trading schemes. The entire shakedown enterprise is due for a major debunking.

CDC “Spider” Scientists Attack the CDC, Blow the Lid Off
There is a group of anonymous scientists at the US Centers for Disease Control- they call themselves the Spider Group- Scientists Preserving Integrity, Diligence and Ethics in Research. They have penned a letter to the CDC’s chief of staff, Carmen S. Villar:
Here is the explosive accusation they make:
“We are a group of scientists at CDC that are very concerned about the current state of ethics at our agency. It appears that our mission is being influenced and shaped by outside parties and rogue interests. It seems that our mission and Congressional intent for our agency is being circumvented by some of our leaders. What concerns us most, is that it is becoming the norm and not the rare exception.”
“Some senior management officials at CDC are clearly aware and even condone these behaviors. Others see it and turn the other way. Some staff are intimidated and pressed to do things they know are not right.”
“We have representatives from across the agency that witness this unacceptable behavior. It occurs at all levels and in all of our respective units. These questionable and unethical practices threaten to undermine our credibility and reputation as a trusted leader in public health.”
I have written at length about another whistleblower at the CDC, William Thompson, a long-time researcher who, in August of 2014, confessed in writing to massive fraud (archive here). He admitted that, in a study on the safety of the MMR vaccine, he and his colleagues literally threw vital sheets of data into a garbage can. The study then gave a free pass to the vaccine, claiming it had no connection to autism- when in fact it did. Thompson is the subject of the film, Vaxxed (trailer).
Now with this letter, we see that other scientists at the CDC are blowing the lid off internal corruption at their Agency.

CIA Unveils New Rules for “Collecting, Analyzing and Storing” Information on American Citizens
In a burst of transparency, one day after it made available some 13 million pages of archives documents online for the first time, on Wednesday the Central Intelligence Agency unveiled revised rules for collecting, analyzing and storing information on American citizens, publishing them in full for the first time.
As Reuters reported, the new rules were released amid continued public concern about the government’s surveillance powers, and were published two days before President elect-Donald Trump is sworn into office and may be changed by the new administration. Trump has said he favors stronger government surveillance powers, including the monitoring of “certain” mosques in the United States.
The new procedures, under development for years, were signed on Tuesday by CIA Director John Brennan and Attorney General Loretta Lynch.

George Soros Calls Trump a ‘Would-be Dictator’ Who ‘Is Going to Fail’
George Soros thinks President-elect Donald Trump will fail — and that will be just fine with the billionaire investor and supporter of progressive causes.
“I personally am convinced that he is going to fail,” Soros told Bloomberg during an interview at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. Failure will come “not because of people like me who would like him to fail, but because his ideas that guide him are inherently self-contradictory and the contradictions are already embodied by his advisors.”
Soros spoke less than 24 hours before Trump, himself a billionaire businessman and political agitator, takes the oath of office as the 45th president. Trump’s Cabinet picks have been undergoing a sometimes-grueling round of confirmation hearings on Capitol Hill, though it’s not clear if any will be rejected.
During the 2016 campaign, Soros donated close to $20 million to various causes, including more than $10.5 million to Trump’s opponent, Democrat Hillary Clinton, according to the Center for Responsive Politics.

President Trump, Preserve Our American Exceptionalism
The sun rose today, January 20, 2017, on a cloudy and rainy day but I was dancing with joy inside. I cried and felt as if a heavy burden was lifted off my chest, the crumbling stone of anti-Americanism and communism.
There is a new Sheriff in town and he loves our country. He is glowing, almost giddy with pride and bliss, knowing that he is going to lead our nation and, indirectly the world, on the right path of economic success.
President Trump will begin to put back together the scattered pieces of the fine-tuned watch called America that the previous occupant of the White House had dismantled piece by piece, never knowing how or having any desire to put it back together again. The more mayhem he created, the happier he seemed to be. His legacy will live in infamy. History will not be kind to President Barack Hussein Obama.
I have devoted the last eight years of my life to explain publicly and to write pro bono about the specter and evils of communism that was encroaching our country and the American spirit every day. The fact that this man from Hawaii was able to get away with so much without a whimper from the American people who had been duped into voting twice for the man with the golden and mesmerizing voice, the man who criticized our country non-stop to our friends and enemies alike, to anybody who was willing to listen, spoke volumes about the targeted transformation of the American psyche.
We must now reverse that brainwashing. Lee also supported legislation that would bring more Muslims into America. No wonder he is anti-Trump! Obviously, Senator, you and Hillary would get along quite well with allowing hundreds of thousands more non-vetted Muslims into our country.
In January of 2015, a handful of Senators quietly introduced new legislation in Congress that would allow for virtually unlimited Muslim immigration into the United States — lifting caps entirely on several categories of visas favored by immigrants from Muslim countries. The Mark Zuckerberg-backed legislation, S.153, is called the Immigration Innovation Act (or I-Squared). [Link]

