Gates of Vienna News Feed 7/17/2016

A former member of the Nation of Islam shot and killed three police officers in Baton Rouge before being shot to death himself. Several other policemen were wounded, one of them critically. The killer had made Internet videos raving against “crackers”, but Baton Rouge police say there appears to be no racial element to the murders.

In other news, the latest information on Mohamed Bouhlel, the man who committed the jihad massacre in Nice on Bastille Day, is that he sent €100,000 home to Tunisia just before he became a shahid. Information on his phone shows that he texted several friends (some of whom have been arrested) about his plans just before beginning his massacre. He reportedly also conducted sexual liaisons with both men and women via dating sites.

101 Muhammads Jailed by U.S. Anti-Terror Agencies Since 9/11

U.S. anti-jihad agencies have jailed or arrested 101 men since 2001 who are named for Muhammad, the reputedly final and perfect prophet of Islam, despite President Barack Obama’s insistence that Islamic “violent extremism” — and the 101 Muhammads — have nothing to do with Islam.

3 Law Enforcement Officers Killed, 3 Others Injured in Baton Rouge Shooting

The Louisiana governor called the shooting of Baton Rouge deputies and officers “an absolutely unspeakable heinous attack” Sunday, as the city mourned the deaths of three officers and prayed for the recovery of one “fighting for his life.”

Louisiana Gov. John Bel Edwards described Sunday morning’s deadly ambush on six Baton Rouge officers as “unjustifiable” and said, “the violence, the hatred just has to stop.”

Authorities did not name the shooter but sources identified him to Fox News as Gavin Eugene Long of Kansas City, Mo., who they said carried out the attack on his 29th birthday.

Three officers are confirmed dead in the ambush. Three others are injured, including one critically. The gunman was shot and killed at the scene.

Baton Rouge Shooter Gavin Eugene Long Was Nation of Islam Member, Railed Against ‘Crackers’ On YouTube Channel [Video]

Videos on Long’s account show that he was a former Nation of Islam member. He also ranted against “crackers” and made references to Alton Sterling, the black man killed by police in Baton Rouge on July 5.

Other information about Long shows that the Kansas City native, who CBS reported was honorably discharged from the Marines in 2010, went by the name Cosmo Ausar Setepenra.

In one video filmed from Houston and posted to Long’s Youtube account on July 12, the suspected guman discusses being in the Marines and reaching the rank of E-5.

Long, who was reportedly carrying a rifle and wearing all-black attire when he confronted police, posted several videos within recent weeks discussing various police-involved shootings…

Bombing Suspect Killed Himself Before Blasts

LAS VEGAS (AP) — A 59-year-old man who authorities say drove a rented car from Arizona to a rural Nevada town and detonated two bombs at the house of former co-workers shot himself dead before the blasts erupted, according to autopsy results made public Sunday.

Glenn Franklin Jones ‘ death was ruled a suicide, Clark County Coroner John Fudenberg told The Associated Press .

Jones’ body was blown up in the blasts in Panaca. Fudenberg said the body was identified through fingerprints.

A motive for the bombings hasn’t been disclosed, and the findings raise questions for federal, state and local investigators about the type of fuses, timing devices or detonators used to trigger the powerful Wednesday evening blasts.

Lincoln County Sheriff Kerry Lee didn’t immediately respond to messages for comment early Sunday.

Lee and neighbors have said residents Tiffany Cluff and two daughters fled from the house before the blast. Husband Joshua Cluff and another daughter weren’t home at the time. Officials said the family of five has been cared-for since the explosions by family and friends. Messages left for the Cluffs by AP haven’t been returned.

“I guess he was bent on destruction, but not killing,” neighbor Richard Katschke said of Jones, a former nurse who once cared for Katschke’s mother at Grover C. Dils Medical Center in the neighboring town of Caliente.

Katschke and another neighbor, Dennis Sanders , said Jones knew the Cluff family and helped the Cluffs build the house that was badly damaged.

A hospital administrator confirmed that Jones and the Cluffs worked together as nurses, and that Joshua Cluff was Jones’ supervisor.

