Check out the news from Finland on immigration. It seems the Finns are going to get more immigrants, and help other immigrants, whether they like it or not.

Finland’s intelligence agency in charge of national security says it carefully monitors the extremist Finnish Resistance Movement’s activities. They say the organisation is not widely supported in Finland, but maintains close contact with its sister organisations in other Nordic countries, where incidents like Saturday’s affray in Jyväskylä are much more common.

Ahtisaari: “Finland Won’t Survive Without Foreign Labour”

The Nobel laureate and peace negotiator says he is worried about how Finland’s reputation is being hurt by calls to block immigration.

Former President Martti Ahtisaari has spoken out strongly in favour of a multicultural Finland.

On a visit to Oulu on Wednesday, the Nobel Peace Prize-winner told Yle that he has been saddened by the domestic debate over immigration, noting that it has harmed Finland’s international reputation.

“I have monitored the debate over immigration with considerable sorrow. Throughout my life, I have always seen myself as a Finn, a Nordic, a European and a world citizen,” he said.

Ahtisaari pointed to calculations that the ageing of Finland’s population will require more workers from abroad.

UK: Healthy Retired Nurse Ends Her Life Because Old Age ‘Is Awful’

A leading palliative care nurse with no serious health problems has ended her life at a Swiss suicide clinic because she did not want to end up as a “hobbling old lady”.

Gill Paraoh, 75, who wrote two books giving advice on how to care for the elderly, was not suffering from a terminal disease.

She said she had seen enough of old age to know that she was “going over the hill” and wanted to take action to end her life while she was able to do so.

Speaking before her death in Basel, the mother of two said her experience as a nurse, including working in nursing homes, had shown her that the reality of old age was “awful”.

She told The Sunday Times: “I have looked after people who are old, on and off, all my life. I have always said, ‘I am not getting old. I do not think old age is fun.’ I know that I have gone just over the hill now. It is not going to start getting better. I do not want people to remember me as a sort of old lady hobbling up the road with a trolley.

  1. As a Finn, I can verify that we are truly getting more immigrants, whether we want to or not. Most Finns do not. Yet, the multicultural madness has infected our leaders and useful fools just as badly as in most western countries. They say we desperately need more workers, 100 000 to 200 000 immigrants, yet we have half a million unemplyed Finns already. Where is the logic in that? Not a week, nay, not a day goes by that there isn’t some small news of another rape, assault, robbery committed by immigrants, usually muslims, yet it’s all hushed down with the usual drivel. Isolated case, youths, nothing to do with true islam… The good part is, that there is already a smoldering anger within many Finns. As the saying here goes, “hands in pockets are making a fist in anger”. I still fear, that things will get a lot worse before those fists come out of those pockets…

  2. It is past time to do the Gates of Vienna thing again — the real one. The Muslim hordes were stopped at the Gates of Vienna before and now everyone is letting them in and now scratching their brainless heads and wondering why rape, murder, and theft are increasing. Duh. Use your brains before they atrophy, people!

  3. We Are All Flying on the Germanwings Plane … Will We Just Wait?
This was sent to me via email and I have NO link to verify who the author was. If I did I would place his/her name in BIG BOLD TEXT because this is one of the best stories I have seen in a long time.

“The pilot was locked out of the cockpit. That phrase finally revealed the full horror of the crash of Germanwings flight 9525. Co-pilot Andreas Lubitz waited for the pilot to leave the cockpit then locked the door to prevent his re-entry. After which Lubitz, for reasons unknown and perhaps unknowable, deliberately steered the jet into a harrowing 8-minute plunge ending in an explosive 434 mph impact with a rocky mountainside. 150 men, women and children met an immediate, unthinkably violent death.

Lubitz, in his single-minded madness, couldn’t be stopped because anyone who could change the jet’s disastrous course was locked out.

It’s hard to imagine the growing feelings of fear and helplessness that the passengers felt as the unforgiving landscape rushed up to meet them.

Hard … But not impossible; because America is in trouble.

We feel the descent in the pits of our stomachs. We hear the shake and rattle of structures stressed beyond their limits. We don’t know where we’re going anymore, but do know it isn’t good. And above all, we feel helpless because Barack Obama has locked us out.”