Senate Officially Confirms Mattis as SecDef
The Senate has officially confirmed retired Marine Corps Gen. James Mattis as secretary of defense, ending a long-standing tradition of civilian control of the military.
Although some Democrats like New York Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand expressed reservations about the fact that Mattis has not been out of the military long enough, the rest of the Senate seemed perfectly fine with making an exception to the rule, given his legendary reputation.
The Senate voted 98-1 to confirm Mattis, Defense News reports.

Rather than try and encourage Americans of all stripes to build upon America’s many positives, the Obama administration chose to promote negativity. No matter what, the agitators are programmed to never accept authentic solutions to problems they complain about.
For example, the negro thought police, their white progressive masters and the street gumps are all focused on turning America into a brutal lower rung on the ladder nation. The nations they admire most are Cuba, Venezuela and others of that ilk. Congressional Black Caucus members have for eons taken annual visits to Cuba to learn from that nations dictators how to undermine America from within. For years, progressive blacks and others have complained that republicans seeking political office do not visit black neighborhoods or address black gatherings. Yet when Donald Trump went to more black neighborhoods than Mrs. Clinton could have nightmares about to explain his positive vision for America, the negro thought police complained from the heights of heaven, to the depths of hell. Of course they also reamed black Americans like Steve Harvey for listening or Dr. Ben Carson for accepting a position in the Trump Cabinet. Antifa agitator resorts to violence in the absence of having an actual argument
Video from protests that took place outside the Deploraball in Washington DC last night shows an Antifa demonstrator sucker punching a Trump supporter in the face.
The clip shows Trump supporter James Allsup having a reasoned debate with another protester before a masked Antifa agitator starts shoving him from behind.
The agitator then steals Allsup’s hat and he gives chase. Another protester then comes from nowhere to sucker punch Allsup in the face, although the punch was so weak that it caused little injury.

What Has Obama Done to Us, And How Was He Able to Do it?
Now that his time as president has come to an end, it’s time to ask what Barack Obama has done to the country, and how he has been able to do it.
Obama is the most left-wing president in American history. Never mind his speech at the 2004 Democrat National Nomination Convention, or during the run-up to the 2008 election, when he was presenting himself as a moderate.
Someone scrutinizing Obama’s history, including his early years in and out of the U.S., his time in school, his stint as a Chicago community organizer, his law school experiences, and his political career as an Illinois state senator and a U.S. senator, should have recognized him for what he is: a radical leftist, steeped in Marxism, contemptuous of America’s Constitution, hostile to traditional values, and committed to Alinskyite notions of social justice.
It’s stupefying to realize how little the Mainstream Media (MSM) vetted him before January 20 2009. Perhaps it is therefore understandable that some who could not, or would not, recognize Obama for what he was believed he was some kind of moderate capable of uniting the nation along post-partisan and post-racial lines.
Obama’s term as chief executive has been disastrous for the U.S. in terms of both domestic and foreign affairs. There is no need to reprise the litany of Obama’s deleterious policies. If one wants a partial glimpse of the damage Obama and his minions have done to our domestic institutions, read Yuval Levin’s article in the December 2016 issue of Commentary. His disastrous cuts to America’s military, and his commutation of “Chelsea” Manning’s sentence show how little he cares about U.S. national security.
These terrible developments stem from his successes in fundamentally transforming the country.

Is Minister Morneau Planning Tax Hikes by Stealth?
Government should not exploit “simplification” as a convenient pretext to sneak in tax hikes on millions of Canadians
In last year’s federal budget, Finance Minister Bill Morneau announced that the Liberal government would embark on a review of federal tax credits. Many groups-including the Canadian Taxpayers Federation — voiced their support.
It’s not hard to see why. Canada’s tax code is a beast; the Income Tax Act alone is 3,314 pages long. Simplification is a good idea. Canada’s tax code is festooned with all kinds of special carve-outs and credits which make it frustratingly complex, inefficient and nearly impossible for a regular citizen to file their own taxes. And while the Liberals have already eliminated certain Harper-era tax credits-such as the children’s fitness and arts credits-they have also introduced some of their own, including a school-supplies credit for teachers. Much work remains to be done.
Unfortunately, there are worrying signs that Minister Morneau’s real intent is to use “simplification” as political cover to hike taxes by stealth for millions of Canadians.