Lee said Friday that investigators were trying to confirm whether Jones had military experience…

Can This Political Group Get the Amish to Vote for Trump?

The Amish are a conservative, Christian group of people who don’t watch TV, drive cars or use the internet — and they don’t typically vote in national elections. A group of Donald Trump supporters is hoping to change that.

“You have to imagine what it would be like if you had never seen a Trump tweet, if you’d never seen him debate, if you had never watched a rally on YouTube, if you were learning about Trump essentially for the first time,” says Ben Walters, the Washington-based fundraising director of Amish Pac, a political action committee dedicated to getting the Amish to vote for Trump.

“That’s basically the situation we’re in — where we are introducing Trump to the last pocket of voters who really don’t know who he is.”

Confirmed: Top Saudi Officials Aided the 9/11 Jihad Plot

By Robert Spencer

The 28-page section of the 9/11 report detailing Saudi involvement in the September 11, 2001 jihad attacks have finally been released (albeit with substantial portions still redacted), and it is now clear why one President who held hands with the Saudi King and another who bowed to him worked so hard all these years to keep these pages secret: they confirm that the 9/11 jihad murderers received significant help from people at the highest levels of the Saudi government.

After 9/11, the U.S. declared war on terror and entered Iraq and Afghanistan. But if Bush had really been serious about attacking jihad terror at its root, he would have invaded Saudi Arabia and Iran instead. Under Obama, the betrayal has gotten exponentially worse. There needs to be a full Congressional investigation now into why these 28 pages were kept secret for so long, with those responsible punished accordingly. And above all, the next American administration must make a searching reevaluation of our relationship with Saudi Arabia, and stop treating enemies as allies.

Dead Baton Rouge Shooter Attacked Police on His Birthday

BATON ROUGE, La. — The deceased suspect in the deadly shooting of Baton Rouge law enforcement officers appeared to have attacked police on his 29th birthday, CBS News has learned.

Manhunt continues after Baton Rouge police shooting

Police believe two additional suspects may be at large after multiple officers were shot in Baton Rouge. WWL reporter Dave Cohen joins CBSN with …

The suspect has been identified as a black male named Gavin Eugene Long of Kansas City, Missouri, sources tell CBS News. He was born on July 17, 1987.

One suspect was killed and two others might still be at large, Casey Rayborn Hicks, a spokeswoman for the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office, previously said. However, Louisiana state police said Sunday afternoon there is “no active shooter” in Baton Rouge.

The Baton Rouge Advocate reported that two other men were picked up across the Mississippi River in Addis and were being questioned by police as “persons of interest.”

Three Baton Rouge law enforcement officers were killed and three others wounded Sunday, less than two weeks after a black man was shot and killed by police here in a confrontation that sparked nightly protests across the city that reverberated nationwide.

Police involved in the shooting included officers with the Baton Rouge Police Department and deputies from the East Baton Rouge Sheriffs Office.

Police responded to a report of officers shot at a location on Airline Highway near Old Hammond Highway around 9 a.m., CBS affiliate WAFB reported.

A law enforcement source tells CBS News senior investigative producer Pat Milton that police were called to the location on Airline Highway, less than a mile from the Baton Rouge Police Department headquarters, after someone reported a suspicious man with a weapon.

A witness tells CBS affiliate WAFB that he saw a masked man in black shorts and shirt running from the scene where three Baton Rouge law enforcement officers were shot and killed.

Brady Vancel said the man looked like a pedestrian running with a rifle in his hand, rather than someone trained to move with a rifle.

Vancel said he’d gone to work on a flooring job on a street behind the gas station where authorities say the shooting occurred. He said he heard semi-automatic fire and perhaps a handgun.

He saw a man in a red shirt lying in an empty parking lot and “another gunman running away as more shots were being fired back and forth from several guns.”…

Guest Column: Islamism Equals War Against the Unbelievers — Whoever They May be

By John Brinson

You will not see the following information in any other newspaper, certainly not the Washington Post or the New York Times.

