Gates of Vienna News Feed 4/8/2012Muslims in northern Nigeria celebrated Easter by setting off two bombs in a crowded area. The suicide bombers were blocked from getting close to a church, so they exploded themselves on a busy street instead. At least sixteen people were killed, and some reports put the death toll as high as 38.

In other news, North Korea is readying the launch of a “satellite” sometime between the 12th and 16th of April. The launch is said to be timed to coincide with the 100th anniversary of the birth of Kim Il-Sung. The North Korean government has promised a “merciless punishment” for any foreign governments that attempt to interfere with the missile as it passes over their territory.