Richmond Hill Liberal MP Majid Jowhari Sparks Controversy Over Iranian Regime Infiltration Activity
Iranian-Canadians are expressing shock and concern over reports that Richmond Hill Liberal MP Majid Jowhari is lobbying for friendlier relations with the Iranian regime. Iranian expatriates say they are worried a terrorist organization is being welcomed into Canada and may even be infiltrating the country with “spies” with support from a local politician.

Austria Arrest ‘Foils Terror Attack’ In Vienna
Austria’s interior minister says the arrest of a man in the capital Vienna has averted a possible terror attack in the city.
Wolfgang Sobotka said the 18-year-old was an Austrian citizen of a migrant background and there were “indications” of jihadist motives.
Police are warning the public to be alert and to report suspicious objects.

Far-Right Leaders to Meet to Discuss ‘Free Europe’ Vision
KOBLENZ, GERMANY — Far-right populist leaders from Germany, France, Italy and the Netherlands meet in the German city of Koblenz on Saturday to present their vision for “a free Europe” that would dismantle the European Union.
Marine Le Pen, who is expected to make it into a May 7 second-round run-off for the French presidency, is due to speak at the meeting, along with Frauke Petry of the anti-immigration Alternative for Germany (AfD).

German Authorities ‘Lose Sight’ Of Three Islamists Flagged as Threats
Burkhard Lischka, a parliamentary spokesman for the Social Democrats, said three of the nearly 550 individuals identified as Islamist threats in Germany could not be found.
Speaking after a meeting of the internal affairs committee in Berlin, Lischka held up as a warning the case of Anis Amri, a failed asylum seeker from Tunisia who fell off the authorities’ radar despite long being regarded as a threat. Last month, the 24-year-old plowed a truck through a Christmas market in Berlin, killing 12 people and wounding dozens more.

Switzerland Rejects Post-Brexit Alliance With UK Against EU
Switzerland may be outside the European Union, but the country is not looking for an “anti-EU alliance” with the UK, its foreign minister has said.
Following Theresa May’s 12-point Brexit blueprint speech, Swiss foreign minister Didier Burkhalter said: “We want good, maybe even closer ties with Britain. But we will not forge an alliance with Britain against the EU.”

UK: Birmingham Canal Attack — Jogger Escapes by Speaking Arabic to Gang
Dad-of-two Lee Skinner, 38, was punched and knocked into the freezing water as he ran past five hooded youths in Acocks Green, Birmingham.
As he struggled to get out of the cold, slippery canal the thug who punched him was waiting — until the former language teacher started speaking Arabic.
The shame-faced gang, all aged around 17, then fled the scene and the attacker is now being hunted by police.
Media lecturer Lee from Olton, had needed hospital treatment for his injuries after the 3pm attack on Sunday.
He told the Birmingham Mail: “The police praised me and said my speaking in Arabic showed quick-thinking. They said my actions could have stopped the situation from being a lot worse.”
The attack took place on the canalside in Yardley Road.
Lee was jogging towards a bridge when he tried to pass the youths, who he believes were all from the Pakistani community.
He said: “There were five in total, all wearing grey and black, casual clothing, puffy coats, caps and hoods.
“The guy who punched me was rounded in the face and had neat, tidy stubble. The other four were quite slim.”

A man threw a burning Bible into an elderly man’s face and threatened to ‘gouge his eyes out’ before stealing his car and rampaging through Melbourne city centre, killing four and injuring at least 20 people, reports say.
The alleged driver of the car has been identified as Dimitrious ‘Jimmy’ Gargasoulas, a Melbourne local who was charged with family violence offences last weekend and was out on bail.
The 26-year-old has a history of mental health and drug abuse issues and police say he was also involved in a domestic stabbing incident at 2am on Friday.
After attacking his brother, Gargasoulas is accused of storming into his mother’s ex-boyfriend, Gavin Wilson’s, housing commission apartment and demanding the keys to his Holden Commodore.
The 76-year-old said Gargasoulas came into his flat with a Bible, set it alight and threw the burning book into his face before threatening to gouge his eye out.
‘He asked me twice for (the keys) and I said “no, I’m not giving it to you”,’ Mr Wilson said in an interview with Seven News.
‘Then he put his hand in my eye and started pressing. He said “Give them to me or I’ll gouge your eye out”, so I said “OK, OK”.’