Islamism is at war against the “kafir,” unbelievers in Islam. What is Islamism? It is a radical political movement based on a fundamentalist and exact reading of the Islamic scriptures. Its goal is world domination by Islam. It is spreading havoc and slaughter around the globe. Most of its victims are Muslims who do not share the poisonous ideology.

This state of war has existed since the beginning of Islam. Islam is composed of three holy texts called the trilogy: the Quran, recorded during and after the life of the Prophet Muhammad (570-632 AD); the Suna (the Sira, the life of Mohammed and the aHadith — the traditions of Islam), written 100-200 years after Muhammad’s death; and Sharia Law, written in the 1400s. Islam is entirely incompatible with human freedom and the U.S. Constitution. Islam is not a religion of peace. It is a religion of submission to the laws inscribed in Sharia.

Shooting at Florida Hospital Kills Patient, Staffer

A Florida hospital worker and her elderly patient were killed early Sunday when a gunman opened fire inside the medical facility, police said.

Suspected shooter David Owens, 29, was taken into custody shortly after the 2 a.m. shooting at Parrish Medical Center in Titusville.

Police have not detailed Owens’ motive, and it’s not clear if he had any connection to either victim, Titusville Police Chief John Lau told WFTV.

Police said Owens everted the hospital through its emergency department, and then wandered up to patient rooms on the third floor. He entered 88-year-old Cynthia Zingsheim’s room, and opened fire on her and 36-year-old Carrie Rouzer, a hospital worker was sitting with the patient.

Both women died at the scene.

No More. After Nice, Let’s Stop the Nonsense

by Bruce Bawer

In the years after 9/11, major acts of Islamic terrorism in the West seemed to come along every year or so, leaving plenty of time in between to go back to pretending that everything was fine and to resume mouthing benign platitudes. Now they’re happening so often, one right on top of the other, that we can hardly keep track of them. The only upside is that it’s getting harder and harder to maintain that pretense.

The time for shock is over. The time for heaping up flowers and candles and stuffed animals at the sites of atrocities is over. The lies and ignorance and cravenness must end, and the simple facts must be faced. The free, civilized West has, for years now, been the target of a war of conquest—a war waged in many forms (of which terrorism is only one) by adherents of a religion that preaches submission, intolerance, and brutality, and our leaders and media, with few exceptions, continue to play a game whose fatuity, fecklessness, and pusillanimity have become increasingly clear. After Nice, no more.

At Height of Turkish Coup Bid, Rebel Jets Had Erdogan’s Plane in Their Sights

“At least two F-16s harassed Erdogan’s plane while it was in the air and en route to Istanbul. They locked their radars on his plane and on two other F-16s protecting him,” a former military officer with knowledge of the events told Reuters.

“Why they didn’t fire is a mystery,” he said.

A successful overthrow of Erdogan, who has ruled the country of about 80 million people since 2003, could have sent Turkey spiralling into conflict and marked another seismic shift in the Middle East, five years after the Arab uprisings erupted and plunged its southern neighbour Syria into civil war.

A senior Turkish official confirmed to Reuters that Erdogan’s business jet had been harassed while flying from the airport that serves Marmaris by two F-16s commandeered by the coup plotters but that he had managed to reach Istanbul safely.

A second senior official also said the presidential jet had been “in trouble in the air” but gave no details.

Erdogan said as the coup unfolded that the plotters had tried to attack him in the resort town of Marmaris and had bombed places he had been at shortly after he left. He “evaded death by minutes”, the second official said…

Erdogan Suggests Turkey May Bring Back Death Penalty After Failed Coup

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Sunday gave signals that Turkey might reinstate capital punishment in the wake of Friday’s failed coup attempt.

Erdogan spoke to his supporters in front of his Istanbul home Sunday evening. His speech was punctuated by frequent calls of “we want the death penalty” from the large crowd, to which Erdogan responded: “We hear your request. In a democracy, whatever the people want they will get.”

The Turkish president said government officials would be in contact with Turkey’s opposition parties to reach a position on capital punishment, adding, “We will not delay this decision for long. Because those who attempt a coup in this country must pay.”

