Gates of Vienna News Feed 7/13/2012Two American tourists were kidnapped by Bedouins in the Sinai, along with their local guide. The kidnappers reportedly want to exchange the hostages for one of their relatives who was imprisoned for drug trafficking.

In financial news, Spanish civil servants protested new pay cuts today. They are normally paid for fourteen months of work every year, but the government wants to cut back on that extra. State employees object to the plan.