Half the pram was later found further up the road by the mall at a pedestrian crossing on William Street and the baby is believed to be in a critical condition.

Rampaging Melbourne Driver’s Troubling Facebook Posts Revealed
THE man who allegedly drove a car through a crowded Melbourne shopping district on Friday, killing four and injuring at least 20, claimed to be “god himself in a human bodily form” in a series of unhinged Facebook postings leading up to the attack.
Windsor man Dimitrious “Jimmy” Gargasoulas, 26, originally from Coober Pedy in South Australia, posted a Facebook message on January 1 declaring that, “Illumamati are a whole bunch of dogs … I found out”.
Four were killed, including a man and woman in their 30s and a 10-year-old child, when a car driven by Gargasoulas ploughed into Bourke Street Mall, which was packed with people. Fifteen others were seriously wounded and the city plunged into chaos as emergency services rushed to help the injured and secure the scene.
In the hours before Friday’s atrocity, Gargasoulas is alleged to have stabbed his brother in the suburb of Windsor, taken a female hostage, and led police on a chase through central city streets.
Details about his life have begun to emerge — and it would appear his troubling online outbursts began to worry even his friends.

Awash in Migrants, Italy Steps Up Deportations for Relief
ROME—As Italy looks for fresh ways to cope with the hundreds of thousands of migrants bottled up in the country, one solution is rising to the top of the agenda: deportation.
The pressure on Rome to ease its migration problem is growing after the country saw a record 180,000 migrants arrive by boat last year, bringing the total of seaborne arrivals to about half a million since the start of 2014. The revelation that the Tunisian man accused of a deadly attack on a Berlin Christmas market had evaded an Italian expulsion order also has given Italy new impetus to toughen its stance.
In response, the new government of Prime Minister Paolo Gentiloni is set to unveil plans Wednesday to open 16 new detention centers throughout the country to hold migrants who receive expulsion orders, enabling Rome to raise the number of forced repatriations. They are also ordering police to intensify efforts to find illegal migrants.

Germany: Migrants on Trial for “Torching Refugee Housing’ During Ramadan
TWO migrants are on trial for arson after allegedly torching their own refugee housing in a protest at food being served during Ramadan.
The men, 27-year-olds from Morocco and Algeria, are accused of setting fire to the housing facility in a former exhibition hall in Dusseldorf, Germany.
In the fire on June 7 last year, 28 people suffered from smoke poisoning when the hall on Dusseldorf’s fairground that housed about 150 migrants burned to the ground.
Prosecutors say the Algerian laid the fire, aided by the Moroccan.

ISIS Migrants to Strike After Plotting Attack From Germany Refugee Camp, Court Hears
A SUSPECTED Islamic State (ISIS) terror cell of migrants were preparing to strike Germany with a list of dates and places to blow themselves up when they were arrested, a court heard.
The detailed plan was found when police swooped on a group of four Syrian men who were ready to attack Dusseldorf, the German Federal Court of Justice (BGH) said in a ruling on Thursday.
They had planned an attack on a Friday or Saturday “because the old city centre of Dusseldorf is particularly busy on these days”, the hearing to extend custodial questioning time on the men heard.

Earlier this month, the city of Boca Raton gave Smith permission to install a Satanic display at Sanborn Square downtown. That is the same park where other religious organizations install a nativity scene and menorah during the holiday season.
Smith is a known activist for separating religion from government. He argued if the city allows one religious display on public property, it has to allow them all, even if they are offensive.
His display included the words “May the children hail Satan.” Bremer said that is not a message a middle school teacher should spread.
You have got to be quite sick to do that sort of thing, but the truth is that a new brand of militant Satanism is on the rise all over the nation.

There is nothing surprising here. Christians have quenched the fire of the Holy Spirit. The churches no longer preach confession of one’s sins, but rather Christ loves you no matter what – like the trophies given to our children not for winning but just for being in the game.
Satan was always alluring – look at Milton’s ‘Paradise Lost’ or Goethe’s ‘Faust.’ And our children never hear words of the Bible anymore, words that would have echoed in their minds throughout their lives.

Well, we have heard that before from the previous president and the candidate who was not elected and we will most likely hear it again.