Turkey hasn’t executed anyone since 1984 and capital punishment was legally abolished in 2004 as part of its bid to join the European Union.

In addition, dozens of arrest warrants were issued for judges and prosecutors deemed to be government opponents.

The government also dismissed nearly 3,000 judges and prosecutors from their posts, while investigators were preparing court cases to send the conspirators to trial on charges of attempting to overthrow the government.

“The cleansing (operation) is continuing. Some 6,000 detentions have taken place. The number could surpass 6,000,” Bozdag said in televised comments.

Erdogan Calls on US to Extradite Pennsylvania-Based Cleric After Failed Turkey Coup

U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry said Saturday the Obama administration would entertain an extradition request but Turkey would have to prove wrongdoing by Gulen.

Kuwait: First Gulf State to Provide Rights to Domestic Workers

Interior Minister decree sets minimum labour standards, including wages, working hours, holiday, end-of-service benefits. Happy, human rights groups want to see legislation extended to all Gulf states.

Kuwait City (AsiaNews/Agencies) — Kuwait is the first Gulf state to set a minimum wage for its hundreds of thousands of mostly Asian domestic workers.

Following accusations of widespread abuse, Interior Minister Sheikh Mohammad Khaled Al-Sabah issued a decree setting the minimum wage at 60 dinars (US$ 200) a month and granting domestic staff other rights.

Human Rights Watch (HRW) and other rights groups welcomed the decision, urging other Gulf states to follow suit to tackle widespread abuses.

The decree, which sets out measures to implement a landmark law adopted by parliament last year, also requires employers to pay overtime for any extra hours worked.

It also grants domestic workers the right to a weekly day off, 30 days of annual paid leave, a 12-hour working day with rest, and an end-of-service benefit of one month a year at the end of contract.

The estimated 600,000 maids in Kuwait are among at least 2.4 million working at homes across the Gulf. They are not covered by ordinary labour legislation.

HRW and other groups have documented widespread abuses, including non-payment of wages, long working hours with no rest days, physical and sexual assault, and no clear channels for redress.

HRW has repeatedly urged Gulf states to reform their labour laws to include domestic workers and provide them equal protection as other workers.

It also calls for changes to the kafala or sponsorship system, which has been criticised as a form of bonded labour or even slavery because it restricts most workers from moving to a new job before their contracts end unless their employers agree.

Workers are trapped as employers also hold their personal papers.

Turkey Warns America: Hand Over Exiled Cleric or Else

Turkey’s president and its prime minister issued thinly-veiled threats to the U.S. on Saturday if it does not extradite an Islamic cleric living in the mountains of Pennsylvania.

“Any country that protects Fethullah Gulen will be an enemy to Turkey,” Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yildirim said on Saturday, naming the imam who Turkey’s president Recep Tayyip Erdogan asserts is the mastermind behind Friday’s failed coup.

“This is not a country that can be run from Pennsylvania,” Erdogan said in reference to Gulen as the attempted overthrow was still underway.

“Dear Mr. President: I told you this before,” Erdogan said in a direct address to Obama later on Saturday. “Either arrest Fethullah Gulen or return him to Turkey. You didn’t listen. I call on you again, after there was a coup attempt, extradite this man in Pennsylvania to Turkey. If we are strategic partners or model partners, do what is necessary.”

Gulen, who has lived in self-exile in the Pocono Mountains since 1999, told reporters after those threats that Erdogan himself could be behind the coup.

“There is a slight chance, there is a possibility that it could be a staged coup,” the preacher told reporters through a translator, Reuters reported…

Nice Attacker Sent $110,000 to Family in Tunisia Before Carnage

Mohammed Lahouaiej Bouhlel, who carried out an attack on the French city of Nice, sent around $110,000 to his family in Tunisia shortly before July 14, when the massacre took place, media reported on Sunday.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The investigation found that the person behind the attack was 31-year-old resident of Nice of Tunisian origins Mohamed Lahouaiej Bouhlel.

“Mohamed sent the family 240,000 Tunisian Dinars in the last few days. He used to send us small sums of money regularly like most Tunisians working abroad. But then he sent us all that money, it was fortune,” Bouhlel’s brother Jaber told The Daily Mail.

He also said that the money were sent illegally, Mohammed Bouhlel gave cash to people returning to Tunisia and asked them to transfer the money to his relatives.

Earlier in the day, Europe 1 broadcaster reported that Bouhlel carefully planned his attack. On July 12-13, he went to the Promenade des Anglais, where the attack was later carried out. The video from CCTV cameras showed him exploring the area.

On Thursday night, a truck rammed into a large crowd that was celebrating Bastille Day in Nice. At least 84 people, including children, were killed and dozens of others were injured.

On Saturday, media reported that Daesh, which is outlawed in many countries, including Russia, claimed responsibility for the attack.

State government spokesman and Education Minister Nayeem Akhtar said Sunday that the measures are aimed at saving lives and strengthening peace efforts.

A curfew was in effect in troubled areas for the ninth straight day, with tens of thousands of people trying to cope with shortages of food and other necessities.

The region’s largest street protests in recent years erupted last week after Indian troops killed the popular young leader of the largest rebel group fighting against Indian rule in Kashmir.

Pakistan: Qandeel Baloch: How Her Murder Reflects a Divided Country

In life as well as death, Qandeel Baloch’s story from her childhood in a small conservative town, to a video of her “twerking” and ultimately to her murder is perhaps all too Pakistani in its contradictions and in its violence.

Scores of Educators Held for Inciting Terrorism in Bangladesh

Police vets Prof Hasnat Karim’s involvement with Dhaka terrorists. Investigators seize several books praising jihad from the university library where he taught in 2012. Extremist ideas are spreading in some of the capital’s most prestigious schools.

Dhaka (AsiaNews) — Bangladeshi police have discovered that dozens of university professors and high school teachers have been inciting their students to engage in Islamic terrorism.

One English teacher is quoted by a school caretaker as saying that ““Muslims are being persecuted around the world, so let us attack non-Muslims”.

“When attacks against religious minorities occur, many Muslims are happy to know that Christians or Hindus are killed by the militants. Teachers are making a big mistake,” the school caretaker, anonymous for security reasons, told AsiaNews.

After the tragic terror attack against the Holey Artisan Bakery Café in Dhaka that killed 20 people, mostly foreigners, the police have increased checks.

In recent weeks, the authorities have received dozens of complaints about missing young people, who, in all probability, have run off to join Islamic militants.

At present, law enforcement is focusing on those who might have inspired such behaviour and other violent actions, preachers and teachers, like Hasnat Karim, a former professor at Dhaka’s North South University (NSU) in Dhaka.

He was at the café in Gulshan district that was attacked on 1 July by five terrorists. CCTV cameras show him strolling on the roof of the building together with the attackers.

This has set off alarm bells among the authorities, who took him into custody to vet his involvement. In 2012, he taught at the same university where one of the terrorists, Nibras Islam, was studying.

This has led some to turn the spotlight on the spread of extremist ideas in the country’s schools, including the most prestigious.

The NSU is one of the foremost private colleges in the capital and experts believe that its administrators have never paid much attention to terror activities on the campus.

A few days ago, the commission of inquiry set up by the government seized several books praising jihad in the NSU library.

The authorities also traced several professors who have taught that it was OK to fight against the infidels. Four are working at private universities and four at English-language high schools in the capital and a public university in Chittagong.

The source reports that a professor from Gulshan (the diplomatic district where the recent attack occurred) encouraged his students to attack non-Muslims.

Even a high school teacher, the mother of a young man who joined the ranks of the illegal Islamic group Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB), was found to have encouraged such violence.

For Filipino Authorities, Extra-Judicial Killings of Alleged Drug Dealers a Success

President Rodrigo Duterte’s office released a statement hailing the death of almost 200 drug traffickers who were never tried and convicted in the two months since his election. “The fight against crime is apparently becoming a looming state-sanctioned cover for a policy of summary executions and extrajudicial killings,” a congresswoman says.

Manila (AsiaNews/Agencies) — The Filipino government hailed its war on drugs a “success”, as nearly 200 people were killed without due process, hardline President Rodrigo Duterte’s office said in a statement.

“While the campaign against drugs is far from perfect, a generation of Filipinos have been saved from this scourge of society and destroyer of lives,” the press release explained.

The national police released figures showing that officers had killed at least 192 people they said were involved in drugs from 10 May to 10 July. Duterte took office on 30 June.

In addition, the bodies of almost a hundred unidentified people have been found, many with a sign around their neck blaming them for unproven crimes.

Although the Duterte administration expressed its opposition to vigilante justice, for many Filipinos this is just a fig leaf. For them, what is happening is a throwback to the time when death squads roamed the country under the Marcos regime.

Senator Leila de Lima, a long-time critic of Duterte, filed a resolution on Wednesday seeking a congressional investigation into the killings.

“The fight against crime is apparently becoming a looming state-sanctioned cover for a policy of summary executions and extrajudicial killings,” De Lima wrote in her resolution.

Venezuelans Pour Into Colombia Again as Border Briefly Reopens

(AFP) — Thousands of Venezuelans again poured into the Colombian city of Cucuta on Sunday, profiting from the brief reopening of a long-closed border to buy food and medicine.

Border crossings over two international bridges were opened in early morning without restrictions, although identity cards were checked.

The authorities from the Venezuelan National Guard, police from both countries and consular authorities were on hand to help control the flow of people.

Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro had ordered the border closing in August 2015 after an alleged Colombian paramilitary unit attacked a Venezuelan military patrol, leaving three people wounded and raising tensions between the two governments.

The reopening of the border had originally been planned for Sunday, but Maduro’s government moved it up a day, allowing thousands of Venezuelans to pour into Cucuta on Saturday.

The influx has come during a 40-day freight truckers’ strike in Colombia, which heightened fears that shortages could hit major cities including Cucuta…

Television Personality Sonia Kruger Calls for Australia to Ban Muslims

MEDIA personality Sonia Kruger has called for Australia to stop taking in Muslim migrants.

TheToday showpanel was addressing a recent article by News Corp columnist Andrew Bolt, which attributed terror attacks in France to the country’s intake of Muslim migrants .

Ms Kruger, who hostsToday ‘s sister showToday Extra , said she had a lot of “peace-loving, beautiful Muslim friends”, but admitted she agreed with the controversial opinion piece.

“Personally, I would like to see it (Muslim migration) stop now for Australia,” she said.

She referred to Japan, a racially homogeneous country with a low proportion of Muslim migrants, and pointed out that they don’t experience terror attacks by Islamic extremists.

“I want to feel safe, as all of our citizens do when they go out to celebrate Australia Day, and I’d like to see freedom of speech.”

At this point, host David Campbell chimed in exclaiming: “I’d like to see freedom of religion as well, as well as freedom of speech! They both go hand in hand.”…

  1. Is it just me, or are the islam-terrs a bunch of libertine sleaze?

The 911 crew were into strip clubs, the el-Bakraoui brussels bombers were clubbers, the bataclan organizer liked gay bars, the orlando shooter, this antinice guy was a bi druggie wifebeater. Most of them had criminal associations and drug use.

Remind us, there must be a past post or two on it, if an otherwise sinning pervert lapsed muslim has an attack of jihad at the last moment, is he “redeemed” according to islamic theology?

    • There is a specific, detailed calculus on how a Muslim may atone for bad deeds, by way of enumerated hasanat, or good deeds. See this essay by Russkiy from a few years ago.

Here’s the system in a nutshell:

So all Muslims can once in a while lapse and do a few non-compliant (Islamically speaking) deeds as long as they compensate for that. The thing about the “bad” Muslims is that they lose track of how many bad deeds they have done. This means that they either have to leave Islam, as there is no longer any hope of salvation for them in Islam, become very, very observant in ways such as growing a beard (a hasana) and other things like that and hope that this will suffice to get them into Paradise, or become a jihadi and hope for a martyr’s death, which will guarantee entrance into Paradise.

      • I like the Catholic version better: saying “The Act of Contrition” – didn’t have to be out loud – was sufficient for entry into Purgatory…of course your stay in this ante room depended on how bad your sins had been.

However, if you died in a state of mortal sin, then only a “Perfect” Act of Contrition would do to save you from damnation. This form of contrition meant the realization that your offenses had cut your soul off from God.

As usual, it took account of the “good enough” vs. the “perfect”…so very Augustinian. So very Italian…and it had the great merit of not being required to kill people…

…Islam is so very barbaric. You can almost see those tribal thieves riding out of the desert to rob and kill passing caravans. Kind of like Baltimore, but with the New Black Panthers hissing and snarling instead of desert sheikhs.

        • The ROP is a disgusting ideology precisely because the individual believer can absolve themselves of their sins and guarantee a spot in paradise by committing the even worse crime of mass slaughter…except that under their ideology the non-believer is worth less than nothing, so mass slaughter of the infidel is not a crime.

          How conveniently vile.

      • Many thanks Baron. Exactly what I was looking for.

IMHO this is one talking point that needs repeating and spreading after every a one of these incidents.

After Nice one of the immediate media narratives was again “he is no true muslim” from both muslim victims relatives and the perps family. The MSM use the perps scummy non-observant nature to speciously distance the incident from Islam, instead of pointing out that redeeming jihad martyrdom is a feature of the ROP system.

        • “True muslim” nonsense is another invention of muslim apologists. Islam like any other totalitarian ideology of control is build on hypocrisy and lies. Homosexualism is punishable by death, but sex with young boys is ok, women committing adultery are stoned to death, but raping is ok, etc etc. I’m pretty sure ISIS leaders are having daily fun with booze, drugs, sex slaves and goats.

  2. Wow, it’s just absolutely grand to witness the ‘reporting’ by the MSM (the Government Media Complex), they have a special knack for reporting the very ‘sanitized ‘and edited version of the news, it seems that most ‘reports’ are run through the ‘Ministry Of Truth’ where they are checked for ‘accuracy’ before issued to the citizenry. Each day I feel more like Winston Smith.

    • In previous news feed there was a link to a story of “honour-killed” pakistani model. Very long article talked about the issue of honour killing – one of many islamic atrocities – as some kind of an abstract tradition existing somewhere in vacuum and practiced by a couple of heartless people somewhere far away. Not a single mention of islam. I even searched for the word “islam” on the page, but the only match was as a part of “Islamabad”. Incredible how exactly Orwell predicted all this.

  3. These “martyrs” are convinced by their ISIS recruiters that their previous dissolute lives of petty criminality will be expiated by the one last act of Jihad they indulge in thereby wiping away the sins of their irreligious past.
    Islam is a mental disorder.

  4. I don’t know if Erdy the goat man is not letting a good opportunity go to waste, or is it ‘shooting’ new Turkish reality movie “Night of the Long Knives II”, if so, then stand by for “Krystalnacht II” as well…..

The second Ottoman empire will obviously last a thousand years……

    • Erdogan is obviously using this false flag coup to speed up a massive wave of arrests, trials, and executions that will secure his place as dictator for life.

I am very curious to see how the situation surrounding Incirlik airbase is resolved. A real president would have already ordered a complete carrier battlegroup to steam for the eastern Med.

We will be lucky if Obama drafts a sternly worded letter blathering about red lines in the sand or somesuch.

  5. Frank, let’s hope they don’t mount spy tv’s in our homes next!

I’ve changed my mind — I no longer think Muslim religion is just lost and wrong and overly violent. It is evil personified.

    • Mariadee- If you haven’t seen “Firefly” I think you’d like it. There is a very violent group of people, originally victims of government experiments, who’ve lost some of the brain’s components that inhibit that kind of gross behavior. These “Reavers” are dreaded by everyone.
